Being a first time homeowner I didnt know where to start with the plumbing issue I was having. I found Simon Plumbing service to be highly recommended on many different posts throughout the Oak Forest Community FB page and then saw all the positive comments on Yelp which lead me to make Simon service my first call out to a plumber. I called right when the office open at 7am and Tedd answered immediately. I explain my problem to him and he knew exactly what was going on. He was at my home within the hour and sure enough found the problem and knew how to solve it. He was very knowledgeable and respectful. He answered any question I had and was very transparent with everything that was going on. My plumbing problem was not small nor an easy fix but he got the job done all in one day. He is truly a life saver! Also he didnt take advantage of my situation and charge me an affordable amount. Great work!

We had an emergency service call the day after Thanksgiving and Adam came out after three other prior service calls late at night.  He was very personable and helpful, answering all our questions and educating us at the same time.  Our immediate issue is resolved but if we need further guidance, we will reach out to him again.

You will be hard pressed to find more responsive, professional or diligent plumbers in the western suburbs. They stopped by within 3 hours of my phone call, resolved the issue and were reasonably priced on top of it. Will absolutely use them again if needed.

These guys are the best plumbers in the Chicagoland area period. They show up with what they need always. Which means they dont have to come back and charge multiple times. Clean, punctual, cost effective. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

We recently bought a home that had a lot of weird plumbing issues and we wanted a whole house filter installed. We priced out the job, different filtration options, etc. with multiple plumbing and water filter companies and came to the conclusion we would purchase our own water filter and hire a plumbing company to install it. All Affordable Plumbing gave us not only the best price by far but was the only company that didn't tell us they could fit us in in 3-4 weeks.

When they came to the house, they looked at the filter we bought, looked at our current system, and quoted us almost exactly what we were told over the phone. No surprises! Installed the entire filter no problem and were even quoting out other questions/projects I had for them after the install. They also were willing to start the other jobs I had questions about on the spot!! Will definitely be using them for all of our plumbing issues/jobs. Great work, great people!

The absolute best people to call for any plumbing problems. They are quick, efficient and friendly. They are also a family run business that will not price gouge you. They are knowledgeable and clean up after they are done. They have done a very large job and a couple small jobs for us and each time we have been completely satisfied. I will continue to use them whenever a plumbing issue should arise. Call them first!

Called them on NYE after Action Plumbing near 35th and Halsted left us unable to use our bathtub. They showed up promptly and fixed what Action said they could not and all for $65: a $100 savings from what Action was attempting to rob us of!

He was responsive but was going back and forth with the numbers. We didn't have a good experience with this business. We paid for the service to show up but didn't use him for further repair. I would highly suggest to go with other plumber.

Horrible customer service.  I was in need of assistance, looking for a part for my toilet and was not assisted in a friendly manner.  I was the only woman in line and was treated in a demeaning manner, even the other men waiting for assistance laughed at the customer service rep assisting me, guess if you are a woman, in a man's plumbing world you are considered a joke.  I would never recommend this store to anyone!

Not sure about the other negative reviews. These guys were quick, professional, charged me about 30% less than their competitor I used in the past. They even told me I probably didn't need to root my sewer as often since it was real clear. Didn't seem like they were trying to rip me off, why would they tell me that otherwise?

Eric and Victor were here today and we can't even begin to say how happy we are . We actually had two other  plumbers out in the past 6 months and Eric is the one who did things correctly and solved all our problems and made complete sense . He told us things and found things for us that the other two companies didn't even think about.  These guys are definitely our new plumbers from now on and we are just thrilled .The price was awesome too.  Our neighbors recommended them to us and others in our neighborhood are using them and it's clear why . We purchased this new home in November and we had so many plumbing issues and concerns . Eric and Victor did camera work and actually got out to the main line, inspected and worked on our catch basin, found where kitchen piping leads , implemented ideas about  how to make sure certain piping was what they thought it was , inspected our ejector pit , gave us advice on bathroom issues we were having , FOUND our flood conTrol system that nobody else cared enough to find nor could find , went down into it , explained our old system to us and recommended what type of electrical we needed to make sure our pumps stay working and told us how to maintain our systems  , told us about the different systems our neighbors have and why they are the way they are , I could go on and on . But suffice to stop here and say I cant tell you how relieved we are to finally on our 3rd try find this company and these men.  They also are very kind and caring and love what they do. It was obvious . Epic crew and company ! Thank you Eric and Victor.

I did not have a good experience with Glenbrook Plumbing.  They fixed my sink, but when recaulking it, did not take the time to do the entire job, so it looked shoddy.  When I called to complain and said that I wanted it to be redone, they came back out to correct it.  I paid the bill that day, but then I received a bill in the mail for the second service.  When I called to find out if that was a mistake, they said that I owed them for the service because when they originally did the work, they only fixed the part of the sink that was broken.  Apparently it was my fault for not being there to see the work being done originally, and that I should have known that they only worked on half of the sink (despite it never being mentioned in the previous bill, nor in the subsequent phone conversations, nor by the repair person who came to correct the original work).  When I explained that this was the first time anyone had communicated to me that only part of the sink had been caulked, Bill again said that it was my fault for not being present on the day.  Even though I was present for the second repair, they chose to send a different person than had done the original work, so I couldn't have a conversation with anyone to understand what was being done this time vs the original repair.  Either way, shoddy job originally, complete lack of accountability, and lack of customer concern.  I would recommend that you look to hire another plumber.

Thiesse Plumbing is the real deal!  They get how to do business and do it right..  We used them last year for rodding out our basement to the street to excellent results. This after making the mistake of calling giant Roto-Rooter! If you're looking for the best no nonsense, honest, knowledgable, and customer service plumbing company- call Thiesse!  Will definitely use them again should the need occur.

AVOID THIS BUSINESS BY ALL MEANS.  

I spoke with the owner Jason over the phone and scheduled an appointment for the next day regarding a sewer being backed up. He showed up the next morning on time which was the only plus. The experience after that was not so great though.

He cleared out the main sewage lines and a water line located behind the stove. Roughly 20 minutes after the work was done and he had left, the tenant called the whole basement had FLOODED.

I showed up to the unit and found the issue. Jason drilled a two inch hole into the water pipe so he could rod it out. The issue was he simply used regular tape to cover up the hole. I was shocked when I saw that a professional plumber would use tape to cover up a hole in a water pipe.

I called Jason immediately to explain the situation but was told he is on the other line and would call back. I did not hear from Jason so I called back an hour later and left a voicemail. It has been over a week and two additional voicemail's later, he still has not called back. Obviously he is avoiding contact by all means at this point.

The situation only gets better. One week after the work was done, the tenant called that the sewer was backed up again. I called another plumber and he had to come out and got the job done. I had to pay twice the amount because the job was not done the first time around.
Also, I like to point out I was quoted the day before a reasonable price. It was not until the work was completed did the owner Jason mention he performed extra work and charged $100 more from the original quote.

AVOID THIS BUSINESS BY ALL MEANS.

Do Not Hire this person!!!
We recently hired him for a small shower renovation. We paid him $4k and he never finished the job. We had 3 separate plumbers check his work and All of them said it was incorrect. We ended up paying someone else to finish the job correctly. He ghosted us and never responded to us after he took our money. HORRIBLE! Please Do Not Hire Him!!!
