A clogged toilet and over flowing ejector pit on New Year's Eve...InSink quickly returned our call and was to our home in less than 20 minutes. The problem was quickly diagnosed and explained in layman's terms. They presented multiple options to choose from to fix the problem and were wrapped up in about 2 hours. All things considered, we were charged a more than fair overtime and emergency call out rate, and the charge for parts and labor was in line with our expectations. InSink will be our go-to plumbing service from now on.

I wish I could give Josh and Simon Plumbing 100 stars!  We had water gushing from the upstairs bathroom into our freshly painted kitchen, through the can lights over the sink.  We assumed it was a burst pipe, since the stream was so strong and sudden.

Josh assessed the situation and discovered that some old plumber's putty had rotted away and he resealed it the proper way - problem fixed.  

In short, Josh knew what to do and did not take advantage of us.  We are so glad we were given their number from our friend.  Fantastic job!

I contacted Adam Hadib with A1-Services.  He answered his phone, no voicemail. He asked for photos of the work we needed done, then he sent me back his reasonable quote.

He was able to come out the next day to install our shower door. (He was booked up all week after Sunday).

He did a wonderful job! He was very personable; kind;considerate, & honest.

We will definitely call him again if needed.

These guys are so great! We've had them do work twice at our home. They took all of the necessary precautions due to COVID. They are timely, reliable, and get the job done well. Couldn't ask for more!

The whole team was professional and friendly. They listened to my problems in detail and helped explain some old-house oddities. Quality work and great service, will be having them quote a large project. My new go-to neighborhood plumber!

Scheduling was not fun. I had to be rescheduled without explanation the first time. The second time, they came five hours earlier than their service window. I work from home so I was around to let them in, but it was disruptive to my work and I had to reschedule meetings. Some people think their schedule is more important than other people's and that's not cool.

Service, once it happened, was quick and friendly and got the job done. Price was good too - no complaints there. However, it was awkward that they didn't have a way to take a credit card other than just writing down your credit card details and hope none of your information gets stolen.

Walsh and Son Sewer are the best. I received excellent service from them. I thought their price was fair and reasonable. I am renovating my basement. They installed new plumbing in my basement for a bathroom and laundry room. I also had them change my galvanized water pipes to copper. John Walsh told me it would take 7 to 10 days and they finished in
8 days.

They set up the inspection and we're present when the Chicago inspector arrived. The plumbing passed inspection the first time.

The guys working for Walsh and Son were friendly and very thorough. They did more than I anticipated. Kudos to Walsh and Son Sewer.

These guys are honest and the job was done right.  I am selling a home and had a leak that needed to be fixed fast.  They were out within two hours and did not charge for an emergency call.  The gave me an estimate before the work started and the final work was the lower end of the estimate. If you are in the Orland Park area I would use these guys.

He was responsive but was going back and forth with the numbers. We didn't have a good experience with this business. We paid for the service to show up but didn't use him for further repair. I would highly suggest to go with other plumber.

Horrible customer service.  I was in need of assistance, looking for a part for my toilet and was not assisted in a friendly manner.  I was the only woman in line and was treated in a demeaning manner, even the other men waiting for assistance laughed at the customer service rep assisting me, guess if you are a woman, in a man's plumbing world you are considered a joke.  I would never recommend this store to anyone!

Kennedy has helped me out in many situations. All of their people are knowledgeable, thorough, polite and professional. After they leave, I always have that comfortable feeling that the job was done correctly.

I used Welter Plumbing a few times and they seem knowledgeable, the owner is very good, but I've only seen him once or twice when the young ones couldn't figure out what to do.  In my opinion they are very expensive, they are not upfront with the cost until you get the bill, they tend to suggest you replace other non related parts ($$$$ items), but what annoys me the most is that every time they fix something, like rodding a drain line(160) something else breaks, like the pipe they rodded, but according to them pipes break and crack (so another 180 to replace pipe that cracked during rodding).  Yesterday we had them over to see why a toilet wouldn't flush...the guy suggested we replace a part ($35 part + 145 labor), then after he replaced the part he said we can't flush the toilet because after taking a look at the sump pump (located in my laundry room and seems to me like it's running fine) should be replaced and it's the reason the toilet is not flushing (could be, but of course $$$$ to replace it) This morning I went to do laundry and now I have water on the floor from somewhere( btw the sump pump works just fine)...coincidence I'm sure (and the reason for this review). Also, if you hire them for a job, ask how much everything they suggest costs, including the labor  or you'll be shocked at the end.  Bottom line, the owner is very good and knows pipes like no other.  If you don't mind paying twice for the same job, 1st time to fix the problem and  2nd time to fix what broke the 1st time, then by all means, call them, but if you are like me and can't afford to pay a plumber twice for the same job, then call someone else who is up front with his cost and will give you warranty on his work.

I took off of work and waited the 2 1/2 hour window that Glenbrook Plumbing gave me. They called after I left for work and said they would be there in 45 mins. I called another company.

I've had them do work at my home (faucets, toilet, easy stuff) and the prices have always been fair.  Have not used them for a major plumbing re-do but I would trust them to not screw it up.

I have a gut rehab in Chicago and I called to see if this was a company that can handle the plumbing. This guys was extremely rude and just wanted the address. He then said, You wouldn't have the money for me, I don't want my trucks in that area. Our property is just off Oakpark and in a great up-and-coming area. I earn six figures and this is my 4th property. Just because I am a minority doesn't mean I don't have the money to work with you. I probably earn more money then you anyway, but above all this guy was very condescending. If you are a minority or someone that supports equal rights, don't give this guy your business. Let him earn it in white collar communities he probably can't afford to live in himself.

Do Not Hire this person!!!
We recently hired him for a small shower renovation. We paid him $4k and he never finished the job. We had 3 separate plumbers check his work and All of them said it was incorrect. We ended up paying someone else to finish the job correctly. He ghosted us and never responded to us after he took our money. HORRIBLE! Please Do Not Hire Him!!!
