Don't go with this company. Overpriced, didn't find all the problems the first time, and couldn't fix the problem after the new problem was found.
Charged me, $159 to cut a hole in the sealing, then charged $1600 for replacing tub faucet and replacing a drainage pipe. Spent about 4 hours total and had to bring another worker. After the job was done, they filled the tub and found out there was a different and bigger leak. Then a different specialist had to come and inspect it and claim he needed a compound to order and after weeks they couldn't order it. Painful experience.

I found another plumber and he said I was ripped off for what I paid.

Total fraud , I asked if they charge for a visit to quote me on a leak I had in my bathroom. The lady said it was free, the guy that came In charge my brother $92 because I was at work . I call the person that schedule my appointment and said that she'll ask the plumber and give a call back . Never got a call back reach out to them and this is what the lady said . Rude and fraudulent people .

Very fast to schedule and arrive. Even though prices were listed, the on-site fee was the maximum of the service price window. I expected that but kind of disappointing. Issue was a plugged kitchen drain with the plug way down the line. Service only required less than an hour, which I was happy with but the fee seems steep for that time spent. Can't really protest it, though. and the drain is done for a long time.

I had a stuck cartridge inside of my shower valve, which I already tried to remove myself, and actually partially broke the old cartridge.

The technician showed up during the allocated time frame.  Before arriving I received a text message that I am next.

They charged me $160 (the regular price is $180, but I had my own cartridge).  I felt it was a little overpriced, but I already tried to do it myself for three hours and knew that it is not that simple.

It took the technician less than an hour to remove the old cartridge and to clean up sediment with acid, otherwise, the new cartridge would not fit.

The technician wore a face mask the whole time he was inside of the house, which is greatly appreciated in COVID times.

I am on the board at a condo building in Chicago. We had a serious plumbing issue in our building that was affecting multiple units. Many other plumbing services were not available or unwilling to help us. Drain and Plumbing Services was responsive on New Years Eve to our phone call, as well as sending plumbers out to completely solve our emergency. They were incredibly professional and courteous.

I would recommend to avoid at all cost. They made the situation worst in the bathroom and caused a flood. The technician walked into the house with his shoes on and was extremely rough with the toilet. He was definitely in a rush and honestly didn't seem very competent. The company said they would send someone back 5 days later. After 5 days later they did not send anyone or even follow up. I only used them due to American Home Shield (home insurance company).

After reading a few other disappointed reviews on yelp it seems obvious that the company has a trend of similar poor performance. I would recommend they own up to their inefficiencies and work on improving their services.

Great service at a reasonable price.

They did a great job replacing our sump pump system and installing laundry pump. I really liked how responsive they were in communicating. The initial estimate was initially done over yelp for a simple sump pump replacement. However, I changed my mind and wanted to redo the system (previous homeowner combined sump pump and sewage ejector into 1 pit). The consultation was done over the phone and estimate was updated same day. They were able to schedule the work within 1 week! Plumbers Mike and Sergey were hardworking people who worked overtime past 8pm. They assured me that they will come to fix and correct if needed. Several loads of laundry and some rainy days has passed and everything's working just right.

I called them again as I noticed the Polar Vortex decided to freeze my pipe.  Luckily I had the water drained from the pipes before leaving on vacation to avoid potential issues upon returning.  In a matter of minutes, there was someone over to check and confirm it was a frozen pipe from the outside and that they can have someone over later in the evening with proper tools to fix it; and that in the meantime suggesting I try something in case it fixes it before they can come.  

They arrived earlier than I was expecting because of issues caused by severe weather.  Fixed it in a matter of minutes.  As friendly and professional as always and this is why I keep calling them anytime something happens.  I have their number saved and have passed it along to friends and neighbors as well.

Here's what you need to know: outstanding service by Anna and Austin. Needed a toilet unclogged in a condo and the service was prompt and efficient. I was charged $165 for the job, which is reasonable given the market pricing.

The courtesy demonstrated by Anna in setting up the appointment and by Austin in delivering the service was just fantastic. Austin called before he arrived and there were multiple text message with status updates to keep me posted. Payment was never rushed and done after the fact - at my convenience - via credit card.

I'll definitely be using them in the future and have them do a full plumbing inspections of any home/investment property I buy in the future.

Well done DPS team. You have my patronage in the future...

This was the company that got called out when we went through our home warranty for the low pressure and long times to get hot water in our house. Their tech was very friendly and told us that there was a lot of sediment in our water heater, and replacing it should make our experience a lot better.

Spoiler, it got worse and we paid $600 for the privilege of worse hot water.

First they showed up with the wrong water heater. They swore up and down that the home warranty didn't follow their notes, and the home warranty swore up and down that they did the paperwork wrong. Either way, they didn't figure that out until they had removed our old hot water heater and told us we would be without hot water for a week due to the Thanksgiving holiday.

After 4 hours on the phone with both them and our home warranty company, they finally agreed to come back the next day and made it sound how lucky we were that they pushed back other customers to make time for us. Which wouldn't have been necessary if they had either put our old water heater back in, or had paid attention to what water heater they got before taking out the old one.

They finally came back the next day, and after installing it, the tech left in a hurry without us being able to verify anything, and also leaving garbage through our basement and driveway to boot. Over the last week, the hot water has been slower to heat up, not as hot once it's gotten hot, and the pressure not improved at all.

I can consider that they are at the mercy of what the home warranty allows them to do, but they still recommended work that they should have known wouldn't have solved our issue. It's unethical and costly to us, and has actively made our situation worse.

It was Saturday at 3:00 PM and we had an issue.  Since earlier in the morning we had been trying to get our drains unplugged using conventional methods such as drain cleaners and plungers.  Pour in the chemicals and wait for the allotted time and pour hot water... nothing was working.  Called the plumber we had used to replace our water heater and they said since it was a Saturday this would be an emergency call which would be an extra $200 to come out and look at the situation and they did not have anyone available for 4 hours.  I told them I would call back in a few minutes while I talked it over with my wife and if we thought we could make due Monday morning.  We decided it needed to be done and called back.  Luckily the phone rang and no one answered which forced me to go and find someone else.

I really liked that Drain & Plumbing Services listed their pricing schedule on their website.  I could see their pricing and that while a Saturday afternoon was not the cheapest call time, it was not an extra $200 surcharge. I called and they told me someone could be there in an hour.  They sent me a text message and much like Uber, I could see where Sergio was now and when he started to come to my house I could get an idea of when he was leaving the other call.

Are these the people that come in and take off their boots at the front door or wear coverings on their shoes? No.  Did they need some extra paper towels to sop up some water that I supplied? Yes  Was there a little communications challenge because I do not speak Ukrainian? Yes

They came on a Saturday evening, did the job we asked for a fair price and did it competently.  I was charged exactly what I was told with no surprises and he got a big tip too.

Yes, I would call them again when I need assistance with my plumbing.

Update 4/25/19

Used DPS again to replace new water heater and address a possible pump issue. They again provided an exceptional experience. They continually maintain professional service and make every effort to exceed expectations.

As advised in some of my other posts when I see a long review I don't have the patience to read it all so if this is the only paragraph you read I will sum it up in a few sentences. When you invite someone into your home you don't want an awkward uneasy feeling while they are their working. In addition, you want to have the piece of mind to know the job will be completed professionally every time. Drain and plumbing services team did an outstanding professional job and I never had that uneasy feeling in my own home, below is my explanation why.

I needed a plumber to replace a section of pipe that split. I reached out to several different companies (mostly the ones with decent yelp reviews)and drain and plumbing services was by far the best. Phil and Mike came out explained the options and completed the project in a timely matter. *Note one of their competitors and very highly yelp rated was going to charge me $150 for a valve that Phil were going to install for $15. Additionally, Phil spotted a incorrect gas line hook that would eventually cause huge issues down the road if not addressed immediately. The attention to detail and service is why I called them back to fix the gas line.

Austin came out to fix the gas line and I experienced the same service and attention to detail as with Phil and Mike. Austin explained how he was going to resolve the issue and kept me in the loop with the progress. During the project Austin noted a few bad connections separate from the line he was working and without making a recommendation of having those changed he took care of it immediately.

I will continue to use drain and plumbing services simply because I feel a sense that they won't cut corners on their services and they won't attempt to overcharge their customers.

I used DPS again based on a positive review on another site, as I had a leak under my kitchen sink.  Prepared for the worst, installing a new faucet, not only did Austin fix my leak (with no replacement needed), but he noticed that the disposal was not locked into place, and he fixed that too!  woo!  Thank you!

So incredibly disappointed with this company. Like all the other low-star reviews that mention AHS (American Home Shield), we too were about to be led down the drama path, but we got out before it was too late.

Last week our old sink in the basement decided to stop draining properly. Our washing machine drains into this particular sink, so we did our best to unclog it. We've fixed it in the past on our own, but this time around we couldn't seem to get it to route out, and so it was time to make the call to AHS. Since we called on a Friday, we were told that no one was available to come out until Monday. Ugh, but oh well.  

Today Sergi arrived promptly, when we were told he would, and he came into our house for less than five minutes, took a few photos of our sink and disappeared to his van for 20+ minutes. My husband had to go out to the van to find out what was going on. Sergi said he couldn't work on our clog until he replaced the pipes with PVC, because they were not up to code. He put in a call to get approval from AHS to upgrade our 3' pipe with PVC. Mind you, we just had a full home inspection last year, and there were no code violations with regard to our pipes. He said it was approved and that he would be back the next day to fix it. Something didn't feel right, so we called back to Drain & Plumbing Services to find out what the heck was going on. Anna said she had to to still turn in the inspection report to AHS, and that she had 24 to do so, but that it most likely wouldn't be approved for the amount they give her in order to replace the pipe. At that point, it felt like she could honestly care less whether she had our business or not. As a result, we were just done and wanted to move on to find someone to stick the proper tool in there and undo the clog.

*WHAT DID THIS HAVE TO DO WITH UNCLOGGING OUR PIPE?

About five minutes after talking with Anna, we received a text from AHS saying the job was marked complete, and they wondered how our experience was. HUH? Things were getting weird at that point. We knew it was time to just get out from under all of this drama and called AHS. They got Anna on the phone and she said they had 24 hours to provide a report, but that she would have something to AHS by 3pm. Not sure exactly what the report was that everyone was waiting on at this point.

*AGAIN, WHAT DID THIS HAVE TO DO WITH UNCLOGGING OUR PIPE?

By 3pm we called back AHS. They got on the phone with Anna, because they still had not received the report. So much drama!!

Needless to say, AHS refunded our money, and we will no longer be needing services from Drain & Plumbing. We're going to deal with this on our own at this point. Good riddance!

My mom had an emergency on a Sunday afternoon with her sump pump in her basement. I called and within the hour they were at her place and solved the problem. Great customer service and very kind. I strongly recommend this company. I am a business owner so I value customer service, and this company nailed it. Thank you again!

My sump pump stopped working and I called Drain and Plumbing services who sent Mike to look at it first thing the next morning.   They showed up, quoted a price to repair, and repair was done quickly and professionally at the exact  price quoted.  I recommend this company!

We had an emergency at 3pm on a Friday afternoon.   Thick black stuff coming from the drain in our utility closet spreading all over the floor.  The plumber we have used in the past was out of town so I quickly read Drain and Plumbing Services good reviews and called.  
Irene could not have been nicer from the beginning of our call.   She told me Sergei would be at my house within the hour.   He arrived in less than a half hour and got right to the source of the problem!   Not only did he fix it but helped to clean up the mess that had been created.  
I will be contacting Drain and Plumbing Services for all my future plumbing needs.   Special thank you to Irene and Sergei!!

This company was recommended by my home warranty company and they were fantastic. They were easy to reach, called me if there were any changes in the schedule, showed up on time and repaired the issue quickly. I would highly recommend them.

Submitted a request pretty late on Saturday.  This company responded fast and price estimate was acceptable. Michael came to my house within an hour. He didn't start working until price was confirmed. On top of fixing my clogged up sink and toilet he was kind enough to replace a washer in my faucet at no extra charge. Definitely going to use them again. Kudos to Michael!

Yuri came out and gave an estimate about a leaking drain pipe that could only be reached through our living room wall. After we removed wallpaper he returned, found two holes in the pipe and replaced that segment. He was on time, courteous and even told me why the copper pipe had eroded. Great work at a fair price. I would use him again.

I got a notice from my village about excessive water usage so asked D&P Services to check 4 toilets in my home.  I requested a quote in the morning, they responded in less than 30 minutes with a quote of $29 for the service call and said parts would be an additional cost.  They gave me a time frame that they come that same day and arrived a little bit early, which was great!  They checked all of my toilets, clearly explained what needed to be fixed, got the parts, and fixed everything within an hour and half start to finish for a very reasonable cost.  I would highly recommend this company for your plumbing needs.

Martin came out to look a a couple of problem faucets and to give an estimate on installing a whole home water filtration system. He very nicely explained why my faucets are not only not broken but working properly and he took the time to explain why. He then gave great advice on a whole home water filtration system, being for my hone the types they install don't make sense. He referred me to an alternate vendor explaining why it would be better for my particular homem All of this was free of charge! I will gladly have Drain and Plumbing Services back again for my future plumbing needs.

I booked these guys through Yelp, and am very happy. I needed a new toilet asap, and Anna was very nice in scheduling me the next morning. My technician, Joe, was efficient and so nice to talk to. I'll call them next time, too.

Just bought a condo and had to have the garbage disposal replaced.. they came after 5 thankfully, we work all week and some other places charge more $$ to come out on Saturdays.. our disposal was replaced and unfortunately kept leaking due to a pipe that was who knows how old (not the initial part being replaced) the technician came back right away to stop the leak and then replaced the pipe for us and it has not leaked, thank you for your hard work and reasonable prices!! Very wonderful customer service as well, the ladies on dispatch were very helpful & kind. We will definitely call if we need help in the future. Thank you for your help!!

Plumber Yuri came out in -13c morning to fix my leaky shower faucet. He repaired it expertly and efficiently. He even provided advise for proper operation. Thank you DP&S I am once again very happy with service provided.

DPS was assigned to my home by American home shield. Martin the plumber came and seemed SUPER nice. Told me everything was going to be taken care of, left and I thought, wow, that was nice and easy. Boy was I wrong! He reported physical damage to my faucet and when the insurance company called me a few hours later and told me it was broken due to excessive force, I was shocked! I said, what do you mean? There is just a small drip and he said it just needed a cartridge. He said no, there is also a crack in the housing. I assured there was not and when he came. In short they work for the insurance company, get barely any money from them for the service call, so they HAVE to find ways to upcharge the client. Use someone else if you can

These guys are lifesavers! They are professional and prompt. Responsive and attentive. They saved the day quickly when first our toilets were clogged, and later our disposal. (The kids now know to keep away!)

**AVOID THIS COMPANY**
Dishonest company.  They'll tell you they don't have availability almost a week later, but then all of a sudden have an availability the next day if you're willing to pay them out of pocket rather than going through a warranty company.  Apparently they have warranty plumbers and non-warranty plumbers per Anna (one of the office staff or the owner?).

So on today, Tuesday, they send out Martin, a plumber, for a diagnostic visit.  It was going to take them few days to order the parts and to have the same guy back I was suppose to wait until next week.  Irene, office staff I suppose, advised he's first availability will be next Monday.  I agreed to it and she said she'll confirm and call back in 30min.  She calls back and all of a sudden this guy who was booked full till Monday is all of a sudden on vacation for two days and probably won't be available until next Thursday, but can't confirm until Monday.  She also could not advise what's on their own schedule, thus could not give next availability of any of their plumbers.  How convenient!  

If working with a warranty company does not make them enough money, they should not sign a contract with them.  People pay premium and charge to request service call and the vendors do get paid by the warranty company whether they think it's enough or not.  But it's something they should deal with the warranty company, but not disservice customers.  I am not happy with the home warranty company and am ready to hire my own plumber after all.  But guess who I will never hire and make sure to let everyone else know of their practice?

Drain and Plumbing Services did well on a small plumbing job when my home warranty company sent them so I decided to hire them for annual maintenance rodding of the sewer lines in and outside my home.

The service person came, and I told him that I wanted him to rod all of the sewer lines in my home and out to the street as a standard annual maintenance (we had not experienced any clogs, and had performed hydrojetting last summer).

A week and a half after the service, we noticed water seeping under the wall from a bathroom we are not currently using in the basement. We looked in the room and there was an inch of sewage covering the floor that I believe had not been there prior to Drain and Plumbing Service's visit (I had looked inside of that room as I was considering what plumbing tasks were needed in my home, and I did not see or smell any sign of sewage when I did so). I posted on a town Facebook group to check whether anyone had experienced a citywide sewage back up in the recent storms and no one replied that they had.  We also have a flood control system that's up-to-date on maintenance so a back up from the town was unlikely. Typically when the town sewage backs up there are also lots of posts about it, so I concluded the clog must be internal to our home system.

I called Drain and Plumbing Services and they sent their technician out again and he unclogged the pipe. He also said some things that I found troubling but I'm not able to post them here out of fear that the company will sue me since I can't prove that he said what he said.

I called the company and asked if they would remediate since we had drywall, framing and a concrete floor that had been soaked with sewage. Again, I can't describe the details of those conversations here without risk of legal action but I found them extremely troubling. The company did send a remediation expert out to look at my bathroom but after his visit, Drain and Plumbing Services said they were only willing to either refund the original $180 rodding fee, or to pay for disinfection, but were not willing to pay for any drywall removal. The remediation specialist confirmed that the company had said that they were not willing to pay for drywall removal. My reviews of remediation standard practice suggest that drywall that has been soaked with sewage should always be removed, and when I myself then checked the moisture content of the cement board in the walls, I found that the moisture content throughout the bottom 2 feet of plasterboard was indeed elevated, so clearly the sewage had soaked into the walls and needed to be removed from them.

It is also my impression that in order to obtain even the $180 refund or the disinfection services, I would have been required by Drain and Plumbing Services to sign a waiver saying I would not make any negative statements about the company subsequently. By posting a review, I believe that I have ensured they will not do any remediation at all, but even before I posted it seemed to me that II was faced with a choice in which I could not have the remediation done without signing away my rights to write a negative review. If the company feels that my impression was inaccurate, I would be very happy to have at least disinfection services performed, and I will happily revise this message to reflect that.

I will certainly never hire this company again and I strongly recommend that others do not do so either.

* Also, note that I first tried to post this review on Google, and even though I saved it, it did not appear there, so take with a grain of salt the higher star rating of this company in Google.

I'm new to the area, and was pleasantly impressed with the service. Very honest and explained everything to me , so I could understand what was going on. Martin was my service man and I would highly recommend them. Reasonable pricing and I would definitely use them again.

These jokers are something else. They came in on a service call from American Home Shield (which should automatically be a HUGE, BRIGHT, SHINY, GLITTERY, FLASHY RED FLAG). Plumber came in, diagnosed the problem right away, but was then told NOT to complete service (for completely unknown reasons...most likely because this was a warranty call, because these shysters would rather you pay out-of-pocket instead of going through a scam like AHS.) It amazes me how these companies work with shams like AHS, then when you offer to pay instead of using the warranty, they seem to warm up to you much quicker. I guess equal opportuniy does not apply here. If you have a warranty, then you may be SOL. If you are paying straight-up, you may be in luck, but I wouldn't even bother at that point. If a company can't be bothered to honor a contractual agreement they have with another vendor, how can you trust them to do anything for you?

The tech himself bragged about his 40 years of service, and he knew what the problem was. He explained it, but then after he called into the office about what the repair was, the lady at dispatch told him not to complete the repair. When we called to ask what was happening with the repair, we were told that the plumber was instructed NOT to complete this repair, and suddenly, availability seemed to be an issue, despite what we were initially told.

I don't blame them for anything other than having a terrible receptionist/dispatcher. The plumber just does as he is told, even if he knows exactly how to fix the problem. If the higher-ups say no, then that's that. I can't give ZERO stars (which is about how many certain letters some companies seem to give about their clients), so I give at least one extra star since I can't blame the plumber, no matter what his expertise is. If anything, it would seem management is rude, inconsiderate, clueless, tactless, and ultimately, not worth dealing with.

STAY AWAY..and if you have AHS (American Home Shield), DON'T RE-UP THE CONTRACT. You've been warned.

Everything was great. On time, stayed late to complete the work in one day. Very courteous and professional. Automatically gave us the best way to do the job, even though some parts were outside exactly what was called for.

Asked for a quote for a garbage disposal replacement around 5pm, had an estimate within 5 minutes and an appointment for the next day to replace.  They were the lowest estimate out of 4 and for sure the most responsive.  Mike was a great plumber the next day and found a small leak that I didn't know about somewhere else.  Would highly recommend.

Your response is absolutely incorrect and misleading. First of all we never received any sort of a refund for the $500 charge.  You stated you were going to send us a refund but you never did.  Secondly when you talk about the quality of your plumbers the first plumber that came out to fix our shower couldn't fix it; I fixed it. AHS covers materials and labor. You know as well as I do that this was NOT a complicated installation.  You were just trying to make a bigger profit than AHS was willing to pay you. Also, my wife signed off on the job. I wasn't home. The PVC discharge was replaced, incorrectly. Instead of face down it faces at 4:00. So much for the quality and expertise of your plumbers

I  Was thrilled with  my entire experience with this company. Not only was the service timely and professional but the price was surprisingly low. Drain and Plumbing Service will be my new go to plumbing company if and when I need them again. I highly recommend them and will be telling my friends about them.

We were referred to Drain & Plumbing Services for a job for one of our real estate clients. They scheduled us promptly, Yuri arrived exactly when promised. He even identified an additional connection needed (no additional cost for the extra fitting), fixed everything without hesitation. He was quick, pleasant, and helpful, and the pricing was very fair! We now have a new go-to plumbing service for our clients, and our own needs!

Quick response, very professional, on time. Quality seems to be good as no leaks have developed after the water heater replacement. Price was on target for a quality water heater. I highly recommend this company and will use them in the future.

Drain & Plumbing Services were quick to arrive when I had an issue with my busted water heater.  Their prices were fair and they re-worked the lines that needed to be corrected as well as installed a new water heater.  The lady in the office was friendly and accommodating.  My plumber was great - he worked quickly (did not waste time) and efficiently.  He got the job done and I have hot water once again.  I would highly recommend this company to anyone in need of plumbing work.

My sump pump broke in the middle of the night.  Anna gave me guidance on what to look for in getting service, even though they didn't have availability for me.  Very kind.  Then Anna called back in 1/2 hour to say they had a cancellation and I was able to get my flooding problem addressed.  Mike came and was great.  Efficient.  And explained things to me.  Also gave me guidance on what to watch for and certain things to do going forward.  I am so appreciative of both Anna and Mike.   And lucky I found them by chance.  Thank you.

I was looking for a service to replace valves in toilet tanks. When I submitted estimate request, Anna gave me an estimate and made the schedule right away. When Martin arrived, the first thing he did was checking conditions and explained to me what exactly needs to be done. He did great job and it was quick.

I'll ask them again when I need plumber service.

My basement flooded after the rain and we suspected a pipe leak, so I was directed to Drain & Plumbing Services by AHS warranty. I was happy at first to see that this company was rated highly on Yelp. However, after using their service, I don't think they should be rated anything greater than 1 star.

Phil, the plumber, came out to our house in 2 days. By that time, we were able to find an abandon pipe and cap it temporarily. When he showed up, we explained the situation. Our sump pump drained water into sewage line and for some reason, it backed up and water was coming out from the abandon pipe. He applauded us for capping the pipe because he said he would have done the same thing. When we asked him if he thought this would be enough and if he thought there were any issues with the main sewage line, he said that capping the abandon pipe would solve the problem and that it was unlikely our sewage pipe was clogged. He said if we wanted to put a camera inside to make sure, we would have to call the office and make another appointment and it wasn't covered by the insurance.

After a few days, it rained again, and our basement flooded even worse than last time. The toilet on the first floor also flooded. I called them and left them a message to call back (they never call back by the way). Since they closed on the weekends, we had no choice but to call an emergency plumber that same day. The plumber from another company rodded our main sewage pipe, which was the main reason for the flood; they could only rod 100ft but our main pipe was 140 ft long, so they recommended to put a camera inside to see if there would be any other issues. The other company quoted $145 for the camera but Drain & Plumbing Services wanted $250.

When I called AHS warranty because I noticed an extra trade fee charge, they told me that someone named Anna from Drain & Plumbing Service told them that it wasn't a plumbing problem. I had it written out by Phil on my receipt that our pipe leaks,etc, so if this wasn't a plumbing issue, then I don't know what is. Anyway, I called the office myself and a male picked up. He said he had to send someone out to 'determine if this was a plumbing issue,' and he'd send Matt, their best plumber, out in 2 days. (Seriously?)

Matt came and I told him what happened. He looked around for a few minutes and said he would recommend a whole clean out from outside but he has to check with my insurance to see if they would pay for it. He said someone from the office would call me that day and tell me if the insurance would pay for it or not; If not, they would still call me and give me a quote to see if I still wanted to pay it myself. It's been almost a week, and still no phone call from the company. The only call I got was the following Monday (he came on a Wed) from AHS and the AHS told me that it doesn't cover it. The AHS rep told me that Drain & Plumbing Services told AHS that they spent 2 hours at my place (totally lie--at most was 10 minutes each plumber).

After I hired the other company to put a camera in, they found that I need to replace the entire pipe, so a clean out would do me no good. I don't think they are professional or good. I would recommend other companies if you can help it.

Plumber was on time, professional and quick ! Got the job done in under 2 hours and for a third of the price of other companies!

These guys are great. Had a problem with the assembly of the faucet and they came back out at no charge. Very friendly and fairly punctual given the hectic nature of schedules in this type of business. Will definitely bookmark them for any future work!

During this time, I was especially nervous about having someone come to our home.  Well, this company will drain those fears away!!  From the minute I spoke with Anna at the office to make the appointment, I found a friend, and she went out of her way to be sure I was taken care of for our leak, and with a friendly, calming, genuine concern.  When our plumber Yaroslav arrived, we were blown away by his ability to walk in (with mask and gloves and booties) and immediately take charge to fix the problem flawlessly with care and a take charge knowledge - we loved him!!  We were in awe.  He too, went out of his way to make us happy in every way when we asked - he's just a great plumber, and a great guy!!  Call these people - you will not be sorry.  What a nice experience during this crazy time we are in - so appreciated - when my husband told him about the leak he came out to fix during our unsuccessful toilet installation attempt, he saw that my husband felt bad and told him he was a good plumber - made his day, and made us laugh and we now will not go elsewhere!  Just use them!!!

We had an emergency with a toilet overflow and contacted Drain & Plumbing Services. The person who answered my call was courteous as she listened to my issues. After being on hold for about 30 seconds, she notified me that a plumber would be coming and gave me a very reasonable window of time as to when he would appear. The service provider arrived on time, diagnosed the problem and gave me an estimate and said he could do the work immediately. After authorization, he completed the repair timely and at the estimated cost. He explained the problem and what he did to fix the problem and was professional and courteous at all times. I would strongly recommend Drain & Public Services to anyone in need of plumbing services.

I had a backed up sewer line that had to be rodded at 3 pm. I called around to a lot of plumbing services and DPS was the only provider willing to come out same day without doubling the charge. They were fairly priced, responsive, and easy to deal with. I will definitely be using them again in the future if I need plumbing services locally.

Unfortunately I was told I needed to replace my entire ejector pump within minutes of the initial visit, but it was working! It is clear after some simple research that all that was needed was a new switch (20 dollars versus 600).

I called because I was not an expert, but felt taken advantage of instead. Wish I could get back my 95 dollars for the visit.

We had a very slow house drain (to the street) the day after Christmas with a houseful of people.  D&PS came right out and fixed the issue in under an hour. Very reasonable rate....pleasant to work with.  We will us them again!

Stay away from this company. Don't trust them. They came to my house on July 9, 2019 and said my pipe is frozen lol it it's 90 degrees outside how can my pipe be frozen and currently working? They don't know what they are doing. Stay away.

Easy to work with and professional. They respond quickly too. I requested an estimate, signed contract, they requested permit, scheduled installation, installed and I paid online. All without ever speaking or seeing them. I'm glad Yelp made this possible for someone like me with a busy schedule.

Terrible experience. I scheduled an appointment through AHS warranty for a pipe leak. No one showed up during the window. I called and they claim someone has been here, but neither my wife and me didn't hear any door bell. On the same call they say i have to agree to pay $380 extra to them before they will come.

We had slow drain of bathtub problem. And I called them up. The lady who took my call was nice and friendly. And the plumber came out to fix the clog issue. I really appreciated.  But the water leaking started after the fixing. And the leakage went down to first floor aparment ceiling. Now we have to spend extra to fixing ceiling downstairs for the neighbour am not sure if plumber did some to cause the leaking, or another new problem. But it didn't happen until plumber came for the clog issue. So I have to call them again to come out find out what cause the leakage. Hope it is not their fault. The plumber will come today which is Thursday. And I will keep post the real cause of leaking. That is my experience with this company. This is my first time experience with them. I can give rating now. I have to wait to see the real cause of leaking , and then I can rate.

Great dealing with this company!  Our home warranty company referred us to them regarding our kitchen faucet.  When I explained the situation to Anna, she suggested to pick out a faucet ahead of time, and her technician will pick it up in case it needs to be replaced.  Sure enough, it did...so only one visit was needed and we have a great new faucet installed in a very short amount of time.  Johnny did a great job, and was very polite.

Michael and the whole staff here were wonderful to work with.  They came out quickly and did great work.  The staff kept me informed and up to date on warrantee information and replacement timeline.  Their prices were more than fair and they tried to save me money when they could.  I would highly recommend.

Drain and plumbing services has provided numerous services for me in the recent months including repairing a burst pipe, scoping our sewer line, rodding out our sewer line, and repairing a sump pump malfunction to name a few. I have been very impressed with their quick communication via the yelp app along with quickly scheduling their services. Austin assisted with a number of these fixes and was extremely diligent and helpful along with Mike on some other recent fixes. I will continue to work with them and would recommend drain and plumbing to others as well.

Reading some of the reviews on here now makes so much sense. It is companies like these that give plumbers a bad name. I contacted my insurance AHS for a backed up main. Plumber from another company came out and rodded from our toilet out to our flood control pit. Unfortunately there was still back up in the back area laundry room from our drain line that leads to the catch basin in back. So AHS called Drain & Plumbing Services to come out. The guy they sent hardly spoke English that's no problem but I think he wasn't understanding what I was trying to explain. He didn't rod from the drain to the catch basin but from the laundry drain to the front flood control again. Then said he said he ran into foreign objects and  picked up his tools. Had Anna on the phone telling us he had to stop all service and left. No problem I understand there are procedures with AHS and that I requested the service and they sent out the available contractor of their choosing. So before the snobby response from Drain & Plumbing company makes on here since I've read a few reviews and responses just know that only because I'm using my insurance does not give you the right to provide subpar service. My family runs a plumbing company for the past 20 plus years and I am knowledgeable and have also worked in the past with AHS. I pay a service to AHS specifically for situations like this. So Drain & Plumbing left with no resolution leaving a mess to top it off. The icing on the cake was their report to AHS that they pulled a RUG out of my drain. This unscrupulous company lied to my insurance and tried to get away with it. Please think twice before hiring in the future and make sure to read the reviews but more importantly the tone of their responses. Customers are not first here I'm glad not a single one of my dollars came out of pocket to this company. Oh and I also wish you nothing but the best in the future, as you like to end your responses on here.

I cannot give enough praise for DPS.  We had a real plumbing emergency (broken pipe where it exits the house) and got 3 quotes.  These guys arrived within hours of our call (which was after 5 PM), and their estimate  came in a few hundred to a thousand dollars less than the other two. We thought the man that came out (Florin) very professional and he seemed to know what he was talking about so we signed on.  The company was excellent!  It turned out we had more sewage issues than we thought, but they carefully explained things and we did NOT feel exploited by the added expense (which still came in under Roto-rooter's quote without the additional work). They always called or texted before they came out and showed up on time.   After calling many plumbing companies through the years, we now have a plumber for life!

Was very happy with the service. Martin was the person who came out for the estimate and he was very knowledgeable plus helpful. Answers all our question, most likely we will go with them to replace our water heater.  Would recommend to anyone.

They were very friendly and responsive. I asked how much it would be, and Anna said $29 to come out and take a look and $165 per hour when the work started, (and the $29 would go toward the work, she claimed, which it never did) so plumber came out and after about 30 minutes said it would be $500, we assumed it would be 3 hours of work at $165 per hour, well after the call, he came back that night ( I have tenants, so I was not there, but had my tenants check timing etc) and he worked around 1.5 hours, and was done, and charged us $500, so essentially the $29 service call was more like $247 service call. I don't mind paying for a service but I hate being ripped off, which is what they did.

We have some gas leaks in our house and our home warranty company, AHS, assigned Drain and Plumbing Services to come out to see what work needed to be done. Martin from Drain and Plumbing Services came out and was very professional and pleasant. He let us know that one issue was likely a fireplace valve and would not be covered under warranty and we discussed how it would be best to resolve that issue and were looking forward to having him come back and do the work for us. The second issue, however, according to Martin would require a lot of work to bring our plumbing up to code. And Martin told us that their company is a small shop and not likely able to handle the job. He said it would likely have to be reassigned to another company who had more manpower and could do the work. So when Martin left, we were under the understanding that we would hear back from Drain and Plumbing Services about scheduling the work to be done for our fireplace valve (for which we would be paying ourselves) and about the reassignment of the other work to a new organization.

Two days passed and we didn't hear anything so my husband called to follow up. The phone rang about 30 times before he finally got through to some woman's voice mail (which sounded like a personal voice mail) and he left a message. She never returned his call. He called Drain and Plumbing Services again today, another two business days since his last message, and finally got through to someone. According to this woman, she didn't have any notes about the fireplace valve work that we were supposed to have had done and she said that our home warranty company was supposed to have contacted us about the other work because they would not approve the work to be done.

My husband then called our home warranty company. Turns out that Drain and Plumbing Services did not file the work order properly with them and put it all as work needed to bring our plumbing up to code, which is not true. So AHS tried calling Drain and Plumbing Services directly in order to get an estimate from them about how much of the work was to fix the issues (the leaks) vs how much of the work was to bring the plumbing up to code. Drain and Plumbing Services would not provide AHS with this information and so AHS has now assigned our work to a different plumber.

So, while we were very impressed with Martin who came out to evaluate the work, we have been extremely disappointed with the complete lack of follow-through and zero sense of customer service from their office. They have left ushanging with no contact for a week now and all efforts on our part to try to contact them have been difficult and unprofessional. I would not in any way recommend this company to anyone considering having work done on their home, especially if it is in any way time consuming or difficult.

No, we are not at all upset with our home warranty company. We are upset with DRAIN AND PLUMBING for their complete lack of customer service and for completely abandoning us for the work that we were planning to pay for out of our own pocket.

Our home warranty company ended up assigning our issue to a new vendor who then had a different approach to a resolution which was completed at 100% by the Home warranty company.

Drain and Plumbing should be ashamed at how they treated us and even more so for their response to my review in their attempt at trying to twist my words to make them look innocent. Shame on you!!!

Martin went above and beyond to replace my ejector pump. He is professional and knowledgeable and I highly recommend his service.  He was efficient and explained the situation and how to repair clearly.

Nothing grosser than a sewer line backing up.  From the initial call for an appointment to the repair phase, Drain and Plumbing Services were outstanding in their delivery.  Phil was a pro, very knowledgeable and personable.  He investigated the problem, offered a solution, an estimated cost and info on future sewer line maintenance.  Within in an hour, he had rodded out the sewer line, flow was restored and I no longer had to be in water conservation mode.  On the day of the appointment, I received several texts from the office, an appointment reminder, a notification that the tech was on his way along with this name (Phil), and a phone call from Phil estimating his arrival time.  I felt like the company valued my time. Drain and Plumbing Services is now in my contact list and I would recommend them.

I am updating my review with Drain and Plumbing Services at their request.  They did not resolve my toilet leak as AHS sent us another person who solved the problem.  Phil sure had me very nervous about needing a pipe replacement.  All was a miscommunication between Phil and I in terms of submitting a new claim for AHS on the pipe.  I'm glad my problem has been resolved without having to replace/repair the pipe.

So Far we are very satisfied with the plumbing Job that was done by Drain and Plubing services.  The plumber that came to the house was very professional and very courteous.  I would call them again if we have other plumbing problems.

Such a friendly, reliable, and quality company....it was a pleasure dealing with everyone.  Anna is super understanding and accommodating and completely worked around our schedule, sending a plumber out on a day's notice the second time around.  She goes above and beyond to meet her customers' needs.  Johnny is also very personable and knowledgeable and thorough.  He went to great lengths to ensure that our leak was fixed, and achieved perfect results.  You are definitely in good hands with this company.  When it comes to customer service and good work, you cannot get any better!  Thank you!

called dps because we had a clog and could not use our kitchen sink.They arrived on 4/8/2019 and kept looking around,i said what are you looking for,they said the crawl space,i told them we don't have a crawl space we are on a slab,he kept looking there has to be a crawl space,by than I was ready to tell him to get the hell out.and than all of a sudden he said there is no crawl space.I won't go into detail but told him what I thought of him,about not believing me that there wasn't any.well they finally got it fixed and unclogged,but he mentioned about 4 to 5 times I don't know if we can fix it,I thought what the hell is that about.The final price was 360.00 to do the rodding,which I thought was kind of high,he also had to go to a hardware store because they mangled  one of the pipes and had to put a new one in.I am hesitant to tell people to go to your company,because of the uncertainty of the plumber and his remarks.but the price was high for what he did.
