This company did a wonderful job of rodding out my backed up sewer.  Reasonable price.  They also recommended additional repair work, (waiting for the quote via e-mail) showed me a picture of corroded coper vent pipe.  Excellent clean-up after work.  Stopped by my house within an hour of my call.  Workers were polite and well groomed.  I wish I had known about this company years ago.

In short, I stand by my review below!  Still the same excellent dude.
Also responds promptly through his answering service, and it's never a big scheduling issue to get him out.
NOTE: he doesn't want to do big remodeling jobs.  If you're just switching stuff out, or have repairs, he's your guy.  But check with him, you know?
PS: I ordered stuff from Algor plumbing in Cicero.  I get the discount since I'm working with a plumber & you can tell Pekny has serious cred at this place.

Had received a quote from another plumber for my cabin in Three Oaks.  Thought it was somehwat high so decided to get a second quote before proceeding...so glad I did!  Not only was Goodman lower but my experience from initial call to on-site completion was top-notch on all.  Nick (owner) took time to explain the issues and even though they ran into an unexpected on-site issue (I actually had a 120v water heater versus a 220v), he was able to pivot immediately and get a new unit in and install it the very next morning in time for guests arriving following day.   Could not recommend this company enough - just an honest, efficient, professional small business that always make sure they have a happy and satisifed customer whatever it takes.  Thanks to Goodman team and will be recommending you to all the other owners at Lakeside Cabins!

Bob always does a terrific job for us. He has done all the plumbing for our bathroom remodel, kitchen remodel, taken care of our clogged drains, banging pipes, run the line/hooked up our natural gas grill and even rodded our sewer line.
His sense of urgency and attention to detail is unmatched.

We needed help with removing our toilet and replacing the wax ring, but we didn't have the tool to cut a rusty screw. They were quick to respond to my initial call and flexible with coming later the following day when my husband was home from work. They arrived on time and were done very quickly, at an affordable price. Both men were polite, friendly, and social. We will definitely be saving their number for future needs!

I contacted Gus about a couple of minor repairs and we scheduled a time on Thursday. However Gus texted me on Wednesday and asked if he could come a day early to complete the work! When does a repair person ever ask to come early?!

Anyway, Gus came and completed the work quickly and results were spot on. I would recommend, and will definitely use him for additional work in the future!

Jesse is an amazing plumber!! Bought a fixer-upper and he did a meticulous job re-plumbing the entire house--there was no detail left undone and with his full knowledge and explanation as well as his pricing I could not have been more comfortable entrusting him with this huge undertaking--I might also add, I am somewhat fussy and he was immaculate in his work habits:))

I have never had more immediate, knowledgeable, compassionate service from any home repair professional. I called at 8:30 PM--PM!!!--because we sprung a leak in our upstairs master bath.  It had already filled the light fixture on the first floor and leaked to the basement.  We couldn't turn off the water source because we were afraid if we forced it too much, it would totally pop off.  Mike called us back (thank you) and even though he was clearly tired and had hauled, carried and installed three water heaters that day, he said he would come and at least turn off the water supply.  He didn't just come.  He was able to fix it.  He also recommended a company to come in and help us with the water remediation on the multiple floors.  Still need to have the plumbing reinstalled but I will definitely call Mike and Badger when the insurance gets rolling...

Well the 2,200.00 quote was way off. 30 yrs in the service business I never quoted some b/s to a customer. 4 season came out and laughed at what I told him was wrong. 550.00 later all done ‍

The plumber was efficient, knowledgable, and nice. The two problems with my sink seemed to be fixed but a couple months later one issue returned (reduced cold water pressure). They came back, discovered the root cause (a coil thing that kinked up over time), replaced another part and did not charge me. I appreciate that they guarantee their work. The guy who came the second time was also very nice and knowledgable and he spent a lot of time investigating the mystery cause of the problem.

Santa left us presents under the tree and he must of eaten too many cookies and milk as he left us with a very clogged toilet.  

We were surprised to find out not only was Roto-rooter open on Christmas Day but there was no extra charge to fix our problem

Danny gave us a service window from 2 to 4 and was on site at 3pm.  Danny assessed the problem gave us a very competitive price.  He had everything repaired and cleaned within a hour .  

We were very happy and we would recommend this service to friends and family .

Public Plumbers was referred to us by a trusted professional in the plumbing business when we discovered a gas leak in our house. This was an emergency situation and they came out within an hour of calling. They were very professional and thorough! It took a long time because they were being very careful and making sure they got every leak. I was expecting a gigantic bill but it was reasonable, given the situation. Peoples Gas came back out to assess and said the plumbers did a great job- we got our gas turned back on. I highly recommend this business!
