All the 24 hour emergency numbers I called including this one is a joke! All I got was either no answers or leave a message after the beep or my three workers are out in other jobs or give me your number and someone will call you back later and this one --- let me shoot off an email to the plumbing dept and someone will get back to you!!!
24 hour emergency should mean right now and not later or next week.
Guys. Take off the 24 hour emergency statement from your advertisement. It doesn't work!!!!
I reached out to a Professional Plumber company working with Homedepot'', each time they sent different technicians and they were unable to fix the issue due to the difficulties of the job even I paid ER fees. Lots of excuses each time when their technicians show up, which made me waited a whole week without hot water.
Then I reached to Go-rooters team, within 3 days from the assessment to completion, they successfully helped me replaced my old water heater nice and tidy. Due to the space constraints, it's very difficult to move the 120-150 lbs water tank from the first floor to the second floor, but they made it and did a great job. Now the new water heater works perfectly. I would definitely highly recommend and would use them for future jobs.

Juan at Go-Rooter was beyond terrific in our most recent winter storm. We called Go-Rooter twice in a week for separate emergency issues. Juan came in person the first time and sent a very skilled crew (Ivan and Javier) the second time. Both visits were fast, professional, and knowledgeable. I'm especially grateful that we were able to get such an immediate response during a time when most 24-hour plumbers were too swamped with frantic customer calls to answer ours. Juan and his team were very professional and timely. My toilet was acting up, and I actually had another company come over to assess the issue. They were not able to, so I called Go-Rooter.
Juan and team came over on time and figured out what was wrong. That was several months and I haven't had any issues since. I'd turn to them again for any plumbing needs.
Excellent service, great value. The plumbers were efficient, courteous and responsive. They rodded the sewer via the clean out in my front yard. They worked hard to get rid of the root clogging the pipe using hydro cleaning. I was very happy with their work. I highly recommend this company.
I called Go Rooter because of a leaky faucet. I've used them before and have been pleased with their work. After checking out the problem, their plumber told me it was a faulty cartridge that would need to be replaced, and the charge would be $384 for labor and material. More than a little shocked at the price he quoted, I asked him how much the part was, to which he replied $68. So, I said, incredulously, you want over $300 to switch out the cartridge? Well, he replied, you have to know what you're doing. Wait, what!!?? I need to find a new plumber from now on....anyone out there know how to change a faucet cartridge?
I'm a billboard at this point, but Juan is the only plumber I will go to as long as he is around. He gives me honest advice and tells me what I need to do and what I could do. He also stands by his work completely and if something doesn't work after he leaves, he comes back to make sure it is done right. Do not hesitate to call them
Alex's team came out and gave me a quote to replace a leaky spigot, their invoicing system gave me grief only because the notice kept popping up as a past due payment which was incorrect because the finished work was not completed yet. Other than that, Manny did a great job replacing the spigot, he removed the smallest amount of ceiling drywall to modify existing pipping to accommodate the new spigot.
I would recommend then for any plumbing needs.
Ivan and Pedro came out literally 20 mins after I called and unclogged a flooded basement. Fast, efficient and professional. They have all the right tools and professionalism for any job. Highly recommended. Fair price too.

Can't recommend this company enough! We had an emergency plumbing issue and they were incredibly responsive and available to fix the job within a reasonable timeframe. They were also super communicative throughout the entire process. They will be our go-to from here on out.
After checking Yelp reviews, gave Juan a call to get a quote on replacing my garbage Disposal. Since I'd already purchased the unit from Home Depot and saw Juan's $40 discount coupon, he quoted me $285 total for the job. The next day at 8:30 AM he sent a two man crew and they finished the job in a little more than an hour. Complete cleanup and courteous service at a fair price. I'll use these guys again if I need plumbing work done.
I rarely write reviews but Juan and his team needed an immediate 5 star review because of how great they were. They arrived 30 mins earlier than the anticipated arrival time, diagnosed the problem quickly, were transparent and very reasonable about pricing, but more importantly they cleared a blockage from our condo building that two other plumbing services were unable to clear so quickly. I will definitely be using their services again.
Alex and his team was flexible in finding a date/time that worked for our schedules. We had commercial building with a very high water bill for the past year. Alex visited the basement and all the tenants' sinks and toilets. It ended up being a broken flap in the toilet tank on one of the floors that has not been occupied since the pandemic started - literally the water was going down the drain nonstop. We will find out if this was the issue in a couple of months when I get the next water bill, but I will be asking for Alex again if I have any other plumbing issues.

So apparently, the not so warm weather is causing all sorts of plumbing issues around the city - go figure!
When my toilet started to leak out of the blue, I panicked. I knew that my building didn't have weekend maintenance, but I didn't know how much worse this could possibly get. I called just about every highly-rated plumbing service I could. All of which were pleasant, helpful, and super swamped! When I originally called Go-Rooter, I was told there was a 4-hour window for someone to come out, but Juan was at my door in less than an hour. That is what I call emergency service!
Unfortunately, my toilet is an ancient relic and any repairs I would need wouldn't be able to be done until the next day. By that time, my building's maintenance guy will be back on the clock, so I will opt to use him. However, I wanted to publicly note how quickly Go-Rooter and Juan responded to an emergency situation and how his explanation of my issue helped me to make it make sense to my own maintenance man. I'm going to cross my fingers and hope for the best, but Juan's card will be close and should I need a plumbing issue handled, I would absolutely call again!

I had a leaking garbage disposal that was installed incorrectly by another company. Go rooter responded very quickly to my call and fixed the problem almost immediately . We had Juan come out and install a utility sink on short notice (and a holiday weekend as well). We called the day before and he came out to look at the area and see what tools and equipment he would need. Juan arrived early the next day and while he only thought the job would take a few hours, it turned into almost a full day affair. Juan never complained and still came in on budget.
Juan and his apprentice were awesome. Juan took the time to explain things to us; he was patient with our indecision on where our sink should go; and he went above and beyond installing a washer that was on our to do list. He was kind, courteous, and above all - professional.
Having worked with numerous contractors recently, Juan was a breath of fresh air. We are so glad that we went with Juan at Go Rooter that Juan is our first call for additional plumbing projects we have in the works. I would highly recommend him.

Juan and team did an amazing job hooking up our clawfoot tub. I thought I could remove the old drain and do it myself, hours later, sweaty and frustrated I threw in the towel and emailed Go Rooter. They responded in 10 mins. They were here within hours and the job was done in no time. I should have called them first.
The price was right, the work was perfect. Juan even called me back a few days later to make sure there were no leaks and I was happy. Couldn't have been more satisfied.

These guys are amazing! I had a small leak coming from my kitchen faucet. I called them on Saturday and they showed up the same day. They fixed the leak on the spot and were incredibly reasonable. They explained everything very thoroughly and were very professional and nice. I will definitely use them again for any future plumbing needs. 5++++ starts!
I can't say enough good things about Go-Rooter. When our pipes froze on this historically cold day in Chicago (-20 deg/-45 wind chill) they arrived in 30 minutes to take care of the problem. They were personable, professional, and spoke in terms we could understand. I felt like they really knew what they were talking about and their rates were totally fair. The problem needed to be resolved the day of my call (tenant unit)
Of all the 24/7 plumber service reviews, Go-Rooter reviews convinced me. To my disappointment, three hours later, I received a call back.
Polite answering service takes your information. Next, be prepared for the possibility of waiting three hours for a call back.
My problem was time sensitive: I called back twice. First time, just to get a sense of when someone would call me to explain the problem. Second time to find out if they would be able to dispatch someone today (because if their swamped with work I need to find another company).
Answering service only forwards the message. 3 hours later I got a call but I had retained another company. Simply prepare for the possibility of a 3 hour wait for a call back. Have a plan B.
These guys are literally life saviors. A few days ago, I smelled gas coming out of the connection with my cooktop but I couldn't detect a leak. So I reached out to another company and they came and said nothing was wrong even though it was stated they could smell gas. So I then reached out to my gas company and they sent someone who pointed out a few different leaks in my pipe. I then frantically tried to find someone who could come out the same day to address. I made a call to Go Rooter and within 3 hours, a technician was out to my house and fixed my issue. I'm so thankful for the quick work. The technician took the time to explain what he did which I appreciated. I will definitely be keeping this company in mind in the future!
Came within time frame (it was an emergency call after 8pm) and was able to fix problem on the spot. Will use them again.

If you have any other plumber on your phone go ahead and delete it... I've been using a neighborhood plumber who I now know was a rip off cuz of the service Go Rooter gives... These guys came out and didn't leave until they knew what the problem was and fixed it... They explained what was happening and solved a really big problem for me, oh and yes best price... they don't just rod ur sewers, they do it over and over until the line is 100% clear and clean.... I will never call anyone else..... GREAT JOB BOYS!!!!!!

Juan came out in 90 minutes for a completely stopped up shower drain. He was the second opinion after another plumber refused to so much as touch the system with a rod without making a $1200 and 5-hour repair to our (admittedly awful) overflow system.
Juan got the job done in 15 minutes. I'm probably calling him back to make some other nagging fixes to the tub.

These guys were great, couldn't have had a better response. We had a sudden clogged drain from our hvac condenser and it caused a backup in our utility room and the nearby carpet, so we needed something fast. We placed a lot of requests that night and Alex from Go Rooter was the first to call us back. The same-day emergency charge was steep ($180) but worth getting it handled immediately. Alex was super friendly, explained the issue, how to prevent it, and didn't mind our dog! They offer a 30 day warranty on their work, although I'm not sure what exactly that covers.

Juan is responsive and more than fair. He came at 8PM when our ejector pump failed and stayed until 11PM to get it done. It was not a pleasant task, but he did it well and with a good attitude. I called him again to figure out a mysterious leak, and in two seconds he saw that it was coming from the furnace humidifier. We have to call the HVAC people for that. Since he doesn't work on furnace equipment, he didn't even charge us!

Highly recommended. I had giant grease clog that was backing water up into my tenants apartment. Had a few plumbing companies drop by to find and fix it but none could figure out the issue and one even had a malfunctioning auger. Good thing i found Juan on Yelp and found the source of problem. He even provided me a temporary fix. The repairs was a little pricy but reasonable and honest and if they promise the issue will be resolved in 2-3 days they mean it. I also have to compliment them on their cleaness and willingness to take the trash out. Other places I've used would leave trash all over the place for me to clean. Without a doubt Go rooter will be my go to place for plumbing from now on.
After waiting a full day for another company to even respond to give an estimate for a malfunctioning water heater, Juan from Go-Rooter came out within 25 minutes. Then came back the next day to complete the work and did a great job. Price may be a bit on the higher side, but with an issue like this (being without hot water for 2 full days), the timely service and quality was definitely worth it for me. I think I've found a new local plumbing company I can trust, contact them with confidence.

My plumber was Juan Zarate - great communication skills, prompt, and knew what he was doing. I had an issue when Juan finished the job because of some shoddy work that was done by a separate plumber, and Juan came back (twice!) without hesitation. Great service. Thank you.
Juan is fast, reliable and does good work. He checks back in often to make sure that you are totally satisfied. He did an amazing jump installing our new sink and vanity and even corrected a bad job someone else (not from his company) did installing our back gate.

Really good service! I called them after a no-show issue from another company. Someone came within 2 hours in a rainy day. The one speaking to me on the phone was really nice and patient. I had a fridge pipe leaking issue. Although after checking, I should find a appliance service instead of a plumber service, they didn't charge me anything, and gave me a contact info of an appliance company. I will definitely come back to you next time!
Very happy with my experience! They came the same day and at the time they said they would. Juan was friendly, professional, quoted me a price ahead of time and unclogged my toilet quickly ( a friend's kid had dropped a metal lid in there and I just couldn't reach it). Completely flawless service today-- called first thing, got someone out within the hour. Diagnosed the problem and called me with diagnosis within 30
Minutes of arriving! And they even helped my tenant identify the inflow so that we could have water temporarily stopped while we sorted the rest of it out, which actually turned out to be a problem with the fridge and not the plumbing! Would gladly recommend any day!
Emergency situation at my rental property. I was hesitant to search for a handyman using yelp. I called Go Rooter and Juan was amazing. I was able to set up an appointment for same day service. Very knowledgeable individual I will use this company again.

We had frozen pipes from the Polar Vortex and it turned out to be a nightmare, as we also discovered the wrong size pipes were run through out the lower level apartment, so there was no water to the 2nd floor apartment as well. Juan and Ivan came out the same we called. They started the next day. They ran new water lines from the main line and we just can't say enough about they're professionalism and excellent quality workmanship. As a homeowner discovering everytime i did laundry the drain is backing up is horrible . After calling 2 different plumbers. I finally found go rooters on google i contacted them in the evening and they had given me a call within an hour after filling out a form online. They sent out a tech name Juan he came and looked at everything he told me all of my options before doing any work . After he was finished he checked the drain himself to make sure everything was okay. I am glad i called them .
I had my first cause for calling a plumber in my condo unit -- a basic back-up of my bathtub drain. I tried cleaning it myself, but to no avail, and it was getting substantially worse by the day. I called Go Rooter on a Sunday for a quote, and they were straight-forward about the price and made it easy to schedule the next day while accommodating my work schedule (that was NOT the case for others I called). Juan took care of my drain with professionalism and a warm personality! Will definitely call again when in need!
Best experience!!! I had a crisis in my home and Go Rooter came to my home immediately and it was late at night. I received an excellent assessment of my home disaster and a very reasonable price. My work was completed in one day! And I had major damage from a water heater that flooded the upstairs and collapsed my kitchen ceiling downstairs big time. Go-Rooter was great to us - especially Alex. He came out quickly and helped us fix a problem with our ejector pump that had caused serious flooding. They pointed us in the right direction in terms of how to handle the clean-up and repair. They came back a second time and didn't charge us. It was fairly obvious that I was clueless about plumbing and they were patient and helped make sure we understood the root of the problem and the associated costs.

Juan and team were great! I had a backed up drain in the basement that water was coming out from. I called Juan and he was able to come over within an hour. Very reasonably priced, very professional and very thorough! I will be calling Juan again w/ any other plumbing issues.

Thought I had an issue with the bathtub where the water was draining slowly. Juan was prompt with his responses and coordinated with my tenant to set up an estimate. It ended up being a non-issue that a plunger couldnt fix and he was kind enough not to even charge! 100% will use in the future.
Juan has saved the day for me many times. He's super quick to respond and very easy to communicate with. Juan and his team have helped me with small projects like changing faucets and repairing drains and some very large ones like sewer line repair between my house and the street and leaking gas lines. Hands down BEST customer service I have EVER experienced! We had a major backup in our kitchen and within 45mins (not even!) he arrived and knew what the problem was by me just explaining my issue. He is VERY knowledgeable and wasn't pushy with services and up-charging. He finished the job quickly, efficiently and even tested the sink and dishwasher to make sure I was happy with his work. Great service, came quickly to our house to fix the sink. They were very professional and left the place very clean. The sink is working perfectly so I recommend on this company!
Spoke with Juan during an emergency and within an hour Alex was onsite. Though he wasn't able to fix the problem because it was a building problem, he did diagnose the fix and also checked in to see if we needed more help the following day. This is your company if you want honest work and a company that follows up and stands behind their work. Also, they only charged me for a service call rather than inflate the price with a temporary fix. Use them, we plan to if anything else comes up in the future.
These guys are fabulous! I had a toilet emergency at our business location and gave them a call since they were close by. They were here within 15 minutes and fixed the problem fast. Had an emergency with a tub that wouldn't drain in a new house that we just moved into the day before (other bathroom was out of commission being remodeled). Called and Junior was at our place within an hour. Turned out it was just a minor issue that we weren't aware of because of our unfamiliarity with the house. I requested a quote in several companies and Go Rooter was the one who replied back quickly and provided the lowest estimate amongst all. Also, I went through the other reviews and decided to give this company a shot. I needed a new water heater to get installed and scheduling the service with them. Same day they came over and finished the work efficiently. i found them very friendly, prompt and intelligent. They were very cheerful and charged me a very less price. Couldn't get happier. Highly recommended.

Last Saturday morning I discovered a leak under my kitchen sink. There was a hole in the garbage disposal. I called Juan and he was at my home in approximately an hour to provide a quote. He was able to complete the job the same day. He's very professional and efficient.

As homeowners, one of our worst fears is returning home to find that we have sprung a leak- your sump pump quit, or your water heater has become a decorative piece in your basement and your water is no longer hot and is leaking, or your bathtub won't empty for the last 5 days. Then comes an even bigger fear-having to contact the please God don't let him screw me too bad plumber from the telephone book. Friends, those days are over!
