Best Plumbing Services in United States
Our water heater broke yesterday. No hot water and there was some flooding in the garage. I'm so glad I called Active Plumbing this morning and spoke to Majid. He came out a few hours later and replaced our water heater. Such a relief that it was taken care of right away. Majid was professional, efficient, and did an excellent job. If I ever have any plumbing needs again, he'll be the first person I call. Thanks, Majid!

I have increased the stars from 2 to 4 stars. The handyman eventualy did show up and he did the job quickly and for a good price. Too bad he was 3 1/2 hours late but I guess better late than never.

I will come and change the review if it turns out that I was wrong but MAN!
I made an appointment to have a toilet leak fixed. Not only had he not shown up on time (or at all) but when I called 2 1/4 hours later it was obvious that he wasn't going to come unless I had called him.
I have guests coming in from out of town and I need the toilet to work and he responded to me with a, Oh, do you want me to come and look at it now?
DUH DUDE, the toilet isn't going to fix itself. I am sorry that you got bogged down on another job, you could have called me and let me know that you weren't going to make it instead of blowing me off.
He said that he was on his way...we will see.

Amer has been doing plumbing at my house for several years. I highly recommend him. He is not only the most reasonable plumber I've come across, but he's also very professional, always reliable and just a good person. I have an old house, with old pipes and have had several issues over the years, he's always taken care of any problems I've had promptly. I completely trust him!

Very bad experience with this company. On the phone, she said no service charge, and free quote on Rinnai repair. Finally the technician charged $245 to just give a quote $6000 to replace two units. It is too ridiculous to get a Inv. $175. Avoid this company, not only a joke, basically it is scam. I would give minus star if I could.

Mike Counsil Plumbing contacted me quickly, scheduled a technician to come to my home to see the water heater, and answered my questions about the various water heater options. The technician gave me a no-surprises estimate before he started the work. Mike Counsil uses highly rated water heaters. They did an excellent job on the install, I was happy to get a competitive price which also included the permit. A very professional company and their GM, Patty, was very helpful!

I had to have some major plumbing done in our front yard. (Connection to the lateral). Bell was very responsive when it came to the work being done. The team was sharp and knowledgeable. Admittedly, they are a bit pricier than some other plumbing companies but I knew the job would get done right the first time and I was willing to pay that slight extra-maybe 5-10%-to have a professional job done. They also left the job neat and clean. I have used the numerous times with the same good results. A plumbing company with using.

I'm a little late with my review but i still needed to respond. My garbage disposal went kerplunk on me. I found this company in Yelp and they were able to come out the same day and within 30 mins i had a new disposal. They also honored the Yelp discount that was displayed. Great customer service as well.

We had an excellent experience with Chuck and highly recommend him. Chuck is easy to communicate with, polite, straightforward, knowledgeable, and honest. The task was relatively small, but Chuck was more than willing to accommodate us. We will use Chuck in the future without hesitation.

Fernando, Bulmaro, and Julio were the contractors that helped prepare my condo to be move-in ready and they did an amazing job. They repainted the walls, repaired everything that needed to be repaired, and stained the kitchen cabinets at just the right color, which was difficult to do given its incredibly specific coloring. They were kind, friendly, considerate, efficient, and got the job done sooner than I was expecting. I look forward to working with them again in the future.

I received a call from the management company, that there was a leak coming from the water heater from my unit in the complex. I decided to use Bellows Plumbing, which was family owned and close by. I asked for a ballpark estimate for the cost of replacement and disposal of the old hot water heater. I was told that it was not their policy to give estimates over the phone and it would be a $149 service call for a technician to stop by to evaluate. Big mistake. After I met with him, I received an email with the total cost and breakdown of parts and labor. $4,600 !!! When reviewing why the cost was as high as it was, I saw that I was being charged $240 for a brass shutoff valve, that the same valve costs $20 at the local hardware store. The same for a drain pan, $204 from them, versus $22 at the hardware store. I don't begrudge anyone from making a reasonable markup, but their padding was totally ridiculous. I ended up calling another plumber and it was completed at a fraction of the cost. Yes, they got my $149 for the nonrefundable service call, but when I'm asked if I can recommend any plumbers, they would be the bottom of my list. Sometimes companies can be penny wise and pound foolish.

My tenant reported water leak from first floor living ceiling. Exactly on top I had my second floor master shower is located. I have called up few plumbing companies and upon looking at the picture all of them were saying me the same solution which is they have to make multiple cut to ceiling drywall to see the leak and fix, however they can't fix the drywall. Well some one says they can but with additional charge it was a super huge amount. I looked at All city plumbing review which is very low but somehow I decided to give the new comers an opportunity (in spite of having very good but very few yelp comments). Just over phone he informed me an easy solution (most likely) which doesn't need those big cut but an observation was required post fix if any further leaks happen or not. I liked the idea, which no other plumbers were offering. Shawn came to the property and did exactly what he said to me. He in-fact didn't charge any money un-till few days when I confirm the leak is no longer present. Very helpful and this guy rock. I would like to give a super rockstar badge and in future I would like to call him up.
Bonus is: He can work through out the bay area. He is not having limited service are.

I found Niko online and have used him for a couple of jobs so far - kitchen and bathroom. He is quick, knowledgeable, tidy, friendly and professional, and his prices are great. I feel 100% confident in his work, which is a weight off of me. I am also very happy with his ability to find time to get the work done promptly. He provides old-fashioned, customer-centered service at reasonable rates. You can't ask for more.

We discovered a leak under one of our bathroom sinks recently, as well as an issue with the standpipe into which our washer outlet hose dumped its water. We messaged Trieu over Yelp and he was quick to respond. We arranged for him to visit and inspect our issues this morning. He arrived early and, upon listening to our issue and visually inspecting the washer area (in our garage), and the bathroom sink, understood what needed to be done.
For the washer, he explained what the potential issue was, what was missing (the old iron piping was no longer up to spec, and the washer installer did not link the outlet hose to the standpipe correctly. The issue involved a missing P-trap, and the piping should have been routed in between the studs (our garage is not finished). He offered to link it back up to the pre-existing pipe that sat unused between the cold and hot water shutoff valves mounted between the studs.
For the bathroom sink he took a quick look, observed where the drips were coming from, and knew what he had to do.
He arranged to return with tools and parts at a later time in the afternoon, and again showed up promptly and quickly set to work. He cut off the old pipe and arranged the new piping neatly, routing the pipe through one of the studs (after drilling out an appropriately sized piece). Prior to installing the new piping, he brought out a long snaking machine to clean out the vent pipe via the cleanout access hole. After working on it for 20 minutes, he found quite a bit of old fabric that had been lodged deep within the piping!
For the bathroom sink, he noted the parts were rather new (the house had been renovated about 2 years ago, before we had moved in), and so simply tried tightening the shutoff valve nut more. We had tried this but didn't know how much more we could actually tighten it. After his further tightening, no more drips!
He accomplished all this within his time estimate as well, and for a very reasonable cost also.
Many thanks to Trieu and we would again look him up if we encounter plumbing issues in the future!

Kim Marquez recently reached out to me to apologize for the oversight on their part. Apparently they misplaced our paperwork and it fell through the cracks. I appreciate her taking the time to research what happened and follow up with me even though we already had the work done. I am re-reviewing based on her customer service. I would be willing to give them another shot based on her customer service should we have future plumbing needs.

Both our shower and toilet clogged in the middle of the night - it was a nightmare! We searched yelp the next day and luckily found NEP Plumbing/Eugene. Eugene quickly provided some quotes with different pricing depending on where in the system was clogged. Also he was able to come that same day which was amazing.
Eugene arrived right on time and was very thorough. He quickly got the clog cleared while explaining what he was doing. He also had helpful tips on ways to avoid future clogging.
We were very satisfied and will be sure to call NEP for any future plumbing needs!

I got a toilet plumbing issue and called Bay Rooter & Plumbing for help. The owner showed up on time and examined the issue. Turned out that it's something that my builder should be responsible for because the root of it had started from the cleanout being plugged up outside my unit. He spent an extended amount of time analyzing what went wrong and gave me his suggestion of how it should be solved without any charge. He's knowledgeable, friendly, and very pleasant to talk to and work with. Will definitely contact this business again for assistance in the future. Highly recommended!!

I am a believer of Diamond Certified and have used them to select all types of service professionals for years and years. In the past I used Cal Coast Plumbing which was bought by Bonney Plumbing about 3 years ago. On July 4th, I returned from a trip and found the valve to the water main coming into my house leaking. I called Bonney Plumbing the next day, and was told they had decided to pull back from providing services in the Bay Area, and sold their business to Benjamin Franklin Plumbing and gave me their number. I called Benjamin Franklin Plumbing, and got an appointment the next afternoon. Chris came out. And was he great! I give Chris a 5 Star, you'll see why. He looked at the problem, and gave me a quote right then and there, which I accepted. He then started working on it. It required him to reconstruct the galvanized pipe to copper pipe, which my house has, from the ground coming up to the side of the house, solder in all the new line and a new valve, and then fashion a connection of copper piping and ball stop valve to the water line going to my front and backyard sprinkler systems. Chris spent 4 1/2 hours that afternoon, and almost completed it except for the sprinkler system line. He capped that, and said he'd come back the next morning. I had to be away that morning, but Chris came back, notified me he was at the house, and in about another hour finished all repairs. Chris texted me he had completed the work, as well, sending me two pictures of the finished copper line and new valves. So, that's why Chris gets 5 Stars. I am a Fan of Benjamin Franklin Plumbing with response and employees like Chris.

We have been using Ernie's ever since we returned to Gilroy 4 1/2 years ago. He and his family have replaced a kitchen sink, faucets, repaired leaks and just recently got my wife's earring that went down the bathroom sink. I would recommend them and trust them without a doubt.
