I own a property management company and finding reliable and knowledgeable plumbers has been the single biggest obstacle we have encountered. However, when we found Professor Plumber, we knew we would have a great vendor partner. Several days ago, I personally experienced a plumbing issue at my own home and when I called, they were here within a couple of hours, cleaned the line, ran the camera and determined the cause. Tyler was diligent and did not give up until he located the problem. With this old house, it's always with great anxiety that I have a plumbing issue because I do have cast iron but working with Professor Pipes, my mind is at ease knowing they're going to be honest, thorough and with reasonable pricing. This gives me comfort also knowing they are servicing my property management clients with the same level of care. Highly recommend.

Black Tie Plumbing really came through for us today!!! We called and in 30 minutes they send a plumber over to fix our bathroom faucet he was in and out in 30 minutes as well..Plumber was really nice and explained the situation and what he did to fix it thoroughly. Just a lead farm for independent plumbers.  I called this morning requesting a service call for a water softener.  I explained the problem in detail.  They said they would call back when they had checked their schedule for availability.  I got a call back from a different number, seemed like might not have been the same person, but since I had only called one plumber, I figured it had to be the same guy.  We spoke and agreed on a 5PM service call to work on my water softener.  I took photos of the unit and sent a detailed text, to which he confirmed. They said someone would be here at 5PM.

5:15 PM  no one is here, no ones has called, so I call them back, they said they would call the technician and call me right back. At 5:35PM, still no call back.  I call again the technician is wrapping up another job, he'll be right there  5:45PM the technician calls me and says...so what are we doing today, installing a water filter?  I said no, you're repairing a water softener...I sent pictures and a detailed explanation to your boss.  oh, well we don't really do that, there must have been a miscommunication  So I call the number of the guy I have been texting with...and he sends me to voicemail.  I text him letting him know what happened and asking for an update.  He responds I'll call you in 1 minute  well, that was almost 30 minutes ago.  I would avoid these guys like the plague.

Pablo is no doubt a plumbing master. He is genuinely a nice and honest person. Fixed our leaking pipe and was patient with all the questions I had. Being a house owner can suck sometimes but he always makes it easier. If you're looking for a legit and honest plumber, Pablo is for sure the guy you wanna call. Thank you Pablo!

Live Oak is professional from start to finish and its these details that help distinguish them from the crowd.  Live Oak provided consistent updates on arrival time for the technicians, diagnosis of the problem, course of action with alternative options and thorough details down to the work that was completed including multiple photos of the job(the job was underneath the house)

I had originally called another company who was unsuccessful in remedying the problem. Called Made and they came out to fix my backed up pipes on short notice. Got my issue solved in a short amount of time and with the utmost professionalism. Thanks Ben!

I have a well system problem and called Diversified and they didnt service my type of system. While on the phone, they were happy to tell me their personal experiences with it and talked me through diagnostics out of the kindness of their heart. 5 stars for being generous people when they could of easily said no!

I had a faucet that needed to be installed in my kitchen sink. I purchased the high-end faucet, soap dispenser and hole covers (I have a 4 hole sink but just 2 appliances to install). James came out and gave me a quote - he was very professional and friendly. The staff at the office was very communicative and friendly as well. I hired James to do the job and couldn't be happier. The price was competitive, the work was completed in a timely manner and looks great! He cleaned up all the mess (some that wasn't even his!) and left my kitchen looking great. Highly recommend this company! Whenever we call with an issue, Eric responds right away and fixes it fast. Woke up with a water heater issue and he was at my house in 5 minutes to fix it. Thank you Northwest, y'all rock!!

Have been using BELUE for years and wouldn't want to trust anyone else. Efficient, honest and neat & clean.  As a single female, I have to use people I can trust not to take advantage of my check book - cause what do I know?  Not much about plumbing.  Rhonda in the office has never been anything but polite and helpful.  They all know what they are doing.

So about a month ago, one afternoon I walked out into my garage and saw a rather sizable puddle of water in the middle of the floor.  Huh??  I looked around (why, I don't know).  Then I looked up.  Oh f@#k!  I ran upstairs and opened the door to the attic space where the water heaters and one of the hvac systems is located and there it was - water coming out of a small hole in a pipe by one of the water heaters.  Water was shooting out horizontally, hitting a wall, and running downward - through the ceiling of my garage.  I tried to turn off the water supply to the water heater, but nothing happened.  Panic!

Anyway, I didn't have a plumber that I liked (I deal with almost all the tradespeople who have to come to our house - poor things - and I decide who will come back).  I'd tried about three since we moved here, but none of them screamed 'I want to be your regular plumber'.  So I called my regular HVAC company and asked them to recommend someone and they gave me the number for Arty's Plumbing.  I called Arty's and explained my problem to the person who answered and guess what?  He actually sounded concerned about my emergency and said someone would be there within an hour.  In less than an hour, Frank arrived, assessed the problem, turned off the water to the water heaters and to the house and proceeded to repair the leak.  From the time I found the puddle in the garage to the time the problem was fixed was less than three hours, and that included Frank having to make a trip for a piece of hardware.

AND, the cost was very reasonable (I thought).  When he handed me the bill, I couldn't believe it was so low.  And Frank was very nice.  He also either didn't make a mess or he cleaned up after he was done.  Either way, there was no mess for me to deal with.

AND after all this, the worst thing we have is a water stain on the garage ceiling.  My car (that was just washed that morning for the first time in a couple months) didn't even get dripped on.  Now how lucky is that?!

Anyway, they don't know it yet, but Arty's Plumbing is now my regular plumber.  I sure hope they don't scare easily...

These guys seem okay. It's almost impossible to know (unless you are a plumber) if you are getting the best repair, diagnosis,  or value. But Matthews seem like straight-up, decent guys that know the business.

Chris came out to fix my leak in my pipe and discovered another one after checking.  He was very professional and stayed long hours until everything was complete.  I would definitely recommend Chris!

Jeff was able to come out same day and evaluate our issue. He was knowledgeable and able to rule out some of our concerns. He was able to explain the issue we were having and why we were seeing water around our meter.

Great company and great service.  They were able to save me $700.00 on my hot water tank.  Another company quoted me $700.00 more.
They are fast and efficient and most of all honest.  Highly recommend.

Have used Roto-Rooter before and trusted them.  No more.  When I use them it is always for the same service - cleaning out the sewer line from the clean out to the house and out to the alley.  In 2006 this was $150.  In 2010 it had gone up to $175.  Pretty reasonable.  We decided to call them out about 6 months later to prepare for several events at our house.  The line seemed to be slowing down.

The service guy showed up and quoted me a price of $270.  This was almost a $100 more than 6 months previously.  I went in and checked the previous charge to confirm.  When I came back out to question it he gave several reasons.  Having to clean out both ways, price increase.  However, he promptly dropped the price to $180 with a 10% discount.  My BS detector went off and I told him to tell me what I owed for him coming out and for him to pack up.  (I try to be fair in my dealings with people)  He told me there was a $90 charge.  While he was loading up I called the office.  They could not give me a price or explanation of the discrepancy of the charges.  They told me that there should be no charge for him coming out - it was a free estimate.

I contacted their customer service info.  Played phone tag with a guy from the local franchise.  He just kept asking several questions and never gave any real explanation for the behavior or apology.

I will do this service myself in the future or will hire a true local company.
