We have worked with Luis Davila and his operation for some years now and always been satisfied - they have been out at our place for multiple things. Including a new kitchen faucet install, multiple shower cartridge replacements (I finished one, but the two others were really stuck due to corrosion), blocked drain clearing outside the house, etc..
Luis is honest, explains things thoroughly and he and his guys do good work. One time, we had a newer person from them, but it turned out to be more difficult than we expected (I had tried to remove the shower cartridge myself first and knew it might be a difficult thing to avoid braking the pipe behind the wall). i am glad the guy said that he was uncomfortable continuing and they sent a more experienced person later - I think it was Abel
Anyway, I have recommended Davila Plumbing to others, and they have also had good experiences. Luis has personally come out to help me with a blocked drain outside our house and gotten things working again - the first person I called wanted a few thousand dollars to dig our driveway up to get to the back-flow valve that needed replacement!

Cesar was a phenomenal technician. From the first interaction he was professional, friendly and considerate. His approach in diagnosing the problem was fantastic and explained what he found well. Above all else he was straight forward and honest. Much respect for this guy and the business. Thank you for helping me out today.

I had a sewer back up on Saturday and tried to run a snake myself, that didn't work. I called Alert Plumbing on Sunday and Joey came out and tried to get it unclogged. He was polite, friendly and explained everything he was going to do ahead of time. He was not able to get the problem fixed but made suggestions on how to proceed. The next day Ruben came out with him to look at the situation and also made some suggestions on what to do, which was dig a replace a suspected broken pipe. They were very accommodating to answer all my questions and even made a recommendation that could take business away from them. They went out of their way to try and fix this by grabbing a city crew they saw down the block and bringing them by. I felt like the were truly trying to do the best for my situation and I appreciate it. As it turns out, my issue ended up being fixed by the City (a few days later) and I did not need Ruben's services. Alert Plumbing earned my respect any any future business as well as recommendations to others. Thanks.

Bruce was right on time and did the job quickly, neatly and efficiently. It is a pleasure working with these guys. They are clean, and on time and the price is right. I'd call them again anytime.

I called them for a clog at the sewer release valve (everything inside the house was working okay). I paid for snaking of the main sewer line, kitchen clean out and laundry sink. Also paid for camera viewing of the main line and under the house sewer inspection. I had two separate appointments with Pablo/Alan (snaking) and Alejandro (sewer camera viewing and under the house inspection).
I especially appreciate Alan help cleanup the sewer spill which I wasn't expecting!
I received video files of the sewer main line and under the house inspection. Email communications with their office was quick and responsive.
Alejandro gave me quotes on repairing the sewer line lip and replacement of a new two-way clean out, this is also at the beginning of the sewer line that had roots invasion and where the clog was. As the estimates for the two repair items were close to $10,000, I wanted a second opinion. (Credit card payment has a added charge.)
Alejandro also mentioned that certain sections under the house needs to be replaced. (Though no report or finding was noted on the invoice. I also asked for the details and did not get them.)
Two other plumbing companies gave me almost identical recommendations (I asked for their independent opinions first) on doing a maintenance and inspection in a year or two. Neither company thought the lip was a serious replacement issue. Neither thought it was necessary to install a new two-way clean out valve.
One of the plumber did another video viewing and later reached his hand inside the main sewer line and pulled out a wad of roots about 10 inches long! (He commented this should have been taken care of at the snaking and video viewing process. He asked me if I want to call them back?)
Pablo also installed a new main water shut off valve for me on the same visit. Both other plumbers noticed; though what they would charge were both cheaper.
I thought they were on the expensive side, this is at least of the items I paid for in checking with the other companies. Their paper estimates use industry jargons that is hard for laymen to understand, and some of my questions left unanswered.
I can't say for sure that they were trying to sell me something that is not necessary, however, two other plumbers gave me their independent opinions and thought both repairs that were suggested were not needed for now.
I think it is prudent to call different companies if it is a non-urgent issue, as this is the same recommendation by CCC Sanitary District to me.

Two toilet got clogged and I tried a few approaches but didn't help. I called Wally and he came to my place within 2 hours for inspection. He suggested me to contact rooters since his approach may lead to a higher cost. On the second day, I checked with rooters and unfortunately a few ways they tried didn't work either. It finally came to the same solution, so I asked Wally for help since his quote is more reasonable and I appreciated his integrity the day before. Wally came here in 4 hours and finished the job within 2 hours. Now everything is back to normal. Highly recommend Wally because he is honest, responsive and professional. Thank you, Wally.

Rene answered the phone and we were able to book an appointment the next day. He tried to use a snake to unclog a drain but was unsuccessful. The story may be continued another day, and if it is, I will update it. He was prompt and professional, and we appreciate that.

This review is an amazing job performed by The Leak Detection Company.
I received a notification of excessive water use and potential leak via email and text. Checked and observed for a few days and, sure enough, the amount of water used was triple the average we normally see. After checking the house and ruling out the sprinkler system, I suspected an underground leak in the pool plumbing.
Contacted the folks at The Leak Detection Company and from the first interaction on the phone I was impressed by the responsiveness and professionalism exhibited by this company.
After setting the appointment, they showed up right on time, brought some sophisticated equipment and took the time to explain everything they intended to do and how this equipment detects leaks. After performing their magic, they located the problem area and offered several solutions. I took them on the offer to fix the leak, which they did, demonstrating excellent knowledge of their trait.
More importantly, these are really nice people that take pride in what they do. They are very reasonably priced and truly care, which is something we do not see very often these days. If I ever need such services in the future, The Leak Detection Company will be my Go To company.
Highly recommended.

I was referred to them by our GC and I could not be happier with their service. They're reliable and they do quality work.

Rich is great to work with. He's responsive and knows what he's doing. The Coastside has lots of creative plumbing and I get the impression that Rich has seen some things in his career... For our creatively-plumbed house, he has always clearly laid out our options, whether it's to fix what's there or to replace it.

We had a leak in the a pipe by the water heater, the water was spraying out and of course this happened on a Saturday. I was worried that this would not be possible to fix until Monday and would be expensive.
I called San Jose Plumbing after seeing the rating on Yelp. They said they may be able to come earlier but couldn't promise anything before 3-5 in the afternoon. Fortunately James came by at 11.30am, only a short while after the call. He fixed the problem quickly, the price for a Saturday was the same as for a weekday, so the whole thing was very inexpensive.
Overall a great experience. If I ever have any more problems, I'll call San Jose Plumbing first.

I had the pleasure of working with George a few times over the past five years. He is extremely diligent, personable, responsive and incredibly good at what he does. George worked on both a kitchen and bath remodel for us, as well as some one-off plumbing issues we had with our fixer-upper home.
I would highly recommend Miramar Plumbing for any plumbing needs.

I needed a gas line removed to my pool heater and they came out same day, did the job and more! They offered to take out the pipe to the heater at no extra charge. Great guys and I will keep them on speed dial!!!

The guys showed up early for the free estimate appointment, identified the problem and fixed it within 20 minutes (a leaking outdoor faucet which they removed and replaced) for way less $ than other companies had quoted me. Will definitely use again.

Once again Steve came to the rescue fixing my major leak the very next day after calling him. He is easy to get in touch with and returns calls quickly. I appreciate his concern for using good quality parts. Now I just text him a photo of the problem and he arrives with the materials I need on his truck - not wasting my time and money running around town looking for parts.
I give Steve my highest rating 11

Best response time, even though I live near Google. Isidoro fixed a leaking toilet in less time than he spent in morning rush hour traffic to get here. Highly recommended, friendly service! Would use again if I need to,thanks!

Leo was the lead for this amazing job. I woke up to a clogged sink, that hadn't drained from the dishwasher the night before. When I expressed my concern about the job, he had the owner come so they could talk it over and modify the work so I would be more comfortable - and saved me some money there. I really appreciate how seriously he took my concern. They did a great job and cleaned up after themselves. Thanks Leo!

We developed a leak, somewhere in the master bathroom- shower. House is 15 years old, and bathroom was remodeled 4 years ago. Had a regular plumber in 3 different times: recaulk- no change, new shower valve cartridge- no change, drilled hole and ran camera- witnessed a water drop gather behind wall on shower head pipe- remove reinstall, caulk- no change to leaking status. My bedroom carpet behind the shower wall was still wet.
Called Advance Repipe, and they quickly set up appointment. Diagnosed the dreaded Kitec plumbing, and gave me a very fair estimate. (I had suspected the Kitec, and already had MUCH higher verbal estimates) Got a written contract and Ramiro and his crew were able to start the next day. (We have a handicapped individual who has a huge problem using the non-leaking tub/shower in the second bath) That day, Ramiro also recommended that he open the wall behind the shower to verify the valve. Sheet rock looked streaked, as through there had been water leaks, and I decided to have Ramiro replace it at the same time all the replumbing was re-done. Since the water heater was 15 years old, I replaced that at the same time.
The crew worked extremely hard that day- and got the house ready for rough-in inspection by the city. We had to wait for 3 days for the inspection, which included a weekend. Inspection was on a Monday, and on Tuesday, Ramiro had his folks back in. By noon on Wednesday, all was patched, and ready for me to paint.
Although whole house repipe is a very stressful situation, Ramiro did everything he said he was going to do, and in the time period he originally laid out. I would definitely recommend Advanced Repipe Specialists if you need your water pipes replaced. They worked hard, did a good job, and the price was very fair, considering the amount of work that goes into the job.
