I'm writing this review in hopes that no one else becomes a victim of davila plumbing company.

We contacted them because of the great reviews on Yelp to install a new toilet. For a plumber that should be a walk in the park right? Not for davila. After installing our new toilet, a couple months later there was a small leak in our kitchen ceiling. We had them come out again in the plumber said it was because of a faulty toilet. So we contacted the toilet company , who sent us a new one and he reinstalled it.

We thought everything was over until a couple weeks ago when I was luckily working from home and all of a sudden splashes of water came pouring down from ours kitchen ceiling. I called other plumbing companies and everyone who came to inspect said that the toilet had been leaking this entire time because it was installed incorrectly. The plumbers who repaired the leak said that the wax seal was not done properly and there should have been two instead of one so there was a big space between the toilet bowl and the pipe, meaning our PEE AND POO WATER was splashing on our kitchen ceiling this whole time and the water that came flooding down was part of it. SO. DISGUSTING.

When we call them back regarding this issue they told us that we are way past the warranty and there's nothing they can do about it. Um, how are we supposed to know the toilet is leaking on our ceiling until there's actual water leaking through? Luckily we have great home insurance and they will be going after davila for the repair cost of thousands of dollars. STILL, IT'S NOT FUN NOT BEING ABLE TO USE OUR KITCHEN FOR A WEEKS AND HAVING TO BE HOME TO LET THE REPAIR PEOPLE IN AND OUT.

Please spare yourself a similar saga and go with different plumbers.

The came to my house to inspect a slow drain issue which has been going on for over a year. Previously a plumber ran a snake through the line all the way through the sewer main, it did not fix anything.
The crew who came inspected it, they replaced the faulty pipe causing persistent clogging, the issue is now gone. They warranty their work for a year.
I highly recommend you contact these guys if you have any pluming/piping issue.

Ruben Ochoa from Alert Plumbing did a fantastic job clearing a very challenging clog in my kitchen sink.  I had another plumber come earlier in the week and he couldn't clear the clog. Ruben was professional, wore a mask and put in the extra effort needed to get the job done right! Thank you!!!

Toilet leaking.  Just what you need during Covid.  No problems coming out, and easily replaced the toilet, without us having to go shopping for it.  Very happy, they were very professional.  Thank you Aptos Plumbing!

Called them and they showed up within 30 min, the gentlemen looked and it and fixed it in no time.. and they did not charge anything as there wasn't a significant repair involved.. what else can you expect?

Best plumbing experience I've had so far. They repaired a clogged kitchen sink that has been a huge issue for some time - it turned out to be an extensive job due to a large clog further down in the piping. I made an attempt to repair it myself and the sink was in a disassembled state when they got there - they did not charge extra for putting it back together and were a joy to interact with. Very polite and professional. I've had several bad experiences with plumbers in the area before (rude/didn't show/quoted absurd rates) and am happy to have found these guys. Very happy with the service/results and would recommend them to anyone in need.

Recommended to us by a friend. Needed to replace some old pipes under our kitchen sink. FAST response on a Friday night. Had a technician come by on Saturday. Got it fixed immediately and at a reasonable price. Will definitely use them again.

Love working with Fuse. I have used them for all my appliance needs the last 4 years- refrigeration, dishwasher and hvac repair. Very reliable and reaponsive. They most  recently installed a new hvac system . Superb service and finished the job ahead of schedule . Highly recommend!

We hired The leak Detection Company to find a water leak in our concrete slab house in Redwood City when other company was trying to brake concrete all over our house the technician from Leak Detection Company find exactly where the problem was and we where available to repair it a much better price, no doubt about it they know what they where doing  very trustworthy company.

Water heater started leaking and no hot water.  Called in the morning and Redwood came that afternoon and installed a new heater. Fast, professional, reasonable,

Rich Briscoe is an honest and reasonably priced plumber who unclogged our kitchen sink Friday. He was very accommodating and easy to work with. I am happy to recommend him to others.

On March 20 2017 San Jose Plumbing, came to my house to bypass a pipe leak in the slab.  I showed him what I thought he should do and he suggested a slightly different method which I accepted.  This included cutting a notch in a wall to run a copper pipe and running the pipe across the ceiling and into another room.  I told him that the wall that needed to be notched was stucco, but he knocked on it and said it was sheet rock.  I asked him how much it would cost to do the job and he said $700 - $800.  

When he completed the work, he said the charge was $1234.  I questioned him about it reminding him he told me $700 - $800.  He said the $700 - $800 did not include materials and that the job was harder than he expected.  The job was harder than he expected partly due to having to cut stucco instead of sheet rock.

He should have told me that the $700 - $800 was just for labor initially and should not have charged more than he originally told me.  

We discussed this and he said he would agree to make the charge $800.  I thought he had changed the cost on the bill.  When he left, I noticed that he hadn't changed the price on the bill.  As he was getting into his truck I checked with him to make sure we were in agreement that I was to be charged $800.  He agreed!

Today, I received a bill for $1234.  I am disputing this amount and agree to pay only $800.  I RECOMMEND NEVER DOING BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!!!!

I've done business with George for years, and he will continue to be my first call whenever I have a plumbing need.

Had a plumbing emergency over the holidays and the guys came out and fixed the problem right away. I have some additional work that needs fixing and today they came out and fixed the outdoor pipes.  They were wonderful!  I will be calling them to for any plumbing issues that may come up (I really hope I don't see them soon)

Best plumbing experience ever! I had a water leak and was expecting a large bill. They came and fixed the leak in my bathroom, fix my garbage disposal, and dishwasher for less than the cost of an oil change! Also quick to respond and quick to show up. They just made me a customer for life!!

I have known Steve Davis for several years. So when my toilet overflowed he was my go-to person. He called back and 20 minutes later he was at my front door. He snaked my toilet and voila, I was much relieved and a happy customer. Once he arrives I know he will stay till whatever the problem I had is resolved. Thanks Steve.

Isidoro Alvarez is the man I can trust. I trust him so much I have told my family in the house to call him when we need him. He guaranty his work. Also, he takes care of my family even when I am out of town or the country. They don't need to worry about paying him. He bills me. He trusts me too. I am not sure why did I call the Rescue Rooter today? I paid the price and paid more.

We happily used Commando once before. Though we found Victor friendly but flaky, his crew was great. They did a major overhaul of our sewage pipes under the house.

We later scheduled him for snaking a drain, got a clear confirmation...but they didn't come. We called. Nothing. We pinged him via Yelp asking what happened. No response. We had to get a different plumber, which made for two more days of no shower. So disappointing.

Great crew but very unreliable. After one good experience we will go elsewhere in the future. Handy Plumbing Man has been reliable across two jobs with a great scheduling system.

i was very impressed with this company.  We had our entire house re-piped from pex pipes to copper due to many leaks we had with the pex pipes.  Ramiro was very professional and gave us an accurate quote and realistic timeline for the job.  They were excellent and stayed on schedule.  They were also very neat while doing the work (protected floors, etc).  Once the job was complete, they quickly patched up the walls and re-textured perfectly.  The staff were all very professional and polite.  During the process, they offered to change our shower faucets since the walls were opened up, as it would be a good time for that if we wanted it.  We now have new shower faucets and pipes that provide immediate hot water and are thrilled with the work done.  I can't recommend them enough.
