I had a problem with my toilet backing up and Davila plumbing sent out one of their guys.  It was fixed but unfortunately it happened again.  Luis (the owner) called about two weeks later to find out my satisfaction. I told him that the problem wasn't fixed and he came out right away and camera'd the main sewer line for free.  He was there for an exhausting 3.5 hours until he could figure out just what the problem was (we had many so it is hard to differentiate all the variables).  He was very thorough and knowledgeable.  He gave me a set of solutions--short term, long term, etc. His prices are all preset (showed me a huge catalog of their repair prices) so it's not like he's making them up.  They are probably more than average but they are reasonable, especially considering he'd get the job done right and he doesn't seem to just be choosing the most expensive solution.  He really is a very honest guy who wants his customers to be happy.  If you have a little problem, you could go with a company that just snakes out the drain.  But if you have a more complex problem or you have no idea what is going on, call him.  I highly recommend him.

We had a major sewer back up on Friday I was in a panic,we called The Plumbing Guys. They had great yelp ratings,Thomas came out & figured out the problem real quick, he explained that we needed  a clean out installed in order to get us into service. Needles to say he was 100% right,he had us back in service in no time. . Great price great customer service. I highly recommend The Plumbing Guys .

Job Done: Replacing all old (old, old, old) galvanized pipes with copper in two bathrooms (showers/toilets/sinks), kitchen (sink, dishwasher, refridge water), washing machine, water heater & outside faucets.
We were referred to Alert Plumbing by a good friend.  Ruben was very responsive to our initial call.  He gave us a thorough evaluation of what he thought needed to be done, quoted a reasonable price and didn't try to upsell.  Brian and all the workers were very friendly, and disruption of our home routine was kept to a minimum. They were VERY detail-oriented, from tear out, installation, clean up, and finishing touches.  They even threw in some nice extras.  We would hire them again in a heartbeat.

Tried calling this service multiple times after having done business with them previously, no response. Not even to call back and say I am sorry, we cannot fit you in our schedule. Terrible responsiveness after such a responsive attitude before. Maybe if you can actually get a hold of them...
Customer service though is really half of any business. I am sorry that this is no longer the case. See other reviews that say similar.

Our dog discovered (ugh) that our 75yo, 200' long sewer lateral was backed up around 150' down our steep lot. Tyler and his assistant came out the following day and gave a very reasonable estimate to snake the line. They immediately began work, spending nearly an hour trying two different snakes of increased size to clear the line. Tyler concluded that either more powerful equipment was needed to clear the line or the line might need repair or replacing. He recommended Monarch Plumbing for the job and left without charging us a dime. (Two technicians from Monarch came out later that day and were able to jet the line.) A very satisfied customer for any future plumbing work in the home.

Overdue review,  I had low pressure on my outflow water heater. Called up Wally and he came same day.  I called several others plumber but they were unable to come same day.  Kudos to that.  Wally can with Ray his partner to check on my situation, and it appears that the outflow pipe that i had had rust and narrowed significantly thus lowering the hot water pressure.  The interesting part that i observed is that both of them counter check each other job, just to make sure that the fix is as good as it can be.  Wally, installed a new piping, however when Ray checked he wasn't too comfortable with the connection because the lining on my heater side already worn out.  He insist that he had to redo it all over again with another pipe just to make sure that i can have as tight connection as possible.  

Also, they were upfront with their cost before repair, which is good.  they tell you how much it cost to fix before they start the job.  the best part is they actually tell you the cost to fix for different scenario if it happen before they start working, in my case they quote me x amount for doing this repair, and they tell me right away if such and such happen and we need to replace this it would be additional y amount.

Also, they are very generous in giving tips and how to prevent plumbing issues in the future.  This alone would have saved me hundreds of dollar down the road.

I had been dealing with a backed up kitchen sink and leaking garbage disposal for over a week. Called Rene early on a Saturday morning, and he arrived at my place in about 20 minutes. Barely an hour later he had both issues resolved. He even came back a few hours later to make sure everything was okay and to adjust a few things to his perfection. Overall, a great experience and would definitely recommend Rene to anyone looking for a good plumber.

Technician showed up during the allotted time. He wore a mask properly and was very professional, which was appreciated. Our AC unit had been leaking a ton of water and he explained it was due to a clogged line. He was able to fix it right then and there. Very happy with the services provided.

Leak detection is a specialized industry that requires the right skills, right tools, and great integrity with its business practices. They also have a very fast turn around time. I've found the owner to be honest, skilled, punctual and knowledgeable in the field. This is why we heavily rely on their services when our clients need leak detection or a water damage source report.

Mike and his guys did several jobs at my house over the last year including a partial repipe, new drains, and some work on gas lines. In each case there was great communication from start to finish, a very fair price, and the work was all top notch. So much so that other contractors that have been to my house commented on how good the work looked.

Best of all Mike and team are good people who you'll want to do business with....Highly recommend!

We recently got a new washing machine and it couldn't be installed by the seller as the connectors to the water supply weren't standard. I called Rich and he came out the next day, took at look at the connections and fixed it within a hour or so. He also replaced an outside faucet that was leaking.

He is an absolute pleasure to deal with and the total charge for the work was very reasonable and fair. I cannot recommend him highly enough and hope to use him for any future project.

Let's just say a leak above the kitchen ceiling on Christmas Eve is not exactly what I had in mind when thinking of Christmas miracles... Fortunately when I called San Jose Plumbing, they were there an hour later and figured out the problem as well as a temporary solution. Then we scheduled an appointment to get it fixed and the work was done early and under budget.

This is another great Yelp win. Just terrific service for a very fair price.

We had a rusted P Trap and drain on an old bathroom sink, and Miramar came out on Monday and repaired it.  It got us back running in no time.  Highley recommend Miramar Plumbing.

The Short: Nick from Plumbing 911 is the nicest, most honest and professional plumber! I would highly recommend his work.

Called Plumbing 911 to get a second opinion about low hot water flow my kitchen faucet. Previous plumber said that the water heater and piping was full of calcium build up and I needed to replace both the water heater and the piping to the kitchen for $1450.

I had already spoken to several plumbers over the phone to get secondary estimates and none of them questioned the diagnosis of the first plumber who said I needed a new water heater and piping.

After speaking to Nick on the phone for just two minutes he said that he doubted the water heater needed to be replaced and that the problem was probably in my faucet. It was the end of the day and Nick was at my house within an hour of speaking with him (6pm), within 20 minutes Nick had my faucet disassembled and cleaned, low and behold there was a small piece of rubber washer that had come loose somewhere and lodged itself in the faucet valve. Nick was in and out within an hour and only charged me his $125 service fee, saving me $1325 from what the other guys wanted to do!

Our water heater went out so I posted a message on yelp to see who could help. Posted the message at 7 pm and these guys replied by 7:05 pm. They came out the next morning at 9 am and gave us clear advice in a very non-pushy way. Gave us all the options and spent time discussing pros and cons. We opted to replace the unit given ours was nearing two decades of use. They immediately purchased the new unit and had it installed by noon. Fantastic. I figured that since they were already here we might as well tackle the ice maker that never worked. They took a look and quickly diagnosed the issue. By 4 pm they had replaced the pipe coming to the fridge, which involved three guys and lots of activity in a very small crawl space. I'll enjoy a hot shower and cold filtered water tonight thanks to this crew. Can't recommend them high enough and will definitely contact them again for any plumbing needs.

Davis Plumbing is honest, reliable, and exremely knowledgeable. Not only have I trusted Steve to make repairs in my own home, he is my go to guy for my real estate clients. This is the highest compliment I can give anyone. I have no affiliation with Davis Plumbing except as a very satisfied customer.

The seal on my toilet broke. Someone picked up when I called and was very responsive. They gave me a fair quote over the phone and had a appointment for within the hour.  Luis showed up within 20 min after the initial call, he was professional and quickly fixed the seal within 30 min. Very happy with results I will definitely use them again!

Any time we have a plumbing issue - we are happy that Mario is here to solve it! He is always on time, friendly and professional indeed! He does his job fast and leaves absolutely no mess after he's done! It's such a relief having someone like Mario to rely on!

Unfortunately, I had to hire another plumber to finish the job. Summary of Advanced Repipe Specialist is below:

PROS:
* They worked really hard
* Great sheet rock work
* No leaks
* All new fixtures (look and work great)
* Fast and friendly quoting; Bill was very knowledgeable and efficient

CONS:
* They abandoned the job:
 - I had to hire a new plumber after 10 months of no work
 - I had to spend an extra $3,000 to finish the job
* They promised 1-2 day max to complete the first phase of plumbing work, but it took 4 days. That was difficult because I had only scheduled two days off work to keep the house open for them to work there.
* They left trash (excess pipes, pieces) under the house. It took me about two hours of crawling under the house to clean it up, which was required to pass inspection.
* Pipes were not secured correctly. Pipes fell down after plumbers left with no willingness to fix it. Another plumber was required to fix it and pass inspection.
* Too much up-selling, when working on plumbing
* The contract says the plumber will be there for inspections, but they did not show up.
