Long story below. Short story is that their plumber failed to properly install a toilet. We now have close to $10k in damages and these plumbers will not admit fault or help with damages. Unethical and incompetent.

A plumber failed to install a toilet. The flush water had been leaking above my kitchen ceiling for months. We noticed water damage and the same plumber came over to take a look. He blamed the manufacturer of the toilet. We replaced the tank but not the bowl. It leaked for several more months. The ceiling caved in and fecal and urine water splashed all over kitchen. There was extensive mold. Remediation experts ran dehumidifiers and air filters to dry it all out and used chemicals to disinfect. Contractors redid the sheetrock, insulation, cabinets, lighting, paint, etc. 2.5 months later we are close to $10k in costs not including having to eat out and the electricity costs of running industrial equipment 24/7 for weeks. Maybe they have done good work for others but this is an disastrous failure.

From the beginning Aaron has been very responsive over Yelp messages. We've worked with plenty of handymen, gardeners, electricians etc who've been terrible at responding to questions and just basically not being available. Aaron has been great at that.
Thomas came over to our house to fix leaking toilets and a number of other issues. He was courteous, knowledgeable and helpful. I appreciated that he wore booties over his shoes every time he entered the house. He was also very careful about where he put down his tools.
These guys really know their stuff and stand behind their work. Once they've fixed the issue if something goes wrong they will come back to fix any issues you have free of charge for a whole year!

Update: we had them come back for adding drain wells in our home. Thomas was great, talked us through the whole process and told us things about our home that we didn't know! If I could give them more than 5 stars I would.

Super unexpected and positive experience with Aptos Plumbing! Thanks to Bruce! They were working at a residence on my street and I stopped by to ask questions about drainage. Bruce provided lots of valuable information and tips. No charge and was enthusiastic about it. I mentioned I was doing a DIY hack until my plumber could repair my shower next week (which included taking out a wall). Bruce offered to see if he can fix it WITHOUT taking out a wall. AND HE DID! Saved me hundreds of dollars! Even without this gesture, the information I got regarding my initial inquiry was above and beyond. I'm truly grateful for my experience today with Bruce and Aptos Plumbing! I highly recommend and will hit them up for any future plumbing needs!

These guys are excellent! Came out quickly, assessed my situation, got a mfg warranty replacement and had the faucet leak fixed in no time! I'm even having them check other situations now, and will always use again in the future. Highest recommendation!!

Wally was so pilot, courteous, and hard working!  He quickly replied to a request from our landlord to come to fix a water leak and was able to resolve the issue in an hour.  I work from home and was on calls during his work - he kindly explained what he was going to do and went about his work thoughtfully and quickly.  I would definitely recommend him to others needing plumbing help!

Rene was very professional. He came on time and was very knowledgeable. We had a clogged sink for about a week. He diagnosed the issue very quickly and was able to fix it immediately. Will definitely recommend him for any plumbing work.

We had a new leak that nobody could find but they were able to come out and quickly locate the leak. They were very quick and efficient and helped fix our problem when no one else could.

I would highly recommend this company.  We are in the middle of a total remodel and could not count on the previous plumber to show up.  These guys stepped in, were totally professional and did what we needed, basically re-ran everything and hooked up our tankless water heater and scaler, in the time frame they had quoted.

Awesome job.  Came out within an hour of my call to fix a blocked drain.  Identified some corroded pipes (even though the house is relatively new) and changed those for me too.

The cost was very reasonable. My experience with  plumbers in the past has tended to leave me feeling like I have been taken for a ride.  

Not this time.  I would not hesitate to use Briscoe again.

Let's just say a leak above the kitchen ceiling on Christmas Eve is not exactly what I had in mind when thinking of Christmas miracles... Fortunately when I called San Jose Plumbing, they were there an hour later and figured out the problem as well as a temporary solution. Then we scheduled an appointment to get it fixed and the work was done early and under budget.

This is another great Yelp win. Just terrific service for a very fair price.

I had the pleasure of working with George a few times over the past five years. He is extremely diligent, personable, responsive and incredibly good at what he does. George worked on both a kitchen and bath remodel for us, as well as some one-off plumbing issues we had with our fixer-upper home.

Our kitchen sink backed up in the evening and we were scrambling to find someone to fix the issue that same evening. I called a few places and no one was able to help, until I got a hold of Nick. Nick was getting ready to go home for the evening, but he could tell how badly we needed to get things fixed, and so he agreed to drive over (40 min drive) and make the needed repairs. He was incredibly professional and nice. Our pipes ended up having to be replaced too and Nick went to Home Depot so he could finish the repairs that same evening. We were really happy with his services and would highly recommend him.

I had water coming from the wall after running my washing machine. It must have been a block somewhere,  Edwin helped to identify and resolve the issue. He was on time, got down to work right away and helped to solve the mystery. If I need a plumber I'm calling right away! Thank you Edwin!

I just bought a new home and, in the process of getting it ready to move in, I had the opportunity to meet Steve Davis.  While the home was new for me, it itself wasn't brand new.  So, there were several items that needed attention.  The home inspection reports detailed some of these.  But, in the process of reviewing the home myself, I found several more issues.

Steve worked with me to address the items originally detailed in the inspections.  But, as I found new issues, he came out and addressed each of the new items, too.

There were plumbing as well as grouting and caulking issues that needed to be addressed.  Steve made everything he worked on look brand new.  I'm very pleased with all of his work.  In fact, I'm glad I now know someone whom I can turn to when an inevitable plumbing problem arises.

First of all, their name is inaccurate. I scheduled an appointment to get an estimate, and there was no sign of them within the one-hour window. So I texted and called. They called back and it turned out they had the wrong number for my address. The truck was nearby, but couldn't they have let me know sooner that they couldn't find it?? (I don't know how long he was lost for).
Then, they looked at the job and had no suggestions for how to install the pump I wanted on the water heater, and didn't even know the name of the type of pump that I need. This is in contrast to another plumber who had come by a couple days earlier and was very clear about what needed to be done. I just wanted to get a 2nd opinion, but these guys failed to do it. I sent them away with disappointment.

Several months ago, the inlet line to our septic tank got plugged by roots and the system backed up. In the course of getting it fixed, we noticed a large pipe in the crawl space with a 1/2 inch crack in it that was leaking sewage. I asked three plumbers for repair bids. The first two quoted around $3000, not including sheet rock repair and possible stucco work. Michael of Commando came last and to my delight said that repair was not really necessary. The crack was in a vent pipe and would only leak if the system backed up again. The solution then is to roto-root the inlet line periodically which will cost way less than $3000.

I called Advanced Repipe Specialist to get someone to come and give us a quote to replace our water pipes. I spoke to watch sounded like an older gentleman and told him my schedule to make an appointment. It was Monday and he said he had an appointment for Thursday but at a time I would not be able to make. He then said he will did not know if he could make an appointment for Friday morning at 9 AM he would have to check your schedule and let me know and I did not hear back from him.

Friday morning comes and the doorbell rings my wife and I were not expecting them as we have not heard back regarding the appointment. I mentioned that he did not confirm and he said oh you're the one I forgot to call back. I said apparently so he apologized and proceeded to take some measurements and look at what we needed to do. He then said he would have a quote for me within the next couple days. I gave them my email address and look forward to the possibility of doing business with them.

It has now been over two weeks and I've not heard one thing from them. I do not know if this is a regular behavior but after one miss hap I would think they would have a bit more vigilance for a potential customer.

I don't think this is a company I feel safe working with.
