I first wanna start this review by saying thank you Joshua who did my plumbing. He was very nice and knew exactly what had to be done. Although we ran into a leak from below the kitchen sink he was able to get the job completed by replacing the pipes and welded them with a blow torch. I have to admit I wasn't worried at all because he seems very professional. Will I refer this plumbing company to my friends and Family? YES! I will because of how well this Gentleman work ethics has shown me. Thanks again Joshua for your hard work..

I just wanted to help my daughter today who is so busy and has a hard time getting things done. I called several plumbing companies to simply help clear up the bathtub. Four companies wanted to put me off until next week. I called The Plumbing Guys and they sent someone out right away. Tom showed up. He not only fixed my daughters clogged bathtub, but also found that the thingy that helps to drain the tub was broken and fixed it very simply and cheaply with no hassle. Oh! before he left he even cleaned up the mess in the bathtub. It was cleaner then than when he showed up. These people are great. I would highly recommend the to whoever needs some plumbing done.

We had a Sunday night emergency of the water heater shut down.
I called Alert Plumbing Sunday eve and was told the technician will be by tomorrow between 9 and 11 am.
Ruben showed up on time and proceeded to diagnose my problem. He asked what I had done and then proceeded to inspect and trouble shoot the problem. He got the heater burner working and consulted  with an other manufacturing expert and concluded that the heater was working properly. His timely arrival and professional expertise was greatly appreciated. He went out of his way to consult another expert and left satisfied that the problem was corrected.
I would recommend him highly.

Tried calling this service multiple times after having done business with them previously, no response. Not even to call back and say I am sorry, we cannot fit you in our schedule. Terrible responsiveness after such a responsive attitude before. Maybe if you can actually get a hold of them...
Customer service though is really half of any business. I am sorry that this is no longer the case. See other reviews that say similar.

I have used plumbing Care on two separate occasions now. Both times they came as expected did the work properly and left a cleaned up area.

Their price was reasonable and even if the job took longer and was more difficult than expected they didn't try to increase the price.

Based on my two experiences I would recommend them to anyone for their plumbing needs.

My main water shutoff pipe sprung a leak all of a sudden and Wally came out right away. He gave me a lot of good advice and didn't try to upsell me. He was honest and straightforward and repaired the leak very quickly and with professionalism.

I called Rene and he remedied a toilet installation after I recently had flooring changed. The difference in flooring thickness caused a gap between the floor and toilet.

I was aware of the rates and although high, I needed the work done.

A third toilet was in a common area so it wasn't as urgent. There was a different quote because the pipe needed to be cut on this one. I called and got a different quote from another company. They did the job for less than half.

When you can, always get a second opinion. Paying more than 2x is no joke. That's why one star deduction.

We called more than 8 HVAC contractors in the Bay Area for a split A/C  installation. All of them came, did all the measurements and inspection, in the end, they gave us a ducted estimate. Yes, every single one tried to convince us to go ducted since the house has existing vents they can use. My husband and I turned their advice down. We want the ductless A/C because of the options it gives us. We can turn on and off any unit in any room that is not being used.
I probably Googled HVAC contractors often, so when Facebook recommended the Mitsubishi split A/C system (The Age of Surveillance Capitalism book by Zuboff), I clicked on the advertisement. Mitsubishi sent us three contractors; one did not estimate, the other one gave us ducted price. The third one, FUSE HVAC Refrigeration and Electrical, wowed us from the very beginning. Peter did the usual inspection and gave us a comprehensive ductless estimate. Kate, the scheduler, was very responsive and always on top of the schedule notification. David and Tilek worked very hard to install four units plus a condenser during the San Jose heat. David worked in the attic and clean after they are done. Tilek, on the other hand, is probably the BEST installer a homeowner can ever ask for. He is funny, very systematic, and thorough. He answers every single question my engineer husband asks. He knows his craft very well.
We are very happy with the end result and highly recommend this company.

We have used this company several times and refer them to all our clients. They always go above and beyond and are very fairly priced but most of all have a faster turnaround time than anyone in the leak detection industry.

Mike and his crew were great! He was clear and upfront about everything.  He came in and fixed a lingering issue we'd been having that my own general contractor couldn't. Really good work - they know their craft.

You can't do better than Rich Briscoe for a plumber.  He responds quickly, appraises your needs thoroughly and accurately, explains exactly what he's going to do and why, and answers any questions expertly and honestly.  His prices are very fair as are what he charges for parts.  If he's got a spare of what you need he may not charge for it at all.  He's also very personable and while fixing or installing whatever it is in a jiffy he's never in a hurry and is very pleasant to talk with.

Kevin has helped on multiple plumbing issues on two of my houses, he's always prompt, professional, knowledgeable, fixed all issues at reasonable prices.

I called him up to ask about the cost to flush a hot water heater and he asked how old it was. Since my hot water heater is from 2004, he didn't recommend flushing it out. Due to age and likely significant sediment, it could stir it up enough to clog up the lines.  He didn't think it'd be worth it for me and recommended to save my money for replacing the water heater, which would likely be soon.

He's honest and gives a good opinion and I really appreciate that! Will call him when it breaks!

These guys were great! I had a huge emergency at my ice cream shop and they were in and out promptly so I could get my hectic day back on track! :D I will be defiantly be calling them back!

Steve is excellent. He always promptly returns my call and schedules an appointment. He quickly addresses the problem without any mess. Steve patiently explains to me what I need to know so that I might be able to fix it myself in the future. Most recently, he left me the tool I would need and didn't charge me. Steve is efficient and trustworthy. If I was unable to be home while he works, it would not be a problem

We hired these guys to remodel the powder room vanity. They did an awesome job to our full satisfaction. They accommodated our request to come late in the evening. They did the work seamlessly and answered all our questions.

I can start by saying that use caution when dealing with these guys. The permit was pulled  11/1/16 and was finally signed off by the San Jose Inspector on 4/12/17.

Our experience started with the estimate.  The estimator (Bill) did a great job in outlining the process of repiping an older house and gave us our estimate promptly.  On wrinkle that we made was to request the installation of a tankless water heater a week before the guys arrived to start the project

The team arrived at the house promptly the first morning and started clearing out the old pipe and cutting holes in the walls to run the new pipe.  The guys worked quickly but I noticed that they were taking a shortcut by running the pipes that supplied the hose bibs through the vents.  Several vents were cut and I had them remove the pipes and run them through the exterior wall where they belonged.

Another crew arrived to repair the sheetrock.  We were satisfied with the quality of the work and our painter did not have any problems painting.

Everything was completed in four days and that is where things got bogged down.  The inspector ordered that the condensate from the tankless water heater was to be run to a gravel filled pit measuring 2'x2'x2' rather that on the concrete at the back of the garage. The inspector also required that they install a expansion tank near the hot water heater and perform a pressure test on the new gas line.

The crew installed the expansion tank and then called for another inspection.  It is important to note that they were not ready to perform the pressure test and had not dug the condensate pit. The reason the pit was not dug was because the owner of the plumbing company did not feel that is was necessary.

About a week later the inspector arrived for the third time and again asked to have the pressure test as well as have the condensate pit dug. The owner of the plumbing company argued with the inspector and the final word was that they needed to dig the condensate pit.

After numerous calls over several months the crew arrived and dug a condensation pit.  The owner came by the house and told me that he was digging the pit to Make me happy, I repeated to him that this was code specified and was what he needed to do. I felt that he still believed he was doing me a favor.

The fourth inspection failed due the how the pressure test was performed and how the condensate was run to the pit.  The owner of the plumbing company convinced the inspector to return later in the day.  The pressure test was finally performed and approved.

I made my final payment and hope that this is the last I will ever see of this company.
