Aaron responded to my request for quote on yelp on Wednesday. Scheduled an appointment for an estimate for noon the very following day. He said he could do the repair the same day if we agree on the price.

He was a no show at noon. I text him at 12:38 PM. He says he had nothing for noon and told me to double check. I told him to check Yelp messaging where he's confirmed noon appt. He then says the job was assigned to someone else (total BS) but he's running late. He himself shows up around 3PM with the other guy. He was friendly enough so I agreed to his price and expected him to do the repair but he says he has another job to go to.

Scheduled repair for Sat., July 4th at 10AM. I text him at 10AM to confirm he's on his way. He says our appt is between 10-11 (it was not... he said 10 AM) but that he's running an hour late. I said noon'ish is fine. I had to text him throughout the day asking when he was going to show up. He kept responding he's almost done and will be over soon. I text him for the last time at 6:30 PM thanking him for wasting my entire day. He responds that he didn't think the job (another main break) would take so long. He said he didn't want to leave an elderly mom with 3 small children with no water. OMG... Not an elderly woman or a mom with 3 small children BUT an elderly mom with 3 small children. Guess he wanted to double up the BS!!! No apologies and no mention of if/when he would show up. Wasted the entire $@%$#% 4th of July waiting for him.

Clearly this guy has ZERO respect for others' time, which means he has no respect for others, period. Go ahead and call him if you want to waste all day waiting for this complete flake!

Thank you so much to Ruben at Alert Plumbing!  I have used Alert plumbing may times and will continue to use Alert Plumbing for all our repairs.  We became aware of a pipe leak under our home and I quickly contacted Alert and they were able to get someone out the next day!  Once Ruben arrived he was able to go under the home and access the problem.  We discussed some options and made a plan for him to come back the following day.  Ruben came back the next day with all the needed parts and completed the repair.  Thank you again to Ruben at Alert Plumbing!   Professional office staff, skilled plumbers and reasonably priced!  Highly recommend you call Alert Plumbing for all your plumbing needs!

Todd from Aptos Plumbing took my call after hours on a Friday. He was helpful troubleshooting my problem to the point that I could safely get through the night. He came over first thing Saturday morning and solved the problem quickly. As a bonus, he was super friendly and patient enough to explain everything he was doing to me. It is clear that he knows his stuff and he had actually researched the proprietary fittings used by a national water softener company (that refused to support their own problem). He used that information to make sure my problem was fixed. A great overall experience. Thanks

Alex came out as our shower faucet had broken.  He had to open the opening, remove the face plate, redo some pipes, put in a new face plate and shower faucet.  He was professional and efficient. I would highly recommend him and Plumbing Care.

Our main line sewer line was clogged.  Came out within 30 minutes and fixed it. great service. Very friendly

This guy went above and beyond for us... any other guy would have given up for sure, but he stayed snaking our septic pipes for almost 2 hours until the line was clear for sure. Extremely honest and pleasant guy. He also came earlier in the day where he suggested trying the septic company and left without even charging us. 10 out of 5.

Had a problem with my Samsung Refrigerator where the front panel was not responding.  Fuse came out on a simple service call and gave me an honest diagnosis of the issue that avoided a costly repair.  Technician was professional and friendly and followed COVID protocols.  Very happy with the experience overall.

Mike and his guys did several jobs at my house over the last year including a partial repipe, new drains, and some work on gas lines. In each case there was great communication from start to finish, a very fair price, and the work was all top notch. So much so that other contractors that have been to my house commented on how good the work looked.

We have been using SJ Plumbing for over 10 years, and have been happy with their work.  So, we decided to get a quote from them for a property line clean out.  They were the middle bid, so we thought it was a no brainer to use them again.  

Once we committed to it, everything started going downhill.  The office told us it would be 3-4 days total. Day one was fine, both the plumber Jose, and Martin started digging away.  Every day we checked with them, their only comment to us was this is the hardest dig we have done in a long time They start late in the morning, take a lunch break, and rarely work past 5pm. At the end of the first week (5 days in) they were still digging.  I would have thought they would have brought in another laborer to help with the digging, but no, the two just kept digging.  

At the beginning of the second week, they finally called for a city inspection.  The soonest the city could come out was the following week.  We would never have known this unless WE CALLED THEM to find out what the heck was going on. They ended up having to pull another permit for work they did 10 years ago at our house, and this delayed the completion even longer. For three and a half weeks, we had an 8 foot deep exposed trench in our front yard.  They used extra lumber from around our yard to try and cover the trench (which wasn't very successful), we had to put up a barrier at our gate to keep our backyard closed off to keep our dog safe. Plus they killed 3 of my plants by covering them with dirt during that time. (How about asking me to move the plants temporarily)

We have done a fair amount of construction on our house and are well aware of the possibility of delays.  What really got me was the lack of communication from the plumber on the job, and the office to keep us informed. My husband works from home, so there is no excuse for not communicating with us. We had to call them while we were on vacation to see if the job had passed inspection.  The following week the office finally did call us looking for payment. No one from San Jose Plumbing ever contacted us to see how the job went and if we were satisfied.

They have lost a long time customer.  We are now looking for a new plumbing company.

I gave them two stars because the property line clean out passed inspection.

George is wonderful, careful, precise and does things right.

We had a leak in a pipe joint behind the drywall in our bathroom.  One of the best contractors in the area said we should call George to fix it.  We did and could not be happier.

Since then we have used George for all our plumbing  problems.  
He returns calls to his cell phone within an hour or two (650-303-6965).
He makes time to fix urgent problems.
He works carefully and fixes the problems.

Very nice and professional. I called at 9:30 this morning and by 10:30 they were at my house to fix my leaking shower. They got the part and quickly fixed it at a reasonable price. It wasn't a tough fix, but I will remember the way they treated me and will recommend them to my friends.

Had some old water pipes and some undersized drainage lines. Got several estimates to replace a large portion of these. Warranted gave me the most reasonable price and was one of the few that didn't feel like they were trying to upsell everything. They were also the only company that found a fractured drain pipe after going through my crawl space for the estimate.
Once they provided a quote, I was nervous the end bill would be higher because a company could easily say more work was required, but that wasn't the case. Final bill was exactly same as the estimate.
The crew knocked out the work very quickly given the scope and were very meticulous about minimizing dirt throughout the house and cleaning up at the end of the project.
From the initial estimate to the completion of work I was thoroughly impressed with this company.

The latest project was a bathtub retiling job and new plumbing in the house we rent.  We tend to perform a lot of rental management duties to help out our aging landlady who doesn't live in the area.  He was extremely clear and precise with his estimates, timing and communications with our landlady and us.   He has done at least two other projects and he is prompt, respectful, honest and highly capable.  He takes the time to explain what he is doing and executes in the time he says it will take.  I trust him so much that we gave him the key to our home to do the bathtub retiling job when we were on vacation.  

When we buy a home and if we need any plumbing work done I will always call Steve Davis first.  I have no affiliation with him except through these projects and I wholeheartedly and enthusiastically recommend him.  It is really a pleasure to receive outstanding service and a treat to be able to recommend Davis Plumbing to others.

My 90 year old mother called me at 5:30pm saying there was water leaking in her garage and spilling over the tray.  She said it wasn't from the water heater, but couldn't explain where it was coming from. I was over an hour away in traffic, so I called a few plumbers, not even sure what was leaking.  On Time Plumbing was the only one that could go out ASAP. They were out there in 20minutes, replaced a leaking hose from the water softening unit, and charged me only $180. They also explained an issue with the water softener that I will call those folks about. I highly recommend On Time Plumbing and will certainly call them again when needed.

I needed a plumber quickly as my tenant was going to have guests arriving within a couple of days.  I had water leaking from the second floor into the first floor, which is a garage. Based on reviews and their website I called Commando Plumbing of Redwood City. My return call was made in an acceptable time frame. I told Victor the problem and he said he could have someone look at the issue late that afternoon. Based on reviews and initials calls I believed they were going to be reasonable in their pricing so I agreed to have them examine the problem. Victor sent over Leo that afternoon as stated. Leo diagnosed the problem; after testing the bath/shower and cut a hole into the sheetrock. As it was late afternoon he said he could make the repairs the next day about the same time in the afternoon which was agreeable to me.  He returned the next day as planned and made the repairs as stated. I agreed to the pricing before work started and was given a senior discount as I am retired.  Leo used shoe covers every time he entered the house. All went as planned, no surprises.  I am satisfied by the work and pricing. Thank you.

Ramiro and his crew did a complete re-pipe and installed an instant hot water system in our three bath 2,800 SF home. Their pricing was fair and the work was done on the schedule agreed. Patching of the walls and clean up met expectations. After the painting (handled on our own) it is not possible to tell where the many holes were cut. The crew doing the work were efficient and returned one bathroom to use before leaving on the first day. Inspections were done quickly and passed immediately. I would definitely use Advanced Repipe again.
