I reached out to this company about installing a tankless water heater. The plumber told me the estimated price, and asked why we would want to replace a relatively new high-quality water heater by a tankless one. Without getting into too many details, the plumber suggested another solution, which doesn't involve installation.

He concluded by saying It's not that I don't want to do the job, I would love to do it. But if I am thinking about your best interest, you should probably first check out other solutions.

I appreciate very much the way this company puts the client's interest first. They put themselves in the client's shoes and give a frank advise, and are ready to pass on a job.

Job Done: Replacing all old (old, old, old) galvanized pipes with copper in two bathrooms (showers/toilets/sinks), kitchen (sink, dishwasher, refridge water), washing machine, water heater & outside faucets.
We were referred to Alert Plumbing by a good friend.  Ruben was very responsive to our initial call.  He gave us a thorough evaluation of what he thought needed to be done, quoted a reasonable price and didn't try to upsell.  Brian and all the workers were very friendly, and disruption of our home routine was kept to a minimum. They were VERY detail-oriented, from tear out, installation, clean up, and finishing touches.  They even threw in some nice extras.  We would hire them again in a heartbeat.

I love the guys at Aptos Plumbing! They are professional, reliable, and on point. Bruce was clearly super competent and creative as he trouble shot my old house plumbing. He was also really patient and available to answer all my questions. Job super well done at a  reasonable price. These guys Rock.

I've only used them once for a standard job so far, so I will update if I ever need them again. Kyle was great - really down to earth and up front about the cost of creating a gas hookup. I had a little snafu on the day of my dryer delivery from Home Depot, and Kyle did everything he did to make things better, even though the snafu had absolutely nothing to do with him or Plumbing Care. Would call them again should an issue come up in the future.

I would rate Wally a 6 star if possible.  He service was quick responsive, professional, and fair priced.

Pipe going to my heater started to leak on a Saturday. Called a few places around and soonest appointment was Monday, which obviously is not going to work.

I want to install a Mitsubishi mini split.I called five companies, Fuse gave me the best quote, 35% lower than the highest quote. Paul and his partner are very nice and professional. They run extra power lines for the new AC. The job was beautifully done. Fuse do have the best price, best service and best employees. I will definitely recommend it to friends.

Marcos was responsive & helpful! He found the leak within minutes of arriving, despite the fact that we also had a leaky shower valve. Turns out it was just a leaky landscape valve!

We were referred to Mike/Redwood through another plumbing company which didn't do the type of work we needed. Mike and crew were great to deal with. They weren't the cheapest nor the most expensive quote that we got, but they did great work. They were very knowledgeable, prompt and reliable. We ended up adding a couple of additional features that we didn't think to ask for and Mike suggested, but all pretty minor things we should have thought of and didn't, he def wasn't try to upsell us on anything we didn't need. We got waters and drains repiping, an on demand heater with recirculation and some gas line work. All of it is working great. I'm also very confident that he will stand by his work if any issues ever come up

We recently got a new washing machine and it couldn't be installed by the seller as the connectors to the water supply weren't standard. I called Rich and he came out the next day, took at look at the connections and fixed it within a hour or so. He also replaced an outside faucet that was leaking.

He is an absolute pleasure to deal with and the total charge for the work was very reasonable and fair. I cannot recommend him highly enough and hope to use him for any future project.

We have used San Jose Plumbing for over 17 years.  We always requested that Kevin, the owner do our job. We have been extremely happy with Kevin's work.  I will give him 5 stars for all the work he has done for us.

Lately Kevin is reluctant to take up some tasks, especially if the work involves newer brand of products.  He then refers to others who is supposedly more familiar with those brands.  Once he asked me to get an appointment with his son for our work.  Well, after leaving a message with the receptionist for an appointment with Kevin's son, they  didn't bother to call and give me  the appointment or to tell ne they can't do the job. We had one  other person come twice  only to let us know that we need to buy other parts.  He charged us $350 for the two visits and never bothered to finish the job.  So my initial 5 stars are down to 1 now. I am sorry to see their service level degrade so much, but we can't afford to continue to put up with it any more.  So we have decided to go with other companies.

I recently had two interactions with Miramar plumbing that did not go well. The first interaction was for a leak in my kitchen that was also bubbling my walls downstairs. I had thought it was the dishwasher that had leaked, but this was coincidental. Nonetheless, George looked no further and missed that the actual leak was behind the refrigerator. Of course this allowed additional damage and created more issues.

I thought I would give a local business one more chance. But on this occasion we called twice over 24 hours, once stating it was urgent, and then had to call a third time. Only to be told they did not have the tools needed to do the job.

When it comes to plumbing issues thoroughness and responsiveness are paramount. Unfortunately neither of those were satisfied in my interactions.

The Short: Nick from Plumbing 911 is the nicest, most honest and professional plumber! I would highly recommend his work.

Called Plumbing 911 to get a second opinion about low hot water flow my kitchen faucet. Previous plumber said that the water heater and piping was full of calcium build up and I needed to replace both the water heater and the piping to the kitchen for $1450.

I had already spoken to several plumbers over the phone to get secondary estimates and none of them questioned the diagnosis of the first plumber who said I needed a new water heater and piping.

After speaking to Nick on the phone for just two minutes he said that he doubted the water heater needed to be replaced and that the problem was probably in my faucet. It was the end of the day and Nick was at my house within an hour of speaking with him (6pm), within 20 minutes Nick had my faucet disassembled and cleaned, low and behold there was a small piece of rubber washer that had come loose somewhere and lodged itself in the faucet valve. Nick was in and out within an hour and only charged me his $125 service fee, saving me $1325 from what the other guys wanted to do!

Our main sewage line was backed up. Edwin Rivera..... This man is a genius. He gave us the full diagnostic after running the camera down the pipe. ROOTS!!!! Yes, we had to replace the line. Less than 24 hours after agreeing to terms Edwin got the City Permit approved. Everything was PROFESSIONAL from Edwin's Crew, their Quality of work and reliable Communication. I just bought a new home and, in the process of getting it ready to move in, I had the opportunity to meet Steve Davis.  While the home was new for me, it itself wasn't brand new.  So, there were several items that needed attention.  The home inspection reports detailed some of these.  But, in the process of reviewing the home myself, I found several more issues.

Steve worked with me to address the items originally detailed in the inspections.  But, as I found new issues, he came out and addressed each of the new items, too.

There were plumbing as well as grouting and caulking issues that needed to be addressed.  Steve made everything he worked on look brand new.  I'm very pleased with all of his work.  In fact, I'm glad I now know someone whom I can turn to when an inevitable plumbing problem arises.

i was very impressed with this company.  We had our entire house re-piped from pex pipes to copper due to many leaks we had with the pex pipes.  Ramiro was very professional and gave us an accurate quote and realistic timeline for the job.  They were excellent and stayed on schedule.  They were also very neat while doing the work (protected floors, etc).  Once the job was complete, they quickly patched up the walls and re-textured perfectly.  The staff were all very professional and polite.  During the process, they offered to change our shower faucets since the walls were opened up, as it would be a good time for that if we wanted it.  We now have new shower faucets and pipes that provide immediate hot water and are thrilled with the work done.  I can't recommend them enough.
