When the property manager started using Davila's Plumbing, repairs were actually made, not fumbled. Luis is so eager to please in scheduling that he'll offer to come later at night than I feel comfortable requesting, when it's a non-emergency item. Luis says that the PM contract gives him a lot of work and keeps them very busy--and I'm thinking that the gist of most of these reviews is that he's going to have to hire more staff!

Our just-fixed problem is our tub/shower: very slow drain (in spite of hair removal from the drain itself as well as the drain cover, and several applications of drain cleaner) to the point where one showers in standing water, and there is never a funnel in the water outside the drain. Lots of sludge from soap left behind, as well; and the spigots & diverter were very difficult to turn off. Imagine, it takes both wet hands to turn each knob. Same for dry hands.

Sergio found a definite obstruction a few bends down, and did what he could to clear it. It is so lovely to have shower water that drains properly! He even cleaned up some of the scum.

We ourselves hired Davila for what we thought was a leak in the washing machine, but he discovered that it was something more properly handled by the property management, and let them know.

We wouldn't hesitate to hire him again. All his staff are pleasant, willing to explain as much as you want to know about your particular reason for calling them. It's my belief, from seeing several of his staff, that everyone is bilingual Spanish/English--so are the staff at my ophthalmologist--which is very valuable. The truck has a message about beating other estimates up to 15%, so if you think you're being taken by other plumbers, call Luis.

Now if only the PM could find a replacement for the current maintenance & repair firm, on the order of Davila Plumbing, I would be overjoyed.

I have had many disappointing experiences with plumbers until now. I had bathroom sink hardware that was not working and two plumbers told me that my only solution was to replace the sink entirely, including giving me unhelpful advice to put a vanity in a small bathroom.  

In contrast, The Plumbing Guys made this project so simple to fix! They removed my pedestal sink so we could wallpaper, then replaced the same sink with new hardware. It all works well and I didn't have to buy a new sink after all.

Eric and Victor could not have been more customer-friendly and helpful. They were also delightful human beings which was a lovely surprise after one experience after another with a surly service provider.

I will use this company for every plumbing need going forward.

When our water heater in our 1939 bungalow bit the dust, we opted to upgrade to a tankless water heating system. After reading the reviews on Yelp, we were impressed by the comments about Aptos Plumbing.

I gave them a call, and they were able to send out their estimator that afternoon. Bruce was super friendly and knowledgeable and laid out our options for the new system. He also gave us a quote on costs. Tankless conversions are not cheap, but I knew they had their work cut out for them on this elderly home. It was only a couple days later that they sent out a team and dove into the project.

In order to pipe-in the new system, they needed to send a couple of their team under the house--into the crawlspace from hell. Working in mud and water with less than two feet of headroom, they completed the entire job in one day. Everything was done properly, neatly and to code. At the end of the day, they cleaned up all traces of mess and hauled away the old heater and any debris. We had unlimited hot water that evening. No corners were cut, and in the end, we were billed at exactly  the lower end of the estimate. No tack on charges or surprises in the bill.

Everyone on the site was friendly, highly skilled and hard working, and we are totally pleased with the result. We now have all the hot water we need and can check off one more thing we won't have to worry about. I would definitely recommend Aptos Plumbing to a friend or family member.

I have a rental and my usual plumbing services was not available unfortunately so I decided to give this one a try.  Made an appointment for a clogged kitchen sink and was so happy to be given 11 am-1 pm window which works well with my tenant's schedule.  On the day of, it was already noon when my tenant called to check.  He was then given 1-3 pm window which obviously would not work for him.  After negotiating, they sent someone at 12:30 pm which is good.  I thought that was the worst of it.  Now here comes the quote - $150 to unclog w/o a snake and $175 with a snake. My own kitchen sink happened to be clogged just two months ago and it required a little more work than a snake, where they actually had to clear the p-trap and cut one of the pipes shorter to drain well.  It cost me less than what Plumbing care was charging.  I called the office to question the quote but they said it's up to the technician to decide.  I went for it because I needed the problem to get resolved that day and it did.  Since their price does not seem to be competitive at all, I don't think I'll be using their services again.  I need a more cost effective plan B!

Rene is AMAZING!  We've lived here for over 20 years and I've done most home repairs, including plumbing myself.  Just now while my son took a shower upstairs, the downstairs toilet overflowed.  Then after 15 minutes of plunging the drain wouldn't clear.  I looked in the garage for a basically toy drain snake I bought once but must have given it away or tossed it.

I checked YELP! and saw that so many plumbers were closed and I didn't want to give my business to RotoRooter.  I saw Magnificent Plumbing so I called.  Rene answered right away and told me he would be at our house in 10 minutes.  He was here even faster!

He arrived with a mask, put on booties and came in to the downstairs guest bath.  He asked a few questions and immediately knew what was wrong.  

He had the problem fixed in less time than it took to unload the equipment, take payment and load up again!  

This was BY FAR the best communication, customer service and response time we've ever had.  Even the County Sheriff takes longer to come when we call.

Great service by Bob at our house in Los Altos earlier today. Managed to resolve all the issues with our heater and went above and beyond in also providing us tips and advice on how to maintain moving forward in addition to all the work and tests done.

Fair price, timely response, would call fuse again for future heater issues.

Marcos was responsive & helpful! He found the leak within minutes of arriving, despite the fact that we also had a leaky shower valve. Turns out it was just a leaky landscape valve!

Well my old water heater decided to take a poop on me in the middle of a shower so I called around a few places and everyone either didn't answer or was booked out a week. When I called Redwood Pipe Britney answered the phone (super nice!) she said that Mike the owner could come out that day and see what needed to be done. Mike arrived 2 hours later and waisted no time  looking over the old water heater. As I expected it was installed by the previous home owner incorrectly and that was part to blame of why it failed. Mike gave me a few options on what i could do and ultimately I went with his recommendation on getting an on demand heater. They scheduled me for the next day and I had hot water by that evening!! It's been 3 months now and I've noticed a reduction in my electric bill and the heater works like a champ. Thanks Mike and team for doing such a solid job! Come back for coffee anytime :)

Great job done quickly and professionally.  Pricing was good!  Had dishwasher and disposal replaced. Rich took the time to explain how the new ones worked.  Very happy and will definitely use again!!

We have used San Jose Plumbing a couple of times over the past 10 years at two different houses. Both times Kevin came out. He was extremely professional and knowledgeable. We were very satisfied with the work he performed. In the most recent visit, we had a obstruction in the sewer line under the house. He spent 45 minutes trying to clean out the line but the mechanical snake he had was not long enough to reach the obstruction. He was unable to resolve the issue but did not charge us for the 45-60 minutes he was here. He explained the problem and recommended another company that was more suitable to clear the obstruction. I appreciate a company that really does follow their motto of satisfaction guaranteed.

We had a rusted P Trap and drain on an old bathroom sink, and Miramar came out on Monday and repaired it.  It got us back running in no time.  Highley recommend Miramar Plumbing.

I called Steve at 830 after discovering that my hot water heater had blown up...  I called Steve Davis. Got right a hold of him. Him came right over confirmed the cost of new heater, did not try to talk me into higher priced model, only what we needed. He left to get the new Hot water heater and came right back. Got everything back up earlier than he had promised. Then for no charge he fixed the dryer venting on my dryer and made a few suggestions and it has really cut my drying time down. Had a toilet in our Family Room that wouldn't drain. Called On Time Plumbing and the owner Frank was at our house after only 90 minutes and left the house about an hour later--having snaked away the clog (some 20+ feet down the pipe from the toilet), reseated the toilet, and secured another pleasantly satisfied customer. Can't ask for more than that. Thanks Frank.

Leo at Commando Plumbing came out to my mom's house to do some work on some drainage issues in the kitchen. The situation was more complex than we initially thought due to some shoddy work from a previous contractor. Leo pointed out the details on what was wrong and why, and explained clearly how he planned to fix it. Work was done promptly and professionally, would hire again.

Ramiro takes your concerns seriously. He repiped our 70+ year old home in one day. During the inspection phase, he found some very serious breaks in our iron sewer pipes. The following week they replaced those as well.
