I had a sewer back up on Saturday and tried to run a snake myself, that didn't work. I called Alert Plumbing on Sunday and Joey came out and tried to get it unclogged. He was polite, friendly and explained everything he was going to do ahead of time. He was not able to get the problem fixed but made suggestions on how to proceed. The next day Ruben came out with him to look at the situation and also made some suggestions on what to do, which was dig a replace a suspected broken pipe. They were very accommodating to answer all my questions and even made a recommendation that could take business away from them. They went out of their way to try and fix this by grabbing a city crew they saw down the block and bringing them by. I felt like the were truly trying to do the best for my situation and I appreciate it. As it turns out, my issue ended up being fixed by the City (a few days later) and I did not need  Ruben's services. Alert Plumbing earned my respect any any future business as well as recommendations to others. Thanks.

Horrible customer service. Reached out to get a quote and never head back from them. Reached out again about a month later and was provided with a very high quote. When I asked for only partial services to be completed they denied and said it was a waste of time for them and they weren't interested in working with us. Would not recommend this company at all.

I'd recommend finding a better plumber if you're reading this.

Last week, our water heater went out.  I called and they were able to send a technician that day.  It was a minor repair and got us back in business.  While there, their technician, David, looked at a couple of items we asked about.  He was very professional and polite.  I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

This review is an amazing job performed by The Leak Detection Company.
I received a notification of excessive water use and potential leak via email and text. Checked and observed for a few days and, sure enough, the amount of water used was triple the average we normally see. After checking the house and ruling out the sprinkler system, I suspected an underground leak in the pool plumbing.
Contacted the folks at The Leak Detection Company and from the first interaction on the phone I was impressed by the responsiveness and professionalism exhibited by this company.
After setting the appointment, they showed up right on time, brought some sophisticated equipment and took the time to explain everything they intended to do and how this equipment detects leaks. After performing their magic, they located the problem area and offered several solutions. I took them on the offer to fix the leak, which they did, demonstrating excellent knowledge of their trait.
More importantly, these are really nice people that take pride in what they do. They are very reasonably priced and truly care, which is something we do not see very often these days. If I ever need such services in the future, The Leak Detection Company will be my Go To company.

I have used San Jose Plumbing now 4 times and each time has been a pleasant experience.  They are very responsive, punctual, and professional and what I appreciate the most on top of those qualities is their honesty.  

If they cannot repair something they don't charge you.  In the situation where you may need to replace equipment, they provide you with as much information as possible to make an informed decision, whether or not you decide to use them.
 
This type of integrity is practically unheard of and something I truly appreciate.

I called him up to ask about the cost to flush a hot water heater and he asked how old it was. Since my hot water heater is from 2004, he didn't recommend flushing it out. Due to age and likely significant sediment, it could stir it up enough to clog up the lines.  He didn't think it'd be worth it for me and recommended to save my money for replacing the water heater, which would likely be soon.

He's honest and gives a good opinion and I really appreciate that! Will call him when it breaks!

Nick is the plumber I would recommend to anyone in his service area.  He gave me a quote that was competitively priced with other plumbers, and he was available to complete the job the next day.  
I decided to choose Nick for the job because he communicated the issues clearly and explained my options for fixing them.  I had a leak under my shower into the crawl space and Nick did a great job fixing it.  I had to leave my home before Nick was done working, and he was trustworthy and locked the door on his way out.

I'm so impressed with this company!  I messaged them for a quote to repair a valve in my toilet.  They were very prompt to respond and schedule an appointment.  When the tech arrived, he simply adjusted the valve which had been bumped out of place and it was working fine.  No service fee, no unnecessary replacement of parts!  I will definitely reach out to them in the future...honest and prompt!

Steve did a great job installing the water filtration system in our basement.  He is up front with the customer on all issues.  He and his crew were diligent in their work.  The finished product was clean and professional.  Steve also took the extra step to tie down some equipment with straps to guard against damage from earthquakes.  That in itself showed me the guy cares about his work and goes the extra mile to make sure it's done right.

I had a leak in the kitchen sink that I found out about Friday afternoon. I called On Time Plumbing and was able to schedule for them to come out next day Saturday morning, which was great because I couldn't wait until Monday. They showed up in the time window and fixed the leak quickly by replacing a broken part in the piping. I would call them again next time I have a plumbing issue

Victor is an awesome experienced plumber. He has worked both on my house and business plumbing issues for the past 6 years. I just love:
-  he is able to come the same day  
- don't charger crazy prices like other plumbers
- charge by the job
- privately owned business
-  gives the best advice on which material is better

He very professional and I recommend him to everyone. N I will definitely call him whenever there is an issue.

They did a good job of the re-piping, but subsequent leaks and other small fixes were ignored. After a couple calls, they even stopped picking up the phone.
I would not recommend them unless you expect the job will be done so well that there is zero chance of needing a followup visit.
