I took a chance on this start-up and was beyond satisfied with their work. I was originally quoted almost $1,000 for some plumbing work from another plumbing company and this company quoted me at $375 with a one-year warranty.

Luis is the main guy and he is fantastic! He works with an ethical standard most contractors do not. My husband was out for the day and so I was home alone with Luis and his worker, George. I felt completely safe with both of them there.  

I will call Luis for future plumbing/sewer work and will tell anyone that will listen to me to call them as well. I would give them 10 stars if it was available.

I just wanted to help my daughter today who is so busy and has a hard time getting things done. I called several plumbing companies to simply help clear up the bathtub. Four companies wanted to put me off until next week. I called The Plumbing Guys and they sent someone out right away. Tom showed up. He not only fixed my daughters clogged bathtub, but also found that the thingy that helps to drain the tub was broken and fixed it very simply and cheaply with no hassle. Oh! before he left he even cleaned up the mess in the bathtub. It was cleaner then than when he showed up. These people are great. I would highly recommend the to whoever needs some plumbing done.

Ruben and his crew were very thorough.  We had a clog in our sewer line, and after they removed the roots that were causing the problem, they determined that the line was sagging and split.  They made sure they did it correct the first time.  The broken pipe was replaced and they offered their recommendations.  Moreover, their prices were reasonable.

I have been fighting a problem with water hammer for quite some time. Called Aptos Plumbing and was visited the next day. Less than two minutes into the call, the problem was diagnosed and fixed! So much for YouTube and the Internet. Take local knowledge and personal service above all. It's worth every cent. This company will be my go-to guys for years to come. Very knowledgeable and honest.

Martin is the best plumber I have ever met!  He is honest, polite and very professional!  He takes the time to explain things, and he would make sure that you understand before he leaves. He was so kind to fix my neighbor's fridge at no charge.  I highly recommend Martin for all the plumbing work.  Awesome customer service!

I highly recommend Wally and Save Plumbing. I called him to fix my sink and he did an effective job. He's competent, punctual and a have a very nice personality.

We just moved into our new house and were having some issues with our plumbing. I got a referral from a neighbor for this company and decided to call. Rene, the plumber, was prompt and very professional.  He went right to work and when finished explained everything to me. The cost was very reasonable especially as it was a last minute job and on a holiday. I would recommend this company to everyone. They are fantastic!!!

I had a really bad experience today. The technician tried to take advantage of me by asking for $500 for a simple fix without a receipt. And he did not fix the leak - I checked on 5/17 and there is quite a bit of leaking now (check the attached picture). At all, stay away from this company/technician.

Here is the story:
My AC had a leak. It did not blow cold air. I found Fuse because it has a great Yelp review score. I thought I could trust this company.

The technician (Chirill Z.) came around 6:00pm as scheduled. He tightened/glued a few places and added a few pounds of Freon. At the end, he did not even bother to use the tool to check if the leak is fixed. And he asked me for $500 bucks without a receipt !!!

There were a few things wrong here - at the beginning, he was not transparent - he did not reveal the price for the work and just did it without asking. Second, he said there was no receipt he would give to me. Basically he did not want to give me any evidence! Third, he said he did not charge by hourly rate. He charged people by the work!  

A few thoughts:
1. the technician is dishonest and unprofessional. He took advantage of people when he thought he could. It was not likely the first time he did so. I am curious why Fuse is still using this technician.
2. He has poor skills and did not work in a professional way either. He took off screws from my furnace but did not put them back on (There are three not put back!). And he accidentally added excess Freon in my AC. The AC's sub cooling is expected to be 11. And he made it to 15.8. And he did not bother to take them out. I searched the internet. In AC, it is not higher the better. The high number reduces the AC's performance.
3. He did not do diagnosis proactively and throughly. He only checked the valves outdoors and believed they were the cause, and claimed the fix. I had to ask him to check the indoor connection with Furnace. There was a leak there too. Mostly, he did not double check if there is a still a leak after the fix -- it turned out that he did not fix the problem at all.

Ending: I refused his ask. First, I knew the price range -- My AC had the leaking problem last year and another company did the same thing and charged much less for the work. Second, I need a receipt to know how I was charged. Third, I heard that Fuse has a warranty. Without a receipt there is no proof to get the warranty, in case something went wrong. I called Fuse. The manager waived the service fee for me. Thanks to the manager.

I think it is worth to write down the experience so that people can expect what could happen and know what to do if it happens again to you, even for a 5-star yelp company.

This review is an amazing job performed by The Leak Detection Company.
I received a notification of excessive water use and potential leak via email and text. Checked and observed for a few days and, sure enough, the amount of water used was triple the average we normally see. After checking the house and ruling out the sprinkler system, I suspected an underground leak in the pool plumbing.
Contacted the folks at The Leak Detection Company and from the first interaction on the phone I was impressed by the responsiveness and professionalism exhibited by this company.
After setting the appointment, they showed up right on time, brought some sophisticated equipment and took the time to explain everything they intended to do and how this equipment detects leaks. After performing their magic, they located the problem area and offered several solutions. I took them on the offer to fix the leak, which they did, demonstrating excellent knowledge of their trait.
More importantly, these are really nice people that take pride in what they do. They are very reasonably priced and truly care, which is something we do not see very often these days. If I ever need such services in the future, The Leak Detection Company will be my Go To company.
Highly recommended.

Water heater started leaking and no hot water.  Called in the morning and Redwood came that afternoon and installed a new heater. Fast, professional, reasonable,

Awesome job.  Came out within an hour of my call to fix a blocked drain.  Identified some corroded pipes (even though the house is relatively new) and changed those for me too.

The cost was very reasonable. My experience with  plumbers in the past has tended to leave me feeling like I have been taken for a ride.  

Not this time.  I would not hesitate to use Briscoe again.

On March 20 2017 San Jose Plumbing, came to my house to bypass a pipe leak in the slab.  I showed him what I thought he should do and he suggested a slightly different method which I accepted.  This included cutting a notch in a wall to run a copper pipe and running the pipe across the ceiling and into another room.  I told him that the wall that needed to be notched was stucco, but he knocked on it and said it was sheet rock.  I asked him how much it would cost to do the job and he said $700 - $800.  

When he completed the work, he said the charge was $1234.  I questioned him about it reminding him he told me $700 - $800.  He said the $700 - $800 did not include materials and that the job was harder than he expected.  The job was harder than he expected partly due to having to cut stucco instead of sheet rock.

He should have told me that the $700 - $800 was just for labor initially and should not have charged more than he originally told me.  

We discussed this and he said he would agree to make the charge $800.  I thought he had changed the cost on the bill.  When he left, I noticed that he hadn't changed the price on the bill.  As he was getting into his truck I checked with him to make sure we were in agreement that I was to be charged $800.  He agreed!

Today, I received a bill for $1234.  I am disputing this amount and agree to pay only $800.  I RECOMMEND NEVER DOING BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!!!!

I had the pleasure of working with George a few times over the past five years. He is extremely diligent, personable, responsive and incredibly good at what he does. George worked on both a kitchen and bath remodel for us, as well as some one-off plumbing issues we had with our fixer-upper home.

I would highly recommend Miramar Plumbing for any plumbing needs.

An awesome plumber. Nick is everything you want; honest, fair, responsive, knowledgeable, and to top it all off he's a really nice guy. This is a guy you'll be very comfortable having in your home. My dog even loves him.

Edwin was the technician who gave us the job estimate.  His estimate was more than fair so we were happy to have Edwin complete the job. Edwin has a kind and helpful attitude.  He exudes knowledge and a friendly manner.  He and his team arrived on time ready to get started.  It didn't take him long to complete the job.

Tonight, we have running water again thanks to Steve! He came to our house at night to figure out where the leak in our garden was coming from. He diagnosed the problem correctly, but had to come back in the daylight to excavate. His diagnosis was correct! He found and fixed the problem quickly. His work was very neat and other then a trimmed hedge you wouldn't even know he had to dig. I will absolutely call on him next time we need a plumber. Best of all he charged much less than what one big company quoted us. Thanks Steve!

Both of our office restrooms were out of order..called them a little after 8:00 am and the arrived at around 8:30 and fixed the problem!! We can all drink our coffee now!!!!!

I called Commando around 1pm with a bad water heater.  Other places had told me they could replace it the next day or the day after that.  Leo showed up within an hour, called around for a replacement, and installed it that evening.  The installation looks really good, and the area was clean when he finished.  His price was at the lower end of the ranges that people had quoted me.  I am very happy with the result!

My complex needed a water pipe reroute done in about 19 different units.  Our HOA board received multiple bids and did significant research on each company before signing a contract.  They ended up selecting ARS based upon Better Business Bureau info, customer reviews/experiences both online and written letters of recommendations.  I am so glad ARS was selected, what a wonderful company!  
Ramiro Lozano, the owner, came out to do the initial walk through and was very thorough in reviewing what they needed to do and approximately how long it would take.  He communicated clearly in layman's terms, so I was able to understand.  Once they were ready to start the work, Veronica, from his office, called to set up the date and time.  His team showed up ON TIME on that day.  They started working right away and continued working hard for the next 4-5 days to get the reroute completed in the 3 units in this building.  As soon as the reroute was done, the drywall guys came out the next day to patch, mud, texturize and paint the necessary holes that were made in the ceilings and walls.  At the end of each day, they did a great job of cleaning up which is so important when living in a construction zone.
Overall, from start to finish in all 3 units, it took 7-9 working days.  (Please note, this building was the first one ARS started with in the complex and they did not have the blueprints or anything to go by).  However, as they are moving on to the other units, they are moving at a much faster rate and the start to finish time takes about 4-7 days.  I must also state that the quality of the work they do is phenomenal.  As they came across issues with leaky or corroded valves, they informed the homeowner so that we could either have ARS fix it (as these issues were not covered by the HOA) or get another plumber to fix them.  Ramiro just wanted to make sure that the homeowners are aware of any problems and left it up to each of us to decide how to fix them with no pressure from him.
All interactions I had with every person involved in this project from Veronica in the office to the plumbers and the drywallers were a pleasure. It is also important to note that when you reach out to anyone in this company via phone or text, you will get a very fast response.  I highly recommend this company and give them a 5 star rating.  Ramiro Lozano is extremely professional, reliable and takes pride in the job he does. If you need this kind of work done, do yourself a favor, and hire ARS as you will not be disappointed.
