I called Marquez Plumbing regarding my rental property where my tenant was without hot water.  My tenant is elderly so this was an emergency.  They were able to prioritize this and get out there within 3 hours and were able to solve the problem at that time as the plumber had the valve he needed in his truck.  I have used them several times before and they always do a good job for me.

Marquez plumbing was so quick to get back to my inquiry. I needed a new water heater and they immediately gave me an excellent quote with details on what I was paying for. They showed up and had consistent communication with me the day of the appointment. I will definitely call them back for future jobs.

So today I was in A DIRE  situation and Owner came out to help my brother Jason who is disable. Dave is the best and someone who actually cares ! So I highly recommend them for sure!!

Only 4 stars because they charged $25 to use a  tool that most would think all plumbers have. After all, isnt that why we call a plumber?

Working on a shower.  Screwed it up. Had to call a plumber.  They were a week out for scheduling but patched it so we could get it repaired properly

My hybrid heat pump water heater was making noise so Marquez Plumbing was asked to service our unit by Rheem.  They completed the job quickly and now my heater is not making a loud noise.  Great job and great communication.

I phoned Marquez today regarding a replacement to my laundry faucets.  Paul came in about 1/2 hour, changed those, and did an additional job for me too. He was quick and is wonderful to deal with. Highly recommend Marquez. Have used them for years.

I cannot say enough good things about this business. Been using them for years, and every time , they are professional, prompt, great scheduling, and service is superb. Expensive. Installed a water softener in an existing space using existing plumbing. We were quoted an hourly rate. Job took 2 hours and he charged us for 4 hours because he brought someone else along and charged us for that guy's time, too.

Lots of drama ensued when we questioned what we were charged. Told us he wouldn't charge us even though we weren't looking for a freebie.  Charge was reversed then a week later someone calls for our credit card number because it was misplaced.  No mention of previous drama. Very odd but no appetite to revisit previous drama so we gave them our card number again and the full charge was processed again.

Work was OK, looks a bit odd the way it was positioned and pipes routed over a sink.

We were experiencing a clog somewhere in our plumbing. We were concerned about a broken pipe.  We called another local plumbing service first and they were booked through the month.  Next we called Marquez plumbing.  Someone returned our call in a reasonable amount of time and sent someone to our house to  snake our backyard clean out because that's what my husband asked them to do.  We seemed to be okay after that - nothing backed up and toilets flushed.  Ran 1 load of wash in an HE washer and had a back up in the shower and bathtub and couldn't flush.  This was not their fault. Called them back after closing and left a message.  In the meanwhile the pipe drained and we were able to flush toilets again and the water drained from the shower and tub.  They were really busy the next day and couldn't get to us.  We weren't in dire need so it was okay.  They came back the next day and located the clog after finding our sewer line and digging a small hole in our yard to access the pipe. The clog was determined to be out in the street where the sewer line from our house connects to the main sewer.   Another guy had to come back with a bigger piece of equipment to snake the line out to the middle of the street.  He cleared the pipe and then patched it so we could use our plumbing. I checked on it repeatdedly - no leaks.  Someone had to get parts to build our 2-way clean out for ease of eliminating future clogs because our older home didn't have a 2-way clean out.  The clean out is in our front yard but they took steps to make sure it's not obvious, you have to know what you're looking for. They were all efficient, friendly, knowledgable and their services were reasonably priced.  We will call them in the future if we ever have need for their services.  My husband and I were both happy we called them.

I was very happy overall.Definately mask were worn. He was able to unclog the kitchen sink without any problem and the price was very reasonable. Will recommend Marquez for sure. A+

We have a couple of rentals in addition to owning our own home and Marquez Plumbing is our go-to plumbing company. The phone person is helpful and cheerful and she gets you on the schedule promptly. Most recently Paul came out to unplug our line and he was efficient and personable. This company has had the chance to add on costs and instead fit us in so we were able to avoid the extra charges. I highly recommend Marquez Plumbing.

Great service.  They came the same day!  Paul was very knowledgeable and we will definitely be calling them for our plumbing needs.

On time and got the job done.    I think the first plumber to work could have done a more investigative role as there were two other valves that were stuck open that he missed.     There was a minor water drip after he finished that my brother in law tightened.    The second plumber that we requested to replace  two other sticky valves in the same general location was much more thorough.     Will use them again as needed.

It's terrible when something breaks or a line gets clogged, or whatever.  But, since this happens to every home at some point, unfortunately, do not hesitate to contact Marquez Plumbing.  These guys are consummate PROFESSIONALS in every sense of the word!

Main sewer line was backed up. They showed up right away and took care of the problem. Nice.

I called today to get my garbage disposal fixed and he was able to come the day of and within an hour of calling which I'm wet thankful for! I couldn't go another day without it working. Very friendly and even showed me how to do it myself if it happens again. Over all great experience I will definitely be contacting them for any plumbing issues.

They responded quickly to my call for a leaky pipe. Mario wore a mask and was very professional. He replaced our pipe quickly and we were very pleased with his work and knowledge. We would definitely recommend this company to anyone with plumbing issues.

I cannot say enough good things about this company! Twice in this past year, we've had water pipes crack in underground, hard to reach areas. A phone call was all it took, and they were on it. A very nice, very hard working 'Danny' responded to both incidents and worked his butt off for us. Local, friendly people and top quality service. What more can you ask for?

These guys are great! Sent an email, Kim was very responsive. Plumber was scheduled and problem fixed in a timely matter. Pricing was also very reasonable! Highly recommend!

My Dad was in a tough spot and needed his bathtub valve fixed ASAP. He called Marquez Plumbing because he used them in the past. They scheduled him that day (2 -4 pm), but the owner stepped up and called him to let him know he'd show up earlier to look at the problem. He showed  around noon and squared up my Dad ASAP. Nice to know my family was in good hands.

I called a few competitors and got a busy signal from one, and a blurry announcement from another. You can't have that in today's business environment.

Frank from Marquez plumbing did great work  installing the new water heater and removing and disposing of the old one and he was very experienced and frendly. We are quite pleased with the Installation and the quality of the product. We highly recommend Marquez plumbing to anyone.

Came home at 5:15 on a Friday night of a holiday weekend to find our water heater had burst and the garage was flooded. I called Marquez Plumbing and by 7:30 pm the water heater was replaced. Excellent customer service. Couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Picture this. Saturday 5:00 12 guests for,dinner party about to arrive. Christmas decorations out, beef bourguignon ready for dinner, champagne is chilled, and our septic system back up. A host's worst nightmare. Our regular plumber out of town and recommends Marquez Plumbing. Called these folks and they answer their emergency phone right away with no phone tree. Have a plumber here within the hour and they snake the line for a reasonable price considering it was a Saturday night. Problem solved. Party saved. Highly recommend them.

I wish all service companies were as responsive and accountable as Marquez Plumbing.  I never hesitate to call them for all of my plumbing needs or a recommendation if they can't assist me.

I give them five stars! My valve to shower busted and I had to shut water off to my home. I called around and another company estimated the job at 1000$. I called MARQUEZ and the women picked up and she was very professional and she knew what she was talking about. She asked if I could send picture of the valve, I did so and they said they could send plumber out right away and since after hours it will be emergency service rate I said ok and literally within 15mints or less I had the plumber at my door step and he was very professional. He did not park in my drive witch to me is a great sign of professionalism. The worker came in and he was straight to the point about what needed to be done and he reassured me he could complete the job. Since the valve had to be replaced he had to open up the back side of the dry wall which was a closet and  the dry wall cut he did was a great cut and not a hack job. Literally the dry wall that was cut could set back in to place. He spent 2 and 1/2 hours for labor and some cost for parts total came to 609$ and change. He saved me 400$. Since the other plumbing company estimated me at 1000$. I truly recommend them for any type of job. Great employees and very professional. I thank you  MARQUEZ Plumbing for making my emergency run smoothly without any type of extra headache!

Marquez Plumbing did a GREAT job for me on my mom's house.  I had them re-plumb her whole house from the fixtures to the street and they did a GREAT job.  They also did me a favor and came to my house in Salinas to checked all my plumbing in my house.  I would recommend them to anyone.

We called Marquez Plumbing on Jan. 2, 2017 not expecting to get an answer and less a same day appointment!!! We got both! They sent out Danny who was so AWESOME!! We had multiple problems, our kitchen faucet broke New Year's Day, we couldn't shut it off underneath nor could we shut off the main water to the house. The very next day we we called Marquez and they fit us in and even came early! What was even more awesome was that they called us about an hour or half an hour before Danny showed up to let us know that he was on the way, I have NEVER HAD such EXCELLENT service! Danny jumped right in and showed us exactly what was wrong and did his magic and fixed EVERYTHING! He was literally in and out in less than an hour and a half. The price was absolutely reasonable, we will be using Marquez Plumbing for all of our plumbing needs from now on! Thank you for your wonderful customer service, you guys are the BEST!

Marquez plumbing was a referral from a friend so I gave them a try.  I called them the morning after XMAS and a very polite gentleman answered the phone.  He had one of his employees Danny at my house within 40 minutes.  I had a plugged kitchen drain and it was an issue.  Danny was very professional, clean, polite and respected my home.  He was very responsive to my questions and concerns while he was here and he fixed clogged pipes after snaking the lines. It appeared challenging to say the least that my attempt with Drano wasn't going to solve but Danny got it done.  This company is local and I would recommend them highly.  Nice to find a company you can trust ...

We tried fixing it ourself, so of course it did not work!  We called Marquez, Frank Came out, showed us what went wrong, gave us options and fixed it! He did an excellent job, was friendly and prompt.  We will call this business again!

Plumber was pretty chatty and wanted to bill me for the total time. He was finished with the work but kept talking and tried to bill me for it. I had to call their office to get it worked out.

I had just moved into a new house and 1 week after being in my new home, I had a toilet backup then I discovered within minutes that sewage was backing up into my bathtub as well.  It was 9pm on a Friday. I called 6 different LOCAL plumbers that advertise 24/7 emergency services. Out of all of them only 2 called me back, Marquez and a guy who wanted to walk me through opening up my clean out. So clearly, I had no choice but to go with Marquez if I wanted to get something done that night.  It may have been out of desperation but it was a great choice.  The previous tenant had a baby and flushed baby wipes down the toilet.  The guy that came out was awesome. He took a look and let us know what he had to do and why, before he did it.  

Fast forward to yesterday (7/22/15), I bought a gas dryer and the gas line had been capped off but it was there and accessible.  I called Marquez first, they said they could come out on 7/23 but he called me back a few hours later and said one of the techs had finished a job early and he could send him out that day if I had time.  I didn't so I just opted for today (7/23). Kim, called me this morning to let me know that she was sending over a tech (I work from home so this was easy for me and I let Marquez know that, hence the calls to send a tech out).  The same guy that came out for my emergency backed up pipes came out again today.  Simply put he is awesome.  He did what I needed and BOOM, done! Seriously, these are my go to guys. They are fast and friendly. I don't have a single complaint.  Thank you again, to all at Marquez!

These guys are top notch! Called them to install a water heater and Anthony showed up and was great in installing the water heater even though it was a bit tough to get the old one out. He had to re-work the copper piping for the relief valve and also be creative in draining the old tank full of sediment and water. David was great also in communicating of when to expect them and even showed up to make sure I was good to go with Anthony. I will definitely call them up again. Their pricing is really good too.

Please consider Marquez Plumbing as your Go To Plumber. I talked to David on the phone regarding a problem I was having with my water heater. He realized (I didn't) that the issue was a warranty item and advised me to call my home builder for service. If he had not been so honest, I never would have realized that the repair was a covered item, at no charge to me!
His wife answered the phone, put him right on, and I was treated with concern and respect, even though they did not make one dime off my call. This is real Customer Service, and although I did not need him to come to my home, I will without a doubt call him next time for service!

These guys are great!  We woke up to a broken water heater on the day we were leaving for vacation for 2 weeks.  Our ride was to arrive in 3 hours...we called Marquez Plumbing and they were at our house within 30 minutes and had a new water heater installed an hour later.  We were certain this was going to cost us a small fortune but NO.  I highly recommend these guys if you are in need of plumbing services.  They are professional, efficient and fairly priced.  Honest professionals who appreciate your business.

plumber came out today because of hose break leak under my sink..talk talk talk..no action done except turn off cold water saying he needed a piece to fix cold water shut off valve. hot water line ok to use and is safe. doing dishes tonight with so-called only hot water...completely flooded under sink again and into my hardwood floors. no, my water system is not safe. had to turn off main water line again to save the floors and over an hour service to be paid for nothing but continued leaks

The first time I called he came right out and took care of multiple issues I was having and suggested some changes to my water filtering system.  I have now called them twice for another issue and to change my filtering system as he suggested but have gotten no call back.  I guess I will have to try someone else.

Kim Marquez recently reached out to me to apologize for the oversight on their part. Apparently they misplaced our paperwork and it fell through the cracks. I appreciate her taking the time to research what happened and follow up with me even though we already had the work done. I am re-reviewing based on her customer service. I would be willing to give them another shot based on her customer service should we have future plumbing needs.

If you ever need a water heater replaced this is the place to call. I started calling around to various plumbers in town at 5:30pm on a Thursday and had to leave a voicemail message in every case. Since Marquez was listed as an authorized service provider for the brand I currently had I decided to try them a second time in hopes of trying to get the part to repair. My call was answered this time and I was told that they do service my brand but did not have parts. A replacement was quoted and I made note and thanked them as I wanted to check around and compare the price with others in town. The next morning I made some calls and received 2 calls from the messages I had left the night before. In all cases I was quoted a much higher price than Marquez and nobody could come out until Monday at the earliest. I called Marquez back to confirm the price they had quoted me and they said they could be out same day between 1 & 3. I booked the job and made arraignments to leave work early in order to be there. I arrived home at 1:30 and they were loading my old water heater on their truck and completely finished with the installation of a new water heater. The only thing I had to do was sign the work order and they said they would send me the bill. I cannot express how relieved and grateful I am for the excellent service and more than fair price that Marquez Plumbing provided. They will get my business for any and all of my plumbing needs in the future.
