CK plumbing knows how to fix the real issue! Not only get paid to do what you told him to do!
I requested CK plumbing to replace a faucet because I found some black rubber debris from it. However, after examinations, CK told me that the faucet should not be the root cause. It must be somewhere near the water heater. I replaced the heater a few months ago and I even did not think about the root cause could be the heater/connectors.
I trusted CK and ask him to replace the connector. It shows that CK is right! The guy who installed the heater used a cheap connector and the O-ring cannot resist the hot water. The O-ring melt and emit the black debris!

My parents' water heater broke on Sunday, and I immediately contacted CK plumbing.  I've used Tai a few times already, and I was always very happy with his work.  Even though CK plumbing is closed on the weekends,  Tai was very responsive. I was able to schedule an appointment for Monday morning.

Tai arrived early and saw the water heater was definitely broken. He left to get a new one and quickly replaced the water heater.

My parents are extremely happy with the service. Tai is an honest plumber that also deals with water heater.  His pricing is affordable.  I've already recommended CK plumbing to my friends.

We struck gold with CK Plumbing!  After finding out our go-to guy didn't do sink replacements, I used Yelp projects to find someone in the area who could take care of this massive job--replace 20+ year old kitchen and bathroom sink fixtures (5 of them), and replace a garbage disposal.  CK was one of the guys who answered promptly and was very straightforward with a quote and forthcoming with other details and information.  He and his team were able to get over to my parents' home in 2 days time.  They worked quickly and efficiently, but boy it was a big job!  They definitely earn their money.

The end results were beautiful, and so far so good; no complaints.  We don't have to worry much anyway because there's a 12 month warranty on their work.  

Really happy with their service and easy communication.  Will use again if we have to!

CK was a very straight forward guy.  He quickly responded to my messages and came over to take a look.

Price is not the lowest but competitive and he really worked hard on our old 70 yr old house sewer which I don't know if it's ever been cleaned.

Update : Also had Tai replace the PRV.  Pressure around the house is now excellent!

Called Tai about a clogged shower drain and he came over immediately. I had already tried using baking soda/vinegar, 15ft drain snake, and plunger - all of which, did not work. Tai brought a motorized drain snake and said mine was too small, something I hear too often. He pulled out a ball of hair and was done. In and out within 10 minutes. I left the water on for 15 minutes and the water was draining smoothly. Will call him again for any future plumbing issues.

When the company we called did not come out, we reached out to CK Plumbing, and they did a fantastic job. The plumbing company to steer clear from is called Rooter Heroes. They will give you a time of arrival and not show up.

Tai was very responsive and professional. He took the time to come onsite and did an inspection of my broken bathroom faucet and explain what needed to be done.  I felt comfortable and knowledgeable when making my choice. He was on time and was so efficient on the day the installation was scheduled. My new bathroom faucet was installed smoothly and we were back running within an hour.

Would highly recommend CK Plumbing and will be saving Tai's contact info for the future

Absolutely the WORST experience.

We had a 911 emergency with leaking water at our house. Tai said he was going to show up the following day at 1p. Well, guess what - he never showed.

No big deal, right? Things happen, and I understand that.

Then the guy totally ghosts me on text, and stops responding to phone calls. Until he FINALLY picks up (accidentally I think) and scolds me for ... what? He said he showed up, but I was in a meeting. Does Tai not have my phone number? Does he not know how to send a text message? Instead, he just decides to leave without even letting me know he arrived.

Ugh. I'm still trying to get rid of the bad taste in my mouth ...

Have to say I'm very impressed with the service! CK is the cheapest option of all the vendors who responded on yelp and quickest to respond and got all the issues taken care of very quickly and efficiently.

I noticed my toilet leaked at night and it was about 10pm when I requested for quote on yelp. CK was one of the first few to respond within minutes. It was all smooth sailing from there.

Highly recommend! There was a slight miscommunication with scheduling. Just call the yelp number or get the owner's cell to confirm and it shouldn't be an issue. Overall really professional service and greatly exceeded my expectation!

Found CK Plumbing through Yelp.  I called on a Saturday at 5:35pm and spoke to Tai for an emergency very leaky toilet valve.  Tai came over within 30 minutes and fix the problem at the agreed upon price.  Thank you Tai!

Tai and his team truly deserve the 5 stars.

We wanted to relocate our water hookup and install an utility sink in our laundry room area but our situation was our laundry room is a converted garage so no crawl space, on a slab, and Mickey mouse work from previous owner. But that didn't stop Tai and his team to give us what we want. He even taught my fiancé a thing or two during the process!

-Tai didn't just give an estimate but a very reasonable quote and stick to that quote even after opening our wall and finding the mess the previous owner had installed.

-told him when he came to give us a quote we needed the job done ASAP as our washer and dryer is arriving in a few day, he came back the next day to start the project! Worked nonstop for 6 hrs straight!

-after cutting our wall open, his team put patched it up! We were surprised cause other quotes I gotten, way way higher price and we would be the one putting the drywall back up.

Will definitely hire Tai again for my plumbing needs.

Tai replaced the shutoff valves and faucets in my kitchen and bathroom.

He arrives at the promised time window, sometimes earlier (he texts when he's on the way). He makes recommendations without BS, but isn't pushy. He is happy to chat if you wish.

The cost of the repair wasn't cheap (prices have gone up for pretty much everything), but I'm happy with the service and would hire him again.

Didn't come at the agreed schedule appointment.
I had to txt him to find out what happened and he said he wasn't feeling well.  Whether it's an excuse or real, not reliable

The point I am making is, we had to contact you to find out that you weren't coming after 2pm.  You should have notified us earlier!

The guy CK is rude. He came by to diagnose my water leak in the garage and gave me attitude because I don't know where the leak was coming from. He discovered the issue but didnt fix it because he's busy and said he would come next Monday but never came. Then when he I called back he said I never said that and I'm busy and didn't offer to help.

I had a job done in the past and his work may be good but he has a really bad attitude. Seems racist to me. Would NOT want to work with him again.

CK Plumbing probably doesn't need my great review but here I am leaving it. It was top notch service!

I had a leaking kitchen sink and a bathroom shower of which the water doesn't get hot enough. I reached out to CK Plumbing through Yelp and I got a response within an hour. The initial contact was brief and efficient- we set up a time via text and Tai and an assistant came on the scheduled day.

In terms of arrival and punctuation- They visited twice for what I needed to get done (given that I only briefly described the issues over the Yelp request as I am not a professional.) Tai gave me a time frame and I did have a flexible schedule- they arrived about an hour early the first day, and right on time the second day. It worked perfectly for me but if timing is tight for you as a customer, I would suggest to be mindful on scheduling and communicate clearly about your need.

As service goes- they investigated both issues quickly and troubleshooted with very efficient and cost-effective solutions. Tai gave me a simple and easy-to-understand breakdown about what was wrong and how it was resolved. Of course, they had me double-check the fix while they're here to give me reassurance.

The professionalism and efficiency was five-star if not more. However, the cherry on top was that when Tai fixed my shower, given the service, he ended up not charging me. To give context- The shower issue was why he came back for a second day. The dedication extended to this day being a Saturday which they are closed. On the first day, Tai estimated the issue and cost which we agreed upon. As he actually got to fixing, he pleasantly found out that it wasn't as serious as he thought. He then quickly fixed the shower and left free of charge.

Now I'm not writing to suggest expect free service or they open on Saturday but to state that CK plumbing is a professional service with heart, it was transparency and honesty combined. I truly appreciated what they did and would not have expected the outcome from them nor other companies, yet I am fully satisfied with my experience and would highly suggest CK Plumbing to you have you experience any related issues at home. I called Sunday afternoon and was told they don't work on Sunday but can come on Monday. Tai arrived early and got right to work. He found another issue with my kitchen sink and asked if I wanted to fix it or wait for another time. I decided to fix the issue and he was able to fix a valve issue and install my new touchless faucet in less than 2 hours. He even helped me seal my granite that was cracking.

Great service and fast! I'll definitely use CK Plumbing again! I highly recommend them!

My house pipes were making a very annoying, high pitch noise (probably due to water pressure?)  I called CK Plumbing, and they were right at my door steps just under an hour of my phone call. Super fast, super responsive. Highly recommended.

Used Tai and team at CK to repipe whole house w/ copper pipes, replace my water heater, and install a water softener and RO system under the sink. Very professional, efficient and left the house clean. Wrapped up the whole repiping in a day. Wouldn't think twice before taking their help again!

We need help to install a new water line to the side of our house, so I check for a couple of quote from different vendor but many of them advice us to change the pipe for the whole house from Galvanized to Copper include CK plumbing. Ridiculously is the quote given by other company are double higher than what CK plumbing gave. I am not choosing the cheapest one because quality is the most important. After talk to Tai and he gave me confident on his work so I decided to hire him to change the pipe for our new house from Galvanized to Copper and also add another new water line, installing a new sink including the drainage.

They able to change the pipe in less than a day whereas the other vendor told me it needs 6-7 days?! And there will be no water for that amount of days. While Tai only shut the water for less than 5 hours (this is only apply to changing the pipe for the whole house, installing sink doesn't need to shut the water)
Advice to people is, you really need to check with a couple of vendor before decide to go with one.

Tai (the boss) can speak Cantonese, Vietnamese and English well. Hence in case you need help in explain in these languages he can do so.
His worker mainly speak Vietnamese but no communication problem as Tai will explain to them.

When they enter the house, they will lay the clothes (like red carpet) to the path they will use.
Well, I will actually advice Tai to change a new clothes as the clothes pretty dusty already (maybe I am too clean freak). However I appreciate they put effort on keeping our house clean.

They drill some hole on the wall but they help to patch it back which is soooo good and I get a lot of job done for my new house, not just piping, they actually didn't patch it back for you.

Tai is very busy but he try his best to help and give his sincere advice. Maybe he needs to hire an assistant on communication side.

Their workers are awesome too, no nonsense or wasting time. I like it.

I did not get service done by CK Plumbing yet, but I did call for an estimate. When I called, Tai picked up and give a very straightforward estimate for a tanked water heater. I also inquired about a tankless conversion, and Tai said he'll come by tomorrow 9 am and give him the address.

Tai showed up early and explained why a tankless wouldn't work. Then he asked what was wrong with the water heater. I explained nothing was wrong, but it was getting old. He told me to wait a few months to see if water heater prices will drop since they are at historic highs.

Tai seems like a straightforward, honest, old-school plumber looking out for his customers, and not in a rush to make a quick buck. When it comes time to replace my water heater or any other plumbing needs, I'll be calling CK Plumbing

I can't speak highly enough about the service from Tai.  He came to install a new under sink reverse osmosis system I had purchased.  Turns out that the spout included with the system was too short for my counter top.  Rather than just leaving, Tai went to a local warehouse to get the same model but extended length and finished the install.  I thought this was very nice of him as this took him extra time and I think a lot of plumbers would have just left and told me they'd come back when I have the proper part and/or charged me with a fee for showing up.  I'll definitely be recommending Tai and using him for all my future plumbing needs!

Can't say enough about Tai. Had a toilet leak issue. Tai pick up and schedule right away same day for end of day. Came on time. I know...crazy right?! He was super courteous. Talked about his background, family, and life. Solved the problem and even offered to give me a discount b/c the issue was simpler than he thought. I paid him in between what he quoted me and the discount b/c that was fair.

Blown away by him. I wish him prosperity and success with his business but good guys like him...word will get around.

Since CK Plumbing reviews are all 5 stars, I contacted it in additional to the default companies Yelps provided for getting quotes.  Now I understand why Tai's CK company received 5 stars reviews.

Since I requested for quotes on a Friday and the job is small, most companies set up appointment next Monday or request additional fee to come over and inspect on the weekend.  Tai came over on Saturday, on time,  to inspect at no charge and provided me with the best price when compare to some of the over the phone price quotes.
After the job completed, I have no choice but to provide another 5 stars review. I am 100% sure that I will use CK again in the near the future for many plumbing jobs I have with my aging 44 years old house.

My husband booked an appointment with him and he said he is so busy so we had to wait for him for a week. Finally he came today, but instead of ringing the door bell on the front door like everyone else, he came into our backyard, roamed around...??? My husband was working and I was busy taking care of our toddler, I thought I heard something and my husband went out immediately to look for him, but he already took off. My husband called him and he says he was there like 3 min (but our camera shows 40s), and thought no one was at home. Why not ring the door bell or call like normal people do? He has our contact number. He says he won't return now because he is too busy, he MAYBE will come back on Wed but hang up without giving us any time slot. Strange and unprofessional.

People contact plumbers because there is an urgent need. We contacted this company because of great reviews, local business close to us. But turned out to be a time waster and unreliable. We wasted an entire week waiting for him and now have to look for another solution. Why book a time with people if you have no intention whatsoever to do the job?

5 stars over 300 reviews seems unfathomable, but Tai & co earn every star.

We asked Tai for a quote to repipe our home a few months ago after seeing how much everyone else loved him. My wife was the one to show him our situation, and she said she got a great feeling from him - as if he were one of our own uncles.

After some lagging on our part, we let Tai know we were ready to move forward.

After his initial visit, and with consults from other plumbers, we were told that we'd have to find somebody to remove & replace the tile in our bathrooms. However, Tai came to take another look and let us know that he could do the job without requiring another contractor to handle the tiling.

So - just before Lunar New Year - Tai's team came to replace all the pipes in our home. Working from about 8-4, they finished everything at an impressive pace.

Unfortunately - one of our hookups was wrong, such that hot water (and only hot water) was coming out from one sink and cold water from the other. Not to worry, though - we let Tai know and he was back the very next morning, taking care of the issue in a matter of minutes (and showing me which connections were wrong).

Our experience with Tai was great and just like everyone else - would wholeheartedly endorse his work. Will certainly be contacting him for any issues we may have.

Highly recommended plumber. Tai installed the water heater for my tenant. I just made a phone call, and he installed it the next day. Recently my bathrooms were clogged. I spent money with another plumber, but it didn't solve the problem. Tai explained to me the problem and installed the clean-out. The work was done very nicely, and no more clogging. Save money!!!. So happy I have Tai to take care of my houses. Peace of mind forever.

Could not ask for a more reliable plumber. Needed someone to come out quickly for a minor job, called around and was quoted outrageous prices to repair a small leak. Tai showed up on time, changed the two valves within 30 mins.
I will definitely be calling CK Plumbing again next time I have any plumbing issues. Thank you CK Plumbing!

Thai and his uncle did great installing a water softener and a reverse osmosis filter for me. The setup was quite complicated but they worked around it and came with a great solution for our problem. Extremely nice people and reliable, what is quite rare these days at the Bay Area.

Update 10/3/21: Tai followed up and made things right which I really appreciated. He did a great job installing the natural gas hookup for my portable generator - photos attached. I can recommend CK plumbing for your plumbing needs.

9/27/21: Called CK Plumbing to get a quote for some plumbing work involving my natural gas line. Tai confirmed he would be at my house today (Monday, 9/27) between 10:00 and 11:00 am. I took time off from work and he was a no-show due to vehicle problems.

We called CK Plumbing first thing in the morning, after our shower handle broke off.  Tai was able to come out the same day.  Originally he was set to come later in the day but was running early and called to see if he could come earlier.  He arrived promptly and got right to work and not only replaced our shower handle, but was able to fix a drain we were having issues with.  He finished quickly and did excellent work.  I would definitely use them again!

What has not been said about Tai and his team? They get perfect score for a reason. Consummate professional, always punctual, ultra fast, super clean, immaculate standards of workmanship and competitive fair pricing .... not to mention, they are nice people? Why would you want to work with others?

I called them once, and has been working with them ever since. So has my neighbors, friends and my close family members. They are all part of the Tai the Typhoon Lifetime Fan Club members!

We've done, new bathrooms, water filtration system, faucets, RO drinking system, garage utility sink, rusted pipe repairs .....etc. Never disappoint .... each and every time. Just makes you trust them more and more.

If there is a 6-star category, or an annual Yelp Best-of-the-Best SuperStar Award? They will get it.  His fans will come out and vote in droves. Try them, you won't regret it, and you'll probably become friends/fans.

CK responded to my message right away (in 30 minutes). He was very straightforward about the pricing and super professional. We had a leaking shower faucet, which he was easily able to fix in less than an hour. He also arrived to our place as he scheduled. Definitely would recommend his service! Really impressed with Tai's service. We needed our water pressure reducing valve replaced, and he came and took care of everything so quickly. Tai happened to be working on a job very close to my house, so within 10 minutes of initially calling him, he came by to do an assessment and provide an estimate. He came back 1 hour later with the parts and finished all the work within 30 minutes. Highly recommend CK Plumbing!

Tai maybe a good plumber based on other reviews but when it comes to water heaters, I would recommend to STAY AWAY. His quotes are among the lowest but I realized that he cuts corners and uses components that other professionals don't consider as the best.

I had a direct vent water heater but Tai came with a regular atmospheric vent water heater with a conversion kit which is a safety issue. I was not comfortable with the conversion hack, so he suggested that I could use a power vent water heater but he didn't tell me upfront that I would need electrical changes done. He got the power vent heater and THEN tells me to call his electrician friend who will charge extra to put a new electrical outlet that is drawn from the main panel.

I got frustrated with his lack of communication on both instances and started doubting if he will even do a good job that will pass inspection, so I told him to take the water heater back and I will look for someone else. He told me that he will charge me $250 extra to return the heater. So I had to return the water heater myself.

The other water heater company that replaced my water heater told me that it's a really dumb idea to try to convert a regular water heater to direct vent water heater. Also the gas line and the new water supply lines that Tai was going to use were not recommended and none of the pros prefer those.

Lesson learned - You get what you pay for!

Great service.  Our Delta shower was dripping water & needed to have the cartridge replaced.  CK Plumbing doesn't charge a fee for an estimate, while others will charge a $95-150 fee just to come out. They showed up on time,  & got the job done at a reasonable price.  Highly recommend their service.

Reached out to CK plumbing in the evening and Tai responded that night. He came over the following day at noon, looked at the area and listened to what I was looking for. Noticed a bad leaking water pipe last night after several towels soaking it up we turned the water off for the night. Early morning we called him to come take a look and he immediately. I'm a prior customer of CK Plumbing so I contacted Thai to inspect a potential water leak in my front yard. When he arrived and from his inspection, to our surprise it was due to recent heavy rains and our landscaping pooling water in low elevation area. See pic.  No broken pipes, leaks of any kind wahoo!   Then icing on the cake ... when I inquired about an initial fee Thai responded with no charge! I'll take that any time ;-)

We discovered a leak under one of our bathroom sinks recently, as well as an issue with the standpipe into which our washer outlet hose dumped its water.  We messaged Trieu over Yelp and he was quick to respond.  We arranged for him to visit and inspect our issues this morning.  He arrived early and, upon listening to our issue and visually inspecting the washer area (in our garage), and the bathroom sink, understood what needed to be done.  

For the washer, he explained what the potential issue was, what was missing (the old iron piping was no longer up to spec, and the washer installer did not link the outlet hose to the standpipe correctly.   The issue involved a missing P-trap, and the piping should have been routed in between the studs (our garage is not finished).  He offered to link it back up to the pre-existing pipe that sat unused between the cold and hot water shutoff valves mounted between the studs.

For the bathroom sink he took a quick look, observed where the drips were coming from, and knew what he had to do.

He arranged to return with tools and parts at a later time in the afternoon, and again showed up promptly and quickly set to work.  He cut off the old pipe and arranged the new piping neatly, routing the pipe through one of the studs (after drilling out an appropriately sized piece).  Prior to installing the new piping, he brought out a long snaking machine to clean out the vent pipe via the cleanout access hole.   After working on it for 20 minutes, he found quite a bit of old fabric that had been lodged deep within the piping!

For the bathroom sink, he noted the parts were rather new (the house had been renovated about 2 years ago, before we had moved in), and so simply tried tightening the shutoff valve nut more.  We had tried this but didn't know how much more we could actually tighten it.  After his further tightening, no more drips!

He accomplished all this within his time estimate as well, and for a very reasonable cost also.

Many thanks to Trieu and we would again look him up if we encounter plumbing issues in the future!

The water heater stopped working early in the morning and I needed a plumber to fix the  problem, luckily I found CK PLUMBING. I was able to contact Tai and he came over to evaluate what needed to be done with the water heater. He told me that the water heater needed to be replaced and that he could do the job. It took Tai and his co worker about 3 hours to complete the install of the new water heater. He was very professional and did a great job. I will be using CK Plumbing again

Wow, amazing service.
Noticed a leaky pipe on Sunday, called CK Plumbing on Monday. Spoke with Tai, said he'd be over at 11am, arrived at 9:45!  Gave me an estimate, we agreed upon a price, said they could start the next day @ 8am. He arrived with a crew of guys @ 7:45! I was ready for them, just had a hunch they'd be here early!
I can't be happier with their service. Complete plumbing to copper and they did it all in one day!

CK Plumbing came by today to replace 2 sink faucets (3 piece faucets) and 2 toilet fill valves.  They did a nice job with all the work.   They were 15 minutes early (I suspect we were the first job of the day) and they were done in 2 hours.  With Covid-19 safety is a concern.  They arrived with masks on and took off shoes at the door.  They were able to give me a quote over the phone after I described the work to be done which saved an extra trip for estimate.

The work was clean, efficient, and well done.  They cleaned around each of the hoes where the old faucet hardware was removed before installing the new hardware which was nice since the new faucet handles are a little smaller than the originals.  The toilet fill values were efficiently done.  At the end they walked me though all the work done to demo the working sinks and toilets.  They also warranted their work for 1 year.

This plumber is not professional at all. He was one hour late for the appointment and lied about why he was late. Photo sent to him before appointment. He is obviously not capable to identify the material and scream at me. This is really shocked to see a dishonest and incapable plumber having 5-stars. If he continues to pay yelp to take out all the bad reviews, then we should stop using yelp as well. This is a plumber can create more harm to your house.

This man is amazing and selfless.

I had a leak from the bottom off my washer and after several YouTube videos and experiments I thought I had figured it all out. I reached to 10 washer appliance repair vendors and plumbers for an estimate and their prices were upward of $400-$500 not to mention their availability was not easy to get. Also the work order involved leaving a giant hole in the dry wall.

I call this man and instead of fleecing me he tells me he ain't available but may have a workaround for me which doesn't involve any major alterations . He explained how my understanding of the the way the washer and main water valve actually work is incorrect and helped me fix the part of the puzzle I had being missing all along .

Instead of replacing the shut off valve which doesn't work when turned off let it be open and replace the hose which maybe leaking and let the washer stop valve do it's thing and stop the flowing water.

Now that's professionalism and kindness which will go a long way. Merry Christmas to you sir.

Tai was awesome! Super friendly and super faster! Our bathroom shower decided it didn't want to shut off anymore. My husband tried fixing it but no dice. He finally asked me to find a plumber. I found Tai on yelp and he answered my questions over the phone. I sent him pictures of what I was talking about and immediately he gave me a quote and said he could be right over. He literally showed up faster than a doordash order lol.

He spent maybe 30 mins getting the shower fixed. He even mentioned normally if it's not an emergency he will make an appointment but he knew we'd be without a shower for Monday morning. Our house is old and we get rusts in our water.   Called up CK and Tai was able to come within two days.  His advise to me was to repipe the entire house.  Initially I was hesitated because I know it's going to cost a lot of money.  But after they removed the pipes and I got to see what they look like, I'm so glad to go with his advice.  The crew came and did the entire house in one day.  They even helped me installed a new faucet and hooked up the fridge.  Thanks guys.  I'm so happy and relieved knowing that I don't have to deal with rusty water anymore.

Tai responded quickly and was able to come on a Saturday to upgrade the waterline for our new fridge, which was dropped off in the garage because the fridge installer found out the current line was installed incorrectly and refused to connect the fridge. Tai was amazing! I had tried to replace an angle stop valve for my toilet on my own but screwed up badly. I wasn't able to take off the new valve I tried to put on and it was leaking, so I had to turn off the water for my entire house. I had to go a day and a half without water and I was calling plumbers left and right. Most were either too expensive for me or weren't able to schedule me for another day or two out. When I called, Tai answered and was able to get me a fast, affordable, quote and scheduled me for the same day. When he got he arrived, he was really nice and asked me how I was doing. He was able to remove my stuck angle stop valve for my toilet. He struggled as I did, but removed and replaced it within 20-30 minutes. The job was clean and everything worked perfectly afterward. We exchanged pleasantries and he went to his next client. Seriously would hire again if I had another plumbing issue. Fingers crossed I don' t need to though LOL

Saw all the great reviews on yelp and needed help with my kitchen sink that was flooding. CK Plumbing could only come the next day so I made it work and waited since it got so many positive reviews. The next day, they looked at the street parking situation and told me that they could not come inside. Refusing service because they were unwilling to find street parking is not a good enough reason. They shouldn't have left me hoping and then just drive off. Very poor service...

Fast, clean, and reliable service by CK Plumbing which literally made my horrible day into a good one.

I am a happy customer from Tai and his teammate's service. My condo's washing machine's original valve's started to leak. I sent him a video link via Yelp messenger and he gave me an accurate quote back. He also ended up changing parts for both hot and cold side. The next day when I thought I still had a leak from my valve splitter. He educated me on closing the valve to stop the pressure first. Solved. Responsive to yelp messages.

Please ensure you know where your main valve is.. luckily we found our groundskeeper to help us figure it out. Also note he takes cash or check.. no credit card.

I signed up for yelp just to leave this review. We had a leak in the backyard and wasn't sure if it was from the irrigation system or the pipe to the hose. In trying to figure out the issues, we found other plumbing issues. (Seriously, when one thing breaks, other things break too.) Either way, we needed professional help.
I had a horrible experience with another plumber (pulled some sleazy sales tactics to get me to do business with him and overall made the water issues worse), so I really appreciated that Tai was honest and didn't try to swindle me just because I'm a woman. He was responsive, efficient, knowledgeable, and my mother-in-law really enjoyed talking to him. (It's always great when in-laws are happy).

Our water heater went out and based on other reviews I called CK plumbing. I spoke with Tai and within 45 mins he came by to evaluate the situation and provided pricing to repair or replace our unit.

I must admit I called around and got other pricing but Tai's pricing and warranty was the best! I texted Tai we wanted to proceed. He came the next day and within a few hours we had a new hot water.

Tai and his assistant were professional and worked quickly. When they were done they cleaned up and it was as if they were never there! I am soooooo happy to have hot water again!

I contacted this plumbing service through yelp and didn't get a response until after almost 9 hours on Monday. I made an appointment for a shower water heater repair and was given an appointment date of Thursday at 10 am this same week, which was great! Thursday comes around and it's almost 10:30, no show, no call, I assume they're maybe running late and forgot to let me know so I called and they said they forgot and rescheduled me for the next day on Friday at 10 am again. No show, no call. Again. How does a five star business of 200+ reviews do something like this to a customer and not have any explanation ??? I expected better service from this business and I still have yet to get a call with explanation as to why they did not at least send a message or call back. Would not recommend this business unless you want to sit around waiting for a plumber that doesn't show up.

I can attest to the fact the 5 star reviews are for real. From a busted garbage disposal on Saturday night to an upgraded ultra quiet garbage disposal on Monday morning, it doesn't get any better than these guys. They may not be donning corporate uniforms when they show up but you know that all your $ goes into service and products rather than frills. I voiced my concerns regarding PPE as well in this sensitive time, and both of the gentlemen that showed up were properly set up when they knocked on the door.

These guys can't come more highly recommended! A++

There is a reason these people have such good reviews.  They came and installed a rather complicated water softener at half the price of one of their competitors!  And, they did it with superior pipes and connectors.  Their quote isn't the most detailed, but the work they did was worth every penny!

Our water heater's pilot light went out and wouldn't turn on again. Our home warranty American Home Shield, rated #1 in the Bay Area, doesn't use vendors that cater to customers on the weekend, so we went through an entire weekend of soccer games with no hot water. Monday morning, the vendor they assigned to us finally called and gave us an appointment for...Thursday. Seriously?
Found CK Plumbing on Yelp, and called at 10am. By noon my water heater was up and running. Tai will personally answer the phone, be at your place within a couple hours, give you a reasonable quote, and an estimate for how long the repair will take. We were lucky Tai already had the part we needed to replace. He worked quickly and neatly, and asked us to give him a call if the water heater gave us any trouble. Been telling all my friends!

Sunday late afternoon kitchen sink faucet burst and water flooded our kitchen. First thing I did was turned off the hot/cold water under the sink.
My husband and I tried to fix the problem but since we don't have all the tools plumbers use we need to call for help. Called Ck plumbing and apt set up for next day. The plumber came on time and did his job, he had a hard time removing the old faucet, he told me the price in the beginning. Took him 30 minutes to complete the job. I was trying to give him extra money due he really had a hard time. The guy did not accept the extra cash and said the quoted price was all I needed to pay!  He was nice friendly, job was well done. 2 thumbs up!!

Based upon our home inspection, we knew we needed a good plumber to fix our cracked pipes and other miscellaneous issues.

After doing his own thorough inspection, he found quite a few things that the inspector had missed. He took the time to carefully and thoroughly explain all the issues and how he could fix them.

Though we could have gone with a cheaper (and potentially less reliable) option through our home warranty (they used the same inspector who missed all the issues), we decided to move forward with Trieu.

We are very happy with the quality of work and service that Trieu has provided. It was worth every penny! He even fixed a leaking faucet pipe under our sink for free! We wouldn't hesitate to call him again in the future. THANK YOU Trieu!!

We had a handyman install a new garbage disposal but there was a problem with the plumbing, so he wasn't able to finish the job. I was in a panic because I was having guests at the end of the week, and we couldn't use the kitchen sink. I called CK Plumbing, Tai answered right away and told me that he was available to come the next day. The next day, he arrived on time, re-plumbed and connected the garbage disposal. He also fixed a couple of slow draining sinks in our bathroom. He did an excellent and professional job, and worked efficiently. He also told me that if I had any problems, to give him a call.

I have used plumbers in the past, but I was very impressed with Tai's level of professionalism, excellent customer service, and reasonable rates. He also didn't try to give me excuses or reasons why he needed to do extra things or charge me more. I definitely felt that he was fair and honest. And, in my experience, contractors of any kind are not always responsive and rarely on time. I will definitely be using CK plumbing for any needs in the future, and recommend him to friends and neighbors.

Tai had availability and was at my house in half an hour.  He wore a mask (as did I), and kept his distance.  He fixed the disconnected pipe under the sink, by putting in a longer pipe.  And he showed me how to take off the faucet head in my kitchen sink to clean out the silt that was blocking the pressure at no extra charge.  I had been soaking them in vinegar, which removes the white calcification(?), but doesn't touch the stuff that looks like sand in the little screen.  So much water pressure!  Makes me look forward to washing some dishes!  
I don't know what is reasonable but I was happy to pay $100 for the fixes, so it was reasonable for me.

Called these guys after waiting over a hour and a half for a call back from one of the established plumbing companies in the Berryessa area. Tai came over the next day a half hour early and took care of a clogged shower drain with a 30 guarantee... no extra charge for weekend.... I may have found my go guy

I am adding to this I have called these guys 3 more times and have always been dealt professionally, Tai even came out over memorial weekend for a emergency with a water heater. They should change their name to A 1

My kitchen sink was clogged and I messed up when I tried to take off the P-trap. Tai and his helper came and I explained the problem to them. He's very quick to understand and treats me with respect. His prices are very reasonable. Because he had the snake out, I also asked him to take a look at my bedroom sink that had a slow drain too. He quickly agreed and helped me fixed that too. Even though things were busy, he didn't forget to smile when explaining things and conversing. Overall a very hard worker and a nice guy. A+.

I would give this business a zero star if I could.

The experience with them was very upsetting. I do not usually leave review, but this time I have no choice.

Originally Tai gave me a quote for $2000 to do the sink installation. I found that price competitive at that time ( not any more after I interviewed few more others), and based on these excellent reviews on Yelp, I feel Tai knew what he was doing and preferred to let him take on the task. However started from then on I could no longer communicate with them in a reasonable, acceptable way.  Most of the time, they (Tai and Trieu) did not respond. You would think they were busy or because they weren't good at English. No, that was not the case, they actually were on Yelp Message all the time.  It was just that they chose to respond or not. I had a bad hunch that they were going to raise the quote and it turned out I was right.

After informing them I had all materials ready and would like them to set up a date, they asked to come inspecting again. I was so baffled and asked why they needed to come again. No answers from them. I had to message them so many times asking if they forgot the scope of the task so they needed to come check again. No answers and no answers. Finally I had no choice but agreeing setting up another appointment on Tuesday ( they chose the date). On Tuesday, they backed out the time and said they would come on Friday. On Friday when  I asked when they were going to come,  they then claimed that they came to check already ( so they didn't need to come, well, isn't that what I had been telling them?) and they said the price would now be $2600.

I feel like people should be aware of how they run their business. He wasted so much of my time trying to communicate with them. I would not appreciate their lacking of professionalism and dishonesty.

These guys fixed the water pressure in my house, they were able to diagnosis the problem quickly and knew it was our house water filtering system that was old that was broken.

They explained options and pricing, and did not force us to opt with the more expensive route. They were able to just disassemble the filter and re-route the piping. It really did fix the problem.

It was a quick process. They knew to take off their shoes when entering. Very polite, considerate, and competitive pricing.

I really appreciate CK plumbing. Tai was awesome! Super friendly and super responsive I need an emergency plumbing service. I found Tai on yelp and he answered my questions over the phone. I sent him pictures of what I was talking about and immediately he gave me a quote and said he could be right over even it is already 5:30 pm. Did a great job repairing outside main water line valve issue and save my day for no water.

A valve was stuck so I couldn't install our new dishwasher machine. They were very responsive over text and came out the next day (on time!). They were very friendly and did a free inspection of what I should look out for with under the sink. They were fast and was very communicative on what the issue was and what needed to be done. I would highly recommend them.

I have had a leaky bathtub faucet since a different plumber came out to fix my diverter many months ago. I recently had a handyman come out and work on it on three different occasions and it still leaked.

I requested a quote from CK Plumbing and Tai replied quickly and said he would come out the same day and give me a free estimate. He showed up exactly on time and evaluated the problem quickly and gave me a quote. I agreed to the quote and his team showed up the next morning to do the work.

They replaced my nasty, leaky 3 handle knob set up and corroded faucet with a new one handle Delta fixture and fixed my leaky main shut off unit also. They took the time to do the job right and didn't charge me by the hour. Tai also included a 90 day warranty.  

For the first time in a very long time, I don't hear the constant drip from my tub and the new fixtures look great. I highly recommend CK Plumbing and will use them again.

Wow, these guys are fast! I noticed a leak coming from the knob of the main water line on the outside of the house. Called these guys and they were here in 30 minutes. They gave a reasonable quote for the valve replacement and started on the work right away. 1.5 hours later the repair was done and everything looked and worked great. I highly recommend using CK Plumbing!

There is nothing bad that I can say about CK Plumbing!!

I reached out to them on Yelp Thursday morning and got a response within 10 minutes (talk about not wasting time). The very same day Tai came out to my house to inspect the leak and gave my mom a free estimate. Unfortunately I was at work so I didn't understand the invoice but Tai had no problem coming out again to my house (the same day) when I was off work to explain in full details of what needed to be done and how much everything would cost. Next day (Friday) him and his crew came out to repair our leak and everything has been working properly since then.

Very respective and knowledgeable and I would definitely recommended them to anybody who needs any plumbing services done. Thank you so much Tai, you guys did an awesome job.

Excellent service! We made an appointment for the company to meet at my place at 4. They communicated quickly. Resolved my issues and did it at a relatively good price! Very high standard of knowledge and was very polite about taking off his shoes.

I usually don't want to waste time to post on yelp. Just check others reviews. This time I think have to write something about This great guy's service.
Here is my story: big customized house, long 200 ft pipe to the tank, from clean-out port.
Thursday I found black water coming out of clean-out, called some plumbing company and individual contractors, most of them dont have time since I can only be home after 5pm. There is only one company came, called $15 xxx,  this time the contractor said he can't move the machine over the 1 foot retaining wall. I offered help, he said he has to call another contractor, that will create double labor charge. I have to let him go.

then  I called Trieu. he came in 30 mins, he got the same problem, can't move the machine in. the machine is about 400-500lb. But Trieu find a smart way to put the machine in without damage the wall.
Before he start, he stated all the charges, if the snake wont work, what he will use and how much it will cost. tell the truth, not expensive at all.$99 for the snake, $250 for the hydro jet.  I used over 20 plumbers in recent 20 years in Bayarea, I know the price.
The 100 feet snake din't work, then we switched to 200 feet hydro jet, disappointingly not working again. I was giving up.  but Trieu re-arrange the truck again, moving it closer to the clean out, about 3 feet more closer. this time it worked! it was the other end of the pipe got blocked, it was in the tank, wrongly designed.

Trieu only charged $250 for the total. it was about 3 hours!

This guy really has a can-do attitude. always think on the clients' side.

Some other plumbers, when you talk to them, you will know what they want is easy job, $30 mins work, take money and go.
I said to Trieu at the last, I learnt from him a lot today, not the plumbing skill, but also the hard working attitude.
Don't think some job is not worth your time and efforts, you will gain what you paid. even though when you have a lot of clients and reputation someday in yelp, keep the good work and good attitude, you will be finally successful. This is to encourage me myself as well.

Contacted these folks for a quote to repair a toilet leaking at the wax seal on the base.  Not only did CK give me the best quote, but I was very impressed by the polite and responsive tone of their reply.

Thieu came out the next day and redid the wax seal.  He couldn't find anything obviously wrong with my toilet, but he resealed it anyway and now it doesn't leak anymore!  They guarantee the work for 3 months.  Two weeks and so far, so good!

Tai immediately answered my call, arrived early the next day to provide us a quote, ordered the parts and completed the repair the following day. His quote was fair and reasonable. I contacted another plumbing company who asked me to send photos of the repairs needed and then I had to contact that company the following day for the quote - no interest shown in providing a quote or doing the repair. Tai is an honest professional and did great work. The work included both kitchen faucet shut-off valves and drain pipe. Highly recommend CK Plumbing and will definitely contact Tai again if any plumbing repairs are needed.

I called Tai on a Wednesday and he said he would be at my place on Friday.  He showed up on time, looked at the work that I was requesting, and told me I needed a few connections.  He gave a price and offered to come back on the weekend to do the job.  Again he showed up on time and got the work done.  I think it took longer because of the age of the home but he honored his original price.  

I won't hesitate to use him again if I have any plumbing needs!

This review is overdue.  We had our water heater go out back in mid-February.  Another company not worth naming wouldn't come by to help us without our landlord being present and we didn't have time to wait.  Our landlord was ok with letting us handle it ourselves without him being there.

So I called CK Plumbing and Tai was out within 30 minutes.  Turns out it was a thermocouple that needed replacing.  He was friendly, knowledgeable, and quick!  The price was very reasonable.

I hope we don't need his services again, but if we did, I'd call him.

Trieu has come to my place multiple times now:
1) Removed sediment from hot water heater and replaced heating sensor
2) Snaked sewage line and identified peoblem section with a camera (others did not). Tricky location means costly repair, so he provided pointers to avoid future problems,
3) Shimmed under the floor to fix toilet leak and shower drain including a little carpentry to stabilize toilet
4) Pointed out a couple of potential problems with cartridge in shower faucet and toilet valve. Offered cheap fixes that I went for

I needed a garden faucet replaced, and called CK Plumbing late on a Saturday afternoon because of the excellent reviews.  I was not disappointed!

Trieu said he could come by That Evening to fix the problem and quoted a very reasonable price.

He arrived early, fixed the problem in just a very few minutes, and even offered to replace another corroded faucet for a discounted price.  SOLD!!

I paid him a little extra in recognition of his prompt response and excellent service.

CK Plumbing will be my first call from now on!

The brothers who operate this business are extremely friendly and professional. Tai came out initially to snake the clean-out line, but within a few days I had the same backup problem. Trieu came out the same day I called him, on a holiday, and ran a camera down and showed me a pipe full of tree roots. He gave me two options, one being economical but temporary, and one being permanent. I chose to have the roots removed through water pressure (economical option), not knowing how much manual labor it would require on his part.

He spent almost 3 hours wrestling with the equipment to clean out the septic line, and showed me pictures on the camera every step of the way. He was also kind enough to allow me to pay him the following day, since they do not take credit cards and I did not have cash on hand since the bank was closed for the holiday. That is excellent customer service! He was very accommodating and I am extremely satisfied with their courtesy and work ethic.

Wouldn't you know it, both toilets backed up as well as the shower and bathtub. It was a mess... and on a Saturday afternoon. I checked Yelp and made several calls to various plumbers. Trieu seemed knowledgeable and could come out within 2 hours. I've had several plumbers since our main line has tree roots, so every couple of years it gets clogged, but I've never had anyone so professional, friendly,  informative, and high-tech! Trieu went under the house and took photos to show me what was going on there. Then he went on the roof and used water pressure to clear out the pipe, and then he put a camera in the pipe to who the extent of the root damage. We were impressed, especially when he took the time to answer our questions and mark on the lawn where the problems were occuring. We'll definitely be using his services again.

I thought I could unclog our kitchen sink drain using rented snake simply by watching Youtube video. Wrong! I only got the snake stuck in the pipe and an angry wife.

So glad I called Tai. He was very responsive. He managed to pull the stuck snake out of the pipe and then unclogged the drain. Very skilled workmanship.

I had a water heater gushing water over a holiday weekend.  The first plumber did not return my call assuming he left town for the holidays. I called Tai late Tuesday evening.  He was by the next morning to assess size and type of  heater.  Unfortunately I had a doctor's appointment that afternoon but he said to go ahead as he won't need me present.  I returned from my appointment 90 minutes later and a new water heater was in and my old one in his truck.  They even clean up the dirt and water mess from my original flood.  Tai and his crew  was prompt, polite and efficient.  They stuck to their original quote and did not do add ons like some dishonest contractors do.  I am please with his service and would not hesitate to call him again.

Highly recommend CK Plumbing.

My kitchen sink was clogged and CK Plumbling was the only plumber who was available to come within the same day with reasonable price quote. He started by snaking the pipes but to no avail. he told me snaking the pipes would not fix it and asked to check out the crawl space. He identified the problem, took pictures and explained the current problem. He gave a very reasonable quote and let me think about it with no pressure. He left without charging me saying he hadn't fixed the problem so he couldn't charge me for doing anything. When he came to do the job, he was on time and took care to keep the house clean. He also warranties the work. I will highly recommend CK Plumbing to anyone! They are honest and do the job prompt!!

Thai Thai and Henry are the best!  They came out on a holiday to fix a squealing toilet, replace the ring in another toilet, and my older 3 handle shower handles and stems that had worn and gotten stripped so that I couldn't turn the water on.  He came by in the morning to take a look and quote me and then came back a few hours later with the parts and finished the job fast and for an excellent price!

Thai always answers his phone and is very responsive, fast, and such a hard worker.  He also always does an excellent job!  

Thai is also very connected in the contractor/home repair community so ask him for referrals if you need other work outside of plumbing done.  Thai always knows somebody else that will do a great job for a great price!  Last year, Thai referred me to his friends for electric and HVAC work, and I just got a referral for landscaping work when he finished this job.

CK plumbing is amazing. I originally called a few months back about a backed up laundry drain. He gave me free advise and did not charge me. Today he came and repaired a running toilet with parts ready for a very reasonable price. He was on time, efficient and wore a mask and cleaned up. I am very impressed and appreciate his honesty. It is a joy to leave a positive review here for the service which I just got.

I contacted several plumbers when I got kitchen sink clogging which I was not able to repair by myself. Tai from CK plumbing was one of the quickest ones to respond on that evening. I exchanged a couple messages including a quote estimate and decided to work with him.

He was able to come on the next morning. His work was thorough and left no mess at the work area on top of resolving the issue.

Tai just finished a very extensive plumbing job for us (we live in the Cambrian area of San Jose). On time, under budget and did a wonderful job! We contacted CK for a quotation at noon, he replied in an hour and OK to come to take a look today, no charge. He showed up as he promised, quickly pinpointed the problem and gave a reasonable quotation. Total work take about 2 hours , and issue fixed. All these finished in 5hours.

Do yourself a favor and call these guys for all your plumbing needs. Called them around noon about a leak in our water heater and the first thing they asked was to text them my address so they can come out to take a personal look! Turns out my unit needed to be replaced so they left to go pick up a new one for me. These guys really go the extra mile for your satisfaction. My water heater unit was located in a tiny shack outside so you had to take off the doors and hinges to remove the old one and they even did that for us. All in all my unit broke at noon and I was back up and running 3 hours later. Really excellent service with fair prices. Highly recommend CK Plumbing!

This one goes for Tai. I am not the usual Yelper  but occasionally, you do come across Technicians and Mechanics when you feel like giving 5 star ratings in return of their services.

My story goes like this. On a Sunday morning  our bath tub faucet broke on us and being weekend, it was hard to find someone who was available, forget about, getting honest and genuine person who can rescue and not charge you unnecessarily and take advantage.

Cut story short, he was one of a dozen people, I called but the only one who answered my call and immediately was at my place in about 20 mins.

Not only he found the root problem but he also did the whole house inspection at a very nominal fees and we did discuss about all the problems around my house.

Finally, back to the original issues, he did identify the issue but being a Sunday we did have no other choice but to wait for the part from a local warehouse. Meanwhile, he put back the broken part as a temporary solution and as promised showed up next morning with a new part of same brand and about an hour or so we were back to our normal life of 2 days ago.

I am impressed with his honestly, integrity and workmanship and would definitely recommend him to others.

He will be my future happy-go-lucky plumber and handyman for any issues.

My water heater at my shop failed after 10 years. I contact Tai @ CK plumbing and he pick up the phone right away. He gave me a quote and I was able to schedule the appointment the same day. It took him about and hour plus replace my water heater and test for leakage. He went out of his way to vacuum the water and clean up the area around the water heater.  Tai is very knowledgeable, professional, and just a great guy to talk too. I will definitely use him again at my business and home.

I needed a sink installed and one of our old filtration systems removed so I gave Tai a call and set up an appointment. I'm usually at work so I usually call and set up appointments for my mom if there are any problems with the house. According to my mom, Tai was one of the best that she has ever dealt with. We had a crack in one of our sewer lines in the crawl space and we didn't find out until months later. Of course this had inevitably created some filthy mud pools perfect for a new formed bug habitat with unbearable smell (how we found out!). CK responded to our request immediately. They inspected the damages thoroughly with very helpful pictures, as we didn't want to get muddy smelly wet, explaining the problems in details with a layout of what needed to take place for the repairs. They worked extra long hours to make sure we were back online in the shortest time possible, as eating out and not being able to do laundry for days were not in our best interest. Thank you, Trieu!

If you need honest and professional repairs, I strongly recommend CK Plumbing. I don't usually write Yelp reviews, but understand the frustration of homeowners trying to get good repair services without being screwed over. Just passing my experience along. Best of luck, Yelpers!

Had a plumbing backup this morning and need a quick plunge.  Tai and his employee answered and was at my home within 2 hours on a holiday.   He was friendly and calm and went straight to work.   Within 15 minutes, he had my pipes snakes out and unclogged.    Explained the problem of an offer part underground, and said it would be more economical to just call him in 2 years for another cleaning instead of fixing the offset pipe under the lawn.   Good work and fast service.   Will do business again if I need a plumber.

We had a clog, search nearby plumber and found Thai( CK plumbing). Thai was very responsive, professional and reasonably priced.
Came to the house within the expected hour and took time to go through the problem until it was completed. Even hose off the dirty area when he was done.

Very pleased.

He fixed my clogged sink and replaced a value, in record time.
Cost was very reasonable and he even wiped up area under the sink (a mess not made by him nor the water) before replacing all my cleaning supplies.

They deserve more than 5 star rating!  This is the second time we contacted CK Plumbing to help us replace our faucet.  Last time, it was our bathroom sink faucet, and this time, our kitchen faucet and check the leak under the sink.  We received their response and set up the day and time for them to come.  Trieu (I hope that was him, hard to tell when we're all wearing mask nowadays ) was awesome as usual.  He showed up early wearing a mask (which we appreciated ).  He checked the problem and immediately told us that we can save money just by replacing the faucet hose and not the entire faucet.  And here we thought that we have a bigger problem!  He replaced the hose and made sure it is working properly.  Trieu is the best and we truly appreciate his honesty.  He never took advantage of his customer and that is an amazing characteristic of a person.  We will definitely call them again for if we need a reliable and trustworthy plumber.  Thank you so much Trieu!  We truly appreciate your help!

We woke up this morning with the backyard flooded and the pipes banging. We didn't know what to do and we shut off the water and started calling plumbers off Yelp. Most didn't pick up or they weren't willing to come that day to see what the problem was. Tony picked up our call immediately and came home within 10 minutes. He realized we know nothing about taps or pipes and explained to us very patiently what the problem was. He was able to identify and solve the problem in minutes and even refused to take money from us because he said he didn't do much to fix the problem. 5 stars to Tony for just being awesome at his job and for being an awesome human being. Will definitely recommend him to anyone who has any plumbing issues.

I am giving ck plumbing a 5 star review.  They put in copper plumbing, installed a new water heater, new kitchen sink, new bathroom faucet all in ONE DAY. The cost seemed good

There were two semi problems.   The crew basically did not speak english so it was hard to be sure we were communicating.  

Also, they supplied the water heater.  They said it was a better quality unit. But the reviews on the internet were kind of bad.  If i had it to do over i would supply the water heater myself.    So far no problems

All I can say is if you want professional work for a good price call CK Plumbing. After getting several quotes I'm glad I chose them. Tai came out on Friday. We agreed on a price and he and his guys came back the following Monday. Tai and his team removed my old water heater and installed an outdoor tankless water heater by the end of the day. Everyone was masked up and they left the place clean. Honest guy that knows his stuff. Just call him already!

Tai came to my rescue on a Saturday afternoon & fixed my shower in about an hour in total!

In addition, his customer service skills are excellent. He explained what needed to be fixed, his worksite was very clean & he checked in with me after the work was done to ensure it was correct.

To top it all off, his prices were FANTASTIC! Much less then previous plumbers I've used for the same issue & way less then some of the quotes I got over the phone. I highly recommend using his services!

We had an emergency from water heater burst.
I called CK plumbing and Tai came within 1 hour.
It was already late of the day. He rerouted the piping so  the leaking stop but we would still have water to the house.
He cane early the next day to installed the new water heater. While he was doing that , he replaced the old piping to make it simpler and better.
He was professional and courteous. The job was done perfectly in about 3 hours. I'm very happy with the result. Definitely will call him again for future plumbing needs. Thank you Tai for such a great job you did!

Trieu came to my house same day as the call. (A previous plumbing company we had called two days prior and made an appointment with cancelled after the appointment window and said they could not come out for two more days). Trieu was so professional and knowledgeable. Because it was late in the day, he was unable to go on the roof to snake our toilet but he was able to determine that we could use one of the two toilets and the showers. He came back this am and hydro jet cleaned the drain after investigating the clog with the camera/video. He also gave us ideas as to how to prevent this from happening again and ideas as to how we could handle it in the future if the same thing keeps happening.

Then, after he had packed up to leave, we noticed a leak under the kitchen sink. He came in and fixed it in about 10.  (We were so lucky he was willing to do that and he was still there).

Trieu is such a nice guy. Good pricing and didn't try to sell us something we didn't need. We will not be using a different plumber.

We had previously worked with another plumbing company and were unhappy with their service. We ended up with something that still needed to be repaired in a timely manner and so we spoke with Trieu through a request a quote. He came out to our house that evening and quoted us a better price than the previous company, which included better materials, plus took more time to explain exactly what needed to be done. This helped us understand why the job was more expensive at both companies than it appeared looking as a layman. Even better, the work included a 1 year warranty.  Trieu was very professional and we will be calling again if we have future problems!

I not only got ripped-off for repipe but the workers left litter all over my house, inside and out. They left cigarette butts outside my house, left empty soda can/water bottle inside my house. I told Tai and he picked-up some of the litter, but not all. Even though my house had all the drywall ripped out (due to water damage) and Tai did not have to do any drywall work, he charged me full price and even tried to tack on an addtional $200! No, I do not recommend CK Plumbing/Tai. He was rude when I called him afterwards for follow-up. No thank you.

This summer we had a leak and weren't sure if it was the A/C or Water Heater, they sit side by side. Based on reviews we called CK. They were very responsive and said they can repair both.  Came out for diagnosis (no charge). Said issue was water heater which had to be replaced.  I asked several times if this wasn't an issue w the A/C. Tai said no. He replaced the water heater the next day, total cost $1200 including labor of $600.  Seemed fair.  Again stating no issue w AC.  The next day the same problem persisted and I call him to come back and look at the AC. He said they don't repair AC.  What started as a good impression ended feeling sleezy.  We called Fuse and they came out immediately and fixed the AC.  I gave 2 stars because he was responsive and maybe the wh did need replacing but he lied about doing ac repair. It was still bothering me 5 mos later that I had to post. JFYI.

This is my first ever review! Our water heater stopped working yesterday. Being the manly man that I am I tried to fix it. Oh dam the pilot light is not on let me try to re-light it without blowing up the house. Dang thing wouldn't stay lit. Google said the thermocouple thingy is probably broken. I am not manly enough to fix it! Called a few top rated plumbers. Nope..too busy, too small a job. Called CK Plumbing. Sure Tai will come over in an hour and take a look. A crawl space leaking found during termite inspection turned into a roller coaster ride?

Two weeks ago a termite inspection company informed us that there was a pool of water down at our crawl space as a proof of some water leaking from either of our bathrooms.

Called first plumber over and got a quote of couple thousands to fix a section of sewage pipes down at the crawl space.

A second guy came gave a contradicting finding saying no leaking found from the sewage pipes but rather from the broken toilet flange but an estimate of a couple thousands still quoted.

Frustrated and confusing we were, found Tai from CK Plumbing. He came promptly the next day, spent only 15mins checking down at the crawl space asking to flush both of our toilets a couple times and determine the issue  was from the broken toilet flange in one bathroom. A very fair quote is given and now we are leaking free!!!

We are now observing the fixed flange and have a peace of mind at home.

Tai came to my rescue this week! I am a Realtor and I have a house that was about to hit the market. The home inspection came back saying there were active leaks and the water heater needed to be replaced. This was two days before I had to be on market!! Trieu was flat out fantastic. He called me back right away (got lucky got his phone gets blown up all day long). I asked the honest plumber to come by previously for a quote on repairs found on a house inspection and, strangely, he said nothing needed to be fixed. Trieu came out promptly for a second opinion and found several major things that needed to be fixed. Not only that, he walked me through everything he found and explained why things were so extensively damaged, some of which even the house inspector failed to mention. Trieu gave me a fantastic quote - very affordable, fair and competitive. INCREDIBLY thorough. He fixed the problem within a few days, flexible with his schedule to accommodate mine. I love this guy. My water heater was leaking and I called several plumbers most were quoting me $1000 just in labor. The first one I called told me 2900 when I asked for a breakdown he responded, here's the breakdown, you're not going to find it installed any cheaper. I'm not going to give you a breakdown. I was floored and called the next then luckily Tai. He came out and was by far the lowest quote. He was able to install ASAP. He replaced all water and gas lines even though he could have reused the old ones. If you need a water heater call Tai! He'll give you the best deal, respect your home, and do a great job! One thing to keep in mind it takes about two hours to empty your old water heater so plan ahead. Thanks Tai!

CK Plumbing deserves the 5 star reviews.  I had a leak in my bathroom tub faucet, and I needed to have my kitchen faucet and the sink strainer mechanism replaced.  I found CK Plumbing from all of the great reviews on this site.  After giving them a call, they came out and gave me an estimate, which I thought was very reasonable.  I found the faucet at Home Depot, sent them a picture, and they were able to purchase it for me.  A few days later, they were here to do the work.  Covid-19 precautions were taken, which made me feel comfortable.  They did great work.  No more leak.  The faucet and the strainer look beautiful. I am very happy that I found this company.  They will be my go-to plumbers from now on.  Thank you for your help!

I had a broken faucet and stripped tub handles, Tai was easy enough and quick to respond to a message via Yelp. He came by on the day & time scheduled, fixed everything as requested, at a price that was more than fair. Next day we noticed there was an issue with the faucet (new faucet defective out of the box) - He came by, replaced it in a timely fashion, and simply put -- Along with doing nice work, leaving the place cleaner than he found it, Tai was simply a pleasure to deal with, and I dare say just a complete gentleman.

Last summer my sewer line started backing up, so I used my neighbors plumber to snake my line clean from my one and only 2-inch clean out.

My neighbor and I couldn't remember the name of the plumber we used last summer, so I went on the Nextdoor App to find a recommended plumber and had them come out to re-snake my line. They came out and tried to unclog my line from the 2-inch clean out, then offered hydro jetting it from my roof vent, but that the hydro jet equipment would have to accompany them on my foam roof. I didn't like this idea cause it could damage my roof, so I passed on the service. Plus it would of cost me extra for the hydro jet and video inspection .

After my disappointing experience with Nextdoor's recommendation, I got a call from Trieu with CK Plumbing to stop by for free to assess my situation and give me a price to unclog my sewer line.

I explained to Trieu what the previous plumber attempted to do and that I was not happy with giving up $150 for nothing.  Trieu figured out very quickly what needed to be done and offered to hydro jet the line to clear the blockage then video the line to find out what caused it for $350. His hydro equipment did not have to accompany him on my roof which I liked, and his video camera equipment was light weight.

Trieu made sure that I was there every step of the way during the process especially during the video inspection to make sure I witnessed the tree roots entering through the pipe joints causing and marked the best location location to install a larger clean out in line with house main line.

He marked the clean out location including the depth of my main line and gave me a price to install the clean out and cut the roots out with a roto-bit.

Trieu is my man and saved me again when my kitchen and laundry line backed up flooding my garage the next day. Trieu was at my house within an hour and cleared the line and made sure that it didn't compromise his previous effort on the main line.

I totally recommend using CK Plumbing for your plumbing needs.

We had a minor flooding in the kitchen/laundry area and it looked like the drains needed rooting. I called in CK plumbing and Tony arrived promptly to our place. He was very thorough with the inspection, went under the house and even pointed out some issues with the old pipes in the house. I feel their prices are fair and they do an honest job (which they could back with up a 30 days warranty).

Had a toilet leak in our upstairs bathroom, causing the grout between tiles by the toilet cracked, as well as damaging the first floor ceiling.  We thought something major and worried it could be the pipes were broken.  I called few plumbing companies, CK Plumbing was the only one answered the call and was able to come in that evening to look at the problem.   He found the cause of the leak within a couple minutes.  It turned out to be just a worn out rubber ring between the seat and water tank needed to be replaced.  He fixed it and the charge was very reasonable. We are very happy with the results.

After getting our countertops done, we were struggling to find a plumber to install our new faucet and garbage disposal at a reasonable price.  We had one person come out who we then had to pay to tell us they couldn't do it, others refused because of a piece of wood that needed to be cut.  Tai replied on a Saturday to our request and came in that Monday afternoon.  After reviewing the job, he said he could do it - and if unsuccessful wouldn't charge us (which I definitely appreciated after our last experience!).  He took the time to explain the process, and what he would need to do.  I didn't have to schedule a return, he immediately started working.  He had all the materials, except for one pipe, which he quickly ran to Home Depot to get and didn't stall the process at all.  After finishing, he made sure there were no leaks and even ran the dishwasher to make sure everything was OK.

Definitely recommend!!!  I plus all the reviews about honesty and best price!  We will be contacting them with our plumbing needs moving forward.  Thank you CK Plumbing!

I sent Trieu a message about my leaking toilet on Saturday night. He replied my message in a short time and told me he can come to check it on next Monday. But next day he just sent me a message said he can come. I was so surprised because it is Sunday! He then helped me to diagnose the root cause of the leak and change the filling valve and flapper for my toilet. He also did many tests to make sure there is no leak anymore.

I was having a bad leak from within my kitchen wall, water leaking out both inside and outside the house. I thought I was going to spend a lot of money to get it fixed. Tai came in and figured out it was a leak from my disposal and water went under the cabinet all the way to the root of the wall.

Reached out to 10 plus plumbing the day and only CL plumbing was able to squeeze us in the next day while the rest of them just said no availability. Really great service! I have had to have my shower snaked twice now. I got a great price and great service exactly when I needed it. After tenting my house, PG&E came out to re-light my gas pilots.
All went well until he tried to re-light the hot water heater pilot.
I was instructed to call a plumber.  After reading CK Plumbing reviews, I called.  Tai answered the phone  and arrive about 30 minutes later.
Unfortunately, there was a broken part, so Tai gave me a reasonable quote on installation of a new tank.  He installed this in less than 2 hours and ensured that I was satisfied with the work.  Tai is professional, honest, knowledgeable, and reliable.  I would recommend CK plumbing to my friends.

Tai is a honest and responsible guy. I am very happy with his work.
To make a long story short, I called CK Plumbing about a toilet clog on Monday. Tai send two technicians in on Tuesday. They unclogged the toilet at a very reasonable price. Everything seems to be fine on Tuesday.
However, on Sunday, the main line was clogged again. I called Tai and explained the situation. I didn't expected him to come on Sunday. But guessed what? Tai said he will come at 11:00am to take a look. Not only did he come, he fixed the problem. And best of all, he didn't even charge me a penny more for the Sunday trip.

We needed to replace our pipes (galvanized steel pipes were corroded from the inside causing faucets to clog regularly), and wanted to go copper.  CK Plumbing gave me a GREAT price, and they completed the entire job in just over a 1/2 day (finished at about 2:00PM).  I have no leaks, and now no worries thanks to CK Plumbing! I thought I was in need of a toilet repair so called CK. He was quick to answer and schedule an appointment for the same day. He was right on time and assessed the situation. Turns out I didn't really need a repair, he fixed the problem without having to replace any parts and was in and out in 20 minutes. Also, he did not charge me for the visit. Thank you Tai!  Messaged him about a block in our kitchen line and he responded in less than 15 minutes, gave me some advice to tie us over until the morning (I knew we could wait until then), and he showed up exactly on time at 8am the next morning.  Very professional, quick, and fixed the problem (plus another unexpected one) in less that an hour all while we went about our normal morning routine.  He also cleaned up the gross sewage gunk that was left behind in our sink as a result of the clog.  His rates were more than fair (cheaper than other quotes I received) and he even took Venmo (saved me a check woo hoo)!  He's now my go-to plumber.  Thanks again!

I needed some old leaking angle stop valves replaced in my house and have my water heater flushed at the same time.  I requested a quote from them and they replied promptly and was able to come on the same day.  Communication was excellent in both texting and over the phone.  Trieu was able to arrive on time despite some afternoon traffic.

Trieu was very professional and did a great job.  This was from a couple months ago, and there has been no leak since.  I may be able to replace the valves myself, but it'll be very messy, and having the peace of mind of having a pro job is worth it because water leak is no joke.  I was impressed that Trieu even went the extra miles to explained to me how the different style of angle stop valves work, and how the water heater work, and how to maintain the water heater for longer life span, and how to flush it if I want to do it myself.  And finally, his price is very reasonable compare to other quotes I've gotten.  Some plumbers don't even have time for small jobs like this during busy season.  Overall, I highly recommend CK Plumbing.

I would recommend CK Plumbing to anyone, anytime!  They were, professional, quick, very good at giving the options and what it will cost.  
I called on a Sunday and left a message concerning a leak in a drain pipe under the house.  I was sure that I would get a callback no earlier than Monday.  Instead I got a callback within an hour. Tai said that he could come out the next day.  He did, found the problem, fixed it, and then discovered another clog in the process while testing.  He took care of that and discovered that there was a slightly leaky kitchen faucet. I asked if I could make an appointment to have that installed and instead he said he would install it same day if I had the product. I immediately went to procure it, came back and he did the job.  It was all perfect and he gave a guarantee on the piping work as well. In addition, he arranged with a contractor to repair the outside wall that was part of the pipe repair (scheduled for the next day). There isn't a way I could have asked for more. I'm going to call on him for some other new installations I have planned.  Just an unbelievably pleasant surprise!

CK Plumbing? Any time!

I had water back up in my bathrooms. First I called one plumber. He came out, and said since I didn't have a clean out installed, there wasn't much he could do. He suggested replacing the whole line, at $2,800. He said he was cheap. But my head still spun.

I called another one, for a second opinion. Just by phone, he said that if no clean out, he couldn't do much. So no help from the second one.

Both said they wouldn't do the flushing through the roof vent, because I have a tile roof, which would break.

I was disgruntled. Didn't want to give up, so I called CK, too.
Trieu came out. Assessed the situation. Explained what's going on in PLAIN ENGLISH. No terminology that I don't understand, like the previous two guys. He climbed onto the roof. I panicked, because both other guys said no roof because it's tile. Trieu was surprised. He said, I'm not taking any machines up there, just me and the hose. So he did. He flushed thru the roof vent. After that, I ran the water for about 5 minutes inside the house. After that, Trieu took his equipment with the camera to the roof and took video of the inside of the whole line, all the way to the sidewalk. Then he showed me the video. We saw some roots at the sidewalk area (responsibility of City of San Jose). Other than that, the line was clean. Trieu suspected that the problem occurred in an area close to my house, where the pipe narrows - the narrowing was visible in the video - and if paper got stuck there the wrong way, it got clogged. Well, now it was clean. And to think, if I fell for the first guy, I would have paid $2,800, to replace a good pipe...
This way, I only spend a few hundreds... and tipped Trieu, too. He deserved it.

Professional, honest, skilled, courteous, fair pricing. That's about as much as I can ask for from a service provider. Trieu was able to come diagnose a plumbing leak the day after I messaged him. He was able to repair the toilet drain for much much less than a different vendor who diagnosed the problem wrong and made it a much bigger issue than it really was. Was the other contractor swindling or made an honest mistake? I won't ever know, but Trieu fixed the problem correctly and quickly.

I usually don't hover and let the person do their work, but Trieu actually encouraged me to come watch and explained what he was doing (incl personal tricks), what to watch out for, and proper maintenance.

Hands down the most reasonable and honest company I have worked with. Trieu responded on a Sunday within minutes of sending an inquiry. I told him about a leak caused by the plumbing shared by my kitchen sink and wash machine. He was in my home working on the problem less than 30 minutes later. I have to say I am really impressed with Tai's responsiveness and honesty.. I reached out to him via Yelp for a quote for some plumbing work and he not only responded quickly but was able to come by to my house the very same day!! And best of all, even though he was over for a free estimate , he took care of one of my issues for free.. thanks to him our hot water is  back on in the master bathroom.. I have had multiple people over for an initial estimate and none of them disclosed this specific issue was such a small problem, let alone fixing it like Tai did in under a minute ! We had a plumbing emergency today because the handle in the tub broke and we couldnt turn off the water. Thankfully my dad was able to shut off the main supply until they came. One of the best encounters I had with a plumber. He was quick, friendly, professional, and on top of that very funny. He made an embarrassing situation, comfortable.  I requested a quote at 6:30 am and got a response within 10 minutes. He came here in less than 20 minutes around 7:10 am. His arrival was so fast I was actually shocked and to meet someone that friendly in the morning is truly amazing. It took him less than 5 minutes to fix the clogged toilet and he also proceed to give us advice on what to do, so that we wouldn't have to keep calling a plumber. I can't say enough good things about Tai at CK Plumbing.

I thought I had a water leak somewhere from the main water line from my house to the street but couldn't be sure because the valve to the main line was broken. I called CK Plumbing to come take a look. Tai showed up, took a look, and said that most likely that is where the slow leak was but couldn't be sure until the valve was replaced. He gave me a quote for replacing the valve and for fixing the leak by digging a trench and placing a new water line. I was going to be gone for the weekend and he was going to do the work while I was gone.

Upon my return, I saw that the valve on the main line had been fixed but there was no sign of a new line installation. When I spoke with Tai, he said that he didn't do the work because the was sure that the leak was not in that area and that it must be somewhere inside the house. He could have easily just done the work and I would have never known! He came over at my convenience and took a look around the house. Turns out the slow leak that we had been looking for was in one of the toilets. He went out, got the part, came back and fixed it. He also dug out a piece of material that had been jammed into the garbage disposal in the kitchen sink.

So, he fixed the valve, the toilet, and the disposal and did not change me once cent more than the original quote for replacing the valve on the main water line! All of this with a friendly personality and a warm smile.

The next time I have a plumbing need, I will absolutely call CK Plumbing!

My water bill went off the roof the previous month. Called couple companies on Yelp and their were able to point out the root cause but the price is out of our budget and time to fix requires me to take extra days off from work. I tried CK plumbing and they offer to finish the job in one day or money back with reasonable price. These guys worked hard and explained in details what needs to be done since my main water line is leaking. I was skeptical if they can finish in a day because they have to saw concrete and a lot of digging. I'm impressed that their team finish the job before sunset and left me a clean site when they left. We had an emergency plumbing situation in our bathrooms over the weekend and sent a request for quote on yelp. Trieu was the first to respond almost middle of the night . He could diagnose the problem right away; provided an estimate and set up an appointment to fix the problem. He did an excellent job and got our bathrooms to function. He also gave us tips and suggestions to avoid problems in the future and  was extremely helpful in explaining the problems and showed us the cleaned sewage line with a camera.

This plumber is highly recommended, I had him service my toilet and he got it done in 20 mins and no more water leakage. On the way out he actually discovered a more serious problem of the water main leakage issue when he heard a strange sound coming from the underground sewage, which he then helped to resolve it next day. We have had CK plumbing unclogged our kitchen and bathroom sinks. Trieu is always on time and very professional.

For the bathroom sink, he has to come twice (first time tried snaking, and second time with water jet), but did not want to charge anything until the problem is resolved.

Woke up to a leaking toilet I thought it might be a simple fix that I could do myself but after removing the toilet the metal flange was completely rusted away so I called a few places and wow I was getting quoted prices that were way more then I expected or could afford in the neighborhood of close to $1,000. after calling around I finally came across CK Plumbing and I described the problem and Trieu was at my house within 20 minuets. as soon as he seen the rusted flange right away he told me I had options, needless to say he quoted me pricing that was fair, explained  to me that I had a choice of two different ways to fix my toilet Not being a rich man I really appreciated him being honest, Trieu replaced the old rusted flange with a new replacement in less than an hour. My sump pump stopped working this winter. I asked a quote on Yelp to estimate the replacement and Tai was the first to response to offer a free inspection and estimate.

Fast response and be on time! Tai is really friendly and quick. He installed the strap to separate two pipes and cover the sewer pipe to prevent the touch from the pipe. Also, throughout the inspection, he found pipe problems more and will fix them.

We had an emergency on Friday night.
A shower head started dripping water from a month ago. So, I bought a cartridge to replace it. (I do most of the things on my own - replacing faucet, etc)
But, when I try to open it to replace the cartridge, the rough valve cracked and the problem got much bigger. Since we did not have any separate valve to stop the water for the shower, we had to turn off the water for the whole house.
The leaking shower itself was not a big deal (we did not have to use that shower immediately), but the fact that we had to turn off the water completely made it very difficult to live in.

I contacted 5-6 plumbers that advertised as open late or even 24 hours on yelp with 4.5~5.0 STARs. But, not many of them answered the phone or replied to my quote request through yelp at all. Only a couple of guys replied me, but they were available on Mon morning.

Tai from CK immediately responded by text message. We talked over the phone and he promised to come by 12pm on Sat. I asked for an earlier time and he said 11:30am would be the earliest.

Trieu (Tai's brother) showed up at 11am with a 30 min courtesy call. And, he was able to fix it in a couple of hours.

Unfortunately, we had to open up the outside wall to replace the rough valve, but it was the only way.

I would not say they are the cheapest, but they were very professional and did a great job.

I would call them again when I have another emergency. I hope I wouldn't have to.

I've called this company on two occasions for plumbing issues. Trieu fixed our perpetually clogged bathroom sink, replacing our landlord's amateur plumbing with a p-trap and new drain pipe under the house. He explained the proposed solution, and provided photos of the corroded  pipe under our house. Pricing was upfront and fair.  I called again this week for a clogged kitchen sink-Tai came same day and explained the problem, fixed the clog,  and left everything very clean and working perfectly. I had an issue with my bathroom sink getting clogged up and i tried removing the p-trap and tried to clean the line manually. Unfortunately, that didn't cut the job. I gave a call to CK plumbing at 630PM and Tai graciously accepted to come take a look after 8PM. He was on time and he pretty much did the same steps that i did initially and he used his electric snake, but the results were no different. The water was still clogging. He went to the crawl space and found the pipe and used the clean out to clear the blockage. Thanks to Tai for his time and effort again this late in the night, i have a clear running sink :) Highly recommend his services for any plumbing needs based on my experience.

Tai was professional and efficient in replacing my kitchen faucet. I had searched out quotes and plumbers and CK Plumbing was the only one that responded quickly. Tai came and assessed the problem and even came back the same afternoon to complete the repair. He estimated the job would take 2 hours and he was done in just over one hour. He explained what needed to be done and was upfront will all costs. I would definitely call Tai again.

Spent the day looking for a reasonable plumber to unclog our drain. We finally found CK Plumbing and he was here within the hour. He located the cleanout connection ran the snake from the front of the house to the street. Job finished.
I don't  think there is a company out there that can beat the service or the price. Believe me I tried.

We had a water heater leak over the weekend so needed to get it replaced asap. Tai was fast to respond to my request, showed up on time to diagnose the problem and provided a quote which was reasonable as compared to other quotes we had received. Next day he arrived on time with new water heater and started working on it right away. He ran into couple of unexpected issues with water softener piping and air vents but worked couple of hours extra to take care of them without charging us above the agreed upon price!! He cleaned up well after his job and also provided couple of tips for other minor issues we had. Definitely be using Tai's services again!!

BEST experience. I called many (10) companies. After describing the situation and location of my home (the house is on hill side) , 6 companies told me that they can't help me over the phone. The other 4 came to my house and gave various excuses and delayed the work to next day.
CK Plumbing was the 11th company I called. Tai came to my home within 45 minutes and took care of the problem within about 30 minuets. Although accessing the location was difficult, Tai and his partner were truly professionals and handled the job. They not only took care of the issue, their price was half as much as all other companies.
Truly the best service and price. My family and I are grateful.

Just stay away from this guy and his plumbing service. This guy is fucking rude as hell, he doesnt even know what good customer service is or how to talk to customers. He came to my property to check the blocked  sewer lines by running down the camera and I asked him couple of questions as to how to unblock it but he wouldnt answer any of my questions and he thought it was a waste of his time, as if he was doing it for free. It was fine until then, but then while in the process of finding a clean out he stomped on my plants arrogantlywithout my permission. When I told him why did he do it, he replied is that a fucking plant?.. I told that ignorant prick that its winter so its withered but it blooms in summer and then he started getting into an argument with me with the intention of a fist fight! I even offered him money in the end for his services but he started cussing and went away. This guy is not worth your time and money. At any cost, stay away from this guy and his business. If there's a way I could report him and his business to yelp, I would have done it straight away.

Tai was really helpful from the get-go.
We didn't want to have to get a new water heater so I called around to a few places and the best-rated ones on Yelp were really rude about it. One guy even said, we're gonna go ahead and pass on the job if you're not going to get a new one. Your water heater is too old and that's not worth our time.
Tai explained to me what they could try to do with such an old water heater and said he would come out and take a look at it for me. He came and saw that this thing was long gone and showed me why we needed a new one and even pulled up a diagram of a water heater and explained how they worked.
When we worked out which tank to get and when they would come replace the old one he explained in detail how to maintain my water heater so that this wouldn't happen again for us. Seriously, such a nice guy!
They worked with me to get the cheapest solution to our problem and they were flexible with us as they figured out how to replace our 70g. tank with a smaller size to save us money.

Thank you guys for your hardwork and kindess when completing a job well-done!

Trieu is just amazing! I called last night and Tai (Trieu's brother) spoke to me. My parents house had a water leak in their ceiling and water was dripping down onto the first floor intermittently. The ceiling was above the bathroom shower on their second floor. We were really worried that this was going to be a big hassle and a lot of work.

First off, I was happy that even late at night Tai answered the phone right away and committed to be at the house first thing in the morning. Trieu showed up early in the morning which was awesome since they understand the urgency. He then started asking us questions and debugged the issue step by step. He told us that he needed to open the a small area of the ceiling where there is water leak to check and see where the water is coming from. He is very systematic in how he debugged the issue. In the end, he discovered the we did not have any water pipe issue. And that the issue is that we just needed to caulk the surrounding area of the shower. The charge is super reasonable and I think if we had call another company, they would have charge us double or triple. Trieu is trustworthy, very honest, personable, and funny too! We are so happy we found them since CK Plumbing will be our go to company for any plumbing needs from now on!

Tai Thai was the technician that came to our home. I called CK Plumbing because our shower drain was clogged. Tai gave us a ballpark estimate over the phone to just give us an idea what we might expect. Tai was at our home in less than an hour. He was very careful entering our home as not to drag in dirt. He cleared the drain quickly. He did not try to sell us any extra services or tell us we had problems that didn't exist. He cleaned up after himself and washed out the shower pan and the floor. Tai's price is competitive and he even gave us a discount because the drain blockage cleared rather quickly. We will definitely call CK Plumbing for our future needs ;) an honest day's pay for honest work.

I usually don't do reviews but I must provide feedback for Trieu who saved us from disaster today. Had an emergency with a faucet and couldn't shut off the main valve. Although Trieu was already overbooked today, he understood my desperation and came over within 20 minutes, right before the water was about to spill over the tub. Even while he was fixing the faucet he explained everything and answered all my questions. I can't thank you enough!

I called Tai on July 4th after a pipe under our house burst. We were going to be out of town for the holiday, so he had us shut off the water, and said he'd be out the next day. Tai showed up on Friday and within a few minutes told us we needed to switch over to copper pipes. We weren't surprised since he told us this last year. Our pipes were 50 years old and corroded. We agreed on a reasonable price, and his workers came to our house at 8:00 on Saturday. They started replacing all of the pipes and had it completed in one day! They did a great job with little mess. This was our 3rd time using Tai and we'll be using him again in the future.

Scheduled for Sat at 10am and didn't show on time so I called him. He says he's off to an emergency for another client. Fine, so I rescheduled with him for the next day at 11am. But why didn't he contact me to let me know? Next day, he doesn't show up again so I call him. Tells me he's on his way but then asks for my address??!! Absolutely ridiculous. How are you on your way when you don't even know my address. Completely unprofessional and has no regard for customers' time. I'd stay away and find someone who has professionalism and communication skills.

Tai came the same day to find out where the leak was coming from and fix it. Which was the upstairs shower pipe that was dripping into the wall and down into the kitchen ceiling. He had to make three trips (my fault on not ordering the right part) and he eventually got and just gave the part to me. Which was much nicer than the one I order. I can't say enough about the ease, speed and quality of his work! There is a reason why this guy has perfect reviews.

He also advised on how to avoid the problem and order correct shower drain protector. Price charged for the task was also very reasonable. I would highly recommend him for any plumbing needs.
