I used these guys to install water filters and also address general plumbing issues I had around the house. They were able to do jobs that other companies that quoted me either said they couldn't do or would do for much more.
Excellent service, high quality work, and value and also very personable and friendly. I would definitely recommend and will use them again.
We were moving from electric range to gas and needed a new gas line.
Rene came over to our location for inspection and he provided a quote which was very reasonable compared to the quotes from others. His quote included city permits as well.
His team (Sergio and one other guy) came on an agreed day and finished almost on the same day. They revisited us again once I had my gas range delivered to finish up the final connections and setup.
Overall Magnificent plumbing did an excellent job. They were prompt, fast, very efficient and finished the job clean. In-fact the city inspector who was onsite appreciated their work.
Will definitely consider them for my future needs and recommend them to my friends.

Our kitchen sink was backing up and leaking. It was also effecting our laundry room sink. I called to see if someone could come out at around 4pm and they showed up 4:15pm! They were able to identify the problems within a few minutes of being there. Apparently the plumbing company I had used previously 2 years ago when I installed a new garbage disposal didn't do a great job tightening the brackets and they had all rusted which was causing the leak. The crew also cleaned the clogged drains for me to ensure proper water flow and replaced the bracket on my garbage disposal and tightened all the screws. I also had them look at my toilets and they made some recommendations free of charge on some simple fixes we could do on our own to save us some money. Highly recommend this company!

Hey Edgar that was 22 minutes, not 20 minutes!
Yes, that's correct. The plumber took 2 minutes longer than he estimated. Okay okay, I can live with that!
Seriously, the professional young man, Edgar, was very quick at a garbage disposal installation.
This company is a little different than other contractors. They first provide an estimate at no cost or obligation to you. Then you can decide if you want to proceed.
So Edgar checked out the new disposal to make sure it would fit properly, which it did. I authorized the repair, and Edgar noted that it would take about 20 minutes. I was pretty sure it would take me 20 hours, so this seemed like a good trade-off.
After he got the new disposal installed, he carefully checked to make sure there was no leaking from the sinks or the dishwasher. Yay! can now use my garbage disposal!
So all in all a professional, courteous job at a competitive price. Plus, no extra charge for those two minutes.
Needed a pressure regulator replaced, as our old one was registering greater than 95 pounds. Rene answered the phone on a Saturday. Sent pictures as requested, and was able to provide a quote over the phone. Julio showed up on Monday, and replaced the regulator as well as recommended the valves to be replaced as well. Irrigation valve was leaking as well, which I didn't notice until Julio pointed it out. Replacement was done at the expected price, and all has been smooth. Thank you for the easy experience. Highly recommended.
We discovered a leak in the ceiling in our garage. It turns out the pecan pipe cracked at a coupling. Francisco arrived in about an after after I had called. I appreciate the quick service and how quickly Francisco was able to find the source of the leak. He was very careful in cutting the Sheetrock so that he can replace it later. Thank you Francisco! Now I don't have to worry about it over the weekend. I highly recommend this plumbing company.

Transparent pricing, clear communication, and quality service. Called, and was able to easily schedule a free estimate for a CCTV inspection, and from there was able to coordinate the work. I especially value their timelines as I needed to also coordinate with Castro Valley sanitation (CVSan) to ensure the inspector would also be there at the time of work.
Great to work with, would recommend.
We've used them a few times and have been impressed each time. They've done some big and small jobs for us and they do a great job every time. Very respectful, responsive, efficient, thorough and good at what they do. Everyone we interacted with was helpful, nice and skilled. They were decently priced and explained all the charges point by point. They were patient with my kids and as a woman, I appreciated how well they explained things to me-- very respectful. They came within 2 hours on a Saturday and gave me a free estimate before doing the job. Their price was $75 below another plumber. They cleared the clog in about 30 minutes and cleaned up after. I liked the fact that they didn't charge a service fee and if I hadn't approved of their bid there would not have been a charge. I highly recommend Magnificent Plumbing.
Our front yard, right up against our house, flooded with all the rain because our sump pump stopped working. The gfci was tripping so we thought it was that. After calling an electrician who replaced the gfci, it still wasn't working. We then called a plumber from another company who came out. He literally did nothing other than standing over our pump saying it was electrical, even though we just had the gfci replaced. We then called Magnificent who came on time, was super friendly and professional. He showed us where the pump failed (and it was the pump) gave us a very reasonable price and installed the new pump. He was very thorough in his explanations and we will absolutely be using Magnificent for our future plumbing needs! I highly recommend!
Simply put, the best plumber we've worked with in the East Bay Area. Replaced our lateral sewer line, communicating along the way, cleaning everything up, and charging a reasonable amount. I highly recommend the company.

We've called them twice on short-notice to get a clogged sewer line cleared, and both times we got them here in ~12 hours or less. Their prices are fair, availability and responsiveness excellent, and they've taken care of us quickly in unfortunate circumstances.
Contacted them yesterday and they were available today at 1pm. They arrived on time and determined all I needed was to tighten a loose screw. Didn't charge me and was very professional. I had several plumbers within my contact list and all of them have been deleted, but Magnificent Plumbing. Great experience!
Our toilet bowl was clogged all of a sudden, right before the holidays. Plunger, dishwashing liquid with hot water, snaking nothing helped so desperately needed help at short notice. Magnificent Plumbing fitted us on the schedule the same day on urgent basis and got the job done in a few hours. I recommend them for any urgent plumbing/rooting work .

I'm very happy with the outcome of a HUGE plumbing project by Magnificent Plumbing! A team led by Julio and Sergio spent 2 days replacing a broken section of 50 year old clay sewage pipe. That may sound like an overly long time but it really wasn't; they had to work within THE tightest working area imaginable, barely large enough for one man to stand in, and dig down 6+ feet in old rock hard soil, and then dig further sideways a few feet from the bottom, in order to make this repair.
Magnificent Plumbing was very well equipped to handle this job, they had all the necessary and up-to-date tools to do the job correctly and as quickly as possible. The job site was a muddy dirty mess while they were working (add to that the smell of sewage that had been moldering in the ground for eons, ugh!), but they cleaned everything afterwards, and the site looked the same as before the job started.
Rene, owner of Magnificent Plumbing, knew how desperate I was to get this project completed, as I had already been without use of my home's drainage for 4 days by the time the property owners got on it. Rene scheduled us in as quickly as possible (seriously, I was so amazed at how soon he was able to come out from day one to investigate, as other plumbers wanted to push me off 1-2 days), and he ensured that 811 was notified quickly in order to start the minimum required 48 hour timespan to allow for inspection/clearance of all lines (PGE, phone, cable, water etc.). At THE very hour the inspection deadline would end, he had us scheduled to start the project. The techs showed up right on time both days, and stayed well past 6pm.
Needless to say, Magnificent Plumbing will be my go-to company for my future plumbing needs!

Edgar did a great job in explaining the 2 possible solutions to my pipe leak problem and after trying Option 1 which was a quick fix initially which he had warned might not work, he started working on option 2 which was a more permanent solution and got that done in a few hours.
All in all I was very satisfied with the time it took to fix the problem and the cost.
We had some leaking with noticeable water damage. When we feared the worst, we contacted Magnificent plumbing. They responded quickly and arrived on time. Upon arrival they were able to determine the problem without cutting too much of the dry wall, and fixed the leaking pipes the next day!! They were very reasonably priced, and honest. We selected them based upon reviews. We do have a home warranty but decided to chose our own contractor and pay out of pocket because we knew Sergio would get the job done, and it would be done the right way. Thank you Sergio!!

WHY WASTE YOUR TIME?!? Call MAGNIFICENT ASAP!!!! I am a realtor and needed a sewer and pipe inspection done for the house my clients are closing on. They answered and set an appointment with me in 4th of July! Awesome points for that. Showed up and knocked out the work. Renee, the technician we were blessed with was extremely knowledgeable and respectful about being clean in and out of the house. Airdropped me videos asap and gave detailed explanations about any issues we did see. I really appreciate Magnificent Plumbing and hope to work with them again soon.
We had an appointment for tmrw but something opened up so Magnificent got us in today. Edgar came by and handled the work and even did a little extra. Great job very professional.
Magnificent Plumbing is 100% MAGNIFICENT! Called Monday and they were able to come out on Wednesday the same week to inspect, test, and replace our PRV (pressure regulator valve). Our water pressure wasn't even 30%.
I received quotes from other plumbers that were 50% - 75% more and they wouldn't be able to come check it out until the following week. Sergio is honest and does detailed work. He also fixed our hall toilet issue for a nominal fee.
Our water pressure is back to being magnificent. I will be calling them for other future plumbing issues as needed. Thank you Sergio & Magnificent Plumbing!

I had a suspicious water leak issue at my house alerted by the city water and my builder warranty was not responsive. I had to hire Rene to identify where the leak was and he discovered that it was in the front main water line. I was about to have him redo the water line but luckily my builder finally came through. However, I had a wonderful experience with Rene's professionalism and reliability.
Shortly after we had a water pressure issue at the house and we found out that our water pressure regulator was failing on us, where it was reading from 80-100 psi but the water pressure in the house was low. I knew I had to call Rene to help replace the PRV. He was able to come the very next day to look at the issue. Since we would have to have the water off for 2 hours, he did some prep digging so that the replacement would go quicker the next morning.
Sergio came the next morning at 10am and was done around 12pm. Quicker than expected!
I really appreciate his team's responsiveness on Yelp msging as well as txting me 20 minutes prior to arrival. This is not my usual experience with Plumbers and I have had some bad ones in the past.
It was an expensive fix, but I am so worn out by my builder's warranty team, that I rather pay a reliable company that I could count on. Rene has a 1 year warranty on his work and the factory has 6 year warranty on the regulator part. The new regulator is much easier to use and looks sturdier than the part the builder had used.
I will surely be contacting Rene's team if I have any plumbing issues in the future.

He gave me pointers on what to do the next time I had the same issue, and always provided options. I never feel rushed into making any purchases. Our water heater was leaking and called Magnificent Plumbing and thank god we did. They came in 30 mins. Told us we needed a new water heater and that our old one was cracked. They were able to replace a new one and also created a new pump in case the water heater leaked again. Francisco did an amazing job and all in one day. From the positive reviews on Yelp, I reached out to inquire about replacing the valves inside the toilet tank. Julio arrived as scheduled and assessed that the parts & repairs would cost half as what a new more energy efficient toilet would cost because the toilet was positioned under a counter top and would need to be pulled out. The toilet was over 25 yrs old and would I like to take advantage of a promotion for a new Toto toilet. The price was right for me so I agreed. Julio and a co-worker returned as scheduled the following day for the installation that was excellent! I highly recommend this company!

I recently hired MP to address a clog in the dishwasher drainage that caused major leakage under the sink. They were able to quickly troubleshoot the problem and recommend a solution. The repair cost was very reasonable for almost 2 hours of labor. They also tested the dishwasher to make sure there were no further leaks. We have used Magnificent Plumbing & Rooter recently for a few plumbing issues: They put in a new water heater within a day's time. The work was done quickly, skillfully, and politely. They also installed a new kitchen sink fixture along with repairing our pipes surrounding it efficiently and skillfully. They also repaired a number of other plumbing issues with our toilets, showers, and bathroom sinks. The first plumber I could find that would come out on Saturday. Rene was great and easy to talk to and work with. He explained everything thoroughly, tried a couple easy fixes before he had to climb on the roof to snake it!
His advice for keeping healthy drains is worth it! These 50 year old homes have clay pipes from the street, under the landscaping to the house. To redo the pipes will cost $$$$$. But at least we know to plan for it.

So we are finally getting our kitchen fully repaired post-COVID and we forgot to call Magnificent Plumbing to reconnect our fridge waterline pipe - our bad - they needed to have us call them for that final step! My wife called, and the original team came out in...like 30 minutes after our call to them - 30 minutes!!!!....They went in and finalized the connection while our contractor and his team was still here. We lost no time in finishing our repairs thanks to Magnificent Plumbing. They are awesome!
They responded fast and showed up on time. The quote was ridiculous! I am requesting to replace a valve which is like 20-30 minutes job. He asked for $275 and told me this is his company price...
I don't make $550 an hour so I can't afford to pay you sir..

My main valve to my house was broken. Rene came to help quickly. He was responsive quick and efficient.
He also went out of his way to help me fix some other irrigation pipelines and valves. Added additional valves to system to make it more reliable. They are prompt and efficient. They also keep their schedule perfectly fine. They are always on time.
They are good value for your money aswell.
I would definitely recommend Magnificient Plumbing. They, Rene in prticular, have good business practices and goid business ethics.

Just got my water softener installed. It took half a day and really happy the way they did the job. Would recommend them for any plumbing jobs. It was a little complicated to get the pipes drilled from the crawl space since it is an older home.

Work quality was excellent. Rene was very professional, understood the problem and addressed it quickly. Pricing is a bit high considering the part cost, but I have no doubt that for larger jobs he would do an excellent job and the reduced headaches would make it worthwhile.
My water heater broke down over the weekend. On Sunday afternoon, I called the 24/7 help line. Connected with a staff member who scheduled me for an appointment first thing Monday morning. By 1 pm on Monday, my new water heater was installed and operating beautifully. The Magnificent Plumbing service men were prompt, polite and informative. I could not have asked for better and more timely customer service. Great company!

Our pipes started making humming/vibrating noise. Magnificent plumbing did a great job in identifying the issue quickly and fixed it. The professional was friendly and courteous. They are my go to plumbing company.
I had a leak from my bathroom sink that went to the garage. They had to cut the sheet rock in the garage to see where the leak was, luckily they found the leak right away. Sergio was fast and diagnosed it and fixed it right away. Highly recommended.

My Main backyard Sprinkler Pipe suddenly broke!
Over 5000 gallons later.
I couldn't shutoff the water because my main valve to the house was broken.
Sergio and Julio were so detailed and complete they installed new 1/4 turn valves, new copper pipe, and moved the pvc pipe to safer positions.

These guys are the BEST!!! I needed a water heater replacement. They came the same day and did a perfect job.
Rene is AMAZING! We've lived here for over 20 years and I've done most home repairs, including plumbing myself. Just now while my son took a shower upstairs, the downstairs toilet overflowed. Then after 15 minutes of plunging the drain wouldn't clear. I looked in the garage for a basically toy drain snake I bought once but must have given it away or tossed it.
I checked YELP! and saw that so many plumbers were closed and I didn't want to give my business to RotoRooter. I saw Magnificent Plumbing so I called. Rene answered right away and told me he would be at our house in 10 minutes. He was here even faster!
He arrived with a mask, put on booties and came in to the downstairs guest bath. He asked a few questions and immediately knew what was wrong.
He had the problem fixed in less time than it took to unload the equipment, take payment and load up again!
This was BY FAR the best communication, customer service and response time we've ever had. Even the County Sheriff takes longer to come when we call.

I called Rene for a toilet and shower backed up rescue for a rental at Livermore. All toilets and showers in the house were backed up, so my tenants could not use any of restrooms in the house. I truly appreciate that Rene could squeeze our appointment in his busy schedules in the same day. He gave me a courtesy call 45 minutes earlier before he arrived to the house. Rene diagnosed the problems carefully and he explained the solutions to me patiently. I found Rene really knows his field. I first called Renee from Magnificent Plumbing when my kitchen faucet stopped working. He came promptly, on time, and advised me to get a new faucet since it would be too expensive (and not worth it) to fix the existing one (it was ugly :\). A few days later we had our dishwasher replaced via Costco. The very next day, there was no hot water in the faucet. I called Renee and he was prompt again to come the same day and fix the issue (even though it wasn't his fault).
Every time since then (and I've called him for big jobs now), his team has been professional, courteous and very clean at their job. When they come in for the quote, they brainstorm ideas with me and come up with a solution I am happy with. When they complete their work, they always say call us anytime if you have any issues. I highly recommend you hire Renee and his team, you shouldn't be disappointed!

Excellent customer service. I got real desperate to find someone to come help me unclog my toilet after I accidentally flushed a wad of toilet paper and paper towel down the toilet. It got stuck and water was gussing out.
Renee was our plumber guy. He arrived and put on these disposable booties over his shoe to avoid stepping into my house and carpet with his dirty outdoor boots so I really appreciate that professionalism.
He observed the situation and told me how to take care of the situation and gave me a quote of $135 to unclog it with the snake. He did also told me if it doesn't work and the toilet needs to be removed, it'll cost about $475...but I knew we probably don't need to go down that route.
The lady who answered the phone was really nice and helpful. I needed someone in the next hour and she was about to secure someone to come by in 30 mins.
After the toilet was unclogged, Renee even offered to check my water heater, gas meter for free to check if it's safe. It was a free estimate so why not. Eventho I didn't need other extra service but it was nice to have someone check out the safety needs.
Overall, great service. Quick and very professional. I would call them again if I need as I highly support local small business.
Had some work done in February because both of my toilets were rocking. They were both pulled out, one got a new flange and they were both reseated properly. Come July and it's time to sell my house and a termite inspection turns up that one toilet is leaking under the house and there might be subfloor damage. Say whaaat?!? They came back out the next day and replaced a broken flange. Even crawled under the house to make sure nothing else was leaking. Super awesome that they came out so fast and fixed everything up.
Called them on a Friday late afternoon, they said they were backed up al day unit can come first thing Saturday morning. 8am showed up on the spot, got to work and fixed it. Fair prices, professional, in and out once job was done. Would recommend them.

They were clean, wore masks and boot covers, and were professional. They told me the inspection fee (to crawl under the house to see the problem) then when they went under, found the problem, took photos, and offered to fix it right then for a fair price. They did so quickly and did a great fix. Rather than tear out the entire plumbing below the sink, they cleaned out a problem fitting and spliced in what they needed, saving me money. They took an after picture too, and sent me both. The job looks great. I recommended them to a neighbor already.

Just a really great experience. We had a water line leak in our yard. We called them in the morning, and they said they would come around 1-3p. Around 1:15 they arrive, give us a reasonable estimate, and offer the start work right away. Very courteous, wearing masks, careful not to shake hands, etc. Took about 4 hours to complete the repair, and they warned us about the old pipe material, recommending that we replace the whole line at some point. We are very pleased with the service and they left the work site in very good condition as well. Highly recommended, will definitely have repeat business if we have other plumbing issues.
Rene probably was one of the fastest ones to respond to my inquiry about my tankless water heater. Our pilot light wouldn't stay lit on our old water heater and based from the feedback from the other service techs, it's an old unit that they no longer manufacture. Rene reached out via email and within two hours had Sergio at my front door. Sergio was very professional and polite and started working on the water heater. Within 20 minutes, he was done with the work and the light stays lit now. I can't say enough about the service I received from them and will keep them in mind in other issues that might come up at the house. Meanwhile, I still haven't heard back from my home warranty regarding expert techs to help service my heater. I just bit the bullet and hired them instead of waiting days for a response. Kinda makes me wish Rene was on their radar. Thank you. With two toddlers, not having hot water has been a challenge. Thank you for your help!

Since I can't seem to add another review, I'll tack it on to this one.
Our pilot light went out again and this time, I couldn't keep it lit. I placed a message to Rene and his team last night and this morning, Sergio came in to check out the water heater.
He was prepped with a mask and protective gear since we all have to be careful with C-19 these days. It took him about a half an hour to clean out the thermal coupler and was on his way. I can't say enough thanks to these guys! He even remembered coming over the first time from two years ago.

After tracing a leak under my house, I found that I had a cracked drain pipe that needed to be replaced. The first plumber I called (A friend) told me the only way to fix it was to cut a 4 foot square in the kitchen floor to access the pipes...... No Thanks! I called Magnificent and they dispatched Rene. He looked at the crawl space access, the cracked pipe and determined he could do it without cutting up the kitchen. We scheduled for a few days later. As he started Rene found more cracked joints and pipe that needed to be replaced. He re quoted the extra work and they still accomplished the job in ONE day. He was beyond professional. They laid plastic sheeting down in the house and cleaned up everything and even hauled all the old pipes away.
If I ever need a plumber Rene and Magnificent Plumbing will be my first and only call!

Second time using these guys and they are great! Reliable, on time, and did a wonderful job. Had to get my water heater checked out since it was making a loud booming sound like someone slamming a car door. Rene came out the same day and realized the gas pipe fire hose was leaking, felt pretty dangerous so they helped me replace it immediately. The guys came around 6 and worked till evening to get the new water heater installed. Price was very reasonable and the guys definitely knew what they were doing, had the thing up and running in under 3 hrs. If you have any plumbing or water issues, these are the guys to call. Rene even called the next day to make sure everything was going smooth, great service!
We had a blockage in our pipes for two days. We used another company that brought out three different people in a period of those 2 days and couldn't fix it. Rene came out and fixed it in under an hour, was very knowledgeable and professional! We will always call Magnificent Plumbing, they are honest, reliable, won't waist your time and will get the job done.

Called Rene on Friday afternoon and he came down on Saturday morning. He and his crew were on time, wore face masks and put on booties without us having to ask.... which was very much appreciated as we had just redone our floors! They were polite and took time to explain. Although we didn't end up using them this time (the issue was resolved just before their visit), we would definitely be calling them back for any future plumbing needs.

I'm giving Renee one star and would give him no stars if I could. He quoted me $175 to clear my sewer line over the phone. When he arrived and found he would have to clear the line from my bathroom he wanted to charge me $500 for the job.
So instead of saying he did not want to do the job he added $325 to the quote so he could walk away from the job.
I have been a Building Engineer for over thirty years and have used numerous plumbers over the years. The normal charge to pull a toilet is $50.00.
VERY UNPROFESSIONAL and would not recommend Renee to anyone I know. He just wants make a quick buck and move on.
Plumbers can be tough. Some work off of a rate sheet while others go with time and materials. They almost always gouge. This wasn't my experience with Magnificent Plumbing.
I had a very heavy and very delicate espresso machine plumbed around carara marble counters. The challenge was the slope to my drain, which was under a farm sink with no clearance to the bottom of the cabinet. It took several hours, but they did a perfect job and the bill was one decimal less than I thought it would be. I couldn't believe it.
I had a tankless water heater installed today. They came out, same day, to estimate and I had a digital estimate in my inbox that night, as promised. I had some questions so they sent a technician out within a few hours to discuss. After my questions were answered, I pressed the Accept Quote button on the digital quote. I received a text that night to book my appointment and had my new water heater installed within 48 hours.
Their work is clean, respectful and impeccable. No shortcuts, no mess, no damage. I couldn't be any more particular, yet these guys somehow managed to complete two difficult jobs unscathed. Fine work; very fine work indeed.

Truly Magnificent. I was not looking forward to hiring a plumber, worrying about get overcharged or slipshod work. But wow, these guys were great! Fast estimate that hit what I'd hoped to pay. Then flexible scheduling, which I had to move when FedEx didn't deliver on time. Then real artwork with the sophisticated installation of a whole house water filtration system. Rene answered the phone and we were able to book an appointment the next day. He tried to use a snake to unclog a drain but was unsuccessful. The story may be continued another day, and if it is, I will update it. He was prompt and professional, and we appreciate that.
Very pleased with this company. Spoke to Rene he had someone out the next day for a non urgent issue replacing the gas pipe in our fireplace. Gentlemen who arrived seemed confident and quickly removed the pipe was here about 5 minutes went back to his shop to cut and re thread the pipe and was back in less than an hour. 3 minute job once he was back to screw it in. Was glad it was done quickly deducting one star for the $185 price tag seemed a little excessive for the simple job but I will call them again if needed.
I called Rene and he remedied a toilet installation after I recently had flooring changed. The difference in flooring thickness caused a gap between the floor and toilet.
I was aware of the rates and although high, I needed the work done.
A third toilet was in a common area so it wasn't as urgent. There was a different quote because the pipe needed to be cut on this one. I called and got a different quote from another company. They did the job for less than half.
When you can, always get a second opinion. Paying more than 2x is no joke. That's why one star deduction.
Rene was awesome. We had a clog in our line for our toilets. Rene came early on a Saturday and got the clog out in no time. He was super friendly and did a great job. The cost was super reasonable as well. If I ever have any more issues I would definitely call Rene first. Thanks Rene!

Awesome service and quick reply. I have had them out to my house 3 times over the past few months for various problems and each time they have been professional, showed up on time, and given me a fair price for services rendered. In one instance, I ended up needing to buy a whole new faucet for my laundry room sink because they were not able to fix it but I didn't have the faucet on hand. They didn't charge me for that visit and came back the next day to put the new faucet in once I was able to go to home depot to purchase it. Highly recommend!

Called to get a free estimate for my plumbing issue, scheduled an appointment for 12pm-2pm. The day before the appointment, she told me one of the customer cancelled an earlier appointment and asked if 9am-11am appointment was ok, I said sure. Came the day of the appointment, the technician came on time, wore shoe covers and was thorough with his inspection of my issues. Gave me a price quote on the issues and was on his way until I figure my finance. Overall experience was great and don't mind doing business with them in the future.

I had first called Magnificent to clean out the kitchen drain line last November, so I was a bit surprised when I had to call them back out 4 mos later and then after 2 days have the problem reoccur. At that point we were looking at 1 star. I had questioned how the drain could be clogged after 4 mos and our being careful about what goes down the disposal. When I had to call I made it clear I needed someone to come out who could figure it out.
Rene came himself (ontime). He listened to my history on the drain asked some questions and brought up the option of scoping the drain after he cleared it. He offered a very fair discount on scoping since they had just been there on Monday which made the total cost very reasonable and cheap compared to what I would have been charged for both on Monday. He identified the problem, the drain pipe was settling under the townhouse and no longer had a consistent slope. Egg shells were scattered throughout the line. He should me how to flush it out on a regular basis, counseled me on using the disposal given the drain line status, since replacing the line was not financially feasible. He turned my frustration into deep appreciation. Great Job! They need refrigerator magnets! I will be calling them for future plumbing work.
I've had Rene work on a few things around our house and have been so pleased with the service. Super friendly, on time, progressional and fairly priced. I will definitely keep using them and will recommend them to our friends.

This is the 2nd job that Rene has done for me. Rene is a hard worker and has fixed my water main for both houses now, and has done a fantastic job. The quality of his work looks great and his prices are _really_ reasonable (compared to some other plumbers we called). I would highly recommend Rene for all your plumbing repair needs.

Guys did a great job. We had our water main break and they had to jackhammer the concrete to get to the broken pipe, fix the break, refill the hole with dirt then reseal the concrete. They did it all in one day and did a fantastic job. They cleaned up every drop of dirt and left the location in pristine condition.
Quality work at a competitive price on Saturday. I called Dee on a Friday and she was able to book a time to install two faucets for the next day. Sergio and his helper arrived on time with booties to protect my floors. They did the work courteously and efficiently. Highly recommended.
Renee is a wonderful, trustworthy plumber. My bathroom sink cracked from something I dropped. I have only 1 bathroom. It's a Thursday morning I called every carpenter, contractor I know. No one was available. I called a few local businesses for suggestions. I go on yelp for quotes. Renee responds right away. He said he's available for the next day, (Friday ) between 2pm to 4pm for an estimate. I go to Dublin's BBB to request a few quotes
Must companies wanted pictures. Which I provided. The nightmare begins. A plumbing company said they could replace the sink for $600, but I'd need a counter top company to remove the stone and replace the stone.
Most businesses from BBB said my job was too small. A contractor from BBB quotes in a text $3,200. Then he offered a 20% discount, $2,800. I said it's a sink that needs to be replaced. The contractor said he'd shine up the vanity for his discounted price. A plumber from yelp replies within a few minutes, I'm available Thursday, Friday & Saturday. Low cost, $1,200 to $1,600. High cost, up to $2,300
Most companies wanted a $25 estimate fee. Another company said go to Home Depot and pick out which vanity & faucet you'd like. Make sure it's the exact same size. Have it in your condo ready to install. What a joke!!
Renee is here on the money the next day like he said he would. He takes a look and said the sink can be replaced via underneath for $575. Before his estimate I offered to help him move the counter if he could give me a discount This was the absolutely lowest bid. Renee said there's no need to do anything else at all. He did request a $200 deposit for the sink, because many customers give the go and then decide on another style. Which is something I would do. I was looking at floating sinks, titled wild sinks. I was so upset with this entire issue I paid the material fee. Renee scheduled an appointment for next Wednesday afternoon. All weekend my antennas kept going up. It's so gross to use the kitchen sink for day & night's preparations. I also cancelled my grandson's sleepover. How could there be such a price difference? Renee was here on the scheduled time as quoted. I will be forever thankful for finding him. We've all unfortunately experienced bad service via yelp, BBB, suggestions from friends and former contractors plus getting that terrible sticker shock is pretty awful too

Extremely professional, nice attitude, clean work and a fair price.
I called Rene for replacing the shower and redoing the bath. He and his crew would show up on the dot on time. Absolutely zero hassle, they knew exactly what had to be done step by step. In 3 days, they had completed the work and bathroom looked exactly the way I wanted it. Through the entire process they worked fast and professional and made sure they cleaned up after they were done. Am happy with the work from Rene and team and would definitely recommend them.

Dee and Rene are great to deal with. Called on mon and Rene came out on Tues morning to do the job. I had a water softener system in the garage that needed to go. Plus install a couple of hose bibs. I found Magnificent Plumbing by carefully reading Yelp and other reviews and requested a quote from them for a guest bath remodel. I was acting as my own general contractor and had already purchased most of the hardware from fixtures to vanity and shower door to toilet. The existing faucet plumbing was to be changed out to accept a double with drains and I arranged for them to do the rough-in so that other cosmetic work from sheet rock to baseboards and flooring could proceed. When we were finally ready for the final installations to go forward I called them back to make a date for the work to be completed.
Firstly, Magnificent got my business because they were willing to install my counter tops and sinks and the other plumber that was in the running didn't offer that service.
Second, Rene was very good at explaining exactly what each portion of the job would cost and how I would be billed due to the time lag in between the rough-in to the final finishing installations. Their price was very competitive, especially given the extra services rendered. I was warned well ahead of time of potential problem areas that could've ended up adding to the total cost such as possible leaks in the drain to tub and shower control valve. There were no surprises!
In every step of this job Magnificent (support staff and plumbers) were professional, prompt to respond to any of my questions, always returned my phone calls and did exactly what was required to finish the job to my exacting standards! They were neat and clean and were respectful of my property.
I will be calling Magnificent again after the first of the year for a planned master bath remodel!
Called them a few weeks ago (yep I am a but late for this review), my water main busted, leaving a nice swamp in the font and very little water pressure in the house. Called a few plumbers and Magnificent was able to come out.
Rene came within the time window, gave an estimate and fixed the busted pipe within the the time he said it would. There was a lot of digging for him.
If I need a plumber again, I will not hesitate to call them again.
Look no further for a plumber! This is a quality business, with great team members. Romero (special shout-out) came on time, fixed my issue, ordered a new part and returned FAST; overall it was a great experience. He even replaced a shower head that was in bad condition. Ran a couple quotes to some companies and these guys came out for a free quote/estimate.
I had an issue with some gargling pipes and couldn't figure out how to get rid of it.
They responded quickly and came during the time frame that was given. The next part is a bit embarrassing for me but I'll share it anyways.
The guys came up to our bathroom and heard the sound, asked if we'd used the bath tub and I said no. They ran the tub, had me flush, and asked do you hear the sound?....nope...lol they explained that it was trapped air in the lines and that was the fix.
After some embarrassment and laughter (mostly on my part) we bid our farewells.
I just wanted to say that after the embarrassing event I'm grateful they came out and quickly solved the problem. On top of that they didn't charge me for the hassle of coming over to the house and turning on our tub faucet...haha
Thanks again and if we have more issues I'd gladly come back.
My washer machine had a leaking issue because the hose was bit short and popped off. This plumber replaced the hose with a longer one I bought. He charged $225 (cleared the drainage pipe bit).
The leaking problem was resolved however the washer stopped working next day. I spent an hour to test different parts and did not figure out why. I decided to call repair guy who may charge a few hundred dollars. Before that, I was recommended to check the tap. Two guys had to make great efforts and moved the stackable washer&dryer out of the tight closet completely. I found out that the tap was turned off by the plumber guy!
After I posted the above review, the owner called immediately. He apologized and offered a refund and offered to come fix it for free if there is still any problem. An exceptional experience.

I was able to get a same day appointment. Great communication. They were professional and diagnosed my shower faucet plumbing issue quickly - a faulty cartridge. The prices are a bit rich but it's a premium service experience.
Yesterday I needed a shower drain unclogged and they were onsite less than an hour after I called. Sergio was very professional and worked on it for over an hour, as it turned out to be a very tough clog. The service was great and the price was reasonable, he was done before the other plumbing service that I had called even got back to me. Would highly recommend them and will use them again in the future.
I prefer using small business owners to support the community and get great customer service. Over the past few months, I had multiple plumbing issues. I always texted Rene, he responded fast- and had someone come over relatively quickly to look at my issues which included the plumbing line, hot water heater and some other things. Candidly, they did a repair on my water heater which leaked at the joint. As soon as I showed him, he came and got it fixed immediately. I'm okay with folks making mistakes- but how he fixed it is why I would use them again and giving them 5 stars. Pricing is also fair for their work.
Stopped by to give an estimate for hooking up the water for my new fridge. Said it was gonna cost $475, which seemed high. Another plumber said they could use our existing line for $150 or replace it for 3x as much, which might save us from leaks down the road. Went with the cheaper option. Wish these guys had given us the cheaper option.
1) Extremely fast response: I called, explained my problem, and BAM, Rene came over that evening after I got off work! There at 6:30 pm and out around 7:30 pm.
2) Expert knowledge: I clogged my shower drain with leveling cement that leaked down while remodeling the shower. Worse, I tried to fix it myself for weeks before calling for help. Rene had the equipment and strength to clear the mortar/cement from the p-trap within an hour. The shower is now draining like a champ.
3) Reasonable pricing: This guy came after normal working hours to a location off the beaten track. I expected to pay more. Don't kid yourself. Good plumbers are professionals worth the money!

My water heater started leaking a few days ago and I couldn't find the source of the leak. I called Magnificient plumbing yesterday and they sent someone out to my house on the same day. I was able to make an appointment for this morning. Sergio showed up and replaced my water heater within 2 hours. Thanks for the great customer service!
We had a clogged kitchen drain which occurred after doing dishes in the evening. Called Magnificent Plumbing around 7:30 am the next morning. Rene answered right away and told me someone could be there between 12-2pm that day. He called me back about 30 minutes later and said he could be at our house between 9-11am which was even better. Around 8:40 am, he texted me and said he would be at my house in 30 minutes.
He arrived by 9:15 am. He quickly diagnosed the problem and went to work on fixing the issue. He ran a snake down the complete pipe line and cleared the clog.
He was finished in about 40 minutes and charge me on the lower end of what he quoted. We were very please with his prompt service and good natured personality. We need a new faucet in the kitchen which we will have him back out to install it.

I have used their plumbing services twice and both work out great and satisfied.
The first time was for replacing a cartridge for my master bathroom shower. The old cartridge was hard to be taken out and the guy work hard to take it out and finish the job.
Today I have them to fix my leaking backyard faucet connection. Not only the job was completed perfectly. The guy also help to diagnose the fountain which stopped working for almost a year. Although he did not do anything to fix it but just to test out the electric parts, somehow the fountain started working again,
Both guys came were friendly and hardworking. Both jobs completed with reasonable price. Since the jobs are small, so I have no idea about some other comments regarding the pricing issue. At least so far it work out great for me.

I called in for a potential sewage starting to backup problem. I was able to get an appointment same day, which was great. The crew came right on time. I explained the issue and what I thought was the problem. My only issue was, they did not discuss potential causes or offered (even for a fee) a diagnosis. They went ahead with my suggestion to rooter the sewer. I have not noticed a difference but figured that it is probably good to do now and then for maintenance. They did, however, explain to me after what they did, how bad the sewer may have been, and suggested replacing the galvanized pipe under the house some time in the future. The crew did a great job making sure to wear booties, cover the floor, they cleaned afterwards. I was really happy with their overall service. I would use them in the future, but suggest they offer up potential cause and resolutions vs taking the home owners word for it

My main water shut off valve broke leaving me with no water. I called several plumbers. Some wanted to give me an appt days away and some didn't even call me back. Roto-Rooter plumbing came almost 3 hrs after his appt time and then he was going to charge $356/hr but said he couldn't do anything that day because it was too late. I called Magnificent Plumbing the next day and they immediately answered and gave me a same day appt time of 10-12pm. They texted me at 1040 and were there at 11. It was up front pricing and they did a great job. No hassle and didn't waste my time. I will definitely use them again.
I found the best plumber ever! Call Rene. He came out on Memorial Day weekend when my kitchen sink was clogged. He fixed everything in half an hour. He was very nice and prompt. His pricing was super reasonable- especially on a long weekend. You can thank me later!! Don't call anyone else- call Rene!

They really helped us out of a jam. We had to replace our Washer/Dryer, and purchased new high efficiency front loader and gas dryer. When they came to deliver and install we found we had no gas shut off valve which is required, and our water valves were deteriorating and starting to leak - so they could not install. Called Magnificent plumbing Friday afternoon in a panic, and they had someone out Sat first thing. The quote was reasonable, and they finished all the work by early afternoon that same Saturday and even went the extra mile and handled all the installation and hookups for the W/D. Everything looks and works great. Professional, on time,and quality work. We are thrilled and can now catch up on 2 weeks of laundry. I would highly recommend this company to anyone.

What helped me try Magnificent Plumbing was the Yelp reviews. Rene is mentioned in all the reviews, and he didn't disappoint. Called at 9am, and he fit me in as soon as he could (same day). My plumbing issue was replacing a garbage disposal. He gave some options of either repairing the existing one or replacing completely. Given that 2004 was when I moved in (new home), the existing disposal had treated me well and it was probably time for a new one.
I was impressed enough with him and the quality of work (honest guy), that I will call him first for all future plumbing needs, and what a relief to have someone to go to in the future. Thanks to Rene and Magnificent Plumbing.
I had been dealing with a backed up kitchen sink and leaking garbage disposal for over a week. Called Rene early on a Saturday morning, and he arrived at my place in about 20 minutes. Barely an hour later he had both issues resolved. He even came back a few hours later to make sure everything was okay and to adjust a few things to his perfection. Overall, a great experience and would definitely recommend Rene to anyone looking for a good plumber.
I had a kitchen faucet installed by a complete idiot. Knew it wasn't right (even though he insisted it was, thankfully I wrote him a check and was able to stop payment on it) Called Magnificent Plumbing at 10:00 am, service tech was here at 1:00 and fixed everything the idiot did wrong in about 30 minutes. They don't charge a service fee and my bill was $145.00 for everything. Awesomeness!!!!

If you want the most responsive, efficient, fair-priced plumber, contact Magnificent Plumbing! Rene will bend over backwards to accommodate your needs. My garbage disposal went out late on a Saturday afternoon, and I didn't know any plumbers so I thought for sure I was either going to have to wait until Monday and miss some work, or pay emergency weekend rates, but I called Magnificent Plumbing bc I liked the name of the company and they had great reviews, and Rene was at my house within an hour! About 35 minutes later, he was all done, efficiently and inexpensive you!
Then, about 8 months later I get a notice from the garbage disposal company saying there is a recall on a part, and I should crawl under my sink and unplug things and try to find serial numbers! I started to freak out bc my disposal doesn't look anything like the photos that were sent in the letter, but apparently running my disposal could cause a fire, so I call Magnificent Plumbing, on a Sunday, expecting to leave a message, but Rene picks up the phone on the 2nd ring. We arrange a day/time for home to come over, he looks at the paperwork and my disposal and says my model is in the clear, and NO CHARGE! This guy is the best!!!
I called up at 6:30pm after my kitchen sink & laundry room drain were clogged. Within 1 hour he showed up, identified the issue and resolved the problem in under 30 mins. Very fast response and great service for the price too. Would recommend.
This review is well overdue! I have used Renee a total of 4 times and tonight he blew me away. I called him at 5:30 pm on the night before thanksgiving. I had no hot water to bathe my 3 kids or cook dinner tomorrow night. He told me to send him pics, he had the part and he would be there in an hour. One hour later at 715pm my problems are solved. I don't know if he is the cheapest as I don't call anybody else anymore but I do know he is the most efficient and service oriented. Kudos Renee! Happy Thanksgiving!

Rene did an excellent job at my home for plumbing repairs. he arrived promptly at the scheduled time. He was able to fix the issues and patiently explained the problem. I highly recommend Rene for any plumbing related needs. I had compared the estimate with others as well and his price was very fair.
Got rene to fix my leaky kitchen faucet... price was fair.. pretty much what another plumber estimated.
He didn't fix the RO unit faucet that was lose beside my kitchen faucet he said it's a little rusted now so if he try to fix it and it breaks we don't have parts I might end up with a completely broken RO unit.
The other plumber that gave me the original estimate with my leaky kitchen faucet(with a lot of good reviews here on yelp) yank my RO faucet really hard and he said oh this is very loose now and we need to fix it too.. and it's possibly additional price...it was fine before he yanked it.. well I'm not going to give them a negative review I just didn't give them my business.

After using draino i couldn't get my sink to unclog. I called Rene and he was able to come fix it 45 minutes later. Pipes were built up of grease over the years and took him about an hour to fix it. I had a leak in my sink and while he didnt have the part for it, said he would come next day @3. Sure enough he came back exactly when he said!. Great service and nice guy. I highly recommend Rene.
These guys are very fast and know what they're doing! I called in the morning to request an afternoon appointment, and they accommodated me with my schedule, showing up on time. The technician, Sergio, took a look at my plumbing issues and identified and fixed the problem immediately! I will not hesitate to hire them again for future plumbing problems.

Tonight as I'm running the garbage disposal I notice that the water seems to be backing up in our kitchen sink. As I continue to tinker with the sink, I hear my wife yell that our laundry room is flooded and water is beginning to fill our living room. Call Magnificent Plumber and Rene shows up within 30 minutes. He identified the problem area immediately, snakes out the line, and wallah problem solved (for a reasonable price as well) - Can't ask for much more than that! Thank you Magnificent Plumber!

We had a sewage leak last night. It is the long weekend and Rene came out to help us in an hour. He fixed everything, cleaned out the leak and gave us reasonable next steps to avoid this in the future. Excellent service and very professional. Really appreciated the quick turnaround too.

I got the name of Magnificent Plumbing from Angie's List and they had a good rating there and were local. They came when they said they would and got my hot water heater working again. I was impressed with the way they analyzed the problem and got it taken care of. I will use them again.
Let me start by saying that I'm not always easy to please, and Rene exceeded my expectations! He came at 7a on time and I called him at 7p the night before. He listened to both my husband and I, quickly diagnosed the issues and gave us a fair price. He was professional, very skilled and he made us feel very comfortable with his warm personality. We'd been looking for a plumber to fix our toilet and just hadn't followed through. Today was finally the day and had a recommendation from a friend. We called and within an hour they arrived. We found the plumber very professional. He assessed the issue and came to a conclusion different from what we thought. It turned out our pressure regulator was failing. Now the knock in the plumbing, and the toilet flushing appropriately is solved. Thank goodness we called Magnificent Plumbing because they solved the problem and saved us from other expensive repairs. The failed pressure regulator could have blown out our pipes! Called on 11/5/18 before 7am regarding a clogged shower drain on the 3rd floor and was able to get an appointment on the same day. Excellent customer service. Renee fixed the issue, checked all our faucets and drains and even replaced the washer inside the spigot outside our garage (water was leaking out slowly) all within an hour.

I had concerns about a former plumbing job from Patrick's Plumbing and needed some current repairs to my shower valves. I later found out that the prior company was unlicensed.
Rene arrived from M,P & R. He was attentive, flexible, and willing. He took his time to thoroughly explain his recommendations and at my request checked the work of the former plumber's repair to the sewage lines.
He replaced shower valves and diverter after he first verified the need for replacement. He checked his work by crawling beneath the house and made a modification to the prior plumber's work.
He responded thoroughly and logically when he answered questions. I was quite pleased and now have piece of mind. I would use this company again and not hesitate to recommend Rene.

I was receiving emails from the water district that I had a continuous leak detected that needed to be fixed or face heavy fines. I didn't have any leaks inside. I called Rene and he came out within 45 minutes to see where the leak was coming from. He discovered that the leak was coming from the main water line at the side of the house underneath the concrete walk-way. He gave me a fair estimate and started the work right away. He broke through the concrete and found a pretty significant leak from the pipes. He replaced the pipings and re-cemented the area. In addition, I had him install a seismic valve on the main gas line. All the work was done that day with the re-cementing the next morning. Rene is the owner and did all the work himself, was very professional, and did a great job!!!

Rene was recommended by my mother-in-law, who is very picky and finicky. Bathtub shower valve/handle cartridge leaking water, worried about water behind wall, shower set at end of life anyway. Called Rene, arrived on the dot of our agreed time. He assessed the situation and gave me three ideas of how to repair or replace. I liked his idea to install a new shower trim set, that would be close in appearance to sink faucets, but ultimately saved me $600. Next day, Rene again arrived on time, new stuff in hand. I am giving this company five star. My kitchen faucet needs to be replaced so I called Renee early morning. He gave me an estimate over the phone and sent the technician within an hour. Excellent customer service and very fast response time! Rene came to my house within an hour of the call, assessed the problem, talked to my home warranty company (who wouldn't have any plumber available to send to remediate kitchen garbage disposal for 5 days!!.. I got to do something about them later on), gave them a reasonable estimate, installed a brand new disposal, tested and completed everything under 90 minutes! You can't ask for anything better from a plumbing service. A highly professional plumber who understands the customer needs! A great local company with excellent service! Rene arrived exactly when he said he would, was friendly and quick to the work of unclogging my shower drains. He gave useful advise and addressed several other small issues in the bathroom. I would definitely use him again for any other issues in the home, and recommend him to anyone in the east bay.
Just had Rene fix my backed up sewer and replace a rusted out supply line. I called him the night before and he showed up the next morning promptly. He does very good work and I highly recommend using his services. As a plus, he is open on weekends! Hard worker.
