Best Plumbing Services in Phoenix, AZ
I've called on Mike Davis Plumbing a couple times. Our home is an older manufactured home. Not pleasant underneath. Both times the tech came out they were on time, friendly and knew exactly what to do.
Recently John Daniels came out twice to take care of two separate problems. He was on time, friendly, got right to work and did an amazing job.
Mike Davis is excellent at communicating as well. Great company!

When my sewer line backed up, Addam was able to give a quote right over the phone, and explain what scenarios might cost a little more, and how much. Communication about the appointment was clear as he explained what was ahead of my time slot, texted when on his way, and arrived exactly as expected. He went to work right away, identifying the best access and getting started. I was a little stressed since the snake must've had to go nearly all the way to city's connection, but finally after nearly 120 feet suddenly swoosh and we were on our way. Addam was pleasant and professional the whole time and happily answered all my pestering questions about what he was doing. As we talked he mentioned he loved his job, and it shows. PlumServe was exactly what I was looking for and I'm glad I found them.

Talbot Plumbing Services was recommended by a family member and now I owe him BIG time. Seth came in and did two separate jobs in less than three hours. He has a focus on providing solutions to your problem / tasks with an eye on value. His analysis of the one task that was a problem-in-waiting was thorough and value focused. He discussed options and the range of work that could be needed depending on what he found once the work started. Fortunately, our fix fell on the less expensive end of the scale. Had it not, I felt he works with honesty and integrity and could have accepted a more costly solution if warranted.
One other thing, the morning of our appointment he called and asked if it would be OK if he arrived a few hours late because he had a no heat client that needed emergency service and heat to their house on a very cold NEPA winter day. Some might perceive that as a negative; I did not. Why? Because my work was not urgent and no heat certainly was. A good call on his part yet he asked if it was OK. Oh yes, one other good thing about that approach is that I feel I would get the same level of responsiveness in a similar situation.

Maloney plumbers have been to our home twice in the last 2 years, but this is my first Yelp post regarding those services. Both of our plumbing problems were water leaks and neither were urgent but they required prompt attention. I won't detail the plumbing problems we had, but rather I want to describe the service we received. We placed a call and received courteous attention from a very friendly associate. I felt like they wanted to serve us as soon as possible and that put me at ease. In each case we had a plumber at our home within 15 hours. They sent us a text in advance regarding their arrival. In one of the visits we could not be home and we received a detailed description of the issue, including pictures of the problem discovered. They told us the cost, which was very reasonable in both instances, and they completed the repair that day, within hours. For the repair where I was home, I was impressed with the professionalism and care the plumber demonstrated in his craft and his interactions with me. I watched him complete the repair. He answered all my questions and had a great personality.
My parents owned a business in a small town when I was a kid and my dad was all about taking care of his customers. He knew the value of service to someone that was in need of his help. Maloney Plumbing is a family owned business that cares. They have been in business for 70+? years and how they treated me reminded me of how my dad served his customers. This company/family has an impressive history in the valley. I know many families that have used them with great success. Don't hesitate to call them. I won't call anyone else. Ask for Kitty - she is the founders daughter and she will ensure you are satisfied.

Recently my kitchen faucet broke and flooded my home in a matter of minutes. I was lucky enough to find Simon's Plumbing. The responded quickly, showed up early, and thoroughly fixed the problem. Simon, Alex, and George were polite, helpful, and professional.
I also used them used Simon's Plumbing to replace the cartridges in my showers that were leaking. Honestly I don't know what makes me happier, having my kitchen back or no longer burning my feet when I shower. Thank you Simon's Plumbing.

I called Larry early on a Monday morning for a basement that was taking on water. He came out right away and was very knowledgeable and replaced my ejector pump and dealt directly with the home warranty company. I was surprised by how smooth the whole process went. I felt like Larry really cared and he had some great suggestions about what to do in the future. Top notch service!

If you're new to the area or even just looking for a great plumber / plumbing services, I have to tell you.... I can't say enough about Estella Mountain Plumbing! We were new to the area just purchased our home about a year ago and of course, issues. We had a main that broke by the home side so it was our responsibility and of course we are out of town when this happens so the neighbors called and we start searching Tommy came out immediately sent us pictures, had the water off and called with an estimate. Within less than an hour from our frantic call to him leaving, the problem was fixed as if it never happened, he saved us hundreds of not thousands of dollars, because if it wouldn't have been handled so quickly we would have had an enormous water bill! He was fast was knowledgeable and provided customer service that just doesn't exist anymore and did not take advantage of after hours emergency service. So , if anyone's looking for a good, honest plumber that knows what they're doing and is affordable and fast call Estrella Mountain Plumbing they're everything that you're looking for that just doesn't exist out there anymore! Thanks Tommy you're a lifesaver we don't know what we would do without you!

Eddie was great and has years of experience! He answered my call for dryer help on a Saturday and arranged to come Monday. He was early and very knowledgeable on what was wrong with our dryer. Immediately he presented us with our options and even expressed how we could save money. He quoted us an honest price and didn't add charges in the end. Eddie actually left our house and got the part we needed very quickly, returning and finishing the job the same day. He was very friendly and trustworthy. We will definitely be calling Eddie first, next time we need a handy man.

We have just moved here to Mesa, and remodeled our home. We called 3 people to get quotes for installing our Gas Range. We decided to go with Hickman Plumping, Heating and Cooling.
Chris Dines was the Tech who came out to give a bid and what would need to be done. What we thought would be a easy application turned out to be more work than expected. However what Chris quoted did not change. We are now happy owners of a new gas range.
And a 2 new toilet insulations, our plumping updated in the laundry room for new washer and dryer and wash basin. I am sure we are forgetting something that Chris touched, but Chris Dines is a fantastic person and great with helping us with all our needs.
We will not hesitate to call on Chris if or when the time arises.

Here are my responses to Michael D's ridiculous rebuttal, with a trimmed down version of my original review below them. His responses further show how they are trying to blame me for needing 5 visits to accomplish basic plumbing tasks with all brand new (NOT CHEAP, as he likes to assume) parts. Very classy for the owner to accuse ME of taking advantage of HIM. Unbelievable. BEWARE, and please try any of the other better companies out there.
1. Michael D was never once at our house.
2. ALL THREE sinks that Merit worked on leaked, multiple times, but thanks for calling me a liar. ALL THREE sinks had the original parts that your company chose to install replaced by your company with different parts on the 3rd visit.
3. The R/O was leaking WHILE they were here, and I pointed it out. They worked on it some more, then left. I didn't buy some cheap off-brand R/O like you seem to indicate despite never having been here.
4. NO ONE touched ANY of the pluming in our house until AFTER your 5th visit and I stopped calling Merit. Nice try though.
5. How do you know that the tub spout was thoroughly tested? It leaked the VERY FIRST time that I went to use it. Crazy huh?
6. It must be amazingly coincidental that 5 items that your company installed all leaked after installation. But I'm sure they were all thoroughly tested, and it had nothing to do with the way you do business and the cheap parts that YOU used (and that Justin even admitted while on the job)!
We did a lot of remodeling work in our house, and we simply needed a plumber to come in and install all the new parts. It took them 5 different visits between Justin & Javier. The 1st trip was to put everything in. We noticed shortly afterwards that ALL of our new sinks were leaking underneath into the cabinets. Our R/O system was also leaking.
On trip #2, Javier came and fixed all the leaking sinks and the R/O. But the sinks started leaking again shortly after he left.
On trip #3, Justin (the supervisor) came out and replaced a bunch of the parts that they previously installed (these were parts that THEY chose to complete the job, not parts we provided). He said these parts were no good and that he hates using them. Then why didn't they just use the better parts on the 1st trip?
Not too long after, we noticed more issues. The only sink we didn't replace, we had a new faucet installed instead. I went to wash my hands, gently touched the faucet, and it turned about 45 degrees (I have video of this). So I grabbed it with my hand, and with almost no effort I was able to swing the faucet left and right at will. Also, when I looked closer at the upstairs guest bathroom sink that we hadn't used yet, I noticed that the stopper wasn't working (that thing behind the faucet that you pull up on to plug the water). I looked underneath, and it wasn't even connected. So, Javier came back out to fix these items on trip #4.
Then, we noticed that the tub faucet in the master bathroom was leaking. So, Javier was sent back out for trip #5. Also, for our kitchen sink, we bought one of those faucet heads that you can pull out to rinse the sink. When we tried to pull it out, it went about one inch and then clanged. We could hardly even move it. So I looked under the sink, and the way everything was put together under there looked like a bowl of spaghetti. When pulling on the nozzle head, it instantly ran into other lines and got tangled. They installed EVERYTHING and had the whole space to work with and could have done it however they needed to. A handyman happened to be over when we discovered this, who also does plumbing work on the side, and he looked underneath our sink, and he just looked at me and said, That's just really lazy work is what that is.
So now Javier is out for trip #5, and he pulls off the leaky tub faucet, looks at it closer and says it's defective. It's a brand new part, and I'm not exactly confident in Javier, but hey, let's hope he's right. I would have thought that a plumber, after completing their work, would check it to make sure it doesn't leak. I didn't check every faucet with them, which is why I noticed so much of this after they left. Is it too much to assume that they would have done that? If so, they would have seen all the previous leaks like I did the first time I went to use the sinks and faucets. He took out the faucet and said we had to order a new one, which we did, and it came a few weeks later, and we had the handyman install it. The handyman also caulked around the tub faucets and said he was surprised that the plumber didn't do that either. Javier then adjusted a few things under the kitchen sink, so there is better mobility for the nozzle.
He then left, and a minute later the doorbell rang. He said, I have to charge you $139 for the tub spout work. Oh, you mean for the 10 minutes that it took you to take out the faulty part that you previously installed? NEVER ONCE DID THEY APOLOGIZE. I'm out of space or I would write more.

Pros - Professional customer service with the lady on the phone to the serviceman.
Cons - Questionable pricing policy of NOT quoting prices of services over the phone. Makes it difficult to compare with others and places extra pressure on customers needing service.
After spending 6 hours of my own time attempting to clear a clog in the kitchen sink, I decided to call for a plumber. I called four different companies and asked each about their pricing and schedule; the final company called was Roto-rooter. The lady who answered was pleasant and professional. Steve, the serviceman, was professional and knowledgeable of his trade. Because this was a Sunday call and my work week did not have the flexibility to wait for regular service, I decided to choose Roto-Rooter even though other Yelpers warned about the pricing policy of not giving an estimate over the phone. When the serviceman arrived, he evaluated the situation and quoted $240 to clear the drain in an island sink + $50 for a Sunday call. Obviously on the spot with limited options, I ok'd the service.
The sink works but I'm frustrated by Roto-rooters's pricing policy. Their Sunday price was comparable to other plumbers contacted and I may have picked them knowing their price over the phone. This pricing tactic is enough to give me pause when looking for plumber for other services.

This entire review is simply my opinion of the experience I had with this company on 1/27/16.
The short version, my house went on the market and sold within days. The inspection was scheduled in a few days and I had three MINOR plumbing issues which needed to be addressed. But for lack of the proper tools I could have done it myself.
Two service men arrived, I showed them the work and the supplies I had in place. The apparent supervisor had an agitated look on his face and I can only speculate that he was frustrated a few opportunities to pad the bill so when I asked for the estimate he gave me what I considered a wildly unreasonable quote for labor of $230 and a few parts. When I questioned his bid pointing out it was pretty easy work that wouldn't take long he became aggressive and loud. As I was kinda in a spot, I told him to go ahead with the work and that for the remainder of his time on my property I expected to be spoken to in a professional manner.
I allowed the second tech into the house to do the work needed, wanting Mr. Smart Mouth to remain outside. The conversation with the second tech was pleasant. The work was done to my satisfaction and took about 30 minutes. Now the average rate for a plumber is about $65/hour. How was it that for one hour of labor I had to pay $230? Is this reasonable? In my opinion, it isn't.
The topper was after paying Mr. Smart Mouth (outdoors) and the work was done I was in my house feeling gouged but glad it was over. I turn a corner and there is Mr. Smart Mouth in my hallway. No ringing of the bell, no permission to enter... He said he wanted to make amends and to be honest I was not interested in the least. He said he had called my real estate agent and was offering me $21 back. WHAT? You called my real estate agent to tattle? You 5'5 (ish) little bundle of aggression, act all dominant and at the end of the day you are about as tough as little girl. Amends were not made.
It isn't just about money. I don't take being spoken down to by anyone let alone a humonculus that I am paying. My suggestion, learn some ethics and when being a bully doesn't pan out for you try some manners.

After the purchase of my 1960's home in 2019 I found several plumbing issues. Even Flow (Bobbie) was recommended to me by my Real Estate Agent Eva. Bobbie was incredibly skilled and knowledgeable in all areas from my hot water heater to my bathroom re-pipe. Even Flow is the only company I will continue to use for all my futue plumbing issues.
