Chris and his team were recommend to me by a family friend. After initial contact he and his team were hired and a schedule was set. We wanted to brighten our kitchen up and we went from dark brown to a lighter green and couldn't have been happier!

They started and finished as agreed and I've recommended Chris several time myself.

It was a pleasure working with Cris and his team. The painters were extremely courteous, professional and prompt. They respected my home and delivered what they promised. It was a beautiful paint job and I would easily recommend this company.

Chris and his team did a fabulous job on my kitchen cabinets! They went from dark brown to white. It looks like I got new cabinets. I am beyond thrilled. I saved a ton of money. Buying new cabinets was completely out of budget. This is a great way to remodel a kitchen. Def recommend!!

We had our interior walls and kitchen cabinets painted back in September, but wanted to wait until our kitchen was finished with countertops and backsplash before we posted pics. AZ West did an amazing job! These guys were on top of it with their communication and were realistic with the time frame for completion. They painted our ceiling, baseboards and doors too! Plus installed hardware for our cabinets. They also offered to paint the interior of the pantry. 4 months later and the cabinets are still looking incredible. Highly recommended!! Never received a response; which is equivalent to standing at the front counter of a restaurant waiting to be seated and the hostess never shows up. Such an analogy is applicable to this painting enterprise or the lack thereof.

Love love love the transformation to my home!!!  Juan was meticulous to detail. If you need painting done this is the company to hire.  My quote was over $1000 less than other companies and they were able to get my job done the next week as other companies were 4-6 weeks out scheduling.

We are beyond thrilled with our new kitchen!   Chris and Ryan said what they could do and they did it. The cupboards turned out beautiful.  Very professional, timely, tidy, and pleasant to work with.

I requested estimates from several companies to paint my new home on a Sunday morning. Not only did I receive a immediate response they were able to start the job Monday morning. They color matched the paint from  a sample I had collected elsewhere and it was perfect.

They were there Monday morning to begin the task. I have elderly cats and the team was so good about closing the door and being kind to they scared behaviors.

They did an exceptional job and left the house clean and tidy.  We'll be using AZ west again for future painting projects.

We sent an interior paint project request out on yelp and received numerous responses. We selected AZ West Painting based on reputation and the prompt in person quote provided. They weren't the cheapest quote, but we shop for quality to reduce headaches in the end.

Bonus to the quote, was ability to start a couple days later. This meant we get to move into the home that much faster.

Chris, his son Ryan and the team were meticulous covering and protecting non painted areas, such as our brand new floor, lighting, and shower. This continued through paint finish, cleanup and personalized walk through to ensure we inspected every detail.

We have used other painters in the past, with mixed results. This by far was the best experience. We plan to have our exterior painted soon and won't be looking elsewhere. We can reinforce their 5 star rating and look forward to the exterior paint job ahead.

In June 2020 we decided to get our kitchen and bathroom cabinets repainted. After get a few quotes, reviewing the work and reviews, we decided to go with AZ West Painting. They were really quick with responding and we got to go over some different color ideas. The job was complete within the time frame they told us and they did a really amazing job. They were professional and they explained the process to us so we knew what they were doing on what days. I would recommend this company to anyone. I would give AZ PAINTING 6 stars if possible, totally a 1st class company the crew Juan & Rafael we're both outstanding professionals. Friendly and personable,no request was refused no matter how small.
The job done using highest quality materials at a reasonable price point.hopefully the following pictures relay that.

I'm terrible for not having written this review much sooner. I am thrilled with the work AZ West has done for my family.

Cris and his crew have now painted both the inside (2016) and outside of my house (2018). He fixed some drywall for us, too. He is honest, generous and fair.

If you want someone who will do the job right, to the highest of standards, this is your guy. He starts with an inspection, noting any needed structural repairs, his crew paints, and he does a final walkthrough to ensure satisfaction. He genuinely wants you to be happy with the job.

Cris gives several price options for different tiers of paint quality. Its worth it to go top tier if you'll be staying in your home. If you want someone who will do it for cheap, AZ West isn't for you... but you'll probably be paying more to do it again when the sun destroys the paint after only a couple years (as I've seen my neighbors do). You can't really have cheap and high quality together under the AZ sun. AZ West has reasonable prices and exceptional, professional results. A worthy investment.

Cris came out and gave us an on-the-spot fair quote. He provided color suggestions when we asked for them as well. His crew did a solid job. We found a couple of small spots with issues and Cris was very responsive and personally came out and touched up the spots we found and a couple smaller ones we hadn't noticed. This is an honest professional company with solid prices!

Just recently bought a new house. New construction out in Buckeye. Chris and his team did an excellent job with all the interior painting on this house. The house was empty because we hadn't moved in yet (gave him the keys the day after we closed), and they still prepped and taped off every single piece of baseboard and flooring they could, professionally and cleanly to give the best result. Chris was very helpful with the paint and helped us find the right color. One of the colors we chose for two of the bathrooms came out too light for our liking, he put the paint away, took it to the store, added some darker pigment into it, and came back to see if we liked it, and we did. The new color is very nice and compliments our interior nicely.

My wife is very happy with the work, and very happy with the communication and service. Lets face it, at the end of the day, that's what matters. Thank you Chris for a wonderful product!! We couldn't be happier, and we will be sure to pass out the cards you gave us to everyone looking for a painter!

Do NOT due your due diligence and then Cris will provide you a quote.  Questions I asked came from a Consumer Report:  How to hire a painter; however, Cris stated that I asked too many questions.  According to Cris, his customers don't ask questions.  Although I see a few reviews dating back to 2016 and only 3 reviews in 2018, it's suspect.  When asked if he could provide me with references...pretty much he told me to read yelp.  He mumbled something that gathering references wasn't going to be easy for him.  Also, I asked him if he had a painter's liability and workers' compensation insurance certificates he said he did along with his licenses but none of this info would be provided to me unless I accepted his bid. I find his response very interestingly unprofessional.  Glad he didn't provide me with a quote; however, I am sure it would have been very entertaining since it seems like he charges a la carte for many things.  Cris did mention several times...everything costs money  Note:  A consumer understands the concept of paying for goods rendered but when it's not clear what they're paying for, a consumer should have the right to understand exactly what s/he should expect.

Cris and his crew are nothing short of amazing. They were extremely professional and preformed just as promised. I have already recommended him to several friends. If you are looking to get cabinets redone or need to get your home painted, look no further. This is the company you should choose. You won't be sorry!

From my first inquiry to the final coat of paint, AZ West is the most professional and honest painting company I've ever worked with! Cris responded quickly and efficiently to my emails and text messages. Juan came out and took his time to answer all of our questions and provide us with an estimate. He and his team painted the exterior of our house and did an excellent job! Their estimate was very fair and they were able to work with our schedule to complete the work. They did repairs on our stucco and repaired our doors before painting. They used the best quality Dunn Edwards paint and the results were outstanding! We are so very pleased! We had our open kitchen/dining/sitting area ceiling and walls repainted. He kept things covered and clean which I especially appreciate since the floors and cabinet paint are new. I just wanted to give a shout out to AZ West Painting.  If anyone is looking for exterior or interior painting this is the company you need.  We had him paint the exterior of our home.  I called 3 different places so I could get 3 different quotes.  Chris called and came out to give me an estimate before the other two even got back to me.  Very reasonable priced, his work crew were very professional, did an amazing job, cleaned up well after themselves, and were great to work with. AmaZing job by Chris and his crew.. I just bought a house and was very crunched for time to get moved in. Chris helped me decide colors by showing many different samples. He fixed baseboards that were missing (no charge) and did so with such a great attitude. I would definitely hire this crew again. Very polite and professional. We moved into a beautiful house which my wife wished to personalize. We invested in stainless steel appliances, granite counters, new tiles in areas, all new carpeting, etc. You get the point. The top of icing was to be the PAINT JOB, inside & out. Being a registered nerd & proud of it, I researched Painters & interviewed several. Read reviews carefully & the choice was obvious:  AZ West Painting & owner, Chris Arevalo. Every review was overwhelmingly positive! Our experience:  fantastic crew of five. They came early & worked all day, leaving promptly at 4:30pm., giving us our house back. They attacked the job with energy, gentle care & yet respectfully left the kitchen, the bedroom, TV's accessible to the point we were the least bit inconvenienced under the circumstances. The care with which the furniture was moved & our sentimental delicate picture frames, paintings & artifacts handled was comforting. The paint inside & outside was excellent.
But, above all, after the work was done, Chris, the owner, walked us thro' the final inspection as though it was HIS house! Everything that we asked him to do, be it remove an inefficient mister, or land line phone plates, he did it without charge & good cheer, a nod & a smile! We would highly recommend AZWest Painting. It was a great experience from start to finish. I called Cris and asked if he could give us an estimate on painting the wood trim. He said he could be there within 30 mins and was!! He then gave us a written proposal, we had to wait for approval from HOA. After we rec'd that I gave Cris a call and they came over two days later to start the job. The first day they did the power wash and filled the wood. The second day they painted. Both Cris and his son were very understanding of our concerns. We replaced all our windows and were fearful of overspray so they covered every window with plastic. We also liked the fact that all the workers worked very efficiently and quietly. And when they left they picked up all trash.

Owner Chris and son were amazing! I called them today for a last second paint job I couldn't finish on my own (very tall stairwell) and he not only was in the area on another job, but he came over and started work immediately! He was very affordable, professional, and didn't mind taking on the smaller job by itself. Will definitely be using his company for future paint jobs. Thanks!
