Scott and Angela went above and beyond for us! We ended up in a situation needing a painter with a few days notice. Scott moved some things around to get the job done for us quickly. The team was professional and completed the job fast. I would definitely recommend this team and would hire them again!

I hired Arizona's Best Family Painting to paint the interior of my home. In addition, I paid extra ($500) for wall paper removal in two bathrooms. In the initial conversations with the company, I was also told they had a workmanship warranty.

The paint job was horribly done, and I did endless touch ups myself. However, the most concerning part was the wallpaper removal. The walls looked horrible, nothing like other walls in the home. I contacted AZBFP multiple times via phone and email, sometimes with a response, sometimes without. I initially asked for it to be re-done, it was never scheduled. I then repeatedly asked for a refund, it was never received. The paint job was finished in October, it is now April and I hired and paid another contractor to re- do the work. I would not recommend Arizona's Best Filmily Painting to anyone.

They might be good painters but business practices, common courtesy and professionalism are atrocious. Initial call to Scott was great. He was quick to setup an appointment and even called 10 minutes prior to the appointment to inform me he would be late. Since i was off work that day, i told him that would not be a problem and to take his time. Somehow, he took that as don't come at all, dont return my phone calls (after leaving messages on his mobile and main number) and don't return my text messages over the next 48 hrs. Taking 10 seconds to reply to someone you completely blew off a confirmed appointment with seems too much to ask from this guy. If the owner would like to contest my experience, I'll be happy to post the screenshots of my unanswered text messages here for all to see.

After having ABFP do a great job painting my interior on a tight schedule right before the 2021 holidays, I contacted them to do my exterior last month. They fit me right in and got the job done in less than 2 days despite the summer heat. Their painters were very friendly, polite and right one time, and Scott stopped by on day 1 to confirm my HOA-approved color and answer my questions. Prior to painting, they also did a lot of stucco repair, and the end result looks fantastic. I recommend them for both interior and exterior jobs!

I just had the exterior of my house painted and finished today by Michael and Cecilio and I can't say enough about the quality job they did and their thoroughness in completing the work.  They both were friendly and well mannered, and had great attitudes.  There was a lot of cracking and patch work as the house hadn't been painted in 22 yrs and I recently bought the home in North Scottsdale.  There was nothing but a desire to fix it and leave the house looking great, and me happy...mission accomplished!

Scott (Michael's brother) handled the initial visit and quote professionally and quickly and even followed up to ask for the job.  They were very reasonably priced and completed my home in the time promised.  

What a great team and well run company and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone, and I'll be using them again for some interior work.

No issues at all with them. They were quick and efficient. It's been 6 months and the paint still looks great! I plan to use them again!

We just had the entire interior of our house and garage painted by Arizona's Best Family Painting.

For us this was a major undertaking as we have lived here for 20 years. Tons of stuff to move. The good news is the crew did most of the heavy lifting. We are in our 70's and not as fit as we once were.

They covered everything thoroughly from sprinkler heads to the floor. Preparation and the put back is a major piece of their work. Likely there are hundreds if not a thousand things to cover, protect, move and put back.

We commend Michael, Cecilio, Angel and several other workers as needed. They were there everyday. At the end of the process Michael (family member) walked through with us and handled all of our requests. They came back the next week to fix up a few other items. Good news, they planned 5 days and completed the job in 5 days.

Emptying some closets, the pantry and moving lots of kitchenware was our big task. Which brings us to the kitchen where we had all the kitchen cabinets refinished.  We have a large kitchen. Pedro and his crew handled the entire cabinet part of the job. Five stars for Pedro and his crew.

This truly is a local family business, Father-in-law, Daughter Angela on the accounting end, Scott, Michael and college son Ben all part of the work force.

Honestly such great service and work provided by Arizona's Best Family Painting, I plan to use them again! They were quick, considerate of not ruining anything in the house and painted the cabinets perfectly. Its been almost a year and the cabinets are still in great shape!

About three weeks ago I had AZ Best Family Painting do the full interior of the house I recently bought.  Crew showed up and knocked out what was planned to be a 3 day job in 2 days.  That may be partially do to the fact the house was pretty empty and I'd pretty much stripped the place of HVAC registers and outlet covers.  Either way... the paint job turned out absolutely gorgeous!  Couldn't be happier!

Unfortunately, the drywall guys who had come in prior to painting had really screwed up a seem that they promised I wouldn't be seen after paint... they were wrong.  Post painting, the drywall guys came out and repaired the seam correctly.  Id talked to Scott at AZ Best  to have the crew come back out to repair the paint job (fully reimbursable) as well as quote the exterior of the house.  However, after picking up the final payment for the interior paint job... crickets.  Three weeks later, multiple texts, calls, and emails...  not a single response.  Pretty disappointing.

Moral of the story, they'll do a great paint job... BUT... If you need literally anything additional done... make sure you have them do it before they pick up final payment.  Otherwise, pretty solid chance of them ghosting.
Still curious why they'd pass up also doing a full exterior since it was pretty much theirs if the price was decent.  Some people are a mystery.

They apparently don't want to make appointments for work.  Our initial conversation was fantastic.   I followed up via email to setup an actual appointment for them to assess everything for a true quote.  They don't seem to want any business.  I ask them what time works best for them and they reply with, What's your schedule.  I come back with I'm wide open and I get no response.  I email two more times and get no response.

I have delayed painting my entire house a full month because I was so impressed with them from the get go.  However, they apparently do NOT care about any business and now I don't know if I will get the job done prior to family visiting.

The name of the supervisor was Jason M.  Yelp removed my original review from two years ago. Whatever.
Maybe the place is better now but the painting service I received was mediocre at best and the supervisor was unprofessional. Here are some pictures of the painting job.

UPDATE: Improving original review to 2 stars. The owner reached out and I appreciate him doing so. In fairness to him I did not bring my dissatisfaction to the company's attention. At the time. I had only dealt with Jason M. and he was so rude and aggressive that I didn't want to deal with him so just let it be.

Scott and Angela are such a great team! Their communication was amazing and friendly! I have already recommended them to several friends! Use Arizona's Best Family Painting for your next paint project, you won't regret it!

Initially quick to respond.  Per his request I sent him pictures and video of the job I needed done.  I never received text or phone call back.  A week later I left another voicemail, received no response.  They responded after 2 weeks saying they had been travelling.  Who leaves a self-employed business with no one to take care or respond to customers?

We had a wonderful experience using AZBFP! They really saved us and did a great job in the exterior of our house! Michael, Jose and their crew did an amazing job, while they took such great care for our yard and stuff. They covered everything, prepared by properly tapping, and put everything back looking perfect! I am so grateful for their hard work in making our home look beautiful!! I would recommend them for any job inside or out! They are a family run business that treats you like family! Look no further for a painter, you will be happy you choose AZBFP!!

AZ's Best Family Painting did a nice job on our home and painted a door inside our house as well. Unfortunately, they did crack a few tiles on our roof during the process. We were worried enough about roof protection that we added some language to the contract about it. We let Robert know that there were cracked tiles and asked him to assist in replacing them, which he said he would do, but we never heard back from them again.

We had AZBFP come out to give a quote on restraining our staircase. They were able to thoroughly explain all the options that were available to us. I am very picky and wanted to match our tile wood floor so they were very patient and came out 3 different times with samples until it met my needs. They were able to complete the entire project in one day. I highly recommend using them for any staining needs.

Ron was extremely professional and helpful. I was in. A time crunch due to HOA and not only did he work with me on my schedule but the work was done a day earlier than expected. His guys not only fixed all the random cracks a holes that were on the house but took the time to look over the house 3 different times after the work was done to make sure it looked it's best! I would highly recommend them if you are looking to get your house done. We will definitely be using them to do the inside of our house and any future needs.

These guys use quality paints, have attention to detail and are easy to work with.

This review is long overdue.  We hired these guys to repaint the entire interior of our home before moving in this past November.  Bob's estimate was half that of another we received and we were VERY pleased with the quality of their work.  We were moving from Chicago and had timing logistics to work around and Bob (owner) was quite flexible in pushing the job back to accommodate things for us.  We must say that the job was very well done and met ALL of our expectations.  As any large job like this, there are always a few things that you find that need to be fixed.  We called Bob about such items (very minor) and Bob promptly came over to take a look and was over the next day to fix and do the several touch-ups.  Highly recommend Arizona's Best Family Painting!

With some contracting jobs no matter how much you do your research ahead of time, you just never can tell what you are going to get until the job is done.  With AZ Best Painting, I ended up being TOTALLY satisfied and happy:

- Came our right away and gave me a bid
- Pricing was in my budget and fell in line with what I was expecting
- The guys who did the work clearly knew what they were doing. Fast, but good. They bent over backwards to do the job right, and they really taped up everything really good before they started.
- While they were working, we had neighbors come over and get their cards...liking what they see, especially after I shared with them what was bid (all of the houses in my neighborhood are pretty much the same size).

When done (2 days total, and not even 2 full days), the guys cleaned up and I was left with a house that looks brand new. Compliments from everyone who's seen it.

I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Robert and his team have now painted my entire house. Inside last year when I first moved in. Did a great job. Called them back to do the outside of the house and they impressed me again. I live out of state and can trust they will always do a quality job. I would highly recommend them to everyone and will definitely use them for any job going forward.

I want to thank Robert and his team for painting the exterior of our house this past week. The team came on 3  different days to power wash, caulk, filling in the cracks on the wall, and paint the exterior of the house. They were very punctual and professional. We are very satisfied with the work.

Last week we had our home painted with this company.  We are very pleased with all aspects of doing business with ABFP.  Initially an appointment was set up to come out and give me a bid.  The process was quick and efficient.  I got the bid, set up a day for the home to be painted, the painters showed up when they said they would and got the work done during the specified time frame I was quoted.  Their work was through and done exactly as the contract stated.  The home was left clean no paint residue anywhere.  I will be calling them again for any paint jobs we have coming up.  I highly recommend this company.

Wont use again.   I guess I expecting a better finish at this cheaper price.  Yes paint looks ok.. but was looking forward to all the experience applied to my older surface.  I felt the job was rushed..

My experience with Bob and his company were mostly good when it came to the work and price I paid. although maybe in the future you shouldn't use the sprinkler valve box as a place to clean out your paint brushes and sprayers.
However, he has selective memory when it comes to thanking his customers for sending work his way. I am in the sales industry where word of mouth and referral payouts are a part of what we do. Almost every contractor, I have ever dealt with pays a referral fee. To the business it is inexpensive advertising to land you thousands of dollars in work. I have a landscaper that also builds pools and I have sent him 4 pool jobs and he has paid me as much as $1,000 for each.....I didn't ask, he just offered as a thank you. when I got the first one of those how hard do you think it was for me to recommend him again, especially since I know he does amazing work too?

When my home was painted I asked Bob if they paid referral fees and he promptly said Yes we do. I told him I had a friend that liked what he saw and wanted to get his home painted and asked how much the referral fee was....most places it is a flat amount. He replied to that question with depends on the size and amount of the job. That leads me to believe that Yes, we pay referral fees and the bigger the job, the bigger the amount. Fast forward 2 years my neighbor asks me, How did you like your painter? I gave rave reviews about Bob and his company and told my neighbor, they pay a referral fee, make sure and mention my name.....so they did.

After the $4,000 + job was completed, a complete interior and exterior repaint. I contacted Bob about the referral fee and to tell him I have another friend I am sending his way and was told I don't remember ever telling anyone that I would pay a referral fee!
What??
I reminded him about our conversation and he vehemently argued that we never discussed that. After he was done calling me a liar I let him know that I would tell my other friend to go elsewhere, not due to quality of work but due to poor customer service. He then offered me a $25-$50 gift card which I declined, not due to amount but due to the principal of the matter. Don't call me a liar and then offer me a gift card as an apology.

They do good work with the exception of digging holes and using sprinkler boxes to clean their paint equipment....keep a washbasin on your trucks to clean your equipment with...not our property!

But if you want an honest person that is a man of his word bidding your job I may look elsewhere!

To Bob and his company. 5% of a job is routine as a referral fee...you may want to reconsider what that is really worth to you and your company.

This review is solely based on trying to get a quote from Rob. No actual work was done because we didn't get that far.

I'm looking to have the interior of my house painted and called 4 companies (including ABFP) last week to schedule times for them to come out and provide quotes. The other 3 had no problem showing up, with one even calling to let me know he missed a turn and would be running 5-10 minutes late. Unfortunately, Rob never came nor did he bother to call or text to let me know.

He left a voicemail this morning saying, he missed our appointment because he came down with the flu. No apology whatsoever for the inconvenience but he did want to know if it'd be possible to reschedule. I figured out you missed the appointment on my own, Rob, as I hung around the house waiting. People get sick and things happen -- totally understandable. But to no-show without any communication or apology is completely unacceptable when there are other companies/owners who do value a potential customer's time.

If you scroll through these reviews, you can see that it's not a first time incident. Sorry Rob, you and your crew probably do good work but it's pretty weak to leave someone hanging.

We were able to schedule easily and accommodating to my crazy work schedule.  His crew finished on schedule and I am so impressed with the outcome. Armando, Mario and Kevin were very professional, conscientious of their work and my home and always confirmed with me when they had questions about my expectations of the work.

I'm very picky, I know, and AZ Best Family Painting had a long list of tasks including drywall repair, stucco and painting but they took great care to make sure nothing was damaged in my home and they cleaned up after the job. They were easy to work with and very accomodating when I found items I wanted added to the repair list. They did a great job and it was very reasonably priced as well. These guys are my go-to company from now on. I'm very happy to recommend them.

Me and my wife were very pleased from start to finish with Robert  and his crew. We were very impressed with the detailed prep work and minor repairs - totally unexpected. The crew was very meticulous and detailed. Robert was very professional and a pleasure to due business with. In addition, his constant follow-up via phone or in person was very impressive. It was a pleasure to know that he actually cared and was very accommodating to our needs/requirements. Long post ahead...This review is way overdue as our house was painted inside and out by this company in December and into January. My delay in writing it sooner is because I was so angry at the time I didn't want my feelings to interfere with my review. Some time has passed and although angry feelings have lessened, I still would NEVER use this company again. The following are issues we had: lacked attention to detail (large areas that weren't painted, paint in the light switches so they look dirty, thin spots in the paint, paint literally scraping off our walls, we were told by the Dunn Edwards rep to let it cure for a few weeks, it's been 6+ mos and the paint can easily be removed in some areas with normal cleaning, we are a family of five, three being kids), we told them more than once that we had no intention of leaving our house during the job. My kids are in school and it was finals time. They used a sprayer on the inside knowing that we had NO intention of leaving. Which caused us to have to  pack up at 9pm at night and relocate to a hotel for 2 nights so we wouldn't be inhaling paint dust. The process was not explained well. All of my door stoppers were removed for painting, as they should have been, but I was literally left with 4-5 at completion. As a result a hole was put in a wall after painting because there was no door stop. The fascia repair prior to painting was atrocious. The grout in my floor had large areas of white paint. They didn't cut in the paint around the edges. Only 1 coat of paint and again it was super thin in areas to where you could see the previous color coming through. The drywall repairs were poor quality. I have a T painted on my kitchen ceiling where they tried to fix the repair and you can totally tell. There is paint on my light fixtures. In one of the rooms they didn't paint around outlets, there was a 2 inch margin that wasn't painted. They painted a large portion of my toilet. My husband and I walked the house marking the areas that we felt needed addressed with tape. Some of them were fixed others I am quite certain the tape was removed and the issue not addressed because it was an area where the paint was peeling. They were going to sand it and repaint. You can tell it wasn't sanded because the edges are still prominent and paint was just reapplied. This speaks to the lack of attention to detail. They left a small bucket full of paint with a brush in it in my daughter's room. That could have been disastrous had I not found it first. Ron, along with Rob and Scott came out to walk the house after much debate about the owners needing to see the job done by their company. Some of these things were addressed, but not until after Christmas. Our Christmas consisted of a tree in our empty living room with camping chairs because we didn't want to put everything back before they were finished. They did pay for our hotel stay. They repaired the hole in the wall. I had to buy new doorstops to replace the old ones that never reappeared. I was told the reason they sprayed is because hand painting it would have cost a lot more. I feel that should have been my decision to make, as I am the one paying for it. I am not unhappy with the outside job although the crew left painting trash in our yard. But everyday I see areas in my house where paint is still scratched off or thin and those angry feelings return.

Robert, along with: Chuy, Ramon, and Carlos did an amazing job in 3 days + 1/2 day power wash. In up to 115 degrees days this June they started at 5am to beat the heat. They are pros in every sense of the word. They were respectful, easy to work with and left everything in order each day. They did our roof with an elasto-maric coating, two coats of paint on house, trim and touch up with an attention to detail. We are very pleased and recommend them highly.

We just had Arizona's Best Family painting repaint the interior of our home, and they painted our kitchen and bathroom cabinets. What a beautiful job. Rob was very detailed about how the work would be done and what to expect, and came by several times during the week as the work progressed. The off white lacquer finish on the cabinets looks like factory original quality. The crew was very efficient and did a wonderful job painting our interior walls as well. Very pleased with the professionalism and quality of work from start to finish.

Roberts's team did a great job on painting the exterior of our home and they were in and out in 3 days! I will definitely hire them again!

Arizona Best Painting does excellent work.  They go the extra mile to be sure its done right.   It took 3 days to do my exterior, but one day was all scraping and prep work...house had not been painted in 17 years!  I think 3 days was very quick considering the amount of work they had to do.  Rob suggested I upgrade the paint to the highest level Dunn Edwards has, he even got me samples of both to show me the difference.  I did update and boy was it worth it.  The guys doing the painting were exceptional!  I am yet to find any overspray or mistakes of any size!

AZ Best Family Painting just completed an exterior house paint job for my wife and I yesterday, and the results were fantastic! The price was extremely reasonable, the crew was respectful and knowledgeable, and Scott came out and worked with us to figure out the best look for the mixture of our base and trim paint colors, which was extremely handy for someone like me who has never gone through a house panting before. Additionally, we had kind of a tricky situation with a backyard patio that couldn't be walked on, and so the crew problem solved and cut no corners to make sure everything was done as requested. I highly recommend these guys for anyone looking for a great company to work with!

Scott has been more than helpful in helping me stucco and paint my house.  He is attentive, friendly, and prompt.  So rare to find good and trustworthy people so this guy's a gem!

These guys do an amazing job. They are extreme perfectionists. They were pleasant to work with and will go above and beyond your expectations, as they did with us.  Their pricing is very compatible to the other quotes that we received. They will also work with you to beat any other quote you may have gotten. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who is looking to have their home painted. They painted our home, our border walls, gates and even our basketball hoop Pole.  They sent four guys out to do the job and they finished in three days. All workers were easy to talk to, very friendly and professional. They provide suggestions, example having us purchase new lighting, replacing our current lights which were old and faded and installed them at no additional cost.

These guys just finished painting my wooden stair rails.  They were terrific.  They showed up on time and finished on time.  The work was perfect.  I would definitely use them again.  Thanks Robert and Crew.

I am going to preface this by saying I got their services 3 years ago.  I am finally posting this because of the last straw I just found out when doing touch up.  And before Robert (Bob) says this isn't his business.  It really is.  I have been grouchy about the services since I got them and remembered the name.

We were moving into a new build and I was new to the area. We needed the whole interior of the house painted. I saw the fantastic reviews here and their bid was amazing.  In fact, most of the reason I didn't post was because I feel like I should have put more research into a company.  Here is my experience:

1. It was difficult to get in touch with the owners.  Every time I called to ask what's up, I would get an Oh I was just about to call you!  That works a total of once.  3 times and no...you weren't.  

2.  They told me it was going to take 2 days.  This was important because I was moving out of a rental with 2 kids and a dog while my husband was out of the country on business.  The day we were supposed to be able to get in, they were still halfway through.

3.  We had our cats moved into the house when they came.  I asked if I had them in the laundry room if that was going to be a problem.  They said no, they would do that last.  Just come the next day and change the location. I came the next day and the guy was already prepping the laundry room.  Not the last room.  But worse, I asked where my cats were.  Guy said I don't know.  They weren't here when I opened the door  Plastic over the counters to the floor and I hear this yowl from inside.  My cats had been in the cabinet with plastic over them.  No one seemed to care.  i got them out and safe counting it lucky I came in when I did.

4.  We have wooden railing on the staircase and over the loft.  It was covered but not well enough.  Paint dust got in and to this day I have permanent paint dusting on my wrought iron and wood that makes it look like it needs cleaning when there is nothing more I can clean.

5.  They banged the wall and put a big ding in it.  I asked them to repair it over and over and they never did.  When they came for the final payment I just caved because I was tired of dealing with them to be honest.  I repaired it.  And yes, I should have withheld payment.  I take that on which is why I didn't post a review.

6.  This is the straw.  When they were done, one of the colors didn't look like the color I requested.  I told them it didn't look right.  They insisted it was the color I asked for.  They showed me the lid of the can and it said the name of the shade.  I am usually really good with color so I blamed my self wondering how I could have messed that up.  Last weekend,  I needed to do touch up. I went to get the paint can.  the paint inside was gooey and separated.  It wouldn't mix.  Well, it had been 3 years so I suppose not too surprising though I feel like good paint won't do that.  I went to Home Depot and asked for the shade in quart size.  I know that sometimes the shade can be slightly different if mixed between gallon and quart so if it had been a slight tinge off I would have been ok and tried to blend.  But no.  This color was WAY off.  So off I can't figure out a way to get the color that is on my walls matched.  The lid of the goopy touch up can they left had black smudges all over it so no idea the color ratios.

In the end, the prices they bid look really good.  I gave 2 stars because I should have known.  You get what you pay for and I did.

Roberts crew did an excellent job on my house. They did the house and detached garage of mine in central Phoenix. I requested several areas to be fixed in order to have a superior look to my house. All request were made without hesitation and hands down the best painting company in the valley. Also, very pleased how clean they left my house. The price of the job id say was reasonable with high quality work. Definitely would recommend Robert and his crew to do interior/exterior paint jobs for your house!

The team did a great job painting the interior of our house.  They were prompt, courteous,and efficient.  The house was being readied for rental and the job needed to be completed as quickly as possible.  They were able to get it scheduled without much delay.

The house looks great, better than it ever has really.  We decided to have the acoustical (popcorn) ceiling removed as well.  The price quoted for the entire job was fair and the team did a wonderful job.

Just awful. Bob drove all the way from Peoria to Chandler in rush hour to give me an in-home estimate and then he disappeared. I called him a couple of days later to follow-up and he gave me a quote over the phone. I liked his numbers, so I said sure, let's do this. He was supposed to send me a formal contract and proposal and he never did. I emailed him twice to follow-up and, what do you know, crickets.

If you don't want my money then why would you come out for an estimate? Thanks for wasting my time. I will make sure that everyone in my network knows to never go into business with this company. They're  flaky and unprofessional.

Bob came out on the weekend to give me an estimate on finishing some painting and texturing for my walls.  He gave me a quote and said they could possibly do the work on Monday.  He called before Monday saying that his drywaller was out for a week and could not come, but would not commit to a date past the week.  I called him back and asked him to schedule for the following Monday and he said he would let me know.  He never called me back.  If he didn't want to do the job, why not just say so and not waste my time?  I hate when contractors do this.  It turned out I found a better painter anyway that kept his commitment and did an outstanding job.

And, I just read your comment you later posted end of November, Bob.  What a complete lie.  I didn't insist on anything.  You gave me a quote and then did not follow through.  You NEVER told me you decided not to do the job.  Your twist in what happened further shows your lack of integrity.    You are not 'professionals' as you boasted to be when you were here.

The company I work for is moving locations and we desperately needed our new office painted before we laid down some wood floors.  Operating on a budget, I was tasked to find a good painter at an even better price.  After several estimates, all of which seemed ridiculously high, I was referred to Robert by a coworker who had used Arizona's Best Painting for her home.

Not only did they come out and give me an estimate that was $1000 cheaper than the lowest we'd received, they were able to start work in the new office and finish in the same day.

I worked with Robert and I like that it's a family business. I immediately trusted him and could tell he knows his stuff. The job was done on time and exactly how he said it would be done. They even repaired a little piece of broken window trim which I appreciated.

We recently purchased a new home, and being new to the area, found ABP on Yelp.  Bob came by and quoted us, and my wife and I chose him for our interior paint job.  Bob and his son (Bob) were personable, friendly, and honest right from the start.  They were able to get started on the job quickly - I believe it was the following week - and finished our 2800 sq. foot home in about 3 or 4 days.  And the job was thorough and professional, too - not just a quick coat of paint slapped on the walls.  He followed up with us a few weeks later when our floors were complete to come and touch up the baseboards, and we also had him paint our hallway cabinets which turned out great as well.  My wife commented on how friendly his crew was, so all things considered, we were very glad we chose ABP.  Thanks Bob and Bob!

Bob and his team at Arizona Best Painting has indeed lived up to their name. They have been the best! As a Cancer Non-Profit it can be tough to find a company that will be both flexible with you and do an amazing job. Bob's Team went to great lengths to be flexible with us during business hours and even with set backs like weather they were in and out in less than a weeks time with a 3 color exterior paint job of over 3,000 SQFT. To really make things complicated this historical home has numerous pitched roofs, levels, and awnings. They really took their time and patched up any trim or stucco issues that we had and did an excellent job on paint matching what was already there. This is a local family owned business that I would trust not only with my non-profit but with my personal home as well.  Bob made a huge impact on these touched by cancer here in Arizona and we are extremely grateful for the work his team did for our home!

Once again Bob came through for me this time.  Last year, Bob painted the interior of my rental.  This year, my rental is due for exterior painting this year.  I call several company and Bob was able to work with me on the price.  He was not the most cheapest, but he is dependable.  He came through with flying color.  I was travel and end up paying with credit card.  He did even charge the additional 3%.  Good guy.  Will definitely use him again if my other rentals need painting.

I've used Bob in the past on a rental property and he and his crew did a great job and the price was competitive.  Tried to get him to work on another property of mine and he dropped the ball.  Said it was scheduled for a certain date and when the date rolled around, he said it never got scheduled and was supposed to call me back with a new date to do the work and I never got a call back.  This frustrated me as well as my tenant who I was coordinating the job around their schedule.  I am just very disappointed in how this all turned out and now I have to start over and find another painter.  They do great work, but use caution in scheduling your paint job as you may have to try several times before they actually come out.

This company is top notch.  The salesman was very honest and not like a used salesman.  The men that painted were awesome. Told us everything they were going to do and help us move things back. There clean up was impeccable. They also did our wall and what a difference, we didn't realize it was so bad until it was done. I would recommend them to anyone and they will be getting more work because our neighbors were impressed and need their houses done. They were all waiting to see how our house turned out.

We bid the job to many different companies and selected Arizona's Best Painting because they were the most thorough for the best price. They addressed the existing streaking by first power washing, treating the home with seal kreete, then using Dunn Edwards paint. They completed the work in less than three days (faster than typical) to accommodate our vacation schedule. The painters were very professional and their work included a lattice structure and the inside and outside of our walls. They went to a lot of work to move structures that were up against the home then move them back so the coverage was complete.. Highly recommend this company if you need to paint your home.

We just had the entire interior of our home painted by Arizona Best Family Painting. They did a great job. Ron came out and did the estimate.  He was so nice and professional.  It was a pleasure from the very beginning. Their pricing was very competitive. Armando and his crew did a great job on the house.  It looks fabulous. They were on time each day and very professional and friendly.  I moved everything to the center of each room but they were  very understanding about the heavy furniture and they moved it for me. The only issue I have is I cannot give ten stars. We just bought our house and needed to get paint done in a short period of time before we moved in. We had another painter fail us twice and we called Robert after some web research. He not only gave us a fair quote, he was also able to get us in the schedule quickly. He and his crew came in and affluent most of the first day masking and covering every little bit they could and nothing was left uncovered. The crew was very friendly, responsive and thorough. After the second day they had finished our whole house and went through with a comband fixed any missed areas and trouble spots. The job came out perfect and the only signs that they were there was a freshly painted house. Just amazing. They have earned a repeat client even I need more painting done.

I couldn't say enough good things about this company. The owner Robert went above and beyond any of my expectations. Their insurance company found them at fault and is replacing our floors. The reimbursement took a while and would have been more convenient to have it occur before we moved in rather than after so we didn't have construction going on. Currently waiting for them to finish the painting job after having to file a formal complaint with the AZROC (Arizona Registrar of Contractors). We scheduled the painting company to come back next weekend. It's been a nightmare having to deal with all this trouble during a time when we should be overjoyed at our new family addition and new home. We hope others have a better experience. Godspeed.

so I'm usually super unimpressed with Arizona contractors, but Bob and his team are a winning combination! I found him on Yelp and contacted him to come out and give me a bid to paint a house I'm selling. He was out within a couple days and gave me a killer price, around $100 a sq/ ft! he was super flexible in our paint color choices and even got a few sample cans for us to look at before we chose the color! His team was done with prep and painting the full exterior of the house, and the block wall, within 2 days! He even went as far to tell me that if he didn't have a crew available on the days I needed, he'd hire a new one! Overall an AWESOME experience with this company. i HIGHLY recommend them for  painting.

Bob and his crew came to our rescue! After giving a deposit to another paint company who never showed up to paint my bedrooms, I contacted Bob and explained my sticky situation. We needed the complete exterior house painted per the HOA.  I try to do my research and had 4 different contractors come out and give me bids.  I check Yelp, Google, and BBB reviews along with making sure the contractor's licenses' are current and there and no major claims against the company.  I was very impressed with Arizona's Best Family Painting. Rob was the estimator who made this job stress free for me.  The price was comparable to the other contractors, in fact it was the middle of all the bids I had to choose from.  I had many reasons why I chose this company:  I liked the warranty that was offered, they do not use subcontractors to come paint (they are employees who have been with them for many years), and the company had the available time frame to complete the job.  What stood out the most was during the initial walk thru to provide me an estimate, Rob noticed things around the house like the garage door moldings were warped and the side gate was looking worn that the other contractors never mentioned.  Rob wanted all the aesthetics around the house to look nice and included that in the price.  He also re-worded the contract for me with specifics so that it would meet our HOA guidelines and that there would be no miscommunication of what was to be expected of Arizona's Best Family Painting.  From start to finish Rob stayed in contact with me; coordinating the time for the power wash of the house beforehand, to coming out with the painters when they started on the 1st day, and making sure the painters took a couple of breaks to let our dogs potty.  The painters made sure everything was covered that shouldn't get paint on them, disconnected all light fixtures, and always cleaned up before they left for the day.   The work on the exterior of the house was not simple as there were pop outs to be painted a separate color from the body, front door, garage, new gloss on the gate, and scrapping off the old paint under the patios.  I also paid extra to have the entire house backrolled to really bring out the sheen on stucco wall and ensure that the house looks absolutely new.  Boy did it!  The whole crew literally back rolled the house and took such pride in their work.  It looked amazing afterwards!  The workers cleaned up everything and all the fixtures were hooked up properly and extra paint was left behind.  Rob will do the final walk thru with you and if you notice anything he is ready to have the guys touch up.   I couldn't be happier with the finished product.  This company met it's promises, was so professional and great to work with, and just made this whole process worry free.  I highly recommend this company and working with Rob M.  The house looks amazingly brand new and I am so satisfied!

Don't waist your time. You fill out a form online, You get a email reply to call a number, You call the number and get directed to another number, You call and leave a detailed message, You get no callback. You call back to tell them they had their chance.  I guess they are too busy to call so.... You call somewhere else.  Notice the review has a lot of You but no they or them.   Lots of options out there.

I agree with the other reviews.  We have a family member that's a painter in another state who told us about what to expect on the bid.  Bob was WAY under what we expected.  He and his crew did a great job, and went back after the new carpet was installed to double check that the baseboard paint hadn't been dinged up by the carpet installers!  I would highly recommend this painter, with no reservations.

Can't say enough good things about the job Arizona's Best Painting did for us, repainting our home this past week.  It was a pleasure to work with Bob Mausbach and his crew of exceptional painters.  Our house not only has a fresh coat of paint, but it got a face lift as well.  Things were taken care of that my husband I am were not even aware of - loose tiles nailed tight again, some woodpecker holes filled, stucco repairs, and fascia repairs.  Attention to detail was present in every aspect of preparation, painting, and finishing touches.  Our front door of alder wood was perfectly restored also with stain and a polyurethane finish.  The work was done in two days, with a crew of six arriving promptly at 7:30 each day.  Would highly recommend this company's performance in excellence, value and customer satisfaction.

I was shell-shocked when I inspected my rental house after the tenant vacated.  It appeared destroyed from top to bottom.  I really didn't know where to turn first and was lucky enough to find Bob thru Yelp.  He answered the phone (not a voice mail or receptionist) and immediately came to assess the damage.

Bob's demeanor and confidence calmed me and his experience helped me develop a plan to restore the home.  He went above and beyond painting by providing a cleaning crew, replacing doors, providing some tenant-proof re-decorating suggestions, and very importantly, reassuring me that it will be ok.

Within days, Bob's crew had taped the windows and appliances, repaired the walls, replaced the doors, primed the walls and ceilings, and painted the entire house including the front door and garage.  With some new flooring the house will look brand new.

I didn't shop around and compare prices because after meeting Bob, I sensed I could count on him.   And he really came thru: always answering his phone; always showing up when scheduled; and ultimately delivering the goods!

My house was absolutely destroyed by Kokopelli Painting Company (kokopellipainting.webs.c…) and Robert from Arizona's Best Family Painting was a life saver.  The previous painters spilled paint over every inch of my flagstone patio, my patio furniture, and any plants that they could target nearby.  The house looked like a child had painted it.  Robert from Arizona's Best Family Painting gave me a very fair quote to try and fix as much of the damage as possible.  They did the work in a day and a half and the results are absolutely perfect.  You will not be disappointed with their work or their professionalism.

This was an interior repair. Several walls had been opened for plumbing surgery. Four colors were involved. I had the mix information for each color. But the original paint job was several years old, so I was concerned about matching the colors. Arizona Best Painting did a great job. Today, you'd never know the walls were repainted. And the price was very reasonable.

I scheduled an appointment to get an estimate to paint my new house. I drove 20 minutes to meet someone there, but no one showed up.

Bob and his crew just finished up a second job for me, and both have been outstanding.  Bob's company is professional, skilled, reasonably priced, and they still have the friendliness of a family owned business that's so hard to find nowadays.  Tell them what you want, as vague or specific as you want, and they'll get it done.  Not sure?  Ask them and they'll give you great recommendations stemming from their years/decades of experience. If you have any concerns with the work, take the time to talk to them, even after they've finished the work.  Bob WILL make it right, as he is proud of his work and stands behind it.  

Basically, these are the only painters I'll use.  Looking forward to working with them in the future.

I had heard good things about Arizona's Best Painting. I called and spoke with Robert and he was at my house the next day to give me an estimate. They weren't the cheapest quote, but also not the highest. Robert did a very thorough walk through, and was back at my house to do the painting the following week. His crew was very professional and courteous. After completing my 3,200 sq ft home in 3 days, their supervisor Jon and his crew stayed to complete a thorough walk through with my husband and I. We were more than pleased and would gladly recommend Arizona's Best Painting to anyone!

I rarely give anything a perfect score and I knew that I would be hard pressed to find a decent painter in Phoenix to replace our long-term painter who recently broke his arm.  We called Arizona Best Painting (ABP) and Bob came over for an estimate.  His price was consistent with other quotes that I received and he had great reviews on Yelp.  I read Mindy and Mary's posts, but neither one of them actually had their houses painted.  They were upset about the estimate and lack of response for the work.  

I asked Bob when he could start and realistically when the job would be finished.  I was also in the process of having my house sealed and asked if he could work around their schedules.  Bob was very accommodating.  Bob let us pick out paint and drove us around our neighborhood explaining which colors were in our HOA's paint scheme and what the color on the brochure would look like on our house.  

We ordered paint samples and Bob encouraged us to put them on our house in different places, accounting for morning and afternoon shadow and to look at the colors at different times of the day to make sure it was what we wanted.  Talk about great customer service.

When it came time to paint, his crew showed up at my house, on time, and ready to go.  They explained what they were going to be doing, asked us when we were gonna need cars out of the garage (so they didn't paint at that time) and went to work.  Our house is two stories and landscape features that make it difficult to use a ladder in places.  But Bob's crew got creative and improvised to make sure the entire house was painted.

When the job was completed, Bob does a final walk through and inspection.  He caught things we didn't even see!  A week after the paint job, I noticed a blotch of paint in the rocks and called Bob to find the best way to remove it.  He told me to leave it there and he came by the next day to remove the paint and clean the rocks.  AMAZING.

Within a few weeks, I began to see quite a bit of Bob and his son as they are painting my neighbors houses.  I guess that's the best recommendation that you can get.

The owner, Bob, was very pleasant to deal with and gave us a competitive price.  They  weren't able to start right away due to a large industrial job, but when they came they were there when they said they would be, and did the work quickly and well.  To rate five stars in my book, a crew has to leave the house almost as they started; there was less for us to clean up than I've seen from almost any other contractor I've hired.

Carlos, the head of the work crew, did a marvelous job and earned a large tip.  He had enough experience with houses that he could work as a handyman in addition to the fine work he did with painting.  As always, there were a few things that needed to be adjusted, and he did those quickly and efficiently.

They did a great job with the power washing before painting.   A lesson-learned for me is that when you have your house power washed: seal your doors and windows, as loose paint flakes will find their way behind the screens, and a tiny crack under the door may let water under it to swell the wood of the thresholds and adjacent floor.   Arizona's Best Painting did a great job of sealing around the outside, but we should have added some additional sealing from the inside as well because of the tremendous pressure of the water.

I would hire this crew again any time, and enthusiastically recommend  Bob and Carlos' team to others.

I had purchased a new home and employed another painter. They took 10 days for 2100 square feet, 5 days over the original estimate. So, I decided to look around for a new painter to paint the home we were moving out of. I found Arizona Best Painting. Bob, the owner, was exceptionally helpful, accomodating, committed to following through on getting the work done on time and he met the other painters price. For an approximately, 1100 square feet home, it was completed 9 hours including all the doors. And, they cleaned up before they left.

Arizona's Best Family Painting just finished painting the entire interior of our home, garage and pool fence.  From the very start they were wonderful to work with and very professional.  I received a call within minutes of submitting an online request to be contacted for an estimate.  They were able to come out right away to provide a reasonable estimate.  We got an estimate from a smaller company that was $200 dollars more and did not include the pool fence.  This employee from the smaller company was no where near as professional as Robert from Arizona's Best Family Painting.  The contact that was provided from Arizona's Best Family Painting was thorough and explained all the details of everything that was to be done.  We were able to schedule the painting to be done based on our preference.  I received a call the night before the painting was to start to confirm all the final details.  The painters were there on time.  They were very meticulous with covering everything and protecting our flooring, furniture and belongings.  They completed the project within 2 days as promised.  Everything looked beautiful.  We did not find one area or concern that needed to be fixed.  Everything was cleaned up nicely.  Robert came out for a final walk through to make sure we were satisfied with their work.  We are extremely satisfied with the work that was done and would highly recommend Arizona's Best Family Painting.  We are putting our current house up for sale and plan to purchase another home soon.  We will definitely be using them again if our new home needs painted or for any other painting needs in the future.  Thank you Robert, your crew and Arizona's Best Family Painting!

I contacted Bob, the owner, who did deal w/me personally all the time.  He did a great job and I even got the $100 YELP discount.  The painters were on time, taped and cleaned up well and the job was done in a timely manner.  The bid was competitive and made the job of choosing easier because YELP had such good reviews.  Thanks Bob and i'm glad you also picked up a couple of referrals from just being in the area. I am very impressed with the work and communication with Bob and his company. I called Bob for a quote to paint my deceased father's condo. Initailly I was just looking for the cheapest single color so i could sell the condo in probate. Bob quoted me a very good single color price and also gave a two tone color quote for just a few hundred dollars more. I returned home to California and let Bob and his crew do the two tone paint when I wasn't in town. I returned to the condo to find one of the best paint jobs i have seen. The edge work on the trim areas was perfect. I also told Bob about the broken door frame and his crew repaired the frame before painting it.

Unlike some of the other reviews, I can only complement Bob's crew for getting the entire  interior (ceilings, walls, doors, baseboards)  of my recently purchased 2700 sq. foot house painted before the moving van arrived.  Bob had his crew completed the job in 2 days working on a Saturday and Sunday. Carlos and Andrew did the final touch up and clean up to my satisfaction. They all did excellent work .  We are very pleased.  The price was consistent with other quotes, but no one could get the job done in the time frame we needed.  When I need the exterior of my house painted, I will call Bob again.

Bob came in to estimate stucco paint job for my house. I did my research online and also compared prices with my neighbors. He gave me the best price. It was even $700 less than my next door whose house is about the same size and had just done his painted a few weeks before me.
On the day of scheduled job, three guys showed up in the morning on time, very courteous. They took time to prep the house. The day before painting, wall was washed. All screens were removed and windows were covered. All unwanted nails were removed. They spend 1.5 days to perfect painting the house. My house never looked so pretty. I have nothing negative things to say. The whole experience with them was very easy without hassle or stress. Because of my schedule conflicts and all, it took me 1 month to schedule but communicating with Bob was also easy. I really appreciated his work and I'm happy with the service that I received. Robert and his team did a great job painting the interior and exterior of my rental house in Glendale AZ. They were quick and prompt and efficient. They scheduled the job within a week of my calling and scheduled an estimate within 24-48h of my initial call. The price was fair and the house looks great.

I cannot say enough about Robert and the 2 gentlemen in his crew.  I asked Robert to come over to give me a quote for a 1500 square foot interior house project.  He came over that day and was professional, friendly and expedient.  The quote was the best price I have ever gotten on painting the entire interior of a house.  Robert was able to schedule the project for the following week.  He and the crew did an amazingly beautiful job.  It looks like a brand new house.  Robert even went the extra mile between contracting the job and completing it, when I called and asked if he could stop by to help with color and carpet ideas.  He came over and it turns out that not only is he a great painter - but ended up being an interior designer for me!  He is really talented with his ideas about colors and accents. The house looks just stunning.  The work itself was precise, beautiful and flawless.  They finished in a day and a half.  Amazing.  I will definitely call on Robert and his crew for any future painting needs.  He really cared about helping me create exactly what I wanted.  This could not have been an easier, more pleasant, painless project.  This is clearly due to the standard of excellence in which Robert runs his business.

I'm an out out state resident who owns a property in South Phoenix that needed painting and stucco repair.  I chose Arizona Best Painting based on the yelp reviews and was not disappointed to say the least.   Bob, the owner, was very professional and had his crew there in no time. The quality of work was excellent and at a very fair price.  He even worked with me on a three part payment plan!  I would recommend Bob and his crew to anyone looking to paint their house.  Especially those who may live out of state and need that extra level of trust.

I had two estimates that were similar in price, (Bob was a little bit lower) but the initial reason I went with Bob  is because when he came out, besides being nice and very comfortable to work with, he was very professional and it was evident that he knew his business. He brought out a color chart and had suggestions that helped me a great deal with picking the correct colors and the other company did not do that at all. And am I glad I went with Arizona's Best, they truly are the BEST!   The entire job is flawless and so sharp & clean. His workers were great as well, they all come dressed in whites and know what they are doing as well. The clean up was done perfectly too. After it was all done I decided I didn't like the fence color that I picked and Bob said he'd redo it another color, for his cost, because he just wanted me to be happy, regardless whether it was his fault, which it was not.  If that's not going above and beyond, I don't know what is. When we need more painting done, I wouldn't even get another estimate, I'd just call Bob, I trust him that much. Do not hesitate to use this company, you will love them and the work they do!

Bob, Scott and their crew were wonderful!  Their quote was extremely reasonable for painting the interior of my home.  The crew was on time, explained in detail the steps they they would be taking in completing the job,  very courteous, and cleaned up thoroughly after the job was done.  They did an awesome job!!   I found nothing to complain about on the final walk through - only compliments on a job well done!!  Looking forward for them to paint the exterior of my house.

We had a rental apartment painted by this company a few months ago-I would have to say --Everything was GREAT from start to finish. They were very professional, neat ,ontime and more. Bob said what he would do,and he did it. I would certainly use Arizona Best Painting again in a minute.  Oh,- I almost forgot ,I thought the price was very reasonable.  Great painting company.  Thank you Bob!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bob the owner came right over and his crew were there within a day (aside from a rain day).  Price was fair, job was very thorough and professional, we had some bubbling stucco under the paint, and they repaired the stucco like new, matched the paint, did the garage doors, which were very faded, now they look like new!  I have used many painters and these guys were the very best, hardworking polite, spent a lot of time very professionally prepping each area.  I'm pretty fussy and I could not be more impressed with the job they did.  Don't call anyone but them if you need your house painted.    Nancy in Scottsdale
