We have owned a number of homes over the years and have at one time or another utilized professional painting services. Sometimes the results were less than we had hoped for. On occasion, we have encountered (now laughable) disastrous results. We also have had the good fortune and privilege to find true paint professionals. Scott Bradshaw and his crew were given the difficult project of painting multiple rooms in our new (older) Spanish style home, sanding to bare wood multiple redwood and pine ceiling beams in multiple rooms followed by custom staining, repainting interior doors and baseboards, front iron door, and mailbox. The results were--Spectacular. Scott kept us up to date with pictures and information throughout the project (as we were out of the house for the work). I promise that the job will be done right and you will be more than satisfied with your project results, if you are lucky enough to have Scott Bradshaw and Paint My Place working with you.

They painted my house and garage at a very respectable cost. Very happy with their work! I just bought a house that had a bad exterior paint job. Paint peeling with exposed wood and cracked in places. They did great prep work, used good quality primer/paint and did a great job. Jim was very nice to talk with and listened to all my concerns.

This company had quite a daunting job in our home rehab project. They came in, taped and textured our entire interior. They were timely and respectful of both us and our home. I would recommend them for any of your painting or wall projects!

If I could give Todd and his team 6 stars I would. They were very responsive to my online inquiry, reasonably priced, and the end product is stunning our neighbors all asked who we used and even our realtor was so impressed she plans to make him her go to painter (shout out to the wisemoveaz.com team). We purchased a home in Anthem which the previous owner failed to disclose the HOA had warned and fined him for failure to pain the outside. We needed a good painter and fast. Todd and his team handled and expedited the HOA approval process for me. His team was punctual and respectful to my wife and two small children as they efficiently and diligently worked. The process of prepping and painting my house was not intrusive. They only use high quality paints and the end product shows (see photos). Todd was honest in our dealings and true to his word. Thank you Todd!!!!

I hired Matt with A New Leaf Painting to paint the exterior of my house. My daughter had used him a few years ago to paint the exterior of her house and she was happy with his work and how he was very professional. The house Matt painted for me I had purchased with the exterior looking pretty worn out and rough. The fascia was very dry with the paint peeling off and some wood lifting up. The main area looked faded and worn. I asked Matt to do some repairs to the different areas of wood and caulking as well as a good power wash prior to painting. Matt was very patient and diligent with getting all the prep work done. He also painted the house using semi- gloss paint which is much more time consuming and difficult to apply than eggshell or flat paint. Some painters will be sneaky and water down the semi-gloss with water. That breaks down the integrity of the paint. You can tell that Matt is upstanding and used good quality paint. The wood sucked up so much of the paint due to being so dry and needing a paint job since long before I ever bought the house. Matt applies enough coats of paint until there was finally a coat that stuck in the outside of the wood. It took Matt more days than he originally estimated, but he stuck with the job until he completed it. (Note: other people have pushed getting jobs for me done by starting and then giving me time here and there between other jobs.). Once Matt starts a job, he sticks with it until he is done. He moves his tools to the side and leaves his work areas neat at the end of the day. He cleaned up very well behind himself. The house looks great now. Matt gave me a great price for the work he did and I believe it could be easily a thousand below what other paint companies might have charged me. Matt did a wonderful job. I am so happy with his work. I will use him again. I highly recommend Matt with A New Lead Painting.

Chris and his crew did a great job! Very professional. When I got that letter from the HOA I reached out to Top Cut Painting. This company was highly recommend to me and now I'm recommending it to you! I work out of town and Chris was able to locate the colors that would be approved for my HOA, explain some HOA stuff I don't know and repair horrible looking cracks and chips from my common wall. Looks amazing! I should have hired them sooner! In addition to completing the exterior paint and common wall, they also fix my patio roof that sustained some damage after the heavy rains.

A&A Painting is the best painting company i have ever seen. John, the owner, is a fantastic person and his rates are great. His company painted both the exterior and interior of my house in Scottsdale and it looks great. They do exceptional work and even do optional items as long as they are comfortable doing it. An example is they installed new handles on all my interior doors along with door stoppers on the hinges to keep the doors from hitting the walls. Additionally they installed handicap bars in my bathrooms and a towel rack. If your in need of getting estimates for painting you should definitely call John.

We just has these guys complete their second project for us. The first was the repainting of a few rooms and most of the cabinets in our house. They did a fantastic job. The most recent project was the repainting of a custom curved stair case. A very detailed job. Again their work was top notch. They are professional, reliable, and really nice people. George and his guys are just great and I can't recommend them enough.

From my experience, I would advise you to save your time, energy and money and go with some other company.
In my opinion- There were so many things that went wrong with this job that I can't list them all. I will list the main issues:
We hired them to paint our 1300 square-foot house (just one color) and to do laminate flooring throughout the whole house. We were quoted that the painting would take one week. We were quoted that the flooring would take one week; we did add replacing the baseboards but that would still not take 4 weeks.
After 4 weeks, I had to end the job. All of our personal belongings had been in the garage for those four weeks as we waited for the job to be completed - unable to move into our house and move on with our life. We were also waiting to purchase our appliances until the floor was done, so we had no way to prepare food - so we ate out at restaurants for four weeks as we waited for the house to get done. Talk about a huge extra cost. The other major issue was that I was due to go back to work, remotely - they knew that deadline was a drop dead date and still didn't complete the job on time.
There was so much overspray on the entire house that we will be cleaning it up for years to come - including our skylights, front door, every single window and various sconces, light bulbs, light switches, electric outlets and our thermostat.
When they tried to fix some of the painting errors, they actually dropped more paint onto the brand new floor that they just installed.
The workers never showed up on time and would work a few hours then leave for a few hours then come back for like one or two more hours then call it a day and leave again. There were only three days in four weeks that we had a 'full' team working on the house - for the whole day.
One of the workers was amazing and we really liked him. In my opinion, he is the one shining star in this entire four week nightmare. He did most of the work, had attention to detail and was courteous and compassionate.
In my opinion, the rest of the team needs much more training, not only on how to do their jobs better but also attention to detail, paying attention in general, cleaning up after themselves, and the very simple meaning of integrity.
When I tried to tell the owner of all the issues we had he actually had the audacity to argue with me. He was not here each day to see the lack of labor - me and my husband were. At one point I sent him a text asking if anyone was going to show up and work since it was already 10:30 am on a Tuesday. He didn't respond to me.
There were parts of the job that never got completed. As soon as they picked up their last check - they told us they'd be back to fix what they hadn't finished... it's been 6 months and no one has fixed anything and they won't.
In my experience- this company ripped us off. The damage they did to the floor, as they installed it, is not repairable- so now we need to replace the entire floor, for the massive mistakes they made.
The painting was mediocre at best, but all the work my husband and I have had to do to clean the mess they made, has been very frustrating. The real awful thing about all this is that we are going to have to replace our whole floor.

The spots of paint were NOT removed, especially in the kitchen. The pictures I took were within the last month.
No one knew about the mold (or else we would have told you) and that was actually one thing you guys did fix really well.
We didn't ADD plumbing- we asked your guys to fix broken valves. Which was done.
The person you allege that we 'pulled for landscaping' - OFFERED TO help chop down ONE STUMP, which is NOT LANDSCAPING. And took all of 10 minutes...
Nobody told us that any one on your team had COVID. Your staff just didn't showed up.xx
I did not mention previously that you turned the water OFF OVERNIGHT AND NEVER TOLD US - leaving us and our animals without water all night and part of the next day - in JUNE.
You took down all our blinds to paint and never re-installed them
Your team disconnected all our security contacts off the windows and never reinstalled them. Then completely covered our motion sensor in our living room with paint, rendering our security system worthless.
The reason I waited this long to say anything is so that I could calm down - I have been very upset. And you were well aware of how upset I was with things. I didn't want to write a review from a place of anger, I just wanted to state facts and my experience.
Your history of lack of responding/communicating or taking any responsibility during the job, left me feeling like you completely didn't care. When a contractor cares, it shows in their honesty, integrity, caring about the job and quality of the work. Actions always speak louder than words.

This is additional information regarding our review of SkillSet dated 7/28/2019. Please do your research about this company. Their recent rebuttal to our review is false. They were fined $500 by the ROC for poor workmanship and incomplete work. That's the maximum amount they can be fined by the ROC. However, the ruling provided us with up to $30,000 to remediate the issues. That money comes out of the recovery fund. The project manager at SkillSet is not a manager at all. She never visited the job site once. Her bookkeeping was a joke and she was very nasty when we raised any concerns. This is the company that had to remove all the travertine tile they put up because it was installed incorrectly. The water proof backing was missing and the shower drain was also installed incorrectly. These are not just cosmetic issues, it speaks to the infrastructure of the work, things we cannot see, etc.
Attached is a section reflecting the ROC findings.
It's not worth the problems. Don't be fooled by price.

Jose deserves ZERO stars because he is not an honest man. He gave me a quote and asked for half down to buy materials and never came back. He still has not returned the deposit and won't answer his phone. Karma Jose!!
