My job included tear-out of an existing 14' x 30' deck (20' of which was covered), removal of a VERY large ash tree (about 35' tall and about 25' in diameter) with some large limbs that hung over my brand new roof and patio cover), removal of 15 smaller oleander trees (ranging from 9' to 13' tall) along with removal of a 12' tall Sissoo tree, and grinding the stumps of all 17 trees that were being removed.

Serious Landscaping's owner, Dalton, arrived on time to view the jobsite and got me his price quote when he said he would. Throughout our interaction, he did what he said he'd do when he said he'd do it;  in the rare case he was running a bit behind on responding to an inquiry (during the time I was still asking questions and interviewing prospective landscapers), he would text or e-mail me to let me know when he could provide me with a full response--and then, he did get me the information I needed when he said he would.

Serious Landscaping is ROC licensed and insured. I was extremely pleased with the price quote I got, and Dalton sent me a copy of his certificate of insurance (which I told him I would need before hiring his company).

Each of Dalton's work crew members was very friendly, courteous, careful and professional. They worked extremely hard in the hot Arizona sun and took great care to ensure none of the large tree branches landed where they shouldn't (on my new roof!). I had no concerns about having the Serious Landscaping crew in my back yard for the three days it took to complete the work and they did an excellent job of cleanup when the project was finished.  

During the project, I asked Dalton if we could add to the job--I also needed two other large trees to be trimmed since they were hanging over the side fence into my neighbor's yard. He gave me a great price on doing that additional work as well.

The entire job took three days--as estimated. On the third day, I had to leave to go in to my office on the other side of town, so I left a check for the job with my wife and asked her to give it to Dalton when the work was completely finished. Dalton and his crew had some questions about the add-on trim job and because I was gone and my wife wasn't exactly sure what I wanted, Dalton offered to return the next day (when I'd be home) to finish the trimming. She did give Dalton the check for the full amount of the job, trusting that he'd keep his word and come back the following day--which is exactly what he did, even though he'd already been paid. We chatted about the additional trimming and

Dalton used his extensive arborist knowledge to recommend which branches to cut and which ones to leave. Dalton and one of his crew members spent about two hours back at my house AFTER having been paid because they wanted to make sure I was happy with the work!

Honest, quality-focused, service-oriented contractors (landscape or otherwise) are hard to find these days, and I've written many negative online reviews commenting on the general flakiness of the contractor industry in 2022. Serious Landscaping is a shining exception to the general arrogance and customers-need-me-more-than-I-need-them attitude demonstrated by a lot of their competitors. I strongly recommend you give them a try!

Gave a VERY competitive quote and agreed to come back at 9 a.m. on Saturday to prune the palm trees. He never showed up.

Danny was very quick to respond and was the best price by far for trimming 2 palm trees. He was done in about 45 minutes and did a great job.

Disappointed! I really wanted to give a good review since they did a great job of removing two trees after a storm the night before.  I wanted them to come back out and do some more work and after having a conversation with Rob, he said needed to come back to look at my trees which I didn't understand why because this would have been his third time back out to my home.  They scheduled a time that did not work for me and didn't bother to coordinate with my time so I called him directly to tell him that time will not work.  He said he would call me back to schedule another time and I never heard back and never got a call back from the office.  Very disappointed.

I called to have a stump removed and needed it done pronto.  They came out within 2 days and quickly removed it.  I used to use ultimate tree service but their response time has been terrible.  I will be using Jason's for my twice yearly tee trimming.  Thanks for showing up and getting th job done.

Saw a we do it all phone number from an ad in our West Valley Views paper.  Rob answered the phone,   came out and gave a very reasonable bid.   About a week later ( we were not in an immediate hurry, so no time line required from us ) their crew showed up with chainsaw and chipper.   Did a nice job  removing 2 orange trees and cleaning up their mess.   There was a little confusion on other work that needed to be done.   Rob came back out,   assured me that EVERYTHING would be done to my complete satisfaction.   Boy was he right !!!   Two other crews came over the next two days and did EVERYTHING to my complete satisfaction!!   A company that keeps  it's  word!!!  Very refreshing !!!    Will definitely use them again,  and refer them to friends and family.

Excellent service and excellent technician.  While the appointment was a little late, it is my understanding that the attention to detail they have to complete a customers request can keep them on a job a little longer than expexted.  Which in my opinion is worth more than just showing up on time.  I originally called another company for sprinkler system repair, they wanted $1600 to replace the entire system.  Jason's charged $280 when all was said and done and the system is working perfectly and timed.  I just got a new home and I will be a repeat customer when I get moved in.  Even the office manager was friendly and polite.

I finally received a phone call today. However,  I decided to go with the other company. I'm only updating my review because I thought I did receive a phone call however a little too late.

Just a note: they parked in my driveway & ON my landscaping. When my friend asked them nicely to move their truck, the boss came over & gave him a hard time about moving the truck. He was very rude to my friend & when he was told that they'd be responsible for any damage caused, the boss' response was, Like Hell I will. Then he walked away. Not very kind or considerate of the neighbors around their jobs.

I found Pablo on Yelp and what the other reviews say is true! He does great work and is reasonably priced, on time, responsive, etc. We had a palm tree that needed trimming, a dead cactus that needed to be removed, and dead vines growing up the back of our two story town home that needed to be taken down. Pablo handled it all! I communicated with him via text message and sent pictures of what I needed done and he was able to quote me the estimate from that. We will definitely be using him in the future.

Pablo does great work. Have been using him for 2 years on and off when my monster tree needs to be trimed up .. very professional and always does a great job.. His price is very fair and worth the money. He is a one man wrecking crew when it comes to landscaping.. thanks pablo. .

Had a queen palm removed and trees trimmed general cleanup job was done fast and better then I expected. They did a very professional job and respond to my text right away even after 7pm at night. His prices aren't the cheapest I have seen but not the highest either they did better then what we agreed to.

Pros:  Quick response, very polite.  Cons:  I feel like he saw nice cars in my driveway and decided to try to get a lot more money than the job could possibly be worth.  The quote was for one large tree removal WITHOUT the stump.  He quoted $1800!!  I've had 4 other quotes and NONE of them were even close to that.  The other highest quote was at 1200.  It felt so wrong, so I feel it necessary to leave this review.

Pablo and his crew removed three overgrown focus tress that were planted too close to our house. He was courteous, respectful and completed the work well. A sprinkler line was broken during tree removal. I called Pablo to come take a look the next day & he came early to diagnose the problem & fix the sprinkler. I will continue to use Pablo's tree trimming and landscaping services. Excellent work!

Placing business cards on everybody's door is allowing crooked people to see that nobody's home after their cards are there for a long period of time.  Send your ads in the mail like the other business owners.
