I had four palm trees and another tree that needed to be trimmed,  all were out of control.  I contacted Hayward to come give me an estimate.  They gave me what was a good price and I went ahead and scheduled the service.  We agreed to a day for them to come prune the trees and I went ahead and took the day off from work so I could be home to let them in the back yard and pay them.  They assured me they would be there between 11-1.  At 10:20 I got a phone call from the company telling me they were cancelling because they allegedly got in to an auto accident that morning.  I subsequently contacted another company who arrived on time, quoted me a better price, and did not make me waste a vacation day waiting for them to never show up.

Stay away from this one.  It cost me a vacation day at my job and to be honest several things in their story don't add up.  So many other reputable companies, go with one of them instead.

Gerson did a great job tearing out our old drip lines and installing new lines and new valves for both our front and backyard. He provided a warranty for his work as well.

He provided a fair price, was professional, timely and we will definitely call him again for future landscaping needs.

Very responsive, professional and reasonably priced.  Came when they said they would.  Did excellent and efficient work and left the area as nice or nicer than when they arrived.  Juan, his staff and crew are very professional in all they do.

Ryan and his team are responsive and listen to what the customer wants. Always willing to go the extra mile. Ryan is very knowledgeable with regard to plants, trees, lawn care and all things landscaping. Been with them for 5 + years and happy!

We had a great experience from start to finish with Essence AZ.  They were extremely responsive with the quoting process, very relatable and professional. We initially chose a different moving plan but when those plans blew up, Essence managed to get us a crew and a truck within hours and saved the day!

I hired them to do some soil injections, trim some trees, and provide some fertilizer. They trimmed the trees fine but left before doing the rest (I have cameras in the front and back yard).

I called and they explained that the tech got had to leave but they'd come back the next day. The tech came, dropped off the product and left. When I called to ask about the injections, they told me the tech didn't realize he had more to do and he would come back. It sure started to seem like the $1000 soil injections were just a sham service.

Lastly, it happened another time. Tech came for 5 minutes and left. Emailed the company and called multiple times. Said a supervisor would come out, but then stopped responding. Wouldn't recommend.

Friendly staff, fast response, fair pricing. Scheduling was convenient and easy, crew showed up right on time, and the quality of work was just right. Will definitely use Tree Pros in the future -- and recommend them to anyone who needs a palm tree cleaned up.

Ryan was extremely responsive to my ask for 12 tons of rock to be spread in my back yard. He suggested also digging out and resetting the rivers (the drainage channels of large river rock) which was a great suggestion as they now look great.

We agreed price and a target timescale a few weeks out and he stuck to it. Ryan arranged the rock drop location with the rock company so I had nothing to do there and his guys showed up on schedule to take care of the spreading.

Great experience working with Gerson and his team! We had them replace our entire irrigation system in our front and back yards, and plant several new plants while they did the install. Gerson replied to my request for an estimate immediately, came out to provide the quote within a day, and started the work the next week! He was very reasonably priced, and very quick to communicate via text and email with questions. When I decided to add some plantings as part of the project, Gerson was extremely responsive and picked my plants up from the garden center for me that same day so they'd be ready for the installation the next day. They did an awesome job with the install, and left everything looking and working great! I will definitely be using him again.

So far, so good.

I called Lucas on a weekend for a quote. They called me back right away and scheduled me for Monday. On Monday they arrived on time with an employee who was knowledgeable and thorough, we walked the property and I had the quote within a few hours. Ryan Lucas was personable and helpful on the phone and assured me all his employees speak fluent English.

The price was very reasonable, they were less expensive than some other companies by more than $100. I hired them to do a cleanup and trim my 6 queen palms. They came out as scheduled and did a great job trimming and cleaning the front and back yards, so I hired them for tree removal as well, scheduled in a few days.

Update: The tree removal went well. But I discovered later that they had broken the glass in one of my yard lights. On a recent cleanup, the crew severed a string of Christmas lights I had on a ficus, and severed 2 hose lines to the sprinkler system. Cheap repairs but annoying :/

Very professional, Walt was very knowledgeable about trees and willing to share.  Hired to remove a large mesquite limb that was damaged and about to damage our fence.  Also, had them trim our other trees.  The scheduler was willing to work with me to get our appointment ahead of schedule per my request.  All at a reasonable price.  The work was done exactly as Walt and I discussed.

I have called Trees for Needs on several occasions to help trim my very very tall palm trees to remove two huge 25 year old bottle trees and to help thin out a huge tree I have.

I have also called on Carl the owner for recommendation for trees around our pool area and to help with trees that look like they're dying. They are extremely knowledgeable and helpful!

I can't be happier with the service and prices of Hummingbird Tree Care. Johnny and his team came out the next day on short notice for a VERY difficult and VERY dangerous job of removing a saguaro that fell on my roof. They were very careful and very safe, and did a fantastic job! This was NOT an easy job and other companies didn't want to do it, but they came through with flying colors. I'm very grateful!! Highly recommend!!

Geronimo was awesome, he and his crew did a great job on a small paver and turf project. He is very professional and takes pride in his work.

Gave me a fair estimate and scheduled sevice two days later. Again showed up right on time. Very kind and professional, worked quickly and got the job done.

This is my first time hiring a landscaping Company, and I'm very appreciative that it was so easy with Geronimo, especially as so many other Companies are not quick to respond to requests to quote and/or do not show up on time.

A guy from another company worked on my palm trees, but left me with all the plant trimmings. I was very disappointed.

So I reached out on yelp for bids, and Roman was the first of three to respond. His team came and cleaned up all the palm tree trimmings, and they also finished trimming the trees that the other company didn't do.

I could tell they were a good company because after picking up all the fronds they swept up all the dust left behind, and didn't leave it for the customer to do. Kudos to them.

The team was responsive and did exactly what we discussed. We will be calling them again for our future landscaping plans.

North Phoenix, AZ - Trees for Needs is one of the few highly professional businesses we have dealt with in the Valley. Kerry and Kory were very professional and communication was excellent throughout the process of removing one of our tall white pines. Andy provided the initial details of the process, including the company's insurance information so we were at ease about coverage if something went wrong. Nothing did, as their crew has a totally safety conscience work ethnic and took all the necessary precautions to protect the home owner's property as well as their professional crew. After the tree was removed, the stump was ground down to our satisfaction. They checked in with us so we knew what was going to happen and after, triple checked to see that we were totally happy with the results.
