Once again, mislead by Yelp reviewers, I selected Hayward after receiving three bids.  Hayward was the middle bid for removal of three trees.
They were just OK.  They did what they quoted and they did it fast.  They broke a couple of pavers and their clean up was sub par.  
My mistake for trusting glowing reviews on Yelp.

Gerson was amazing, he came out quick, fixed my sprinkler problem and was very reasonable. He was also very polite unlike most companies. He's the best landscaper I have worked with so far

I put out a request for a quote through yelp yelp automatically selected several landscapers to quote the job.
This company replied by message through Yelp and set up a time for a phone consult. How they can do a phone consultation when they really need to see the yard and the scope of the work I have no clue?
They never called for the phone consult.  Several hours after the time they were supposed to call A gentleman called and wanted to set an appointment for the next day between six and eight in the morning.
I told him I would not wake up until 8:30 so he said I'll be there between 8-9. He obviously didn't hear me when I said I don't get up until 830 which tells me that he doesn't listen to his clients.
But I agreed to the appointment time of between 8-9 o'clock. I got up early and waited and waited and waited they did not bother to call to say that they needed to cancel or reschedule.
In the afternoon I messaged them through Yelp telling them that they missed two appointments.
Within a few minutes they called wanting to come over right then explaining that they slept in. I would've liked to have slept in too. So that showed me that they're inconsiderate of their clients And that they're unreliable.
So the reason I'm giving this rating is
1.  they don't listen to their client
2.  they don't show up when they say they're going to
3.  they're inconsiderate of their clients time.
4. They are unreliable
I believe this is a brand new business and they obviously won't be in business long with these types of practices. I don't think they realize that if you can't make it on time to your appointments or at least called before you're going to be late that It shows that you're unreliable
Hiw can I trust that they would show up on time to actually perform the work when they dont when trying to get the job.
I can't and I don't have time to play around with people that really don't want the business

Ryan and his crew were amazing. He came out next day after initial contact to get measurments and a quote same day. They installed a paver driveway extension up to my RV gate. It went super smooth and all though it was 110 + degrees they were able to start and complete the job in 2 days! I highly recommend if you are looking for quality work here in Arizona.

Alicia contacted me immediately and was at my home cleaning my yard within 24 hours.  The backyard was filled with weeds and were hand pulled within two hours.  Very pleased with the process from start to finish.  Will definitely use this service again!

I hired them to do some soil injections, trim some trees, and provide some fertilizer. They trimmed the trees fine but left before doing the rest (I have cameras in the front and back yard).

I called and they explained that the tech got had to leave but they'd come back the next day. The tech came, dropped off the product and left. When I called to ask about the injections, they told me the tech didn't realize he had more to do and he would come back. It sure started to seem like the $1000 soil injections were just a sham service.

Lastly, it happened another time. Tech came for 5 minutes and left. Emailed the company and called multiple times. Said a supervisor would come out, but then stopped responding. Wouldn't recommend.

Friendly staff, fast response, fair pricing. Scheduling was convenient and easy, crew showed up right on time, and the quality of work was just right. Will definitely use Tree Pros in the future -- and recommend them to anyone who needs a palm tree cleaned up.

Ryan was extremely responsive to my ask for 12 tons of rock to be spread in my back yard. He suggested also digging out and resetting the rivers (the drainage channels of large river rock) which was a great suggestion as they now look great.

We agreed price and a target timescale a few weeks out and he stuck to it. Ryan arranged the rock drop location with the rock company so I had nothing to do there and his guys showed up on schedule to take care of the spreading.

I used this company twice. The first time the staff broke a lantern in my yard and I watched until the staff fixed the lantern.  I'm not an unreasonable person, I understand a giant tree coming down may cause some minor issues.  I used this company again to remove two more trees, this time I was not home.  BIG MISTAKE. I was shocked to come home to 2 broken lanterns, my garden uprooted, and multiple things in my garden broken.  Again, I'm not unreasonable things happen, but when I noticed a broken lantern was moved further away from the tree so I didn't notice and another lantern planted upright in my flower pot so it did not appear broken at first glance, I immediately called tree pros and complained about the damage. In addition, objects on my grill were thrown onto the ground, and objects in my garden that are broken carelessly thrown around my yard. I was furious about the lack of respect for my belongings and the purposeful deceitful behavior of attempting to hide the damage.  The staff did not take the time to move things out of the way so they did not break, but after they were broken took the time to try and hide it.  I spoke with Yersenia who was very nice and reassured me we would be reimbursed for the broken items.  I requested a refund as I should not pay full price for such poor service.  My request was ignored twice.  Please do not make the same mistake I did!

I learned about Lucas Lawn Care on super pages and I took a gamble on them since there are TONS of lawn care companies out there.  I was very very impressed by how attentive Ryan was to my inquiry and how quickly he was able to get me an estimate.  I was also very impressed with how he conducts his business.  This was all before they even came out to do any work.
Yesterday his crew came out and did an initial clean up.  I was super impressed with the work that they did.  They did a great job cleaning up my palms and just how they worked the yard.  They fertalized, took care of my watering schedule, and were very quick.  I couldnt be more impressed.  They are now going to take care of the yard 2 times a month.  Great job Ryan!

Broke my landscape lighting tried to prop it up like nothing happened and did not tell me.  Left 15-20 cigarette butts in my yard.  Hard pass.

I would highly recommend Trees For Needs for all your tree services. Carl really knows his business and taught me a few things about my trees. The office staff was very professional and called me just like I was told they would. They confirmed the time and their men were at my house promptly. It was cold and still dark outside when they arrived but it didn't slow them down in the least. They asked for my approval a couple of times during the job and when they were finished. I'm sure if I wasn't completely satisfied, they would've kept working until I was. All of Carl's team were professional, courteous and hard working. I am confident that I will continue to use Trees For Needs for my future service needs.

These people did exactly what they said they would do.  I contracted to have two palm trees removed.  Johnny contacted me with a bid that was very competitive to others I had received.  He and his crew showed up when they said they would, worked very professionally, and completed the job in about three hours.  They hauled away all of the trash from the job, including all of the trees.  They also ground the stumps to several inches below the ground level.  They were considerate of me and my neighbors and were careful to have their COVID masks on anytime they needed to talk with me.  I highly recommend this company.

Geronimo was awesome, he and his crew did a great job on a small paver and turf project. He is very professional and takes pride in his work.

Gave me a fair estimate and scheduled sevice two days later. Again showed up right on time. Very kind and professional, worked quickly and got the job done.

This is my first time hiring a landscaping Company, and I'm very appreciative that it was so easy with Geronimo, especially as so many other Companies are not quick to respond to requests to quote and/or do not show up on time.

For the past year I have had a dirt back yard due to some construction. I got the all clear and was finally able to start my landscaping. I reached out and got a few quotes over yelp and a lot of denials due to my location, Maricopa.

1. The owner George was very responsive and always kept me up to date.
2. We talked over the phone and he came out. He measured everything, asked questions, and helped me get out into words the design I wanted.
3. The only delay I faced was rain which is outside of his control and he was here the next day working.
4. His pricing was reasonable and did not make me wait weeks to start this project. From the day he came to give the quote, he was here the following week already working.

I am so appreciative for how quickly he began the project and finished it. As someone who has had a dirt back yard for a year and 4 dogs, it was stressful. He lifted all of that and made my yard something we can enjoy again. I 10/10 recommend him and his team to help you with your next project!

Littering my neighborhood with stupid flyers stuffed into front doors is not welcome.  I called and asked for someone come remove the unsolicited flyers.  I was transferred to someone else who said it would be easier to just throw it away.  When I said I'd report it as littering as they were blown about the neighborhood, he said I'd like to see how that goes for you.  That's a great way to earn business.

These flyers are unwanted, a total waste and create a more negative brand impressions than positive.

North Phoenix, AZ - Trees for Needs is one of the few highly professional businesses we have dealt with in the Valley. Kerry and Kory were very professional and communication was excellent throughout the process of removing one of our tall white pines. Andy provided the initial details of the process, including the company's insurance information so we were at ease about coverage if something went wrong. Nothing did, as their crew has a totally safety conscience work ethnic and took all the necessary precautions to protect the home owner's property as well as their professional crew. After the tree was removed, the stump was ground down to our satisfaction. They checked in with us so we knew what was going to happen and after, triple checked to see that we were totally happy with the results.

I would HIGHLY recommend Trees for Needs to anyone needing tree services.
