Hayward Tree Service was very professional in removing an unwanted palm tree and grinding two other stumps from my yard.  Scheduling over the phone with their office staff was easy.  The estimator showed up on time and his price was better than a competitor's quote I received for the same work.  The crew arrived on the morning they were scheduled.  All were friendly and worked diligently to complete the job in a couple of hours.  While cleaning up they even cleared my sidewalk of grass clippings that I had left there after mowing my lawn, a mess they didn't make.  My yard looks much better now that the stumps are gone and I'm happy that I don't have to mow around them anymore.  If you have trees or stumps that need to be removed I would recommend giving Hayward Tree Service a call.

Gearson and his guys are young but they are awesome at what they do have had them re-do my irrigation and remove trees excellent job on both and price is very competitive they want the job

I put out a request for a quote through yelp yelp automatically selected several landscapers to quote the job.
This company replied by message through Yelp and set up a time for a phone consult. How they can do a phone consultation when they really need to see the yard and the scope of the work I have no clue?
They never called for the phone consult.  Several hours after the time they were supposed to call A gentleman called and wanted to set an appointment for the next day between six and eight in the morning.
I told him I would not wake up until 8:30 so he said I'll be there between 8-9. He obviously didn't hear me when I said I don't get up until 830 which tells me that he doesn't listen to his clients.
But I agreed to the appointment time of between 8-9 o'clock. I got up early and waited and waited and waited they did not bother to call to say that they needed to cancel or reschedule.
In the afternoon I messaged them through Yelp telling them that they missed two appointments.
Within a few minutes they called wanting to come over right then explaining that they slept in. I would've liked to have slept in too. So that showed me that they're inconsiderate of their clients And that they're unreliable.
So the reason I'm giving this rating is
1.  they don't listen to their client
2.  they don't show up when they say they're going to
3.  they're inconsiderate of their clients time.
4. They are unreliable
I believe this is a brand new business and they obviously won't be in business long with these types of practices. I don't think they realize that if you can't make it on time to your appointments or at least called before you're going to be late that It shows that you're unreliable
Hiw can I trust that they would show up on time to actually perform the work when they dont when trying to get the job.
I can't and I don't have time to play around with people that really don't want the business

Lifelong professional landscapers and family-own/operated business that does amazing work.  I used Lucas Lawn to come out an fix a HORRIBLE install done by a different company 4 years ago. This was no small job as I am on an acre of land with 10,000 sq ft of grass.

I was going to rip the entire lawn, sprinklers and everything out.  But Ryan, the owner, came up with a much better solution that was less invasive and destructive and SAVED me a TON of money.  He not only fixed and updated the irrigation system, HE SAVED THE ENTIRE LAWN AS WELL!

They all wore company shirts, used professional equipment (including trucks and trailers) and kept the job site clean at all times.  They have many crews and at times multiple trucks showed up to knock out the work quickly.  

I 100% recommend Lucas Lawn for regular maintenance, installs, repairs or just to help out with head scratching issues.

Had to do a last minute, same day move and these guys were lifesavers. Arrived early, moved quickly and I was completely moved in an hour and a half. Price was fair as well for a guy living alone, half of what I was quoted by some other companies. Appreciate Alicia and Bryan working with me, and I really do think they deserve 5 stars. Nothing to complain about.

Schedule a quote that was competitive with others.  Put down a thousand dollar deposit then two days before our appointment they called increasing the quote by 1000.  They stated the alley was too small, even though they had to see it for the quote.  Sketchy stuff.

Friendly staff, fast response, fair pricing. Scheduling was convenient and easy, crew showed up right on time, and the quality of work was just right. Will definitely use Tree Pros in the future -- and recommend them to anyone who needs a palm tree cleaned up.

Ryan was extremely responsive to my ask for 12 tons of rock to be spread in my back yard. He suggested also digging out and resetting the rivers (the drainage channels of large river rock) which was a great suggestion as they now look great.

We agreed price and a target timescale a few weeks out and he stuck to it. Ryan arranged the rock drop location with the rock company so I had nothing to do there and his guys showed up on schedule to take care of the spreading.

I needed a couple of tress cleaned up and one needed to be straightened out or it would be running into the house. They got hit by the frost and looked deathly, so I was worried I needed them removed. Tree Pros came out as scheduled for their estimate and let me know the trees were just fine and only needed to be trimmed up and cabled.
I thought the cost was fair, $150 min charge, even though they were a little more than the next guy.
I got called the day before with the time they would show up and arrived right on time. Crew of three and they were polite and explained how to tighten the cables. I asked them if they could also clean up a couple of Pygmy date palms that I let overgrow and it wasn't a problem and didn't try to charge extra. I am sure it is because of the min rate and was within their allotted time for the job, but nonetheless they took care of it without question.
They cleaned up after themselves and even blew all the dead leaves in the back into a pile and removed them too. I was not expecting them to clean up other things than what they made of mess of, so that was nice.
I would use them again.

Ryan was more than professional and timely when a quote was requested for front yard Landscaping. He came out the next day which made it clear that his clients are important and a priority! His ideas were modern and relevant and were clearly from him listening to what I asked for or ideas I had! A+ for professionalism !!!

Highly recommend this company! Everyone was polite and professional. Eric, the owner, is very honest and straightforward. Had 2 palm trees that needed to be cut down but were in a precarious position, close to the walls in the yard. He laid out for me the risks associated with bringing both trees down. He was able to get both trees cut down quickly and efficiently with no damage to the walls or concrete walkway. Yard was totally cleaned up with no left over mess. Will definitely be calling him again for more tree work in the future.

We have used Trees for Needs for years and could not be happier.  The knowledge and care that Carl puts into his work is amazing.  Carl is a Botanist, not a landscaper, and can address problems you can't begin to imagine.  Every single encounter has been professional and on target.  His crew has saved our trees time and time again by proper trimming, correct watering amounts and speed and certain specialized fertilizers.  You get what you pay for, and we were tired of having to replace trees.  His prices are very competitive.  If you are clear about your concerns during evaluation by Carl, he then sends his crew on the appointed day and they do a wonderful, top notch job.  Too bad you don't have more stars!

We hired Geronimo to remove part of our back patio and pour a new larger patio.  They came and removed all the old cement and a tree stump.  They worked really hard the first day and we were impressed how well things looked.  Then we could not get them to come back the next two days and finish they job.  We had to pay half up front but Geronimo came back and gave us our money back for the work that was not complete.  We are very thankful that he was at least good enough to return the money.

Geronimo was awesome, he and his crew did a great job on a small paver and turf project. He is very professional and takes pride in his work.

Gave me a fair estimate and scheduled sevice two days later. Again showed up right on time. Very kind and professional, worked quickly and got the job done.

This is my first time hiring a landscaping Company, and I'm very appreciative that it was so easy with Geronimo, especially as so many other Companies are not quick to respond to requests to quote and/or do not show up on time.

My experience with Geronimo Pacheco Landscape mirrors those of the other reviewers. I would add that they trimmed and cleaned up some Firestick plants that are no fun and bulky with no complaints and at a reasonable price.

Please ignore the mess but I had to share: George from Astonishing Landscape & Design, LLC and his crew did AMAZING today. Truly exceeded my expectations on price, quality, and responsiveness.
If you're looking for someone to order and install pavers, George is your guy!

He responded quickly and gave me a good quote. However, he canceled twice and didn't show up to do the work.

I was referred to Lucas Lawn and I have to say it was the best referral I could have received.  They not only are SUPER honest but extremely professional.  Jourdan was prompt and did a very neat and detailed job taking care of my palm trees.  He even went out to his way to make sure my property was secured and safe before he left.  I look forward to utilizing their services throughout the year.  You get what you pay for!  If you want quality work from some guys that truly understand the needs of each tree, then you want to give Lucas Lawn and Yard Care a shot.  You will not be disappointed.

These guys are great if you just need a basic trimming or removal. If you need anything else they're largely useless as they seem incapable of following simple directions.

The first time we had them out they were trimming some trees and were supposed to remove a dead one. The trees looked nice but they forgot to remove the dead one. The next time we asked them to come give us an opinion on whether one of our trees was killed by bugs or by sunburn from overtrimming (by a different company). They gave is a quote to remove the tree and nothing else. The wind a couple days ago partially knocked over one of our trees so we had them out to give us a quote on how much it would cost to save the tree. This was communicated to the office as well as in person and yet we only received a quote for removal. We'll be finding a different company with people that actually listen.
