Medinas landscaping was a great find, they came by to give us a quote same day and came and did MAJOR work to revive our backyard. They are very knowledgeable about landscaping and palm tree maintenance. Daniel was phenomenal to work with and communicated his advice through the whole process. Could not recommend Medinas landscaping enough!!!! Thank you! Highly HIGHLY recommend!!!!

Geronimo and his crew were great. They responded to my job request very quickly. He came out next day and gave me a quote. The job was done the next day. 5 stars!

These guys are awesome! The company they run is so innovative and very eco friendly. I had some packaging foam that I never know what to do with and always hate just throwing it away to forever sit in a landfill. I found Eco Building Systems online through homeforfoam.com. I called ahead and they came out to help unload the foam. I had interactions with three different employees and all three were so very positive and I could tell they enjoy what they do. They take the foam and create high quality building materials out of it. They are not able to use all foam so be sure to call ahead of time to explain what you have and schedule a drop off. Thanks for what you do EBS!

I cannot say enough about the beautiful fireplace that Ben and his contractor created for us. He captured the Old World European look I was going for perfectly. Communication was great, and he was quick to respond with a very reasonable quote and did the work sooner and better than I could have ever imagined. I am so pleased, and would not hesitate to recommend this father and son family company for any stone or paving work that is needed.

Arturo and Carlos did an amazing job replenishing the rock in my front yard. They are both extremely responsive, highly prompt, and offer reasonable prices. I highly encourage anyone reading my review to use their services if you need any rock in Arizona!

I had Jim remove my Bermuda grass, old curbing, some old invasive plants as well as bringing in clean dirt to create some large, natural looking mounds in my front yard. He kept in place my flagstone walkway and several existing plants. I'm converting my front yard to xeriscape.
Jim listened to what I had planned for the space and catered the grading and removal based on my expectations and some. He took into consideration that I would eventually put down decomposed granite so removed soil at edges to ensure the gravel stayed in my yard. He knew exactly how much to remove
His use of his machinery is done with surgical precision so he's able to remove what needs to be removed without touching anything adjacent to the work area that needs to remain. He treated my mature Afghan pine with care and preserved my existing drip/bubbler line I wanted to retain.
I am so pleased with the results which exceeded my expectations. I will use Blue Horizon Excavating for all my future projects. Jim is just the best. He is responsive and provides recommendations to make your project a success. It also helps that he is very easy to talk to.
I know very little about converting a lawn to xeriscape, I'm a complete novice. Jim made the first step in the process easy; I can't recommend him enough.

I do not recommend Damian and would not use him again. Damian showed up for an initial meeting and did get me an estimate in a timely manner which I found encouraging. (Thus 2 stars not 1).
Damian claimed he had built a cinder driveway I saw a photo of on HS website on Yelp but I believe it was the company he worked for before going on his own. I was trying to get our new place in Vernon shaped up from Phoenix so I had some urgency and thought I'd give a new business owner a chance. I expected he would put some thought into the project and have a plan to build up the driveway since he was just getting started.
Instead I got a barge load of 2,3 and 4 inch cinders dropped and Damian's skid steer operator (his father) raced around frantically for hours spreading cinders. Damian didn't even stay around to supervise but instead left right after introducing me to his father, so we had to figure out what to do ourselves which should have been his job. There was so much cinder that we kept having to expand the area that he spread it on and it was still too deep with cinders. After spreading a mountain of cinders for several hours and continuously expanding the parking area, there was no more realistic area to spread them so we said enough. I thought my SUV would get stuck in the deep loose cinders the first time I drove on them. I still leave ruts in the deep cinders. I now I pray for weather so the cinders might sink into the ground. When it rains or snows we drive the car up and down to compact the cinders. Most likely I'll die or break an ankle tripping over cinders before that ever happens. I brought in someone to try to fix the problem, and learned that I could have had the driveway built up correctly, and rolled to compact the cinders for the same as I paid Damian. Not just a dump and spread. I don't recommend this company at all.

I brought two antique lamps in to be rewired. I spoke with a man who wrote up my ticket. We agreed on wiring color and a timeline for completion. Three weeks later I came and picked up my beautiful, newly rewired lamps. They were in perfect condition. I could tell that they had spent quality time working on the lamps and I really appreciate it. I will attach pictures of my rewired lamps so you can see that they took excellent care of them. Upon pickup I met a woman named Kris who also helped me this past week with a finial fitter that was giving me trouble. She let me take the lamps out the back way because the lamps are very heavy brass and my car was closer to the back door.
Honestly neither Kris nor the man whom I originally dropped off the lamps with were rude. I can't even imagine what other reviewers are talking about. If the employees were going to be rude to anyone, I would think it would be me because I brought my 8 year old into a store with thousands of dollars worth of antiques. And unlike some of the other reviewers, I found the prices to be VERY reasonable. I paid twice as much for other lamps to be rewired in Ohio.
If you are bringing lamps or shades in to be repaired that means you would rather keep them then buy new ones. Or they are antique and you cannot find similar ones anymore. That means you want quality. These are quality professionals. I understand some reviewers were put off by the prices being different than the estimate. However, quality sometimes costs more. Consider your lighting as an investment. It is the jewelry of your home.
I will be brining any other lamps here that need to be repaired and i wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone who needs work done on their lighting.

We hired Chem Crete in August 2014 to remove and re-apply the concrete coating that had lasted 16 years on our patio. The work was done but they had to come back out twice to deal with the many drip marks and missed spots. After a year the coating began to de-laminate in 3 places. The owner came out and after much arguing agreed to honor the warranty and repair the spots but claimed it was from the concrete underneath decaying. This is not true. It appears they either did not prepare the surface correctly or they screwed up the sealing. Now there are 8 more spots that are de-laminating. This time he came out and said he would do nothing even though it is still under warranty. We have now filed a complaint with the Registrar of Contractors.
I have used many contractors for work on my house and I have never had one like Bob Comitz. His first reaction is to blame the customer and becomes defensive immediately. I would highly recommend that you not use this company
