HISTORY

Catarino Medina is a self made businessman, originally from Sonora, MX. Catarino came to the United States in search for a better life for him & his family. Spending time in different states he found his true love was AZ and decided to get into construction. He worked very hard for 15 years and learned a lot of great things. Although the Construction job was a blessing, he always in the back of his head wanted his own company. It wasn’t till 2007 when Catarino decided to quit his construction job & create his very own landscaping company from all of his construction earnings. In the beginning it was rough, borrowing certain equipment from friends or relatives & not to mention the theft of his equipment later that year. He & his family were devastated by the theft of his equipment and even thought about quitting but instead thought of his dreams. Fast forward 13 years later, he has been very successful and has helped out hundreds of AZ families with all of their Landscaping needs.

I hired this company and I am so happy! Daniel, the son, started out so responsible, it seemed, but it didn't prove to be true. After I hired them, I haven't been able to get Daniel to return my calls! But, the father is the one who does the actual work. After a couple of communication problems, and the crazy wind causing problems the day they worked, we got through it, they came back to finish up, and things are GREAT! It proved extremely hard to find a good, reliable landscaper, but I have found just that in Medina's! After the second time here, my yard was fantastic, unbelievably GOOD!! I highly recommend them!!

Daniel came once to service my yard and told me I needed service every 4 weeks. He never showed up again, all the new plants and flowers he installed died and weeds are overgrown everywhere.
I called after 5 weeks and he said he would come the following week. We set a day and time to which he blew off 3
times after repeated texts saying he eas on the way.
This company is unreliable. Do not hire.

Median's did an outstanding job on our backyard project. Not only are they kind and compassionate to work with, but they went above and beyond to get the job done within one day, which was not an easy task! We hired Daniel and his dad, Cat, to build a wall and install a concrete pad. Our plans for the concrete pad changed to pavers and a larger area. They showed up when they said they would, worked hard and finished the job in just a few days! We are so happy with final results, that we recommend them for any of your yard needs!

Daniel and his father were a pleasure to work with. They responded quickly, gave me multiple invoices so I could choose services that fit best within my needs and budget. They went above and beyond by cleaning up my front yard, raking the rock, pruning my tree and cleaning up a bush as well. I am very impressed with the the service and value. Medinas landscaping was a great find, they came by to give us a quote same day and came and did MAJOR work to revive our backyard. They are very knowledgeable about landscaping and palm tree maintenance. Daniel was phenomenal to work with and communicated his advice through the whole process. We've now hired medinas to create a whole backyard atmosphere and redo everything. They have done an amazing job and my wife and I couldn't be happier. Medina's Landscaping team is a friendly,family owned, one stop shop for everything relating to your front and backyard! I don't have much experience with with hardscaping or landscaping but Daniel and father were extremely transparent when giving us our estimate and patiently listened to us as we tried to explain our vision for our backyard. Originally we had only planned on inquiring about some concrete paving but they agreed to give us an estimate on some pavers (another project we were planning) as well! They're very flexible and very patient. The team really took their time (but still finished in less than 2 days) and checked in with us frequently to make sure we were satisfied with how everything was going. I'll definitely be hiring them again for some more hardscaping and landscaping projects!

Medina's Landscaping completed a full transformation of our backyard. The end results were exactly what we were looking for. Great communication throughout, from the free estimate until the very end. I needed five large oleanders removed from backyard for pool construction. Daniel, his father and their team did an excellent job! They were very professional and friendly. They arrived on time and were reasonably priced. They left the area clean by removing all debris, back filling holes, and raking. Very happy with their work and I would definitely recommend.

Initially tried to contact them via their web site - NO response. I then contacted them through Yelp and they responded and set an appointment for am estimate. The appointment time came and went. NO SHOW! Not even the courtesy of of a call/text. Will not give them the work!
