Floor Source

We had ALL of the flooring replaced in our new home by Floor Source. And while we did run into installation issues with both the upstairs carpet as well as the downstairs laminate, Floor Source stood by their word and made sure any issues were fully addressed. In our case, the carpet had to be completely reordered and reinstalled upstairs. In addition, a large portion of our downstairs flooring had to be ripped out and redone. As we stand today the final job looks outstanding.

Sharing more detail below that deserves to be noted:

Our sales lead was very wonderful and helpful in the beginning and worked very hard to find alternative flooring when we discovered our flooring was on backorder. He also made sure the carpet issues were addressed quickly as well, without a second thought. However, given our project was a long one due to high standards we had (and should have), installation challenges and backorder issues, he very slowly became short with us which was really disappointing. At one point when we texted him after discovering an issue  he responded I can't talk right now.  I understand that our job was a tough one where we admittedly had frustrated moments, but I work in customer service too. And I would not treat a client the way he did on that day and frankly a few other occasions prior to that, that I will not get into here.

Considering the above I want to give ALL of my 5 stars credit to Omar, the lead installer who really saved the day.  Rarely these days do you come across exceptional customer service like his. He stepped in immediately with empathy and patience. He has an extensive background in installation which gives him a detailed eye. From day one he wanted to make sure any issues were not only addressed immediately, but that they were done correctly for long term success. He repeatedly recognized the investment we were making in our floors with them, and the quality and customer service that we should expect as a result as well.

Thank you to Floor Source management for getting our job done to the quality that we expect despite the challenges along the way. I hope that you  recognize the gem you have with Omar, he sets a standard everyone there should follow.

I had a small project that needed work done at my house. Danny came through and gave some insight on material options. Day of install Jose and crew did an awesome job. The whole process was professional, reliable and high quality standard.

Danny was a delight to work with. Made a place go from looking sad to a million bucks with a budget. He will address your needs of flooring and has great suggestions for materials and durability of flooring.

Despite our home being a little off the beaten trail, Danny Lain was able to visit us quickly and assess the job. Tiles and supplies were ordered and the work was scheduled quickly. The install team was efficient, respectful and friendly. The new tile floor looks BEAUTIFUL !   Additionally the price was great and we were happy to get Floor Source who has a great reputation to do our job.

It was a pleasure working with Floor Source and their installation crew (Diaz Flooring).  We had a kitchen to redo because of water damage and we used them for the flooring (which extended throughout the living room) and backsplash.  Jarod was very helpful with our tile selection and very response to any questions we had throughout the process.  Diaz Flooring's workmanship is great and they accomplished all their work in a timely manner, making sure we were happy every step of the way.

Dave Andrews with Floor Source just put in new flooring in my bathrooms that had old, outdated, saltillo type looking tile.  Look at this beauty that was installed.

They also text you the day before the install is happening with an estimated time of arrival which is really helpful, not all contractors do that.

Dave also recommended this tile when my wife and I were looking at other tiles, we almost went with a small hex tile that was 5x more expensive, but he listened to our needs, and because we were moving out of our place in 1 year and renting it out, it didn't make sense to spend that money on this home, but would make sense to get something really high end for our next home.

We are really happy with our new carpet.  We worked with Cy to find the perfect carpet for us and he was amazing.  Once the carpet arrived at the warehouse, Cy was quick to schedule the install.  The installation team, headed by Wiley, was kind, courteous and clean!!!  I definitely recommend floor source.

Guy came out to quote me, was fairly friendly but ultimately wanted to charge me what I considered to be an exorbitant amount.

Store room was a ghost town on a Saturday which didn't bode well for me either. I asked him to pick tile samples back up and that was ignored.
Wouldn't be my pick.

Second update.

Now the owner is harassing me because he apparently can't read. My update is accurate. This place tried to rip me off. Now adding insult to injury by harassing me. Unprofessional, greedy, SO glad I dodged the bullet of working with them. My recommendation? Avoid at all costs! Rip off!!!

We had all of our new homes flooring replaced, there was carpet, vinyl & tile that we replaced with vinyl plank throughout the house as well as baseboards replaced. We had several quotes and floor source was the most cost effective but also a great overall experience. Things were finished faster than quoted and they did great work.

Very good prices. Helpful salesman. Installers were very thorough. Definitely worth a quote for your job.

I wish I could give Floor Source more than 5 stars. I emphatically recommend Floor Source.  My rep was Jarod and he was patient and knowledgeable in helping me through the process. He found the exact tile I had been looking for. The installation crew was fantastic!! It can be nerve-wracking finding good contractors but these gentlemen were top shelf. Fast talented polite and great to work with. I honestly could not have asked for a better experience. Extremely happy with the workmanship. If you need flooring call Jarod!

We are extremely happy with the experience we had with The Floor Source, from beginning to completion.  Our Salesperson Danny was knowledgeable and helpful in choosing our flooring, very thorough in explaining pricing and how the process would flow plus very responsive in follow up.  Angel and Carmen were great in scheduling and payment.  Finally the crew were real pros and did a great job during the installation.   The new floor looks phenomenal and we couldn't be happier with the entire relationship we had with Floor Source.

We chose Floor Source to install wood-plank-look porcelain tile throughout our home (about 1,600 sq ft).  They first had to remove carpet, laminate, and tile.  It was a huge job.  But the installers finished it beautifully.  The team was on time, polite and helpful.  At the end, everything was moved back into its place and things had been wiped down from the dust.  And the baseboards are awesome, a huge upgrade from what we had before.  I'd trust Floor Source with my clients, friends and family in the future.  We're very satisfied with our new tile floors!

This may be a bit premature but my wife and I were in their black canyon store and spoke with Omar, set an appointment to come and measure the space we wished new LVP for today between 4-5 pm. at 4:30 called to verify our appointment and got the impression he'd completely forgotten.
Have rescheduled for tomorrow so we'll see,but right now I'm not overly impressed with their professionalism.
Hopefully I'll be able to amend this review with something more positive...

They promised me good carpet with the right price and they delivered on that. Communication was amazing. I went in their pretty last minute desperate for a good carpet since another carpet place had cancelled on me and lied to me about being able to install in time. Think they were J and B carpets. The lady wouldn't shut up there and was very rude even though she told me she could make it work over the phone. Anyhoo, I found this place right after. They worked with me and did an excellent job. I actually look forward to working with them for other stuff because their customer service and products were amazing. I would definitely recommend them. This is what good customer service is.

I was very impressed with Joe and his team! We had a plumbing issue that turned into a bathroom remodel. They bent over backwards to make us feel better about the situation and our floors turned out better than we imagined!

We're are in the middle of repairing a roof and had a leak that ran down the wall onto our flooring.  Joe the salesman took the time to assist our contractor, and find us the perfect new flooring for our bedroom.

Their showroom is right off the 17 and they had the a variety of options so my wife was able to select samples and bring them home to check the colors.

I would highly recommend the team at Floor Source if you are considering new flooring for your home.

They did a great job at a very reasonable price. Carpet arrived earlier than they had projected and did a great job installing. Jarod was a great salesman and very helpful. Brought many samples to our home which was much better in making a decision on color. Also can get a Costco rebate if you buy Shaw carpet through them.

Price was below what others quoted and the quality of material and installation was very good.

Hired Floor Source for a second time for the flooring in my mother-in-law's remodel. No charge for carpet removal. Prices for plank porcelain competitive. Most importantly the job looks beautiful. Thank you Daniel.

I am so so happy with floor source and the work they did to put down my vinyl plank flooring. Dave the salesperson is wonderful. Rob the installer was professional and left no detail undone! I put it upstairs and downstairs. I have many small dogs that just have too many issues. This solved the problem and makes the house look so rich. Thank you for everything.

From the representatives in the showroom, the administrative staff and the carpet installers, everything was top shelf. Mario and Huber showed up on time and wearing mask. They went right to work removing furniture and the old carpet. They did an excellent installation and clean up. Could not be happier.

Amazing experience!  I had three companies come out to give quotes and floor source had the best material and was the cheapest by almost $600.  We had they instill  tile and carpet throughout the house.  We couldn't have asked for a better experience. Crews came on time and were very tidy and clean.

My husband and I got our floors done in our new house and Dave and his team did an amazing job. We are so happy with our floors and are looking forward to working with them again soon! Highly recommended.

We have recently replaced tile in our living room, dining room, lounge, kitchen and hallway with luxury vinyl plank. We received superb service from Floor Source right from the estimate, choosing the color, to tearing out the tile and installing the plank.

Jared was extremely helpful and made a number of trips to our house to bring different samples for us to choose from. The tearing out of tile was done as scheduled in the most professional way (with the least amount of dust). The installation of the vinyl plank was completed ahead of schedule and again was done in a very professional manner with the head of project making a visit each day.

I went In there regarding concerns of a certain carpet style and I was belittled and treated with disrespect. Would not recommend doing business with these people!

Daniel at Floor Source is AMAZING!!! I love my new vinyl plank flooring. Truthfully, I was not an easy customer to handle, as I was on the quest to avoid demolition and find a truly gray product. Daniel came through with a new Mohawk product and I absolutely love the final result. This has brightened up my entire house and was certainly money well spent. Given the 1600 square feet, I was amazed that the crew was able to complete the job within 48 hours. Super professional and I am so pleased with the final result. Stop reading reviews and just go to Floor Source and ask for Daniel. Life is too short to walk on ugly floors.

We found Floor Source through our Costco membership. The sales team reached out to us right away and scheduled an appointment within a few days. Jarod was friendly and knowledgeable. We felt the price was fair and placed our order. The carpet we chose arrived within two weeks and Jade in the office called to schedule our installation. The two gentlemen that arrived to install our carpet got to work quickly and were out in a few hours. The new carpet looks great and the padding Jarod suggested is perfect!

Showed up at 1:00 on Saturday, hours say open until 2:00. Saw people walk out right as we pulled up, tried to go inside and doors were locked. So either the people we saw leaving were the owners and didn't even acknowledge us or the owners locked the doors right after they saw us pull up. Poor customer service without even walking inside. Don't waste your time.

I've heard & read of some horror stories when doing any type of work on a home, but what an amazing experience it was dealing with Dave Andrews & the Floor Source team.  I did my due diligence & contacted 3 companies for a quote on replacing the carpet in my master bedroom, dining room & living room to travertine, which I currently had throughout the rest of my home.  After discussing the quotes with my husband, we opted to go with Floor Source mainly because of Dave. They weren't the least expensive of the quotes, but from the initial contact, Dave was professional on the phone, arrived on time for the in-home measurements to start the estimate & emailed the estimate when he said he would.  The most reassuring part (prior to confirming) was how knowledgable Dave was regarding this natural stone we wanted.  He educated us on the hows, whats & whys, answered questions without making us feel like duh, why don't you know this, as some people tend to do when they are an expert in a specific industry.  Dave was genuine with his suggestions, (not just trying to up-sale us) & he was very honest regarding the length of time the project might take from start to finish.   After we confirmed that we would go with Floor Source, Dave was STILL ever so responsive to any random question my husband or I had - that was awesome!  On day one, Dave arrived with the team that would be doing the install & walked us through what we should expect so there weren't any surprises.  As for the team that came in daily, WOW!  To quote my husband these guys are money!  The install was clean & flawless!  We really couldn't be more happy!  THANK YOU Dave & team for making our home SO beautiful!!!

I was shopping for carpeting for my entire house. Since I'm big on supporting my neighborhood stores I thought I would give these guys a try. I walked into their beautiful showroom just off the I-17 frontage road and started looking around. I found a couple of samples that I thought would look nice. I continued to look around and since there was only one other customer in the store I thought for sure I would get some assistance soon. No, not the case. I waited for about thirty minutes for someone to even acknowledge my presence. Nope. I ended up leaving.

We had carpet pulled out  of our  entire upstairs and replaced with luxury vinyl plank. On my first visit, Dave showed me some different options and let me take samples home. He then came out and did an estimate and answered questions. They were responsive over  email and text. They were accurate on how long installation would take and worked with  me so I could paint the baseboards before they were installed. Here's the key: what happens when something isn't right? There were two places where the baseboards weren't flush against the walk. They set up an appointment quickly and the installer came back out and fixed it. Definitely recommend!

We are upgrading our review from a 1 to a 4 after General Manager Scott Primeau reached out to personally apologize for our experience. He did not provide excuses as we had heard before he took responsibility and truly appreciated our concerns.  We had no issue with the carpet itself or the installers it simply was the scheduling issues we had. I want to personally thank Scott for calling, caring, and making a special trip to our home.

Outstanding in every way!  Jarod is the best.  Got quotes from other places, but found exactly what I wanted at a very reasonable price.  My place is fairly large so a big area to replace.  The crew moved the furniture and did the old carpet removal and installation of new padding and new carpet in about a day and a half.  They did a perfect job and I love it.  This is the best place in Phoenix!  Highly recommend them in every way!

Jared Alexander and his awesome team with Floor Source just completed installing vinyl flooring in my entire downstairs - about 1800 sf.  (including removing 40 year old tile!) They were amazing!  Jared returned every call, endured every indecision, and responded to every flooring request with patience and kindness.  And, I was a tough and very indecisive client!  The installers worked 8-10 hour days for 3 days and came back again on Monday for another 7 hours to complete the job with perfection.  They were the hardest workers (David and Dennis) and the nicest young men, with Gabi, as their supervisor, being equally attentive!  Seriously, HIGHLY recommend this group for doing an outstanding job!  I am thrilled with my new floors!

I just had new tile flooring installed by Floor Source after finding them thru Costco.  Jared and the team were professional and did an amazing job.  The timeframes for installation were exactly what I was told, the quality of the both the tile and the installation was fantastic.  The price was reasonable and I got a good value for what I paid.  I have already recommended Floor source to my 70-year-old Mom!  Great company!

I went with Floor Source to put down new flooring in two bed rooms.  I went with a vinyl wood planking to replace the existing laminate flooring.  I got quotes from 3 different vendors and Floor Source came back as the most affordable (by about $300).  The new flooring is now installed in my house and looks/feels great.  There were a couple loose ends and misunderstandings with the job (mostly on my end), but overall they did a nice job with the installation, it was done very quickly (about 5 hours start-to-finish), and it looks great.  I would work with Floor Source again in the future.

Tom the owner takes great pride in customer service. They carpeted my stairs and they look fabulous.

Absolutely five stars for this company, for their service, selection, price and professionalism. Daniel was great helping us pick out a good tile that would work in our space, and got the installers scheduled in just a week so that the floor could be done before a visit from my parents in law. The installers were professional and personable and left the place clean and ready to go. Really glad to have found these guys and would not just recommend them highly, but consider them my sole source for future projects.

When we were selling our house, we used Floor Source as our carpet vendor. They provided us with a cost effective proposal to replace our outdated carpet to prepare our house for sale. They did such a great job that when we needed a large bound edge area rug for our living room, we knew where to go. Once again we went to Floor Source and picked out a couple of samples. We called the next day to place our order, and conveniently paid on line. This is our first choice for floor coverings.

Prices compete with big box stores and their service is way better. High quality carpet and pad and was able to install about 10 days after I ordered. When they installed they were quick, clean and professional. Highly recommend.

We just had my floors done by Floor Source. Josh came to our house on Tuesday. He was very professional and polite. He measured our floors, asked what we were looking for, made some helpful suggestions, and gave us a quote. He was not at all pushy.

By the time he left, we were booked to have our new floors put in on Thursday. On Wednesday, he called and said that they didn't have enough flooring material in stock and they would have to do our floors next week. We could have easily backed out with no consequences if we didn't want to wait. But we decided to just wait. Because we weren't going to get our original date, Josh gave us $200 off the price...just like that.

The team came to our house on the scheduled day. They were also professional. They got to work right away. They got to the house around 0930 and didn't leave until 7 p.m. just so they could finish. They cleaned up after themselves.

Yes, it is true! This is a 5 star business! From the online contact I made, someone phoned me within the hour. I drove to the store, chose a carpet; and sales came to my home to confirm measurements. I had the carpet installed within two days! And....the installers: top notch. The crew (Flavio, Omar and Sergio) arrived at 830am and worked constantly! They installed over 1400 sq ft of carpet, moved HEAVY furniture, took down beds and put EVERYTHING back in its place, for me. They thoroughly vacuumed and swept the tile, even swept off the driveway before leaving! I could not be happier from the point of contact, to the end of the experience. DO NOT CONSIDER using the big name brands for carpet, before trying this company - keep your money in AZ! Thank you Floor Source, for having a decent group of folks in your business!

We recently had our entire house re-floored (tile/carpet).  The quality of workmanship was awesome and the installation crews were great.  Tom and Scott were very professional and helpful throughout the entire process.  We couldn't be happier with our selection of the Floor Source.

I came to Floor Source because it is close to my house.  I wish I had looked for something further away. I wanted some carpet replaced in  my living room, with some tile that matched existing tile.

Pros - the lady who greeted me on the phone and when I walked in was professional, polite and helpful.  Danielle, I believe. The first appointment when the manager, Margie, came out was good.

Cons - everything else.  After Margie left, she ordered some tile based off of the builder's specs.  I never heard from her if the tiles were in and had to call her.  She scheduled an install for Monday & Tuesday before Thanksgiving, or so she told me.  I called her beforehand, to find out that she had a miscommunication (#1) with the installer and he could only come out Wed & Thu.  I asked her if he was going to install on Thanksgiving. She got someone to come out on Tues afternoon , but was flabbergasted when i said he had to be out by 5PM as I had a meeting, and was not comfortable with someone unknown in my house alone.

Then the day of the install.  The tile was not anywhere near close to the color of the existing tile.  Not her fault, but the installer had already torn out the existing carpet and broken a few of the tiles before we discovered this. I called Margie and she came out.  We ordered some tile and I paid a restocking fee for the previous order. Keep in mind that I have a concrete floor in my living room now and no furniture. I waited for  a call letting me know the tile was in, never got it, and had to call her.  She scheduled an install for Monday and Tuesday, but when i called to verify the Saturday before, she had not made the appointment claiming another miscommunication (#2).

I told her I was about to cancel the whole order and she got someone to install.  I will update this after the install...

Update: The install went well and I was very happy with the installer.  We made some decisions on-the-spot that I am very pleased with.  I upgraded from 1 to 2 stars based on the install.

We have been using Tom at Floor Source for the last 6 years for all of our flooring, bathroom surrounds, kitchen surrounds, etc.  We have used him and his crew on at least 100 flip properties over the years and on all of our personal projects.  His crew just finished up another small project at our house and it turned out great.  The pricing is always fair and the work is always perfect, and if it isn't exactly what you want they will make it right.  I wouldn't go anywhere else.

We had 1100 sq ft of new tile installed replacing existing tile. Michelle was wonderful in helping me choose the color. She had said she thought it could be done in 5 days, so we set the date. Because of the amount of work still to be done after the 2nd day, my husband called the office and next thing you know Tom shows up with 4 more guys to help. They completed the project within 5 days. Due to my husband's medical issues, it was quite a hardship for him. Imagine his surprise when Tom offered to help him repair a desk that we had dismembered! Totally professional group of people, and I would recommend them to anyone! Thanks, Tom! You are a true professional that cares about the clients!

Floor Source is the only place to go.  After researching companies and obtaining estimates, Tom and Floor Source came out on top.  He treated us well, gave us a great price, and did a fantastic job installing our new tile floor.

Tom (the owner) knows what he is doing and takes pride in his work.  He lives up to every promise made, can be trusted, and has made a customer for life.  After planning the job, I gave him the keys to our house, went on vacation, and came back to a perfectly installed floor.

Don't waste your time, if you need a new floor priced and installed right, Floor Source is the place.

I can't say enough nice things about Tom and the folks at Floor Source.  I had received a quote from a big box home improvement store (which shall remain nameless) and was shocked at how expensive they were for cheap-looking carpeting.  I went to Floor Source and not only was their carpet much nicer, their price was nearly half of what the other quote was, and they install the very next day!  The carpet looks beautiful and the workers were fast and professional, caused no disruption or damage to the walls (which the other company couldn't promise wouldn't happen).  These guys know customer service and I'll refer anyone who asks to Floor Source!

Kudos to Tom and the boys for a job well done. Needed new carpet in the condo. Called him on a Monday. Had a bid and samples and installed by Wednesday. No hassles, no brain damage. A job well done. Tom will be getting a call from me next time I need carpet, you can count on that.

I was looking for a specific tile and found Floor Source on Google, their prices are really great I was able to buy them and complete my project under budget. I dealt with Tom over email the day before. I'd highly recommend them.

Our only place for flooring!  Tom always has the best deals and really quick installation.  We have used him many times and he delivers a quality product, a great price and personal service every time!  We won't be calling anyone else for our flooring needs as long as Floor Source is around.

Scott came and measured on Wednesday at 11am and brought carpet samples. As promised, his crews were on-site at 8am the next day!! They knocked all new carpet in my 1400sqft 2-story home in 1 day! Installers were courteous, clean and professional. Pricing was very competitive. If you're looking for a quick turn around and great service, look no further.

So finally today it is all done. Carpet looks and feels amazing. Would've been done sooner but new carpet was needed in the kids rooms and took some time to order. Thank you for making it better.

I just had an outstanding experience with Floor Source. The owner (Tom) got directly involved with a small problem I had with some new carpet and handle the issue. I was selling my house and wanted to replace the carpet with an economical but nice looking carpet. I had maybe 6 or 8 other companies come over. Not one of their salespeople heard what I was saying to them, and I speak quite clearly. They all tried to up-sell me and then give me discounts if I signed right now!! Even with their so called discounts their prices were way high. Michelle Hunt was referred to me by a happy customer and she LISTENED  and HEARD what I asked for. She gave me a great carpet at about the price that I had hoped to pay. The instalation was within a few days, the installers were great. they were clean, respectful and went out of their way to fix a closet door that got jammed.  I reccomend Floor Source whole heartedly.  Good job !!!!

I have purchased floor tile and carpet from Floor Source for my home.  Last week the floor tile was installed and it looks wonderful. Could not agree more with the other reviews. Tom and his staff are the best. I have only bought carpet for 1 room so far, but will be buying more from them. Great carpet..great prices...awesome service!

I had my laminate floor installed in February 2014.  There were a couple of areas which needed replaced and the owner Tom came out personally to inspect the floor.  Everything that was promised was completed in a timely and professional manner. I am very happy with the results and will use Floor Source in the future when I have my carpets replaced.  Tom went above and beyond my expectations.
