Astonishing Landscaping is astonishingly terrible and don't even know landscaping 101. George is the worst landscaper I have ever hired across all 10 states I have lived. He didn't even complete the job he was paid for or clean up the terrible job he did do. He literally did half of the job he was paid for only to leave mid way and  never to be heard of again. If you desperately need to hire George, make sure to pay George AFTER the work is complete and don't make the mistake I did by paying up front because you really do need to verify that the job you paid for is complete, just absolutely terrible.

We asked Valleywide to come out and give a quote for quite a bit of demo work in our back and front yards that included haul away, concrete demo, block demo. Initially, Ben was so friendly and promised quite of bit on behalf of his company. His initial consultation with us even gave hope that he could eventually help us do some extensive remodel to the back door/patio of our house and the back wall of our master bedroom. When it came time to estimate the project, Valleywide advised they were equipped to do not only our demo and haul away, but also construct a new block wall, lay a new cement slab and install new gates for us. We were so excited to have found an all-in-one company, so we scheduled our project as soon as they were free.

Once the project started, it was downhill from there. They first advised they'd be a day late, then days late, then over a week late. Once they began, the demo went okay aside from a cracked drip line that we repaired ourselves. The pivot from demo to construction was atrocious. We were told a mason was scheduled to come out to construct our block wall. They didn't show for a week. After some serious questioning from our neighbors and HOA, we pressured Valleywide to get back out ASAP, and they ultimately did show up the following Monday but without a mason. Ben and his partner, who didn't appear to be masons, spent the better part of three days trying to figure out how to properly align our wall. They laid slab over the footings and ultimately created an uneven base for their project. We don't love the end result, but the wall was finally finished after the mason arrived on Thursday that week. In short, it as a sloppy finish that we'll have to sand down before we paint.

Lastly, the real kicker for me is in the details. From the beginning of this project, our biggest concern was installing new gates that properly fit the fence openings, opened and closed with ease (unlike our last RV gate) and did not offer any openings big enough for our small dogs to fit through. Late Friday afternoon, the final day of the project, one guy was left on the job installing the gates. They were installed with a substantial opening at the bottom that our dogs could easily crawl under. The gentleman was nice enough to adjust the height at the end of his shift. When I opened and closed the RV gate, i realized they overlapped slightly and will not close without some force. Worse off, you have to throw your shoulder into the gate to get it to open. And as if that's not frustrating enough, they used the smallest screws to attach the composite slats to the frame that do not go all the way through the slat. In less than 2 weeks, most of those screws popped right off and are completely incapable of holding the fence slats together. When I asked Ben about the construction and size of the frame, his answer was that's as good as we can get it. We'll be in the market soon for a properly fitted gate to replace the complete waste of money this gate ended up being.

If it isn't clear by now. I would not recommend allowing this company to take your money and contract out some truly terrible work. Their demo quality (the namesake of their company) was fine. Do yourself a favor and put in the extra leg work to have other professional companies do the rest of the job.

Zach from Crash of Rhinos came out and gave us a very thorough estimate and project plan!  He explained the entire scope of work from start to finish via his presentation.  Zach was extremely friendly and professional!  Crash of Rhinos was definitely competitive with their pricing and the presentation done by Zach was amazing!  We would definitely recommend this company to anyone we know!

They did a wonderful job setting up my back yard. The way they positioned everything is so precise.  I love the job they did.

We removed commercial grade tile and needed the floor grinned down to get ready to put hardwood floor in. EZE decor concrete did a wonderful job grinding and leveling the concrete floor. We were very pleased with how well they worked and treated our home as if it was their own. The guys were all very professional and easy to work with. Came back afterwards and made sure everything was perfect. We would certainly use them again for more/other projects.

Gentlemen answered the phone hello. No business name or individual name given (i.e. this is John with ABC Company). I called to get a price on some curbing I need to have done at a rental property. The guy on the phone gave me a price per linear foot but did not tell me their was a minimum until I asked. He said there was a minimum but didn't know what it was and was going to have to check with my guy.

I asked if it was a sub he was using and he said no, he just didn't know the price. In my work environment I'm able to tell you exactly the price of any service you need immediately. I told him I would get the linear feet and call him back.

So far looking less than previously reviewed....

Completely dependable, willing to re-evaluate their initial resolution to correct a building poorly constructed (by a different company), A-1 Concrete created the needed remedy.    My job was relatively small, but still they chose to address my problem thoughtfully with attention to the aesthetic side to the repair as well.

American Materials came out and poured two sections for me. Footer for the back yard and front driveway extension. Guy was awesome and worked with us in getting the truck in the back to pour. Was recommended by Rock Solid. Keep in mind this is a mix on site truck and not a ready to pour truck. I guess it makes a difference in consistency for the cement. Either way these fellas did a great job and my finisher nailed it. Thanks fellas.

Scottsdale Concrete did a fantastic job with my concrete project. It was quite complicated and they knocked it out of the park. They are reliable, skilled and kind. Call them now for your concrete needs!

We had some concrete work done last week and our contractor used Rock Solid Concrete. The driver Vince showed up on time and was very professional and courteous.
Once everything got going, there was a new guy learning concrete and Vince was very outgoing in helping train the new guy and being bilingual was a plus since this played a vital role in helping train the new guy.
Vince also shared his knowledge with me, the home owner, on what was going on, the terms and signals that were being used, just general overall concrete tutoring basically.
Vince is not just typical driver fo xyz company, he legitimately cares that he is professional, outgoing, caring of the job at hand, and wants to make sure the job is done right and that the customer is well take care of.
Great job hiring Vince! He will be a great leader for your company.

I never write reviews but this company is HORRIBLE so I felt compelled to write a review. Didn't want others to do business with this company and have the same experience we did. We asked for a quote, which took forever to get. Following the quote we were supposed to get samples to pick a color which we never got - finally they delivered it the day before we were scheduled to have our pool deck done (we had to call and ask for it twice that day). The day we were scheduled, they never showed - just didn't show up. We tried calling to see what happened, no one answered our calls, no one phoned us back. They are horrible. We had an entire renovation of our backyard and this was the last step to be finished prior to our son's 8th birthday party and they just no showed. I will be calling the better business bureau as well. HORRIBLE.

Tony was punctual and Crew was on time. Brick added to home and did great job. Follow up and contact was  awesome.

I should have taken the reviews seriously. This guy came out to take a look at our project, even after I posted that our job wouldn't be the largest and he talked a good talk but never gave us an estimate. I even followed up with him a couple days later by text. Again he said he'd get it to me the following day and nada. If a company can't even follow through with an estimate I've learned not to trust they'd do a good job or be able to communicate with their us about our job. Just don't trust them.

Great company to work with , had a kitchen remodeled and it came out better than I was expecting ! Very professional and everything was done on time .

really james...you set up the appointment for me 2 days ahead of time...i switch my work schedule to meet with you, then i get a call right before appointment saying you wont be there at 9:30 but will be able to meet at 11:30 which i thought ok i can work around this...at 12:25 i get a call saying you will be another 30 minutes???  when i express that you have already started out on the wrong foot you just laugh and said then your not coming at all!   this is just rude!!! no customer service at all???  glad i didnt go with you...who knows how you would have been once you had my money...

please think twice before calling this business!

Do not recommend this guy.  He does horrible work, horrible communication and ruined the paint job on our house.  He does not stand by his work.
