I contacted Low-E Windows and ordered several windows through them. David and Sam were so professional from the first call. They were helpful when measuring, ordering and delivery. They went out of their way for delivery of my windows to accommodate my deadlines. It's refreshing to see people operate with integrity and exceptional customer service and represent a quality product. I highly recommend them and will be using them in the future!

Edit...removed a star. Jeff and his assistant were nice and they did the work we needed as stated below. While they were here, we also discussed an issue we were having with the locking mechanism. He quoted a reasonable cost to replace but did not have the part with him. He said he'd return the following day around noon to replace the part. No call/No show. Even after I texted him at the end of the day to determine if he'd still come to fix, there was no reply of any kind.
Saved a lot or money considering we thought we'd have to replace the sliding glass door to our patio. We've had issues with them for years and finally got to the point we weren't going to deal with it any longer. We got quotes on replacements and just didn't want to spend the money as we're not completely certain what we want to replace them with. Found USA Sliding Doors through Google and called for a quote. Jeff said he could be out that afternoon. He showed a little later than quoted but within forgivable timeframe. He assessed the issue, replaced the rollers for the quoted price, cleaned up and provided us with additional information to keep the door in good working condition.

During the course of a full home remodel we were in need of two splash panels for a walk in shower. Ray responded to our request on Thumbtack and came out to view our project. Ray informed me that when he measures for the job he will use a laser measuring system for pinpoint accuracy at manufacture and install and quoted me a price that was roughly 20% higher than any of the other quotes we had received. I let Ray know that we were getting multiple quotes and that his was quite higher than the rest, at this time Ray turned on his smarmy salesman charm and attempted to have me sign a contract then and there along with allowing to him take the measurements that day. I was unappreciative of the pushy sales tactics and told him we would review our options and get back to him. Later that day Ray emailed me with an updated quote with a lower price that was more in line with our others yet still somewhat pricier than the other quotes we had received. Despite the smarmy sales tactics we decided to hire ProStar because we figured the laser measurements would be worth the extra cost to ensure an exact fit, a decision my wife and I would later regret. Ray came out and measured and supplied a contract that stated the install would take place 2-4 weeks after the signed contract but Ray assured me it is typically closer to 2 weeks than 4. After three weeks of waiting, with no communication from ProStar my wife called Susie on her cell phone for a status update. At that time Susie said she was driving and would have to return my wife's call when she got back to the office. This return phone call was neglected and never took place. After a day or two I called Susie for a status update and was informed that the glass panels would be in the following Friday with the intention of installing them the next day on Saturday. However, on Friday I received a phone call from Ray stating that the glass panels were manufactured incorrectly, so much for laser precision. At this time Ray's smarmy salesman appeared again, instead of working with the manufacturer to correct the issue Ray suggested that he send his installers out anyways and that they can notch my tile and tile trim so that the glass panels would fit. I of course disagreed with this option as I didn't want any cuts to my newly tiled shower and requested that instead of dealing with notching the tile or trim, why not just make the panels slightly smaller to avoid the trim issue in the first place. Ray agreed with this idea and stated he would come out the next day on Saturday to remeasure. Not only did Ray not show up for the remeasure, he didn't even have the common courtesy to call and say he wouldn't be coming. On Monday I text Ray asking when he was planning on coming out to remeasure to which he responded that there was no reason to come remeasure as he decided to order the glass 3/8's of an inch smaller. The issue with this is that I took a picture of the trim, measured with my own tape measure showing Ray that the trim was actually 5/8's thick, a full 1/4 of an inch larger than his guesstimate. Ray reordered the glass with MY measurement instead. The following Friday I received a call from Susie letting me know that the glass panels were in and that she would like to have them installed that Saturday (almost SIX weeks from the contract date) between 730/8 AM. I said this was fine as long as she gave us a call 30 mins before arriving so that we could corral the dogs and be out of our Master Bedroom before they got here. Unsurprisingly I did receive a phone call prior, but it was when Susie and the installers were at my front door not the 30 minutes prior as she had promised. With all of the above being said, the installers that showed up were professional, courteous and did an excellent job with the install. So my take aways from this experience are: 1. Ray's initial quotes are high and soft, if you press him he will come down but will probably still be higher than most. 2. Be prepared to wait a LONG LONG time to have your shower glass installed. 3. Dont expect any sense of customer service or respect for your time from Ray or Susie, you will receive neither. So... if you're willing to deal with all of that and pay a higher price for your shower doors than ProStar, Ray and Susie are your company.

This was by far one of the most horrible experiences I have ever had. I have never had an interaction go so south as it did with this business. The only positive was my initial interaction with Intizara on the very first in store visit to sit down and look at doors for my renovation. Once we left the store, it was downhill from there. First off, the communication with this business was HORRIBLE. Once we decided on what doors we wanted, it took days and days for them to get back with a quote. We wasted about 3-4 weeks of time just waiting for them to get back to us. Secondly, we could not get a straight answer as to when install would be. Intizara, the sales associate, told us one thing while Ellen told us another. They ended up showing up with the doors on a day we were told would NOT be the delivery day and thus were not prepared. It just got worse from there. The craftsmanship of the doors was mediocre at best and the finishing touches on doors were poorly done. For example, when looking closely at the French doors, the weather stripping was bulging out from under the frame around the windows which is just tacky and unprofessional. The install was an absolute train wreck. The installer ended up having to cut into my wall to fit the new frame but failed to prep the work area and got dirt and plaster all over my living room. Any qualified worker would have taped off the section first. My living room was completely trashed after the French door install was done and it took me three hours to clean up. They didn't caulk in the frame or patch the drywall they broke off in the process. Nor did they texture all the nail holes in the casing. Again, just total lack of professionalism. It was utterly disappointing. The only redeeming thing quality of the install was that the installer was able to get a frame in place in a very challenging doorway. I called Stan Brimley the owner to voice my concerns. His lack of customer service was shocking and his response to my concerns over finishing the door was that's not what we do, we install doors. We don't caulk in or texture. To me, if your name is stamped on the product, I'd want to make sure I left a good product and the customer was happy. Why in the world would I pay $800 to install three sets of doors and then have to pay someone else to come in and finish them?! Stan came to the sight the following morning to inspect the work. I told him I did not want them to finish install on the other two doors and would like partial refund and he agreed. However the saga continued when I was waiting for the refund which over a week. I have been in business in the valley for 23 years and have never dealt with someone more unprofessional. The experience was traumatizing. To add insult to injury, when I texted both Stan and Ellen to inquire as to the status of my refund, they told me to stop bothering them and that they had already refunded me. After pointing out that they had mistaken me with another customer and addressing me by the wrong name, they sheepishly apologized and issued the refund. Just a terrible experience. And I write this not looking to sabotage their business. I write this because I want them to improve. There needs to be accountability and if it takes public acknowledgment, so be it. I will never use this business again.

Terrible time getting my kitchen remodel done initially, but wait, it got better. I tried to change filters for my RO system under the sink and found that they had forced a new sink down right on top of it (rather than moving it down first) with the result being that I cannot change the filters. I scheduled a fix with the, and took the day off for their technician to appear and instead got a call saying he was sick and couldn't come. My day off work was wasted. Instead they offered me the next available appointment -- TEN DAYS later. Ouch.
