In order to understand my review, you must first understand me.  I am meticulous with details and am a perfectionist by nature.  I don't usually expect providers to be the same way but Michael at Slider Door Guru is!  Let me explain.  

Initially, my sliding door took: the might of Hercules, the will of the little train that could, and the courage of a firefighter, to open.  Over the years, the track had become seriously worn; as a result, we just expected to have to buy and replace the whole door and screen with a completely new one.  My whole family HATED having to open it because of the effort it took to get it open.  We knew we needed an expert to help us.  Luckily, we stumbled upon Slider Door Guru!  Michael assured me that a replacement wasn't necessary and that he could fix ours.  After wrestling with the stubborn slider for several months, I had my doubts!  Nevertheless, I had faith and Michael got to work on the repair.  

Michael, diligently worked to make the track and rollers right again.  First, he started with a standard track and replaced the rollers but he was not happy with doing a minimal job with average results.  He quickly realized he needed a heavy duty track replacement to do the job effectively.  He did just that and charged the same amount.  His attention to detail is impressive.  He fine-tuned the slider, ordered and installed a new screen, and always communicated the process with me. Now, the sliding glass door and screen work beautifully.  Gone are the days of nearly getting a hernia trying to open the door!  No longer do we have to pray to God for strength before we attempt to slide our door open.  

If your sliding door is giving you issues, call Sliding Door Guru to help you out.  However, my suggestion comes with a few caveats.  Only call Michael if you expect and appreciate:  Professional service, awesome communication, attention to detail, honesty, and fair pricing.  If you don't like these things, go elsewhere.

Matt provides same day service (within a few hours) for an old window that was falling apart.  He was honest, polite and professional.

I used Discount windows and doors on a recent fix & flip project.  My numbers were tight and was thrilled with the pricing I got for the windows and 3 sliders I purchased.  The service was excellent!  Even with a slight issue of a damaged window frame, I would definitely call them again to bid on the next project.  The damage on the window was replaced as soon as I pointed it out.  If you need windows, def give them a call.

This was one of the best experiences I've had with a business. I submitted an online quote request on Wednesday evening, got a phone call around 8:45am the next morning and the mirror was done by 11am and ready to pick up. It was affordable, super quick, and everyone I dealt with was very nice. Excellent experience, highly recommend!!!

I started a re-model job several months ago and just completed it due to some unfavorable companies that I dealt with. First delivery of a couple of windows and screens, produced a install that broke the window. The replacement window was delivered with a scratch that was covered up by a sticker. The third attempt was successful. Most of the problem I had was with the scheduling people who repeatedly set me up for 4-6pm on Friday afternoons. If they arrived at 6pm that would be at least 7pm or after for completion). I kept telling her each time that that was unacceptable as that was MY time. I finally found out that she was attempting to schedule me for late Fridays because their business is in the east valley and would like to have the installer end his days in the west valley and closer to home. I finally had to call the General Manager who made things happen according to the CUSTOMER'S wishes.

I really wish I could give Precision Fit Doors... (Jason is the owner/operator) MORE than 5 stars. I called him on Wednesday and he came to my house the same day - and it wasn't even an emergency! This was after I called Home Depot and was told it would be a minimum of 3 weeks for a new door... Apparently, Home Depot subs out their jobs (after taking their cut) and then a lot of the time those subs (after taking their cut ) - well - then they too sub out the job yet again! In other words, you have no idea who is doing your door...
Anyway, I wanted to buy a new, upgraded, sliding screen door because mine was a disaster. Jason drove a loooong way to get to my house and then informed me my door was a Milgard (already an upgraded version) and said he could repair it for a lot less. He didn't mean just replacing the screen either, he also removed the beat up, old plastic wheels and put long-lasting, steel ones on. He also fixed the lock and he put the door back in and it is fantastic! It slides so easily and looks brand new! I really couldn't be happier. Amazingly, the door was installed by Friday, only 3 days total waiting time! One more thing - not many business owners are honest enough to under-sell themselves. Jason also is friendly, neat, respectful and is determined to make his customers happy. He is a finish carpenter and can even retro fit bigger doors/windows, etc. into smaller spaces (wow) and all kinds of other interesting things. Hey Jason - I'm giving you 10 stars!!!

I called on Wednesday and Tye was able to come out on Friday to our Mesa, AZ home.   He called about an hour before he was to arrive at his scheduled time to let me know he was on his way.  Tye has the nicest set-up.  He is   attentive to the details and getting the job done right.   Felt very comfortable having Tye in my home.  Very pleased with his work and would recommend Tye and his company.

10/10 could not recommend more.

Out of 10 companies. Valiant was the most responsive, had the best pricing and was available immediately. Showed up exactly on time for the scheduled appointment. Shane was on point to say the least and couldn't have been a nicer guy.

There was also no Well, you really should look into upgrading this window as well as all the others. I got that type of response from a lot of other companies, even though I explained it was a rental property. One even asked me to go back to the landlord about upgrading..

I knew exactly what I was asking for, single pane clear glass with dimensions and they delivered.

While I hope I don't deal with many more broken windows, this company will be my go-to if and when I do.

I went to ABC glass to order glass to go over my dining room table top (for protection and looks). I have to say the woman at the front counter wasn't particularly friendly, but the gentleman behind the counter was extremely helpful and very knowledgable. He was able to show me exactly what my options were, and even let me take home a sample cut to make sure it was what I really wanted. He recommended having one of their guys come out to measure the table top to ensure the perfect fit - and I'm so glad I did!! Mike did a great job measuring and I'm not sure it would've worked out so well had I measured it myself.

The glass was delivered earlier than expected, and the three guys who came out, Derrick, Mike, and another young man (I didn't catch his name) really went above and beyond. My table has a reclaimed wood top so the surface was a bit uneven. The glass wouldn't sit flat and I was kind of freaking out! But these guys got underneath the table with their tools, and was able to adjust the table top so that it was more level, ensuring the glass was stable, supported, and seated properly. I was so impressed with the level of commitment these guys showed in making sure I was a happy customer. Way to go ABC!!

Highly recommend!! Did a great job fixing our glass door, there were some mistakes but Eddie came back and fixed it!! I really appreciate that, he made sure we were happy about the little details. Thank you!!

After multiple complaints about the roof, and being told that's the way it should be my insurer asked for an independent inspector and he found issues to be corrected. The warranty company, LoveOurRoof then came out to repair multiple times. They lifted up my evaporative cooler and the condensation line from my ac and now water is pouring out of the units, but I am told that it is because my units are in disrepair (although prior to any roof work the units were fine). If I had to do it over, definitely not Xcel.

The owners followed up on my issues and took care of everything promptly. We are happy with the finished product and enjoying the kitchen remodel.

They used a dirty tactic last week to get my case closed with the Registrar of Contractors by having their brother Justin Jobe who they told the Better Business Bureau isn't even part of their company show up in their place for the inspection. Here's the thing, Justin Jobe was already told that he wasn't allowed to come back to my house and it was all done so that I would deny access. The ROC investigators had already told me to involve law enforcement, but then used it against me by closing my case against Haven Construction when their brother Justin Jobe of Grayson LLC came in their place even though everyone knew he wasn't allowed on the property. I've added more photos because now the foundation is cracking my floor tiles and expanding the crack in an exterior wall too.

The guy told me not to buy this unit sold at Home Depot but to buy one from Parker and son. Parker and son wants $7,000.... This was $1,200 + 500 to a guy to install it. Saved me $5,300 by not listening to the guy working at Home Depot... I don't get why they buy these, stock them and then not try to sell them....
