Best Windows Installations in United States
I am saddened to have to write this review, but this is my honest account of our experience with the Arizona Door Store.
My husband and I initially met with Brandon to discuss our needs for new patio doors. He was kind, thorough, and seemed very sincere. We discussed our deadline which was about two months away (we were leaving on an international trip), and Brandon promised the job would be completed on time. Personally, I was feeling unsure about whether to have the door just primed, or fully painted. Brandon reassured my husband and I that a primed door would save money and still look beautiful. He had many photos on an ipad to show us (little did we know, all of the doors we were shown were painted instead of simply primed). We needed some time to think about it and to continue our shopping. He was very understanding and gave us his information so we could reach out with questions.
After continuing our shopping, we felt that Arizona Door Store was still the best choice for us, and so we reached out to Brandon again. He came out and we finalized our French door installation. I asked him again about the primed vs. painted option, and he still suggested primed doors. We signed our contract and were again reassured that our deadline would not be an issue.
Fast forward to the week of our deadline. I reached out to Arizona Door Store because I was getting nervous about installation and hadn't heard a peep since they took our deposit, despite several attempts to communicate on our end. We finally heard from Brandon, who then referred us to Greg, and both gentleman profusely apologized. We did not get the full story from them, but it seemed as though we were simply overlooked in the shuffle and they forgot to tell us our doors had arrived and were ready to be installed. They offered to come the next day to install, but it did not fit our schedule. My husband and I both work long, strange hours and the door installation would take most of the day to complete. It wasn't possible to drop everything and set something up for the next day (especially with an international vacation days away). Our deadline came and went, no new French doors installed.
We returned from our trip and reached out to have our doors installed. We were able to set a date about a week later. Install day was messy as expected, but I was extremely frustrated to come home later that day and discover a three-colored door, when we had ordered white. They also forgot several screw covers, so there were multiple holes in one of the doors. I called Greg in a panic about what had happened, and he quickly calmed me down. Greg shared that he always recommends painted doors for this reason (I wish he would make his sales staff carry pictures of primed vs. painted, especially since Brandon was so confident that primed would look just fine), and that the missing screw covers were their fault. He offered me painting at-cost and promised the painters would bring the screw covers. For a short time, I was feeling much better.
Painting day had arrived. The painter had visited the main office to pick up the screw covers, and he said they were closed so he couldn't bring them. He did a fairly decent job with the painting, no major complaints. He did, however, mention how strange it was that they chose a black rubber divider between the doors as white doors usually have a white piece installed. He painted it white to match, but he shared that it would chip over time. I would have liked to know that, we could have said something on install day! He completed his job, but shared that he wanted to come back in a few weeks to touch up a few places.
Fast forward a few weeks, he returned to our home and did not remember why he came back. We reminded him that he wanted to touch up a few areas. We thought it was strange that he would suggest returning in a few weeks, only to forget why he wanted to come back. Anyway, he completed the job and the doors looked almost perfect. We asked about the screw covers, and he said he forgot them. Ugh. He left us a small canister of paint for touch ups. Upon closer inspection, I realized he did not use the color I asked him to. He labeled our paint can as one brand, when we specifically asked for a Behr paint color. I admit the color looks fine in our home and I am happy with the final product, but a little communication goes a long way. It is not appropriate to agree on one color, only to use something different without discussing it first. We immediately called Greg after the painter left, who personally delivered the screw covers that afternoon (FINALLY).
This is an unacceptably long account for, what should have been, a fairly simple french door installation. We are flexible, patient, and know that hiccups often occur with home projects. However, this many mistakes suggests the presence of several issues within the company itself. Sadly, I feel that my two star review is fair for our experience.

Desert King helped me design and install a custom ThermaTru front door for my house and I am very satisfied with the outcome.
The sales staff and installers are very professional and courteous. They went above and beyond and installed a smart lock and did a wonderful job with the molding I requested.
Everyone I spoke with is highly attentive and committed to the best customer service, which is often difficult to find in this industry, especially for smaller jobs such as mine.
Looking forward to getting the back door done in the future!

Did the whole deal remotely for a rental I have in Mesa. His price beat the pants off the competition plus Mike's customer service was second to none. Installation went super smooth and he even went back to take pictures of the windows for me since I couldn't be there in person. Financed the windows 18 months same as cash. I even had questions after the install and Mike was quick to answer. Excellent experience, highly recommend them!

Mark and his team were excellent. They were prompt with the appointment time and they did a great job fixing one of our broken window panes on our 1925 house.

From start to finish the salesman Tony was great, the estimator confirming sizes, staff in the office and to the installers Nick, Adam and Carlos were EXCELLENT. We replaced all windows and oversized sliding doors. Tony gave us a great price. The estimator to confirm sizes worked a plan for our renovation to fit perfect into the kitchen, we changed window sizes. The installers arrived early and were very professional, thoroughly cleaned all of their work debris and hauled away everything. I would recommend this company for new or replacement windows. Milgard misread one of the written measurements for a tiny window that came in too big. The installers called it in and before they were finished at our home, the office was already calling to let me know they already reordered the correct size window. Awesome company through and through. Professional

Highly recommend Imperial for window replacement! We replaced all of the windows in our house with Imperial, Jon Uptegrove.
We did it in 4 phases over a year period. I wanted to pay cash and not finance or use credit. Jon was great to work with. He was very responsive and always on time. The product is excellent. The temperature improvement in my east exposure bedrooms is amazingly improved.
Jon gave the perfect recommendation to achieve the desired result in the various rooms with different exposures.
We don't need sunscreens! The windows do it all. And they give our 1980's home an updated look. Couldn't be happier.

This company is amazing! I moved to Phoenix from California about a year ago. I'm in the process of flipping a house in Scottsdale, and since I'm new to the area I needed to find a whole new team of contractors. I am VERY particular about who I use for anything. First, price-wise, Sal's quote was beyond fair. Leaps and bounds less than some other quotes I had received for the exact same product. Additionally, Sal has been an absolute joy to work with. He is incredibly responsive, super personable and easy to collaborate on a project with, and takes the complication out of everything - simple and to the point. No fuss, no surprises - just an honest, authentic, to the point business. Looking forward to bringing Sal, and DunRite, along to my future projects as well. I highly recommend this company.

Sunny State Glass, replaced a shattered Arcadia Door for me. He did an outstanding job, very little disruption of my time and left everything in good order, even cleaned the door in addition to the installed glass. I recommend using this service for any glass need.

This was a 2 part job. It wa a piece of furniture that had an odd design and wasn't a circle, square or rectangle surface. First, Elvis came to measure the top and a week later, Rick and Elvis came to deliver and place the glass on the furniture. They made sure the surface was clean before placing the glass on top. Then they cleaned the glass. The glass fitted the odd shape perfectly. The entire experience was very professional starting with Michelle and then with Elvis and Rick. I highly recommend Dependable Glass.

Pay attention to those multiple 1-star reviews..........there's a reason for them: Lousy customer service!! We set a date and time for Apodaca to come to house and review the work requested. No show. No call. Didn't even answer text message until following day. Said they called several times, and also left a message. BS. There's good companies out there...........this isn't one of them.

Abraham did a great job replacing the non-standard size double pane glass in on of our French doors. He made three trips out to Carefree to provide us with his estimate, get exact measurements for the glass order, and finally for the installation. His estimate was very reasonable and he kept us informed of his progress all the way through the process. I would definitely call Golden Glass and Glazing again for any future glass work I might need.

After calling 3 different glass companies that all gave me a 3-4 week installation date, I stumbled across Tyrone with apple high glass repair. He told me he could have it done in two weeks then turned around and did it in 5 days, the timeline he gave me exceeded expectation. I highly recommend Tyrone for all your glass instillation needs.

*UPDATE: The company has replaced the glass with the thicker 1 inch original thickness and waiving the installation fees, in addition to a full refund. ORIGINAL REVIEW: We just had our front window installed (after a three week delay due to errors in the order) and it was the wrong size. They ground it down and put it in. We were very patient throughout this whole process. However, the installers left without the vinyl window seal lining up correctly - large gaps all the way around the inside and outside of the window (able to easily slide a nickel around in the gaps). When we called to have this fixed we were laughed at by Nick and treated very badly over the phone. After being in contact with the main office, we were informed that Nick was the owner! It was worked out that Nick would come by the house - look it over - and fix the issues. Upon arriving he apologized for his inappropriate behavior over the phone stating is was due to the day he was having. He looked over the window and came to the conclusion that it was our vinyl frame because they took out 1 inch glass and only installed 7/8 inch glass. Unfortunately he also said these things with a very strong attitude and even stated I was being unreasonable. Later the office called and very kindly refunded us the cost of the window.

Great people to work with. Paul is professional, personable and on time. Prices are very competitive. We had skylights and attic insulation installed. And they are completing a small 'Alumawood' pergola. Would definitely recommend!

We had them replace our springs in a window that went bad. They came in with the best price and I scheduled them for a week out. We had a change in our plans and asked them if they could come that day. They called me back and said they will have somebody out within the hour. Fantastic!

Checked the roof and it looks good. The seams around the vents look very watertight. The shingles looks like it's held down tight. They also do wood work. They removed my old, unused swamp cooler and put in an additional wind turbine. They're registered with the state of AZ. They're certified GAF shingles installers if you decide to get GAF shingles. They also finished within 2 days.

After being prompted by a random street walker, I agreed to have someone come out to give an estimate for windows as I was in the market anyways. After several calls to make sure that BOTH my wife and I were going to be there, we established a date and time for the estimate. Initially I was told that we both needed to be there to ensure that no decisions were made without the significant other also liking the product etc. Right.
On the date of the estimate two guys showed up: Trainer/Salesman and trainee. First, the trainer totally removed himself from group conversations to face directly and speak to the trainee. Way too much on the job training. Aren't you here to waste MY time? Secondly, the reason why the company was so in need of my wife to be there is so that the trainer/salesman could use his used car salesman techniques on her. During our consult, this guy started explaining how complicated a job like this is as he listed the countless tools by name to my wife. It was absolutely aparant to both my wife and I that the salesman was attempting to quickly overwhelm my wife with information. However, she knows the difference between single pane and double pane and a cat claw and crowbar...because the salesman made no attempt to explain the difference or what the tools were for or why we would need to reframe....his only effort was in creating an atmosphere of uncertainty...then lets make a deal.
Originally, we allowed the consult because over the phone we were told we lived in a new area where the company could use some homes as marketing tools with a significant discount given to us. After waiting for the salesman to deliver his pitch (and train his trainee) I asked about the deal because he certainly was not going to bring it up. Alas, in order to be part of the deal we would need to spend a bit longer discussing types of windows and, and, and, and....ever sat through a timeshare presentation to get that gift card or free trip? Well, this was that only with less information given, no products shown, no measurements taken, and the tactics of a used car salesman. No offense to used car salesman...you can at least see the product they have to offer.
I have no doubt they have excellent windows and do fine work based on the info from their website. I just expect more from the person sent by the company I am supposed to make a deal with when spending 10-20,000$.
