Best Windows Installations in United States

I looked at a lot of companies and read a lot of reviews.  This company stood out with prompt response and professionalism.  

After recovering from my initial sticker shock of over $1500 higher than some other quotes I got, I decided to use AWDS because I wanted the job done right.  

Big disappointment and I think the pictures speak for themselves.  I was only suppose to do some stucco repair, so I'm not concerned about that, but fit and finish on the exterior is extremely disappointing.  

They said they will fix it once the parts get in but was hoping to get it done before Thanksgiving.  It should have been done right the first time. Its embarrassing to have my friends and family see such shoddy work on the entrance to my home.

We talked to several window replacement companies in the valley and settled on Desert King. The sales pitch was a total speech, which kinda turned me off initially, but we were definitely impressed by the non pushy approach. Yes they're proud of their windows, but they aren't so proud they needed to charge four times more than anyone. We are happy with our windows. The temperature difference is crazy in our 40+ year old home, and we hear less of the neighbors - bonus! It took much longer than they originally stated it would, but there was also a major glass and construction product problem that occurred shortly after we placed our order. The only thing I have a problem is that my slider door doesn't always close and lock the way it should, and the screen doesn't slide smoothly. We would recommend.

Mike was very friendly and got me my quotes quick. He came out and walked me through the whole process and showed me all the windows they have.

My fiance and I moved into our house during the summer. Of course the windows were outdated and we saw value in upgrading to save on energy. We did our research on Yelp. Our top pick was Imperial. After receiving quotes from 4 places, including Imperial, we chose John and his crew. John is a great owner and person. He came out and gave us a quote in the summer when we had no A/C. He gave me the most information and did not up sell us. He gave us well informed options and did not pressure us or talk badly about other companies. His crew came out on a Sunday morning to install because that was what worked best for our schedule. We have had the windows for a few months now and it has made a difference. John and his crew are fantastic. I recommend him to anyone.

Dunrite just installed Andersen 100 windows and a custom ThermaTru door on our home. We are over the moon happy. All of our unique specifications for the door were done absolutely accurately. The install team were right on time and truly the nicest people you will ever meet. They laid plastic over everything even though they were super neat and didn't create any dust. They left our home ss clean as it was before they arrived. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE use Duntite for your window or door needs. You will not be disappointed!

I was mowing my yard on a Sunday and a rock broke my Arcadia door into a MILLION pieces, it was a mess.

I called Sunny State Glass, they came over that day and boarded up the window for the evening, cleaned up the million pieces of glass inside my home and out, then ordered the glass. Within a couple of days the glass was installed and the door was completely repaired, like new. These folks are amazing, the workmanship was truly professional. The quality of the glass and materials was of the highest quality, the customer service was outstanding. They were there for me the day I needed them and they worked around my schedule. To top things off, the price great!

Abraham did a great job replacing the non-standard size double pane glass in on of our French doors.  He made three trips out to Carefree to provide us with his estimate, get exact measurements for the glass order, and finally for the installation.  His estimate was very reasonable and he kept us informed of his progress all the way through the process.  I would definitely call Golden Glass and Glazing again for any future glass work I might need.

Tyrone came out the same day and was prompt and honest. I highly recommend his work and will definitely use his company again in the future!

Very pleased with the results. They replaced a large dual pain window in an upstairs family room. It was a tricky install with them having to walk on a clay tile roof. I was nervous about lots of tiles being cracked. They sent a crew of 3 to do the install and were extremely careful on the tile roof. Only 1 tile was broken and that's not bad at all! These guys did a great job and were very professional. I would recommend them.

I was nervous about getting rain gutters but not ready to face another monsoon season without them.  I wasn't sure they would match my house or if there was even a way to get the water to drain toward the street in stead of flooding my backyard. Paul came out and walked with me around my house. He listened to my concerns and gave me options along with his professional opinion on what would work the best. He even helped me select the perfect colors to match my two-toned home. ECS also has a wonderful office manager who calls to schedule appointments, remind of service dates, etc., and get this... if you call them they either answer the phone or if you leave a message they call back almost immediately.
My work was completed promptly and professionally. I do not think the new gutters detract from the look of my home in any way. For the 1st time since I bought my house 9 years ago I can stay with confidence let it rain!

We had them replace our springs in a window that went bad. They came in with the best price and I scheduled them for a week out. We had a change in our plans and asked them if they could come that day. They called me back and said they will have somebody out within the hour. Fantastic!

Checked the roof and it looks good.   The seams around the vents look very watertight.  The shingles looks like it's held down tight.  They also do wood work.  They removed my old, unused swamp cooler and put in an additional wind turbine.  They're registered with the state of AZ.  They're certified GAF shingles installers if you decide to get GAF shingles.  They also finished within 2 days.

I should have posted this review nearly a month ago as it is well deserved, but forgive me, I've been busy. I'll begin by describing the windows. To be brief, they are fantastic. This house is an older house in Central Phoenix that was built in 1959. The windows were those old timey steel casement crank out style windows. I didn't realize how bad those windows were until the new windows were installed. There used to be areas inside the house that were not functional or usable during the summer months because it was just too hot to be near one of these windows. When the sun came up, it was time to get up and out of bed because my bedroom heated up so rapidly it was impossible to be there. These windows have changed all of that. I won't pretend to understand what magic is happening with these windows, but it is a fact that the light comes through but the heat does not. This house is now a very different environment. There is an outside space, and an inside space, and these windows are the barrier between those two spaces.

As for the crew that showed up to install the windows, it would be impossible to ask for a better experience. There have been many projects at this house in the last few months and this window replacement project was the absolute best experience. These guys clearly knew what they were doing, and they did it quickly, efficiently and with a great deal of skill. It was a pleasure to have them here in my home, they were respectful and careful with my property, and we actually had fun. You really can't ask for more than that in a home renovation project.

Full disclosure, I was considering purchasing some standard Home Depot windows and hiring a contractor to install them. Greg somehow convinced me that was not the way to go. I was skeptical at first, but now that it is all said and done, he was correct. I am very happy and grateful that I invested in these windows. It ain't cheap, but it is worth it.

If Greg shows up at your house with his frames, panes, torches, and heat lamps to demonstrate his windows, stick with it to the end. It will be boring, unless you're a science geek, but in the end it gets interesting.

My neighbors and I have both used Window World for our whole house. My husband and I replaced 6 windows and the back sliding glass door. The crew was on time, very friendly, and very fast. The house is noticeably quieter and cooler with our upgraded windows. My neighbors and my family all agree that they did a great job for a great price. Trying to get him to come measure and it appears he  doesn't want the business. Keeps telling me I'll call you back....call never happens. Either too busy or don't care about more business. Secretary told me I could look somewhere else, since she doesn't know when he will be able to come measure.
