ABC Glass

So stoked, Michelle & Dennis was super helpful. I have a porch light that has 4 panes of 10x12 glass matte finish.
I had been casually looking to repair one of these panes that was broken when I bought the home, thinking it would not be a big deal (wrong! ). I have visited ACE & home Depot after calling numerous places found on the internet, none do a job this small or were auto glass companies.
Finally I called ABC Glass yesterday & spoke with Dennis, he is very helpful & advised me to come by. I mistakenly asked for smoke glassbecause I don't know any better.  The actual glass I needed to match is Matte, this glass is more expensive. Due to my ignorance on the original call I was quoted less, so Michelle asked Dennis to confirm my quote & they honored the price even though it was my fault.
I can just tell you this is AWESOME, they are pleasant & rosie certified. If you need glass cone here.

I was referred to ABC by our contractor to get a quote on a custom glass top for our recently refurbished in-home bar. They were prompt both with the quote and initial appointment. Their price was 40% lower than I got from any other company. In addition, they out performed their time estimate for completion - 2-3 weeks turned out to only be 2-3 days! It was a fantastic experience and I will go back for any of my custom glass needs.

Update. I followed Lori R.'s advice to contact Dennis.
 My Review stands. I think someone is still laughing in the office, at how difficult Dennis made it to give me 10 minutes of my time in person, & getting me to uninstall and reinstall 2 glass panel cupboard doors to inspect. He was actually waiting near the lobby door on my arrival! @ 8a.m. Monday morning, with original rude, scamming salesperson. (She couldn't hardly be bothered with my complaints when I went to pick up the original repair.)
 Dennis gave me a rather complex schedule to find him. Call first I was told. I was there in 10 minutes after reminding him I had talked to him on the previous Friday afternoon.

should be clear at time of purchase. This should be included on the invoice. What I saw was no one trying to order, and grabbing a dusty  left over from in the back.  I believe they pushed off at a great profit , something I am clearly not happy with. I was presented with a dirty chipped repair upon pick up. I was scoffed at when I asked about a warranty , or my satisfaction.

Well, they're a glass company.
We need them to stay in business.
That being said, I think everyone there might need to retire and let some young blood in there.
Why?
The whole office feels hostile while you're there.
There is something on the counter with the ashes of problem customers. on it.
There are signs everywhere talking  about what the company won't do, won't accept, doesn't like, etcetera...
So...I read all the walls and knick knacks while I waited for service. Then I kissed a lot of ass and got my window ordered.
Did the same thing when I went back to get my window.
I don't really want to go back. It's very very very very unwelcoming there.

We didn't even mention that Michelle was pushing another frosted glass that she wanted us to choose right from the beginning. We told her THREE times that we didn't like the one that she tried to push on us. That was our first red flag with ABC Glass.
After checking other glass companies Lori, we found that even your original quote was high at $850.05 w/labor. Then you raised your quote to $993.98.
We received other quotes that are far cheaper for the same thing. See photo below of another company's quote that is nearly half the price.
ABC Glass is pushy, dishonest, and expensive. Not to mention the lies and BS we were handed. Buyer beware with this company.

Contacted them about some work. Woman i spoke with was rude and unprofessional. Probably the office manager. I decided to get estimate elsewhere after being treated so poorly. Good help is hard to find I guess.

Contacted them 2 1/2 months ago.....just found yelp reviews. If I was the rude rep, I'd deny talking to a customer like that!

Had a really great experience with them. Had a couple of post install issues, but Michelle in the office and Dave in the field could not have been more responsive. I am completely satisfied with their services.

Well I was referred to this company by another glass replacement company that does not do second floors. I call and a woman answers and says hello rather short. Not Hello ABC Glass , etc. how can I help you ....and then proceeds rather rudely to say I am with a customer, give me your number and I will call you back after I am done with this customer. Never called me back. Don't think I want to work with a company if this is the way they welcome your call for new business. Shame on you.

Contractors broke my window around noon and ABC had my window ready by 4PM.  Great service and very friendly.  I would recommend their work and they have a onsite glass cutter up until 4pm everyday.

We were having a problem with sliding glass doors.  ABC Glass sent technicians out (twice) to study our problem.  They applied lubricant and made an adjustment, but in the end advised us not to do anything (our doors are just big and heavy).  For all this work, they did not charge us anything.  Thank you Dustin and Justin!

Run!!! I wanted a glass shower enclosure put in my daughters room so I called and booked an estimate- they called me the day of to say the installer was sick - then came out anyway and took measurements. A couple days later they gave me a quote  and told me I had to give them a $500 dollar deposit so I did. Weeks later I was called and was told they were ready to install it. The guy came out and the measurements were off so it didn't get installed- they told me they needed more parts to be ordered and that the first guy got it wrong. I was disappointed but said ok. I was then called a week later and was told - ok this time we are ready to go, so we set a date only to have them call that DAY and push it back again. Then they come out and guess what?!? Yup, wrong again! It didn't fit and now I am beyond annoyed so I call the owner and tell him how I should have to pay for any of the labor just the parts and he pulls funny business and gets an attitude with me, like this is my fault his employees can't do anything right. Long story short - he won't return my deposit and took no responsibility.

Great company! Trustworthy and they do an excellent job. I've used them several times over the years and they're consistently the best!!!

Great glass company. They really seem to care and worked hard to help me with my issue. They helped me save money by instructing me how to remove my window(which was surprisingly easy) and bring it to them which cut my cost and and I needed that. They were much less in cost than the completion and the glass was very high quality and the installation was  perfect.  Thanks!!!!

Initially said would schedule quote. I sent all contact information snd all cut sizes. Then did not even come out to quote. They may be okay for tiny tiny jobs but clearly cannot do anything that is a large project. Owners response was very rude and surprising. Do not recommend. Very disappointing experience.

When I moved into my new home recently, I had a bear of a time finding someone to replace the broken glass of the outer pane on my bathroom window. After trying several window repair companies who told me they don't do glass, several glass companies who said they don't do windows, and one company who does window glass repairs but turned out to be flaky, I finally found ABC. They replaced my window glass today and I am very pleased with the results and the professionalism and reliability of this company. They have a very streamlined process where one person takes the orders and schedules the work, one person handles the payments, one team assesses and measures, and another team installs the new glass. Everyone that I worked with was very professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. I am confident in the work they performed; they explained to me the appropriate type of glass for the job, matched the mullions of my new pane with that of the existing pane, and thoroughly cleaned up after the install to make sure no glass shards were left behind. I will definitely be using ABC again in the future.

Mike was amazing!  He was fast, efficient, extremely friendly and always wore a mask without being asked. I appreciate his professionalism and because of him, I would use ABC in the future.  Thanks Mike!!!

We were moving out of our home to rent it out and as we were cleaning, I accidentally broke the single pane window while washing it. ABC Glass was very friendly on the phone and dispatched a worker the next day!!! The employee they sent out, Mike, was very friendly, worked quickly, and was respectful of our home. I would recommend ABC Glass highly!! Great service. Fast dispatch, and quality work!!

Great place for glass needs. Ordered a piece of glass for my dining room table.  Glass was as promised and was a fair price.

I honestly cannot say enough good things about this business! After chasing down several individual contractors for weeks without any of them getting back to me with so much as an estimate on my small custom job, I was pleasantly surprised when ABC Glass not only followed up, but contacted me within an HOUR of my reaching out to them...not only were they professional and knowledgeable, they finished my project literally WEEKS earlier than originally quoted-- and at a reasonable price!
If I ever have a glass or related project in the future, I won't waste my time-- I will go straight to these guys!!!

I went to ABC glass to order glass to go over my dining room table top (for protection and looks). I have to say the woman at the front counter wasn't particularly friendly, but the gentleman behind the counter was extremely helpful and very knowledgable. He was able to show me exactly what my options were, and even let me take home a sample cut to make sure it was what I really wanted. He recommended having one of their guys come out to measure the table top to ensure the perfect fit - and I'm so glad I did!! Mike did a great job measuring and I'm not sure it would've worked out so well had I measured it myself.

The glass was delivered earlier than expected, and the three guys who came out, Derrick, Mike, and another young man (I didn't catch his name) really went above and beyond. My table has a reclaimed wood top so the surface was a bit uneven. The glass wouldn't sit flat and I was kind of freaking out! But these guys got underneath the table with their tools, and was able to adjust the table top so that it was more level, ensuring the glass was stable, supported, and seated properly. I was so impressed with the level of commitment these guys showed in making sure I was a happy customer. Way to go ABC!!

I did a custom remodel in Scottsdale . I had ABC glass come out to do a custom mirror with the lights on top of the mirror. More than 3 weeks before needing the glass we had them come out and measure and take a deposit. Over $800 for a cool mirror. Expensive but its what I wanted. On the date prior to install they called and said they needed to remeasure and would not make my date. By this point I was living in my house a week already with no lights and no mirror in the master.  I said well if it has to be a 2 step and wait I would just as well get a normal mirror for cheaper as I had a Trip planned and company after. So then they said they could do it all that day . I changed my schedule to accommodate . Then the day came and they moved the whole thing from Friday to Monday. So Monday I was there and waiting and they were unable to make my mirrors work and said they needed weeks more to get it done.
Well I ended up calling back in and was only offered option A cut a plain mirror for the over $400 I paid in advance, wait weeks and hope the other one would be made, or cancel altogether. While the staff was polite and understanding the owner was a an arrogant jerk who does not care about his business and or reputation. I choose the plain mirror for inflated price and they made no effort to care if I was happy. I will wait until I settle in , at least have a mirror and then start over maybe with another glass company to do the mirrors I would like. I would for sure not ever call them again nor recommend. The owner has no concern for his customers happiness or even ratings for that matter as I told him I would review. Maybe he inherited this business ?

Had the worst experience ever with ABC Glass, DO NOT WORK WITH THEM.  we were working on a project opening a new preschool and needed to order acrylic dividers for counter top to divide hand washing sinks.  When my husband went to pick up the order and they charged for the 3 pieces of acrylic was $229 that was a total rip off.  When I asked to talk to the manager about the pricing the manager told him that the price was given over the phone and that was our problem we agreed.  I wouldn't care about paying this price but that didn't even resolve my problem, to complete the job they offered me a solution that would cost me another $700!! Something so simple became outrageously expensive.  Their customer service was disgusting!!! I picked up the order and left, I decided to check around for pricing of the acrylic pieces, I found another company called Diamond Glass and Mirror, very friendly and helpful they helped me to order the right parts to complete the project and they referred me to another company Canyon State Plastic which after helping me cut the pieces to the right size AT NO CHARGE.  I asked them how much they charge for the same acrylic, they said they charged $18 a sheet, so only $51 and the crooks at ABC charged me $229!!
I called ABC talked to Lisa, she remembered me, I asked to speak to the owner and manager and she refused, she said they were not available.  

I guess I lost money from this experience, but mostly this review is due to their POOR customer service and lack of helping us in a time crunch and charging EXCESSIVELY for something.  I get they have to make their money but their is a point where it becomes a straight out crime!  And then deny us the chance to speak to someone in charge.  

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM!

Look no further these guys are the best.  Shower enclosures are crazy-expensive but ABC Glass is very fair-priced and their craftsmanship is outstanding.  From measuring to design selection to install the process was seamless.  Wish I could give them 10 stars.

I can't tell you the quality of their work cause I have not yet hired them but they got me a price quick and were really nice. Update pending.

Cannot say enough good things about this place! So helpful and will go to any lengths to make sure you get what you need! Super kind and dedicated staff.

We have used ABC Glass for a couple different projects and highly recommend them. They are a family owned local business that truly cares about their customers. They helped when we had two cracked windows at a rental house with replacement glass as well as installed shower glass in our home. Both projects went smoothly. Next on the list is window screen replacement. I'll be calling soon ABC Glass- thanks again!!!

I had met the owner from business meetings we both attended but I had never used them. Then one day sombody threw a rock through my office window. It was the week end and I called  ABC. They gave me advice and responded emmidiately. Unfortunatly the building owner wanted to use somebody else and it took several days. In addition the window was not the the right glass the first time. I should have insisted on using ABC.

Go forward a couple of years to a week ago. I broke the glass top on my desk. (No I am not going to tell you how that happend.)  I called and met ABC with a corner from my desk top and measurements. Their office called the next day and asked about what bevel I wanted and some other details. I got the glass today and it is an exact duplicate of the original. It fits perfectly and looks great.

I want to address the price issue because another poster felt ABC might be a little higher priced. Here's the deal. You can shop all day and do internet comparisons and you may find a cheaper provider but in the end isn't it about the quality of the job and the integrity of the people you work with?

If you answered no to that you are making a mistake with your money and your time. ABC did this job perfectly, on time, on budget, at a price well within the market for these jobs.They did not have to do it again and I did not have to return anything. I didn't have to argue about it and everybody I dealt with was pleasant, understandable and intelligent. I have had two car windows replaced in the last year by different companies approved by insurance. In both cases they did not show up on time, made errors (that gooy sealing stuff all over the dash) and didn't  seem to care if I was a customer or not.

Your time is worth something and when you waste time on looking for the cheapest provider you almost guarantee less quality and waste your precious time. Another way to look at that is your time is your life being spent. Do you really want to give up any of your life arguing and searching for cheaper deals? Look for people you can trust who value your life as you do and then use the time you saved taking annoying pictures of your grandkids.

Did you notice that Lori responds to Yelp posts? Both good ones and the ugly ones! How many businesses do you see that do that? It means they care and they pay attention to customers. Do yourself and your life a favor and call them when you break something glass.

Requested a quote for a window replacement in our home and their quote was more than double the other competitors for the same glass.

Great prices and has excellent customer service. We really appreciated all of the staff's help and ABC glass has very fair prices! My mirrors turned out perfect, I highly recommend ABC Glass!

I ordered a glass piece and am extremely satisfied at the cut and quality I was given, when I placed the order over the phone, since this was already something I had ordered before, I was told I would be charged 1/2 to place the order and pay 1/2 when I picked it up, turns out my card was never charged the first time, so to my surprise when I picked up the piece having to pay the full price... dumb! The worst of it all is they just hand you the solid piece of glass... when I asked for cardboard or something . The woman at the front desk informed me they don't do any packing... ummm really?! Your a store full of glass and you aren't going to have enough courtesy to properly wrap the finished product in order to prevent it from breaking?! So now I have to drive to wherever I'm going in hopes that my finished product that I just spent $100 on doesn't not break... thanks ABC Glass you guys are superb...

We just had a very positive experience. They did a custom piece of glass over a serving buffet we bought at IKEA and it came out beautiful. It was ready much quicker than they expected. Not too expensive either.

Great quality products and excellent customer service! I am loving my new windows and sliding glass door! Would highly recommend ABC for ALL things glass!

ABC Glass charged me a restocking fee  even though I used them for 9 glass jobs totaling over $4000.  The restocking fee was actually because the manager did not want to refund onto a credit card and have to pay the card fee.  By the way we used most of the refund on a 9th job and he sent a check as the refund for the balance so he never had to pay that fee anyway.  
What happened is we broke a window at a customers house and called ABC glass just like we had 8 other times.  They got a quote together and ran my card for the total.  After a fee days our customer actually wanted to pay for the new glass because there was not enough proof that my company had actually broke the window in the first place.  So my customer ended up paying for the glass with her credit card and I asked for my card to be refunded.  The Manager said no way, it could only be used as a store credit or he would charge me the card fee of 4% for refunding my credit card.  REALLY!  after all the jobs we had already paid them?  I took the store credit and used most of it for a 9th job.  At that point I took all of ABC's invoices I had and called other glass companies.  I sent over the info on each job and asked for prices from them.  You know what one of the other company send back as quotes for the jobs that ABC had already done?  1/2 price for all but one job!  I couldn't believe it.  I was being charged twice as much money as ABC's competitors and this store manager was going to loose me as a customer over maybe $15 in credit card fees.  I would not recommend ABC glass to anyone after this experience.  I will never go back.  By the way after being in business for 21 years as a landscape maintenance company and having to pay for about 80 broken windows, I am a customer a glass company wants.

I replaced 20 old single pane windows in my house recently.  With tons of choices,I decided to go with ABC Glass.  This company is A+.  Measured and estimated, contract signed, windows ready in 2 weeks.  The install took two days and these guys were total pro's.  They measured perfectly.  The windows are wonderful.  House is super quiet now, no rattles when the doors close anymore.  They open and close so nicely.  It's an amazing window makeover and ABC Glass Co did an over the top job with the entire process.  Thinking about new windows or shower door, or whatever in the glass world......you should use ABC Glass.  You will be thrilled with their work and quality.  Just Awesome!

Had a great experience with ABC Glass. They were honest, fair and provided great quality work. They were able to match my existing windows with replacements that were perfect. The installers arrived on time and performed with experience and skill. They also left the job site clean. We  were so pleased with the work performed in our home that my husband recently contracted with them to build-out the new office space for his company.
