Precision Fit Doors and Windows

The short version is that they came to evaluate my front door, and ended up fixing it on the spot.  So far (it's been over a week now) the door is closing better, more easily.  Really 4.5 stars.  There was some difficultly with communication that required some persistence on my part.  But that only rates a 1/2 star reduction because he did eventually schedule me in.

The long version follows:

We have had problems with the front door for some time.  And it seemed to be getting worse over the years.  We had someone out several years ago, and they only put additional stripping on the jamb.  This year the door sweep appeared to be wearing out (again), and the new one didn't want to mount (it was too thick).  Checking reviews I called Precision Fit (Jason).

After a few fumbled communications, Jason put me in his calendar.  From then on the communication was good.  He showed up to evaluate my door.  I had sent him photos, and he thought he might have to remove the entire door frame and redo it.  But he wanted to see it for himself, and was going to be in the area.  To my surprise, when he showed up he said something along the lines of I can do this now.  Next thing I know he's moved the hinges, and shimmed a bit, and replaced the weather stripping, and even lowered the threshold so the sweep doesn't drag so much.  Plus he drove longer screws into the frame to hold the hinges better.

When he was done the door opened and closed better, and there were no light leaks around the door.  Previously what clued me in to the problem was light leaks both at the top-left and lower-right of the door.  Those are now gone.  And he didn't have to rip the frame out.  He still could have done that, and I wouldn't have known that it wasn't necessary.  But he spent about 1-2 hours, fixed the problem, and saved me money compared to the more expensive procedure of remounting a door frame.

So I recommend this service.  They are honest and only do the work that is needed, and they appear to do it right.

Post-script:
It turns out that I called Precision Fit six years ago, but it wasn't Jason then.  I remember a middle-aged man who didn't really impress me.  He's the one who added thicker weather stripping and said not much else could be done.  Jason proved him wrong.

Check out this beautiful front door installed today.  Super experience and such a huge improvement on the 50 year old door.  Much more curb appeal and Jason and partner are super nice.

Overall we had a good experience working with Jason, getting a new French door installed, and a second bedroom door painted. We received the run around from other companies. But, Jason was very professional and got the job done. It did take some time to get the door installed but that's because it needed to be special ordered due to the size of the entranceway. My wife and I are very happy with the work done by Jason and his crew. It was worth the wait. They were able to arrive a few days earlier than expected and completed all the work in about 4 hours. Keep up the great work!

I needed to replace the front door of my 50+ year old house.  I interviewed several contractors and was most impressed with Jason.  His pricing was fair, he was clearly very knowledgeable and experienced.  He walked me through the process, clearly communicated and helped me (with great patience) to select my door and the hardware.  Installation was flawless.  He and his brother did an outstanding job.  I do not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a quality product and a reasonable price.  Thank you Jason!

Very impressed with the professional work done by Jason and his crew! The customer service and billing was painless. Jason came and took measurements promptly and provided a reasonable quote. Even though it took a long time for me to get the HOA approval and proceed with changing out the door, Jason was right on time with the installation and kept me updated when there was a slight delay with the delivery. The installation was done professionally and Mark/Andrew took care to leave the exterior and interior clean and neat. When the exterior stucco paint they had applied didn't match the rest of the wall, they even made an extra trip to get the right paint and finish the job.

Jason replaced a door on my rental. I live in California and he assisted by sending pics along the way. He has good taste in design and does an amazing and professional job. A year and a half later, my tenant moved out and I noticed the door sagging slightly. I called him and he was out shortly after and promptly fixed it with a smile. I called and left a message as well as contacted Jason through Yelp on Saturday and he was at my house by 11am the following Monday and every issue I had with my doors were corrected by Wednesday morning that same week.  It would've been done by Tuesday but we were unavailable.  
The prices are more than fair and I cannot be happier with the service.  Jason far exceeded my expectations and I would recommend him for any and every door service you need done.

Contacted Jason about a new side door from the garage.  Saw the ratings he had from Yelp customers.  He requested pictures of the door via email to provide a ball-park estimate since he charges $35 fee to come out (applys cost to repair or new door).  Jason provided me a quick estimate the next day.  We discussed estimate and scheduled a measure for the replacement door.  Jason showed up on time and we discussed the job a bit more to finalize the details.  A revised estimate was sent to me by email later that day and I went to Jason's north valley location and paid 1/2 down a few days later.

Less than 2 weeks we scheduled install and I have a new side door on my garage; Fiberglass door and frame, very nice and weather proof.  Also added a security plate and bull nose to the door and its really nice.  The installers also fixed/adjusted the door from the garage into the laundry that was not squared up.  They moved the hinges, added a new sweep, and the door opens and closes so smoothly now.  I would recommend Precision Fit for new doors and adjusting existing doors.  Great job and the new door looks awesome!

I did not end up needing Precision Fit's services, but I am reviewing them based upon the outstanding customer service that I received from Jason. We moved into a house that leaks water in through the windows and door of a newly added on room during hard rain, and we didn't know what to do about it. I found Precision Fit online and emailed them regarding our issues. Jason responded right away, asked me questions and had me send him pictures. He told me about his experience with other homeowners not having a proper overhang for the windows and doors to keep the water out. He went above and beyond and even referred me to some architects that might be able to help us with this issue. I really appreciate great customer service like this, and I will definitely be calling them again if I need any window or door services in the future. A+!

After they contacted me and informed me that the door had a 3 year warranty on it and offered to fix it the door was replaced.  I am now a happy customer. It fits, looks great and works wonderfully. Good customer service !

I am giving one star because after several attempts to reach and schedule a meeting with a Jason I never received any follow up and my door is still in need of replacement/repair.  This experience gives the good phoenix contractors a bad name.

We found Precision Doors & Jason from looking at Yelp reviews in the first place! His company had such high ratings and all of the reviews seemed detailed and genuine. So much that I knew this was where we needed to go. Our front door is large and very old-- or I should say it was old! It is now brand new, beautiful and exactly what we envisioned.

Because of how old our door was, the installation was complicated and involved partially re-building the frame as well as re-installing tile work in our front entry way.  Jason's team handled it all and it all came out beautifully.  Our house was restored to its original condition; you would never know that so much extra work was involved in the swapping of the old door to the new!

When we went to Jason at his show room he showed us catalogs and different staining options for the color of the door. The color that we picked out is exactly what we got.. We could not be happier with that.  He even took the time to come out to our house and match our exterior paint in order to repaint the outer frame of the door to match the house, so you would never know it was repainted!

After we left the showroom we were indecisive and asked to look at door options online and he provided us with the online catalogs so that we could take our time and be as picky as we wanted :-)

We ended up getting the exact door we wanted. The install job was excellent and we could not be happier. It is clear that you are working with professionals when you work with this company.  The price was fair for a quality job! Would certainly go back to this company for work in the future. We would absolutely recommend them! (Especially if you have a large or difficult install-- you want people who know what they are doing when they are re-buliding, re-painting, re-tiling!!!)

Precision Fit replaced our 20+ year our old southern-facing wooden front door with a sturdy composite door. Jason was incredibly helpful in deciding on the new door, especially since it seemed our old door was a non-standard size and needed a refit. He assisted us through many choices and we agreed on a single door with a single side light. The stain choice we made worked very nicely. Mark and Andrew did a great job with the installation and worked closely with us on the surrounding tile, grout, stucco, and paint. Definitely recommend Precision Fit.

Working with Jason was a breath of fresh air . The professionalism and integrity of what the business provides is second to none. We had an arched door that needed replacing due to water damage and I got just what we needed at a reasonable price . When the installation was happening , the installers took the time to perfect in the framing and alignment , no damage to anything surrounding the door . The guys had to work around heavy duty security gate and I'm sure t wasn't easy. The door is beautiful and I couldn't be more happy with the end result .

My experience with this company was great! We have an old house built in 1956. Although the inside has been renovated, for some reason the flippers did not update the original entry door. The door fit extremely poorly into the frame leaving gaps all over the place, would barely close, and definitely wouldn't lock well. I knew the installation of a new door / frame would be complicated as the original bricks of the home are VERY crumbly (as we found out getting exterior shutters installed). I wanted to make sure we picked a company who knew exactly what they were doing. Jason was great coming out and giving us a quote, providing us with an extensive magazine to choose a door from, and also helped us with the door hardware. His quote for a brand new door, entirely new hardware (handles, knocker, peephole, kickplate, etc.), and new framing with labor was very reasonable and fair. I could tell from meeting Jason he knew what he was talking about. The installation of the entirely new frame and door went smoothly despite the crumbling brick, which Jason's guys handled seemingly with ease (although I'm sure it was a nightmare!). His guys even cleaned my floor with a mop and cleaner since dust was everywhere without me asking. They left everything very clean. We now have a beautiful door that is fit to the frame like a glove. Excellent installation and quality! The night of the day we got everything installed Jason gave me a call to ensure everything went well and that I was happy with everything. Couldn't be happier!

Jason was very professional, on time, very competitive with his quote, and replaced it very quickly.  They cleaned up so well, you wouldn't have known it ever broke.  I am very pleased that I chose them and will definitely be calling on them again in the future.  Thank you Precision Fit & Jason!! :)

Edited review to respond to lying owner in attempt to ripoff future clients. No one should ever pay you for an install to screw in hinges and place on the frames, you really ripoff people if you actually recommend for you to screw in a door. Probably the only way you make a living. If it was measured correctly it wouldn't be an issue. What's your response to the astragal on the wrong side and the latch not even drilled? And having THE EXACT door to COPY? Telling him that this is f*****g mediocrity. Those are big boy words and if you can't handle them then don't call a customer a liar and FIX the issue.  Attached is a picture proving his response a lie, asking for my address which I would never give to a liar. Also attached are pictures of his failure to fix the issue.

Would NEVER recommend this thief. Nothing precision about this man. He doesn't care at all, apparently I was just a 300 dollar customer. I don't leave bad reviews but this man deserves every word. Also the reviews he has are prob his family and friends. DO NOT TRUST! Door didn't fit after I spent hours painting the door trusting his reviews. Most annoying was that the astragal for a double door was on the wrong side like an amateur, so even if the measurement was correct the door was facing the wrong way. Also didn't have a cut for the latch of the other door to connect. Total lack of attention to detail. He even had the other door to copy!

I call to communicate my frustration that he didn't measure correctly, Jason argued it was my fault and that I should have had it installed by him which would make no difference since he measured the door and would have the same issue as I did. He offered to fix it by cutting into the door to put the hinge in the correct place and switching the astragal to the other side drilling a door latch and painting it. Because I don't have time to fight, I agreed like an idiot. I came to pick up the door and my previous paint job had been ruined and he only painted the astragal. He specifically said in text that he would paint the door, yet he only painted the part he ripped off and flipped around. Over a half gallon of my paint was used to paint a 6ft by 1 inch strip to, I wonder where it all went. COMPLETE mediocrity.

I went to reinstall the door and it still does not measure correctly and the lock mechanism doesn't even fit in the hole to keep door shut I had to re drill. Complete junk work.

Prior to receiving the door the experience was trash, he made me measure the door and send pictures to his cell phone with no response for three days, then he makes me bring the door in to the office which completely wasted my time to send him all the information. I had to call and follow up three times to get pricing on the door. He even asked for my credit card without a quote! When walking into the very small office no one greets you or shows any respect. He said he didn't care about the 1 star I was gonna leave him, so here you go Jason. I hope this helps steer potential customers away from you. This little boy deserves to stay in the hole that he operated out of. Good luck punk your lucky the law protects you from the way real men handle dishonesty and defamation.

Precision Fit Doors and Windows is a great company, with super customer service and a high quality product. When we were getting estimates for new double front doors, my husband and I were impressed by the detailed estimate that Jason, the owner, submitted, plus the price was very competitive with others.  He came to our home, and was knowledgeable about the type of rustic, wooden doors we preferred. He was able to include all the specific hardware and touches we desired. Mark and Andrew were the installers, and they were friendly, professional, and perfectionists. We love our new front doors, and highly recommend Jason and his crew!

I chose this company because of its Yelp rating.  Now that I've had my own negative experience and had a chance to read the other negative reviews, I see I'm not the only one who's had this issue.

In response to an internet contact I initiated for a quote, Jason called me.  We went over my needs, he asked questions, I gave answers, he ultimately said he'd write up a quote and send it to my email address.  Several days later, I still hadn't heard back, so I contacted him again.  He had no recollection of me at all.  Certainly no recollection of our conversation.  This was a conversation HE initiated.  He called me.  In the later phone call, he said he couldn't write anything down because he was in the car.  Ok, then why call me from the car?  Why, even if he made an error in doing so, didn't he then say that he was in the car and would have to get back to me?  Why go through a whole conversation, ask a litany of questions, SAY he'd email the quote if he wasn't writing a word down?  Now, I'm glad he doesn't write in the car.  It would've been nice for him to not, then, try to conduct business from it.  

As someone who's dad is a contractor and business owner, I don't make phone calls to others in the same position, because I don't want to catch them working and make them scramble to take my information while on a job or otherwise unable to do so.  Again, I didn't make the phone call.  I did answer a phone call, answer questions, accept his word that he'd get me the quote.  

When I left a negative FB review, he then commented that my review had to do with the cost of the quote he did end up getting me after all this.  Now, now, Jason, don't try to make it look like it was anything other than your mistake, your poor choices that caused the review and me choosing to go elsewhere with my business.  Accept responsibility for the foul up.  Mistakes happen.  That's OK.  Trying to shift blame is not.

We also had a positive experience with Precision Fit Door and Window. We called to get an estimate on a new exterior door and also new windows.

Jason was quick to respond to our initial call and had great information to share about various future products (adjusting patio screen door, painting tips...etc). All through the process of working with him, he was in constant communication with us. I appreciated his timely response to any questions/concerns we had.

Although we only elected to replace the exterior door, we will keep Jason in mind for future projects. Excellent communication and quality customer care.

Exceptional experience working with this business. Jason is a great and his crew professional and left their work areas clean, 5 windows and sliding door look awesome. My only issue is that i wish we wouldve found them sooner as we were given the run around by other companies and ultimately had been shopping around for 3 months but within around 3 weeks from initial contact to today its all done. Over all we are super satisfied with the front door and sliding door wall we received. The price was fair and the finished products are beautiful. Our doors were a train wreck to begin with, needless to say I was crying tears of joy when I was able to shut our front door and not see any light shining around the seams.

Jason and the team were quick, clean and respectful of our home during the installation. My only comment would be the install took several visits, and though he set up a tentative time to come back and complete the project (multiple times), often times that date/time would roll around without so much as a phone call or text from him to let me know they were on their way or had to reschedule (which is what happened twice.).That's unfortunate because I took work off to meet them, only to be disappointed when they no call no showed.  They seemed spread thin, it's good to be busy but without proper communication that could be a problem in the future for their business model.

Of course, eventually (2weeks from start of project to completion) it's all good and done, and we are super happy with the doors. The solar tinted sliding glass doors are a must!

Jason and his crew arrived on the day and time as promised. I had two door alignment issues, one of which was a little tricky, and they handled them nicely, quickly, and cleaned up afterwards. Our front door no longer has a daylight gap or wind blowing through between the door and casing. I'd happily call upon them again.

I can't recommend Jason enough. He's responsive, on-time, professional, and the kind of person you want to work with.

Despite changing the scope of the work and asking him to estimate a job twice, Jason was accommodating throughout. This is in stark contrast to some of the other contractors I had estimating the job.

I really enjoyed talking with Jason and setting up our appointment.  The crew did a perfect job of installing the new rollers on my large sliding door.  The clean-up was okay, thank goodness for my wife who did an extra fine job of cleaning the old grease out of the track.  I would highly recommend Precision Fit to do any and all door/window work you might have!

Precision Fit Doors did a great job on my door. They were on-time, professional and were very friendly. The door fits perfectly into the frame, now and my wife and I no longer have to put all of our body weight into closing it! Thanks Jason and crew!

So I have used this company a couple times and with a big decision I picked them over several companies especially the big companies like Lowe's and Home Depot could not compare to the quote and service I got from Precision Fit Doors and Windows. This price and install was higher then the some others but that install was done the way I wanted to match what my older sliding door had and not done shitty exterior wood trim to be lazy and they have an great stucco guy they used. My extras cost was used to perfection with a much higher quality door and much more secure sliding door. It has the extra Cali standards for two locking mechanisms as well as with that a front mounted pins that go into the top and bottom frame lock pins as well as as rear frame locking pins with its own top and bottom in-frame so the door is super secured at night which also allows you to have the door open a few inches and the rear locks engaged for nice AZ spring and winter weather to let air flow.

Jason was super flexible on getting measurements scheduled, then actually managed to get our replacement door earlier than expected (which was nice because we are trying to list our house). The crew that came out with the door was courteous and efficient. I would use Precision Fit again.

I was shopping for window companies on Yelp and came across precision fit door and Windows. This company offers vinyl Windows by Simonton and this was just the brand I wanted in my home. Simonton brand Windows offer double lifetime warranties that is transferable if you sell your home like we plan to do in the next few years. Going from the Aluminum single pane Windows we currently have to these vinyl Windows has made a dramatic change in the comfort to our family room and bedrooms, we have no more drafts or dust on our window sills and the heat that used to come in is cut down drastically that is huge for us. We couldn't be happier with the work Jasons guys did on installing the new Windows, they took their time putting the windows in right and cleaned up all their mess. Highly recommending them for anyone looking for windows or doors!

We had a pane completely fracture in one of our back door windows and thought we needed to just replace the window but, unfortunately, it is a fiberglass door and the entire thing needed to be replaced.  Jason not only replaced the door, but painted it, re-hung the blinds, and re-installed the security.  When the paint code I provided proved to be the wrong color, he was all set to take care of correcting it himself.  He also noticed our door strikes weren't adequate and offered to fix those as well!!!

This little company provides BIG customer service!  They also do more than doors and windows so we're going to get an estimate from them for some floor tile work next.  I like to have good people I can call on that I can trust to do quality work.  This company is now on my list!

I wanted the opportunity to work with them based on all the positive reviews, but I just don't think they wanted the job. Jason did respond relatively quickly for my bid request to replace a simple plain steel exterior door in our laundry room. I explained before he came out that I was just looking to replace the door and frame with the same type that was installed. He came out to measure and said he would email the bid. We did eventually get the bid (a week later) but in a lump astronomical price with no breakdown of the charges. A fiberglass replacement door was quoted not a steel like requested. I responded back asking for clarifications on my concerns with no response or follow-up.

Jason and his team installed two front doors for my home built in 1925. He inspected the existing frame to measurement and noticed it needed better support before installation. He connected me to the right people for the job. Thankful he took careful consideration of what needed to be done to make this project sustainable and successful. Once the extra support was installed his team worked hard to install the doors. Everyone was professional and kind. The doors are amazing! They paid extra detail to the era of my home, making the door frame look original. Happy customer who now has new front doors that will carry the home to another 100 years!

I'm in process of giving my house a badly needed exterior face lift, starting with a new front door. Previous door companies I've used are nowhere to be found, and I can't get the specific door style I want through Big Box retailers like Home Depot and Lowe's.

I noticed Precision Fit on Yelp based on their positive reviews and I'm so glad I called. Jason and his installation crew were a pleasure to work with - they provided excellent service and the end result is exactly as I imagined. I can't thank Jason enough for helping me realize my vision - the neighbors are totally jealous!

If you are looking to replace doors and windows this is the place to call !  Professional, punctual and patient. Arrived at the time promised with the product promised. Installed in the time frame promised even during a monsoon storm.

After spending time shopping at the big home improvement stores, I did a little research on the door brand they were trying to sell me and the installation subcontractors they use.  Needless to say... I decided to look elsewhere and I'm glad I did.

Precision Fit Door and Window was professional, knowledgeable, responsive and very detail oriented.  They took the time to make sure the install was done right and looked great. I was so pleased with their work; I have recommended them to my niece.

All the 5 star reviews must be from everyone on Jason's FaceBook page. Tried to get quotes for a fairly expensive project but was told $100 for a quote unless I did all the quote prep. Run away. Read the reviews that are less than 5 stars. I'm sure I'll get a lame reply.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I don't know how this company has such good reviews. I wish I could review the work but they never showed up to do the work. I spoke with Jayson to have a new door installed on a home and he said he would go out to the house the next day and email me the estimate. After waiting three days and not getting any email I called Jason and asked what happened and he laughed and said oh ya I never made it out to that home.

This is not a professional company and you should stay away from them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We purchased new windows from Jason at Precision Fit.
As one would expect we were aware the project would be expensive therefore we researched the project with several manufactures.  Price actually became an X factor; Why?  During our meeting Jason actually suggested that we downsize the scope of the project. (I was shocked at his honesty). The decision to work with Jason was made within seconds of this comment!  He listened to our comments/goals and actually sold us on using aluminum frame windows vs. vinyl or composite frames in spite of all the TV advertising.   Best material for the Phoenix climate.  Regarding the installation.  The job itself required a lot of work over several days. We had a couple of minor concerns when the job was completed. All were addressed quickly. In addition to replacing two large windows, his team replaced the glass in one of our windows. The glass had failed (Inside spots and lost of the argon gas) In our research we learned the window technology has improved since our home was built 12 years ago). His team installed the new glass; terrific work and follow up.  

To sum up our experience with Jason and his small company. Jason and his team exceeded our expectations.

I am thoroughly impression with Precision Fit Glass! We had a small job to cut some glass for a new piece of furniture. Everything from the initial appointment to the delivery of the final product was perfect. Appointments & delivery were on time and final product is exactly what we wanted. We felt prices were fair. We bought a new home and needed to replace the front door. Jason did a great job, walking us through the different options, measuring and ordering a new door and installing (all custom sizing since we had an irregularly sized doorway). New door looks great, very positive experience overall. Also, Jason is very responsive via email/phone, which was not the case with other door contractors that we talked with initially. Highly recommend and we will call Precision Fit again if we decide to replace any more doors.

My wife and I had recently decided to get rid of our sliding back patio door and replace it with French doors. We spoke to a few people and decided to give Precision Fit a call. Jason soon came out and met with us to discuss our plans for the sliding back door. We went over details that we were wanting in a door (between glass blinds being a must!) and the other things that we were wanting. He spent time going over options such as what the different manufacturers offered and the styles and features of each. We chose our doors and the features we wanted and Jason was patient and helpful through the entire process.
When the doors came in, Jason worked with us to schedule a time for installation. The process went quickly and smoothly and the results are outstanding! Gone is the noisy, sticking sliding door and in its place are our new French doors. Jason took his time with the installation making sure that everything was perfect and that there were no surprises during the install. The wife is ecstatic with the results and I am very pleased with the attention to detail that went into the installation. If we ever need door or window work in the future, Precision Fit will be the company we contact.

I called regarding a quote to fix the glass on a sliding glass door.  I was in a time crunch and the distance of my property was going to be a problem, so ultimately, I had to go with another company.  I am giving the business 5 stars because of the honest and helpful information I received from Jason.  He took time out of his day to speak with me even though it was clear I wasn't going to be able to work with the business this time around.

After the major rainstorms of this year. We found out that our that are French doors that were installed by the previous owner had been installed incorrectly and leaked. So we called up Percision fit windows and Jason came right up to our house to discuss our options. Because of the location of the French doors we decided to switch it out with a vinyl slider. Jason and his crew worked very fast and for the scope of work they did had absolutely no mess left behind. My experience with precision fit windows has been absolutely a great one and I highly suggest this company to anyone.

Great working with Jason and his team! He helped us figure out ways to save on the estimate when it got a little out of our price range.  He was communicative over email and phone throughout the entire process.  His team was professional and trustworthy and we couldn't be happier with the outcome!

Our windows were a mess. Couldn't open them, they made rooms hot on a cold day and even hotter on a hot day. Jason professionally and promptly gave us and estimate for replacement windows. After shopping multiple vendors, we went with Precision Fit because I trusted that he really knew what he was talking about. My windows are now in and what a difference it has made. His installers were professional and efficient cleaning up as they went. We still need to do the same for our first floor and I won't hesitate to call Jason.

I really wish I could give Precision Fit Doors... (Jason is the owner/operator) MORE than 5 stars. I called him on Wednesday and he came to my house the same day - and it wasn't even an emergency! This was after I called Home Depot and was told it would be a minimum of 3 weeks for a new door... Apparently, Home Depot subs out their jobs (after taking their cut) and then a lot of the time those subs (after taking their cut ) - well - then they too sub out the job yet again! In other words, you have no idea who is doing your door...
Anyway, I wanted to buy a new, upgraded, sliding screen door because mine was a disaster. Jason drove a loooong way to get to my house and then informed me my door was a Milgard (already an upgraded version) and said he could repair it for a lot less. He didn't mean just replacing the screen either, he also removed the beat up, old plastic wheels and put long-lasting, steel ones on. He also fixed the lock and he put the door back in and it is fantastic! It slides so easily and looks brand new! I really couldn't be happier. Amazingly, the door was installed by Friday, only 3 days total waiting time! One more thing - not many business owners are honest enough to under-sell themselves. Jason also is friendly, neat, respectful and is determined to make his customers happy. He is a finish carpenter and can even retro fit bigger doors/windows, etc. into smaller spaces (wow) and all kinds of other interesting things. Hey Jason - I'm giving you 10 stars!!!

We had a sliding glass door come out of the frame and we found Precision Fit on Yelp.  They were able to come out on short notice to fix it and for a fair price.  I highly recommend Jason and him team.

These guys do incredible work as you will quickly learn when you walk into the front office. Unfortunately all I needed was a new front door which they installed and it looks great. Maybe the next time I will have something more significant for them to work on. It was great to work with a small company and not feel like I was being taken advantage of.

My wife and I were looking for a new front door when I found the reviews on precision fit. I stopped by to look at doors at their showroom. I found what we were looking for. Jason was at our house within the hour measuring for install. We showed Jason a picture of the stain, color and texture we wanted. Our door looks like he went out and got the door from the picture. They could not have done it any better. The install was just as impressive. These guys go out of their way to do things right. You always want a perfectionist working on you home... These guys are exactly that.

We bought an older home and our doors were in horrible condition. We had Precision Fit do a custom sliding patio door to our backyard that is so wonderful! It helped reduce cooling costs and it changed the whole appearance of the back of our home and our back yard. Since we were so happy with the work that was done on the back door, we had them replace our front door as well. The customer service and professionalism was top notch! Jason knew exactly what to do with both of our awkward door spaces and recommended the best doors for the situation. We could not be happier!!!!

Precision Fit Doors and Windows is a great business!  We contacted Jason to get some work done on our custom home radial arched door and jamb.  He was able to accommodate us within a day!  He is very communicative , knowledgeable, and great at keeping his word.  The two gentlemen that arrived to work on our door were very professional and interested in making certain we were pleased with what they were planning to do.  They did an amazing job on repairing the jamb and refinishing the wood!  It looks brand new!  I would not hesitate one moment to have this company repair or replace my doors or windows.  The quality of their work speaks for itself.  Give them a try-- you won't be disappointed!

If you need new windows, this is your best bet!  They were recommended by our realtor when we bought our 20 year old townhouse, which was in dire need of new windows.  Jason was great to work with, kept us up to date on installation, answered any questions promptly and with courtesy.  The installers, Mark and Andrew, did a great job of fitting the new windows into the openings, were very detail oriented, and did an excellent job.  The new windows look beautiful and feel so much better insulated than the originals, we couldn't be more pleased with the outcome and recommend this company to anyone looking for quality and service.

Any bad review on this person or business needs to be ignored. No one is perfect and mixups happen to all of us. He makes everything 100% right and takes old style pride in his work and word.He is honest and keeps his word! Hands down one of the top door installation crews in the state of Arizona. If you are looking for quality, dependability, honesty, fair pricing and communication then look no further. We used JASON and crew to install a $4,000 dollar front door installation at a greatly reduced price and the home has a million dollar front door look. Great paint job and great stain job and full clean up. The recommended enter hardware by enter by Jason looked better on the door and was high quality.dont take chances, don't be sorry. We were out in Maricopa and Jason was the one with the skill and the know how not to rip out the 2 yr old new door frame and save us money and every one else was afraid to do what he did because they couldn't..Need I say more? If you hire anyone else you will pay more and you won't get the best. Enough said!. If he doesn't come call back and wait for a new appointment. Which one of us has never missed an appointment by accident?????. He's a great guy be glad you found him!!!!!

I had a great experience with Jason and Dan, they were incredibly friendly and personable. They provided a quick quote and drawings and I felt very confident they really cared about my project. The work they did in my kitchen, walk-in closet and laundry room was great, they really went the extra mile and provided updates throughout the project. They were easy to reach when I had questions, and although they exceeded their timeline by a few days I was really happy with the finished project. Their prices are competitive and I will absolutely use them again for future projects in my home.

Stopped by their business on my way home from work since I work nearby.  They were all locked up before the end of the scheduled business day posted hours (4pm). The lady who was there was shocked to see an actual customer and unable to answer any questions and asked me what do you want instead of how may I help you. I said I would return another day and came by again an earlier afternoon to only be greeted by another rude lady that seemed very upset again to have a live person at the door and said you should have called. Geez. Sorry for trying to ask some simple questions about their cabinets and doors in person, didn't realize that having customers was such a huge inconvenience for them....really didn't appreciate the attitude either. I tried to make an appointment but they said they were extremely busy and couldn't sit down and talk with me for several weeks. Looks like they don't need and won't be getting my business. Moving on....

My wife and I were shopping for a replacement front door for our home and we came across this business and Jason responded to our request for a quote rather quickly. We wanted a castle looking door to replace the pineapple pine door the builder put in, and selected and styled a door while he was at the shop. Most of the doors he offers are fiberglass, but look like real wood. However, we didn't stop there, but went by his shop to see some of the products and work he had done. There, we changed to real wood; a knotty alder wood door that had to be custom made and ordered from overseas. Instead of the 4-6 week normal time, it took closer to ten weeks. But WOW, it was worth it. They just finished the final touchup and the work and installation is first class. This is NOT a cheap project, but on the other hand, we are treating it like adding a work of art to our home. Don't expect quick, and don't expect cheap but DO expect quality and beauty. Highly recommended.

We had to order and install 3 large new windows for our kitchen. Two of the windows had to be shorter than their old counterparts, and one window had to be larger because we gutted the kitchen and the old window sizes were completely wrong for the space. Precision Fit came out to measure and assess the situation. Even though our house is a single story, it was a very tough job because the windows are all at a two-story level (the lot slopes from high on one side to low on that side of the house) and it involved cutting through very thick stucco. Jason ordered the perfect windows: the first is a picture (fixed) window with 2 side casements, the second is a large gliding window, and the third is a single-hung (up and down). I almost ordered the wrong casement sizes until Jason told me that the proportions would look better with wider casements than with the dimensions I had originally imagined. I am so glad I went with his recommendation! All the windows look great proportionally, exactly the way I wanted. We ordered the Simonton brand windows, and I must say, they are better looking and feel more solid than the other new windows that we had installed last year by another local company---before we were lucky enough to find Precision Fit. I wish Jason and Rob had installed all of our windows, but I didn't know them at that time. What a difference! Dealing with Jason and Rob was such a pleasure compared to that other window company. I am really happy that we found them. In fact the other window company only ordered the windows, and then we had to find an installer to do the job. Precision Fit did everything! They measured, ordered, and installed. Initially, we actually came to Precision Fit to install a new front entry door. The window job was only added on. Our entry door is coming next---can't wait! Jason ordered it along with the new hardware, and Jason and Rob will be staining it and installing it soon. That will be a big job too because we are going from a 6'9 door with a transom and sidelights to an 8' door with sidelights, no transom. It is extremely difficult to find good work by contractors these days, so finding this company was very lucky for us. Thanks for doing great work, Precision Fit! We are very thankful.
