Established in 1985.
We started in 1985 operating under the name of Johannessen Plumbing & Heating, Inc. In 2011 Chad Andersen purchased the business from the Johannessen family after working for them for a number of years. 2021 we are celebrating our 10th anniversary as Andersen Plumbing!
ABOUT BUSINESS OWNER
Chad has been a licensed plumber for almost 20 years. Prior to that he was always interested in the mechanics of things. Always tearing apart and building things. If it had nuts and bolts, chances are he was trying to figure out how it came apart and went back together, He has a background in residential construction (track housing to high end homes) as well as spending a bit of time in commercial construction as well. I woke up to gas leaks this AM and was shut off by Nicor until they were repaired. I contacted Andersen's after none of my local plumbers out here in the cornfields could had time for me. Erin was very understanding and asked if she could have a few minutes to see if she could rearrange schedules and get someone out to me. Within minutes, I got a call back from Erin to let me know that Gabe would be here in just a couple hours. Gabe, very personable and a true professional who explained what he was going to do and had it knocked out in a very short time. They have won me over and are going to be my go to from now on. I highly recommend Andersen's.

I can't say enough positive things about Mario, who has done numerous jobs for us, both at our home and at our rental properties. Like always, he gets the job done, is friendly & respectful and is one of my favorites.

I called and they took care of everything from calling the city to have them come turn it off, to getting someone there same day, and telling us what to buy for replacement. Have came and did a great job installing and then the next day, we still didn't have hot water so I called and Jason walked us through restarting our hot water heater over the phone. My second floor bathroom shower valve was leaking after twenty years of wear and tear. Jason and his partner David were very knowledgeable and professional in in assessing what the job would require to sucessfully complete the repair or replacement of the valve.
Jason determined that the delta cartridge would only require replacement not the valve itself. The job was performed in a professional and timely manner! Thank you Anderson plumbing as a prevouis quote from another company would have cost me $1,900 to replace a valve that wasn't necessary.

We had a bit of an emergency at the house because we didn't know where the shutoff was and I was in the hospital so I couldn't help. I called and they took care of everything from calling the city to have them come turn it off, to getting someone there same day, and telling us what to buy for replacement. Have came and did a great job installing and then the next day, we still didn't have hot water so I called and Jason walked us through restarting our hot water heater over the phone. Great customer service and attention to detail!! Thank you!

My second floor bathroom shower valve was leaking after twenty years of wear and tear. Jason and his partner David were very knowledgeable and professional in in assessing what the job would require to sucessfully complete the repair or replacement of the valve.
Jason determined that the delta cartridge would only require replacement not the valve itself. The job was performed in a professional and timely manner! Thank you Anderson plumbing as a prevouis quote from another company would have cost me $1,900 to replace a valve that wasn't necessary.
I woke up to gas leaks this AM and was shut off by Nicor until they were repaired. I contacted Andersen's after none of my local plumbers out here in the cornfields could had time for me. Erin was very understanding and asked if she could have a few minutes to see if she could rearrange schedules and get someone out to me. Within minutes, I got a call back from Erin to let me know that Gabe would be here in just a couple hours. Gabe, very personable and a true professional who explained what he was going to do and had it knocked out in a very short time. They have won me over and are going to be my go to from now on. I highly recommend Andersen's.

Over the years, I've come to only use Anderson Plumbing for my plumbing needs. They're quick to respond, have great staff from the office to the service people and do good work.
We recently had a major leak at my mom's house and the only company to call was Andersen. I can't say enough positive things about Mario, who has done numerous jobs for us, both at our home and at our rental properties. Like always, he gets the job done, is friendly & respectful and is one of my favorites.
I highly recommend this company for any of your plumbing needs. They also do HVAC work.
