Moody plumbing specializes in service work as well as rehabs. We install residential and commercial water heaters. Bathroom/kitchen remodels as well as new construstion. Old galvinized water pipes?? We can change them into copper. We are a small family owned business that do the job right the first time to avoid callbacks. We are fairly priced and very easy to work with. We guarantee all of our work.

HISTORY

Established in 1996.
Moody Plumbing was started in 1996 by Jim Moody. He worked by himself for a few years until his son Joe Moody took a liking to the plumbing business. Now the both of them work together along with one of Joe's longtime friends Tom. We keep it small because it is very hard to find good, honest hard working people out there. Over the years we have helped out many people in the chicagoland area and will continue for a long time to come.

ABOUT BUSINESS OWNER

My name is Joe Moody and i have been around the plumbing field for over half of my life now.  I am 27 years old and started working with my father Jim on weekends and summers since i got out of grammar school in 1996.  After graduating high school in 2000 i began plumbing full time.  Since then i have gotten my state plumbing license and built a great relationship with many general contractors and customers.  I keep the business very small because i know how hard it is to find people you can trust to do a good job for you.  The past five years the business has included my father jim, longtime friend tom and myself.  I plan to keep it that way for a long time because these are three people that you can rely on.

Can't say more positive things about Joe at Moody Plumbing. He was a fraction of the price of others, very quick to respond to emails and got in and out (replacing two valves, a toilet valve and flapper and a building water shut off!) In under 40min.

Don't look anywhere else. This guy is the bomb. Customers for life here.

Joe came out to fix a ruptured pipe in my wall.   He was quick to respond and instantly knew how to tackle the problem.  He was extremely quick and explained everything he was doing in detail.  His price was more than fair.  Great experience.  Highly recommend!

Had a gas line issue and needed to get a section of pipe replaced quickly. Luckily I found Moody Plumbing as they did an incredible job. Not only were they very fairly priced, they came out quickly and were very professional. The work they did looks great and they even came out same day.

Can't give these guys enough praise and it was great to find honest and reasonable plumbers who clearly know their stuff. I would strongly encourage you to at least give them a call if you need plumbing work done.

They updated my water lines, re-routed drains during a kitchen remodel, and even suggested better ways to save me money when reviewing the scope of work. They do great work and will do their best to get what you want. Legit would not go to any other plumber so long as these guys are in business.

As someone new to the area in need of a plumber, I did what I normally do when looking for information - I turned to Yelp. Great reviews always get my attention and Moody had them. So I called and left a message. Joe was quick to respond, had me take a few photos of the plumbing under the kitchen sink and email them so he could give me a quote for the garbage disposal installation.

He responded with an estimate that was significantly lower than another I had received, and we got it scheduled. Martin showed up at 7:30 AM, right on time, put his shoe covers on and got right to work. He was pleasant, efficient, and made sure everything was working properly and without leaks. And when he finished he gave me the invoice and it was $100 less than the estimate! When does that ever happen? That's the way to earn repeat business! I'll certainly keep Moody Plumbing in my approved contractors file.

We had a great experience working with Joe. He did a big plumbing job for us, adding a bathroom and sump pump in our basement. He was always quick respond to emails and calls. He and his team arrived when they said they would and did great work. We reached our later to address an unrelated leaky pipe. He had an opening and was able to come the next day. From now on we will call Joe first.

As someone new to the area in need of a plumber, I did what I normally do when looking for information - I turned to Yelp. Great reviews always get my attention and Moody had them. So I called and left a message. Joe was quick to respond, had me take a few photos of the plumbing under the kitchen sink and email them so he could give me a quote for the garbage disposal installation.

He responded with an estimate that was significantly lower than another I had received, and we got it scheduled. Martin showed up at 7:30 AM, right on time, put his shoe covers on and got right to work. He was pleasant, efficient, and made sure everything was working properly and without leaks. And when he finished he gave me the invoice and it was $100 less than the estimate! When does that ever happen? That's the way to earn repeat business! I'll certainly keep Moody Plumbing in my approved contractors file.

We had a great experience working with Joe. He did a big plumbing job for us, adding a bathroom and sump pump in our basement. He was always quick respond to emails and calls. He and his team arrived when they said they would and did great work. We reached our later to address an unrelated leaky pipe. He had an opening and was able to come the next day. From now on we will call Joe first.

Can't say more positive things about Joe at Moody Plumbing. He was a fraction of the price of others, very quick to respond to emails and got in and out (replacing two valves, a toilet valve and flapper and a building water shut off!) In under 40min.

Don't look anywhere else. This guy is the bomb. Customers for life here.

Joe came out to fix a ruptured pipe in my wall.   He was quick to respond and instantly knew how to tackle the problem.  He was extremely quick and explained everything he was doing in detail.  His price was more than fair.  Great experience.  Highly recommend!

Had a gas line issue and needed to get a section of pipe replaced quickly. Luckily I found Moody Plumbing as they did an incredible job. Not only were they very fairly priced, they came out quickly and were very professional. The work they did looks great and they even came out same day.

Can't give these guys enough praise and it was great to find honest and reasonable plumbers who clearly know their stuff. I would strongly encourage you to at least give them a call if you need plumbing work done.
