Best Electricians in United States
We've hired Small Tyme on four different occasions for jobs big and small, including a whole-house rewiring. We'll continue to work with Norh, and we continue to recommend him to friends. He has very reasonable rates, and he is prompt, responsive, and very easy to work with.

Frank maintained a clear line of communication via phone calls and texts throughout the estimation and scheduling process. I found him to be polite, professional, and competent. I had him install a new outlet for an over the range microwave and had him swap out an old two prong outlet with a 3 prong. Great honest service from someone who is dedicated and hard working - not easy to find these days.

The two gentlemen showed up on time and were very professional. They answered all of my questions and explained everything that they were doing. The rates were reasonable.

Immediate, no-nonsense service. I didn't even leave a message--Ken called me back just because his phone showed that someone had called. An hour later, he was at my house diagnosing my problem. Will definitely use again.

We give Mike and MPG Electric 5 stars with no reservation. His work is thorough, accurate, neat, promptly completed at a fair price. He has done several smallish projects for us in the past few years. The most recent was installing new under-cabinet LED lights and a ceiling pendant in the kitchen -- life changing -- so bright! And the peace of mind in knowing that the job was done right.

One of the best electricians in the area, won't charge an arm & leg like the competitors. He installed new lights in my living, mounted my flatscreen & installed two ceiling fans. He is extremely knowledgeable and very timely. All services were done very quickly with no issues.

Installed Generac generator. Fair price, superb workmanship. Orlando and George not only did a superb job, they are polite, and professional, and let us know what was happening each step of the process. They left the job site clean and ready to go.

I had Caval Electric do some work for me today and I was really glad I did. Carlos showed up early, which is always a plus in my book. I did something really stupid with my hard-wired smoke detector and lost power to part of my apartment. However, it turned out that really wasn't the source of the problem: when I was monkeying with the fuses in my old-fashioned fuse box after the incident, I removed one where the socket was defective. I couldn't put the fuse back in properly and thus the power loss.
Carlos discovered the problem in my fuse box, crafted a solution to it, and reconnected my smoke detector. He was friendly, polite, and quick, but he took the time to explain to me what the problem was and made sure I understood how to replace the battery in my smoke detector and reattach it to the ceiling. To top it off the price was very reasonable. I will be calling Caval the next time I need an electrician.

Job done, but expensive
We had some flickering lights at all hours of the day, so we called mr. mighty.
They got someone out here quickly, which was nice.
The first day it cost 369 bucks to come out and inspect our panel and the service disconnects and the meter box - about 45 minutes or so.
We scheduled saturday to replace the disconnects for the two units. He didn't show up and called an hour afterwards apologizing. Re-scheduled for later the next week. and he replaced them - 550 dollars.
He noticed the voltage wasn't right, so he called comed because he thought there was a problem with the incoming neutral. Comed came out and said the busbars in the meter box needed to be replaced. Our appliances were starting to fail because of the bad neutral, so i called them back and said come take care of it. 842 dollars.
The job was completed, but I wish he had acted on the meter box that first day after seeing such corrosion. Probably could have saved 550 bucks

Be very aware of who you are dealing with here and I would give zero stars if possible. The first part of a project they did for me they were to re-silicon my bathtub and vanity back splash. It was pricey $198 and I even gave them a $20 tip to hopefully create good will towards the bigger and second part of the project which was sent on a separate estimate after the bathroom was completed, to put crown molding in my bedroom, repaint the entire room and put up a chandelier I had up previously. It was estimated at almost $1700. The major issue was while they were doing my bathtub I asked if they could do me a favor during my bedroom remodel, could they put in two window air conditioners because I hurt my back the other week (only 35 and 45 pounds each, 8000 and 10,000 btus small units), I usually put them in myself and it takes five minutes to do both of them. They said no problem. So they sent me a new estimate today and included $40 to do the air conditioners. I emailed them back at my surprise they would charge me for that given that I am paying them $1900 worth of work, I would have thought that they would just do that for me as an accommodation for the work at hand and for any future work and I emailed back to take it off the estimate, I wasn't going to pay for it. I told them they could proceed with the bedroom work, come get the security deposit and they were suppose to begin the next day. So Chris the owner sent me an email and then called me before I even read it to tell me they couldn't do any of the scheduled work for me since I wasn't going to pay the $40 for the air conditioners. I am still shocked by how unprofessional and just out right childish this was of him and let him know how I felt. All Chris had to do was take it off the estimate and do the work he was scheduled to do. I didn't argue with his wanting to charge me, I just told him I wasn't going to pay for that and to remove it from the estimate and not do it. Instead, I wasted over a week waiting for them to do this work while I am home on vacation and now won't be able to find anyone in the next day that is available to do the work this week and it has really put me in a bind. The interesting thing is that they were suppose to be working on another job and not have gotten to my bedroom for another couple of days, but they had an issue with the owner and were going back and forth over the estimate as Chris told me on the phone and they ended up not doing the work for them so they could start on my bedroom early. So as you can see this is a pattern for him, they did it to not just myself but someone else on the same day! Entire into an agreement with Chris knowing the risk you are taking.
Addendum:
It is good to see Chris is also an outright liar. There was no vicious threat, I told him straight out that I was going to post a review online so others would know what type of business he ran and how unprofessional he is, it's called the truth.
I did tell him his estimate of work was very pricey to which he responded I could probably find someone to do it all for $500, but that was how much he charged and I told him given the timeline I have that I need it done this week, I would pay his prices to get it done. So much for not telling him it was pricey
Second, I didn't mention the camera because it was immaterial to the point of you canceling the day before you were suppose to start your work because I asked you to remove a $40 charge and not to put in the air conditioners. The point of the review is you can't trust Chris to follow through on any arrangement you have with him. Now as far as the camera being free, he said it was free only because he didn't want to charge for time of just standing around trying to figure out if he could even get a camera behind my wall. I guess I should thank him, since his brother was here for a hour and only removed a plate off an outlet in that time and I didn't get charged $80 for all that work so thank you.
Thirdly, when someone tips you, yes it can be for good work, good service, or that person knowing you are going to be doing more work, hoping you recognize that they are willing to reward good work and that will go the extra mile for them being a good customer, or also known as good will. Not that once again has anything to do with Chris canceling the project at the last second without a real legitimate reason other than he doesn't understand good business. And Chris did have another project canceled today because of issues, he told me that.
I asked Chris if he could do me a favor and put in the AC and he agreed, he never said he was going to charge me which is why I thought I wouldn't be charged for it, but once again let me emphasize I emailed him to remove the air conditioner and the $40 charge from the estimate and he canceled the project over that. I am out of space so can't refute all he writes below, but I was a tradesman myself and would never act like Chris

I couldn't be happier with the service provided by this company. Tom was incredibly responsive and had his team on the job the same day I contacted them...a real blessing after all the problems I have had with my contractor. They did an exceptional job and were a joy to have in my home...even my cat loved them! They were professional, conscientious, knowledgeable, and highly skilled. I will definitely have them back and I would recommend them to anyone.

I had purchased a new washer/dryer and was stressed out when I found that my electrical wasn't up to code. I called about 5 different guys, 2 didn't call back, one told me he'd have to make huge cuts in my ceiling to do the job, and one was going to take 3 weeks before they could come back.
Duplex Electric came out quickly, explained the process that they planned to use and scheduled a return appointment in a reasonable time frame. They were so friendly! They have top marks on Angie's List, and are also the electricians for St. John of the Cross Parish.
They did a great job on what I needed. There were two working together, so they worked efficiently, and they explained everything to me in detail so that there was no confusion (much appreciated). I felt confident hiring them, and they made the process stress-free. I also referred them to my parents who also had an excellent experience. I would recommend them to anyone!

Art came by on a Friday afternoon to troubleshoot a room that had lost power. He was willing to squeeze us in last minute when other places told me they could only do Monday. He found the short and had it all fixed within an hour and charged exactly what he quoted. We will definitely be calling him if we need work done in the future.

Hello,
Sam came to my home to add a 220 line for a hot tub I had installed. the work was impeccable and he took the time to explain things, did my special requests, and even came back to hook up the hot tub after they delivered it as part of my job. he is very reasonable and quick to respond.

We've used A to Z for two different projects on our home, one where they had to come in and fix work that was previously done wrong by someone else. Both times, they have been incredibly professional, punctual, and have done great work. I would recommend A to Z to anyone I know and will definitely be using them for any future electrical work we need!
