We've hired Small Tyme on four different occasions for jobs big and small, including a whole-house rewiring.  We'll continue to work with Norh, and we continue to recommend him to friends.  He has very reasonable rates, and he is prompt, responsive, and very easy to work with.

I would not recommend this company for electrical work. Lack of communication, zero follow up and very unprofessional.

Great response time and great price.  My issue was fixed and they were in and out in 2 hours.  Eric was professional and explained everything he was doing.  I was actually scheduled for March 9th and Scott called two weeks early and said he had an opening and was out within the hour.

Excellent service. Came out less than 30 minutes. Thorough, reassuring electric needs looked at. Answered all questions. Highly recommend.

We have a new go-to electrician. Mike is extremely responsive and detailed in his communications. He agreed to help install a new light switch for my elderly aunts. (It turns out, they are neighbors!) Unbeknownst to me, a caregiver fixed the light before Mike even got there for the appointment. Instead of being annoyed, he double-checked the work and made a change to make sure it was safe. He did not take any money from my aunts, and instead gave them a card and reassured them if they had questions or problems, they could call him. Kind, honest, conscientious and detail-oriented. Thank you, Mike!!

Mjp electric was awesome!  A true professional from beginning to end.  He gave me a reasonable quote to install a motion sensor light on the exterior of my home.  He respected my property and me by wearing shoes covers and a face mask every time he entered my home during the install.   He treated my home like it was worth a million bucks.  Besides all this he has a absolutely friendly personality.  I will definitely use him again!  Thanks for the great job!

We have used Penco to service our standby generator for a few years and their attention to detail and thoroughness has been the best!  But this weekend performance tops it all.  We lost power and right away the generator kicked in.  We called ComEd thinking it was a power outage.  Long story short:  no power outage and the generator was not malfunctioning.  We were instructed by mpower to get an electrician.  I was amazed that in two hours of calling Penco, they were here on a 92 degree day checking everything out.  It turned out to not be an electric issue but rather our air conditioner died.  Thank you Penco for your outstanding customer service!

We had a very good experience with Rick from Mr. Mighty. He was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and polite. He thought ahead about what we might need with our fan installation and told us what questions to ask the light shop before we bought the fan/light. He was always on time and wore shoe covers when working in our house, which was thoughtful. On his way out he asked if he could see the make/model of our fuse box to note it for any future calls. We would definitely call him for future jobs.

Update: We did call Mr. Mighty again to have another fan/light installed in a different room. Rick was no longer with the company, but Frank and Ed did an equally fantastic job! Thank you very much!

You can't beat the quality or the service.  Did a beautiful job painting my two rooms, mounting a tv, installing shelves and some patch work around the house.  The neighbors were also very pleased with the drywall and paint matching project that was done last year as well.  Super professional and communicative.  You can't go wrong.

I couldn't be happier with the service provided by this company. Tom was incredibly responsive and had his team on the job the same day I contacted them...a real blessing after all the problems I have had with my contractor. They did an exceptional job and were a joy to have in my home...even my cat loved them! They were professional, conscientious, knowledgeable, and highly skilled. These two electricians are the very best.  I would highly recommend them.  My outside lights were all out and they fixed them quickly and efficiently.  They are prompt, neat and fairly priced.  I would trust them with any of my electrical needs.

Art at AZ is a pleasure to work with. We've had two issues. The first was that we needed an attic exhaust fan installed. The second, a few months later, involved losing power to part of a room.
On both projects, he gave us quotes that matched the final price and that were very reasonable. He also great doing both projects on a semi-emergency basis. For the first, we had just moved into the house only to discover that the second floor had major problems in the summer. On one of the hottest days of the year, he was working in our attic. On the second, I contacted him early in the evening. He walked me through some of the basic trouble-shooting to make sure we really needed his services and when that didn't work, came out the next day.
Both times, the work was first class.

We made an appointment for an estimate and nobody showed up. I called and only received voicemail and nobody returned my calls. Based upon other more positive reviews, I was disappointed in the unprofessional treatment.

We've used A to Z for two different projects on our home, one where they had to come in and fix work that was previously done wrong by someone else. Both times, they have been incredibly professional, punctual, and have done great work. I would recommend A to Z to anyone I know and will definitely be using them for any future electrical work we need!
