Where do I even start - North did such a great job! I own a home that was built in 1913 and everything electrical is always a challenge.  North was able to fix a light connection that was not functioning, add lighting to the back hallway (switches were not in functioning order), and add a new switch so that we could finally use our outdoor light without having to disturb our first unit tenants.  He loves what he does and it shows.  North is a very nice guy who will try to figure out ways to save his customers money and still do an Excellent job.  Great guy, reasonable prices, excellent work!  Thank you North!

Mike Gordon of MPG Electric did an outstanding job replacing under cabinet lighting as well as hanging a fixture that I hesitated to buy due to review after review saying how hard it was for their person to hang. I liked the looks of it and decided to take the chance despite the reviews. He had absolutely no trouble because he really knows what he is doing. In addition, he generously offers his time to answer questions as well as help with purchasing. His patience is extraordinary.

Our previous electrician left us with dimmers that didn't work for years. Mike knew exactly what to use and they work fine for the first time since we lived in this home. He is honest and charges fairly. We intended to add a dimmer to our kitchen fixture but then we weren't sure if it was needed. He was fine with letting us check it out at night, where we could judge better, and get back to him. He offered to come back and not charge the initial first hour charge or return it depending on our decision. He really cares about his customers! We highly recommend him!

We had 3 outdoor GFCI that needed to be replaced. We compared quotes from multiple contractors. MJP sounds most reasonable as he agreed to a fixed rate. Once Marcin arrived, we found that one of GFCI outlet is actually having two outlets and that means total of 4. Marcin did not charge extra. In fact, he replaced GFCI covers for free. It felt like Santa gave us a visit a little too early this year. Thanks a lot for your help. We appreciate your help and your honesty and kindness.

Highly recommend Penco Electric.  The entire staff is courteous, professional, and focused on customer service.  I had Penco install a whole house generator and couldn't be happier.

The team that showed up was professional, upfront with pricing, and got immediately to work. I have an older home and they noticed a few issues (some bigger than others) but weren't overly dramatic about them. I've found living in an older home, professionals tend to freak out whenever they're confronted by something that isn't by the modern book. They quickly fixed what I asked for and gave me straightforward advice on how to, eventually, handle the other matters. They were early but called to confirm that was okay. Overall, very good service and will absolutely recommend and use again.

After messing up hanging my ceiling fan, I had to call in the pros. I called a million electricians and Mr. Mighty was the only one that even answered their phone!!  They came that day and fixed everything perfectly. They also did a quick diagnostic of my whole unit, which was good to know of other problems. Not cheap, but what can you do when dealing with electricity?

The door leading to our rooftop deck was leaking when it rained and causing all sorts of water damage. Turns out the door frame had rotted out, so we needed someone to replace the door casing and install a new storm door. Jamie was the project manager and was very personable and professional and thorough. The whole job was done within 4 hours.  Would definitely work with again!

Very fair pricing and prompt, efficient service.  The owner, Tom Peck, is great to deal with.  He does a great job in a fast and efficient manner.

I now use Fixer for the home repairs I used to handle but I just don't have the time, or my expertise is out of date or comes up short. I have never been disappointed. It's a lot like having a staff of trades and crafts experts literally at my fingertips, and much more responsive than competing services I have used.

Greg and Steve of Duplex Electric are great! I found a recommendation for them on next-door.com, and have since had them out to fix a few different issues. Both times I've called they have responded within hours to my voicemail messages and have come out that day or the next day. They first came out to replace a basement ceiling light. Through this they discovered that the switch was improperly wired. They explained clearly what the issue was, and fixed the switch and replaced the fixture quickly. The second time they came out to install two ceiling fixtures and to replace our kitchen outlets with GFCI outlets. Both times they explained to me clearly what the issues were, worked with safety precautions, arrived on time, and charged a reasonable amount. They are super professional, very knowledgeable, and on top of that were friendly with my crazy dogs - I will for sure call them the next time we need anything electrical fixed. Art was quick to respond, great with communication, I had a variety of issues that warranted a variety of solutions and he handled them all professionally and efficiently; we are happy with the motion detector master closet light, our new properly functioning master bath light switch, and he advised us on better outside light replacements on our garage that no longer worked and installed them same day. Highly recommend!

Sam came to my home to add a 220 line for a hot tub I had installed.  the work was impeccable and he took the time to explain things, did my special requests, and even came back to hook up the hot tub after they delivered it as part of my job. he is very reasonable and quick to respond.

I would not use A to Z Electric again.  

They broke the lens on the porch light I had them install.  They had agreed to install a timer on that light.  Upon installation they claimed they didn't have on in their truck.  

They also installed a ceiling fan and came up with additional excuses why they couldn't install a similar wall switch to the other ceiling fans we have in our house.

A to Z also moved our kitchen light.  They drilled a hole in our ceiling without confirming whether we were o.k. with the position.  I was sitting in the next room while they were working.  They then lost the screws to our fixture.  

The work was o.k. besides the fact that they didn't do exactly what they agreed to do in the quote.  With so many other contractors out there it's not worth dealing with someone who doesn't take pride in their work.
