We've hired Small Tyme on four different occasions for jobs big and small, including a whole-house rewiring.  We'll continue to work with Norh, and we continue to recommend him to friends.  He has very reasonable rates, and he is prompt, responsive, and very easy to work with.

Frank maintained a clear line of communication via phone calls and texts throughout the estimation and scheduling process. I found him to be polite, professional, and competent. I had him install a new outlet for an over the range microwave and had him swap out an old two prong outlet with a 3 prong. Great honest service from someone who is dedicated and hard working - not easy to find these days.

Miguel was great!  He showed up on time and did great work!  He took the time to explain things to me I didn't understand. I was very pleased with the work that was done! He is an asset to your company! I will surely use this company for future needs!

Ken helped me with installing conduit in a high rise unit.  This required providing extra documentation regarding insurance and certifications.  It also meant working within the building's hours and elevator availability.  Ken came to the unit for an initial estimate, provided all of the documents beforehand, followed-up with a walk through on the day before work was to be done, and then personally came to the unit as the job was being completed.  The work was completed professionally and aesthetically.  The primary installer (Darrell) was pleasant, competent, and able to modify the plan as needed.  What I appreciated most is Ken's timely responses to questions and requests for information.  He ensured no question was left unanswered.  Dosie Electric will be a goto resource for future projects.

Mike Gordon of MPG Electric did an outstanding job replacing under cabinet lighting as well as hanging a fixture that I hesitated to buy due to review after review saying how hard it was for their person to hang. I liked the looks of it and decided to take the chance despite the reviews. He had absolutely no trouble because he really knows what he is doing. In addition, he generously offers his time to answer questions as well as help with purchasing. His patience is extraordinary.

Our previous electrician left us with dimmers that didn't work for years. Mike knew exactly what to use and they work fine for the first time since we lived in this home. He is honest and charges fairly. We intended to add a dimmer to our kitchen fixture but then we weren't sure if it was needed. He was fine with letting us check it out at night, where we could judge better, and get back to him. He offered to come back and not charge the initial first hour charge or return it depending on our decision. He really cares about his customers! We highly recommend him!

Great service, fast, and professional. I had a minor repair for some switches and reached out to a few electricians via phone and Yelp quote messaging. MJP responded the fastest and had a reasonable quote, providing me with available slots. He messaged me when enroute. Marcin arrived on time, evaluated the problem (asking a few questions), and was able to repair quickly. My job was simple and would use MJP again.

First, I am surprised there are not more reviews for this business as they are awesome. I've dealt with lots of contractors, and I am the go to phone call for my entire family and wife's family when there are problems or construction needs in the home. Penco is my first and only phone call for electricians, and I have dealt with lots before.

They are super courteous, on time, in communication, competitive on their pricing, and capable of all levels of work. I have had small issues from fixture installs, to the build out of my dad's basement, to fixing a wiring mess at a bar I managed.

The company was very prompt, gave me an accurate time frame at which they could come out.  The serviceman was very professional, let me know exactly what was wrong, and fixed it quickly.  Even called the next day to ensure that everything was working properly.  Great service, all around great experience.

Great experience. Had water coming into my place thru an outer door. A lot of other places I called were slow (or didnt call back) at coming out and giving a free estimate.  The owner Chris took my call and came out to check and identified the problem. He then sent me a link of what to order from Home Depot (in this case... a screen door) and had one of his guys go pick it up for me. They came the next day and installed it. Door works great but more importantly it keeps the water out of the house. They are fairly priced for the quality of work too. I hope I don't have to use them again but if I do...I am calling The Good Guys.

I couldn't be happier with the service provided by this company. Tom was incredibly responsive and had his team on the job the same day I contacted them...a real blessing after all the problems I have had with my contractor. They did an exceptional job and were a joy to have in my home...even my cat loved them! They were professional, conscientious, knowledgeable, and highly skilled. I will definitely have them back and I would recommend them to anyone.

I was recommended to Duplex for my home electrical needs by a long-time friend who is an industrial electrician as the company my friend uses for his home needs. Greg and Steve at Duplex where terrific and fixed my complicated electrical issues in my old home.  I was impressed with their practical approach, as they explained what was needed for life safety and what was an optional fix if I wanted to save money.  They truly understand their craft and put customers first.  They are also extremely reliable with scheduling, which can be rare in the repair and maintenance industry. Art came by on a Friday afternoon to troubleshoot a room that had lost power. He was willing to squeeze us in last minute when other places told me they could only do Monday. He found the short and had it all fixed within an hour and charged exactly what he quoted. We will definitely be calling him if we need work done in the future.

We called for an electrical short that kept setting off the circuit breaker. After 4 days of dealing with another company that had a different story everyday. We called Sam and he solved our problem in a couple of hours for a reasonable price.
He knows his electricity very well.
I would recommend him for any electrical work needed.
He is now our go to guy.

Needed some minor electrical work done at our home. A to Z was responsive when we called and sent an estimator out quickly. They didn't try to get us to agree to work that wasn't needed. In fact, they advised us that repairing something we thought necessary wasn't necessary at all. Workers came on time and did the work in a professional manner. They cleaned up when they left. I recommend using this company
