Where do I even start - North did such a great job! I own a home that was built in 1913 and everything electrical is always a challenge.  North was able to fix a light connection that was not functioning, add lighting to the back hallway (switches were not in functioning order), and add a new switch so that we could finally use our outdoor light without having to disturb our first unit tenants.  He loves what he does and it shows.  North is a very nice guy who will try to figure out ways to save his customers money and still do an Excellent job.  Great guy, reasonable prices, excellent work!  Thank you North!

Frank maintained a clear line of communication via phone calls and texts throughout the estimation and scheduling process. I found him to be polite, professional, and competent. I had him install a new outlet for an over the range microwave and had him swap out an old two prong outlet with a 3 prong. Great honest service from someone who is dedicated and hard working - not easy to find these days.

We recently had a few ceiling fans and light fixtures replaced by Nelson Electric and the whole process was very efficient and well worth the money!
The technicians were prompt, polite, personable and made easy work of our requirements!
As an example we need to have a chandelier replaced in our 25 foot foyer and the two man crew did so with little effort!

I live in a very old apartment building (about 125 yrs old) and I was in need of getting two closet lights fixed.  I found Dosie Electric here on Yelp (who was nearby my residence) and called to request help.  Mr. Dosie explained his pricing and set up a date to come out.  This man is very prompt and very professional.  He had to get some parts for the job and was able to come back the next day and was able to use my existing fixtures which saved me money.  He will not sell you what you don't need...he does only what is necessary and it's very important to me because we know how expensive an electrician can be.  It's wonderful to have somebody who is old school and won't try to rip you off. His prices are VERY reasonable and I cannot say enough about Mr. Dosie.....I will definitely keep him in mind if I have any other electrical work that needs to be done.  I highly recommend him!

Mike Gordon of MPG Electric did an outstanding job replacing under cabinet lighting as well as hanging a fixture that I hesitated to buy due to review after review saying how hard it was for their person to hang. I liked the looks of it and decided to take the chance despite the reviews. He had absolutely no trouble because he really knows what he is doing. In addition, he generously offers his time to answer questions as well as help with purchasing. His patience is extraordinary.

Our previous electrician left us with dimmers that didn't work for years. Mike knew exactly what to use and they work fine for the first time since we lived in this home. He is honest and charges fairly. We intended to add a dimmer to our kitchen fixture but then we weren't sure if it was needed. He was fine with letting us check it out at night, where we could judge better, and get back to him. He offered to come back and not charge the initial first hour charge or return it depending on our decision. He really cares about his customers! We highly recommend him!

These guys are great. I had them install a Nest doorbell and outdoor camera. They were extremely respectful of my home and everything was done professionally and cleanly. Pricing was reasonable too.

Amazing customer service.  I got a whole house standby generator installed.  Paul was very friendly and walked me through the process and answered my many questions.  The installation team was very professional and did a great job with the installation and any follow-up questions.  I highly recommend Penco.

Highly recommend this company. I had a faulty circuit breaker leave us without power to our coffee bar and bathroom. They were out early the next morning to fix it and also switched out a faulty GFI outlet. They knew what they were doing, were prompt and professional. I'm so glad my home warranty referred me to them. Will definitely call out again for any electrical problems I need fixed.

Prompt service, Eddie was even early, and got right down to business, I have had no lights in the main living area for a week now, and it has been a pain.  Eddie checked everything, wall sockets, lights, inside and out and in a short time figured out the issue.  He explained everything and what happened and showed me everything.  Needless to say he did a great job and I would recommend this business to everyone I know.  ps.  I don't mind paying for someone who knows his stuff.  Great Job and thank you very much!!!!!

Good Guys are fantastic. I called Chris with a moderate project proposal - he got back to me within 30 minutes and Jamie was able to come out to do the work the very next morning. Not only were they remarkably quick to respond, but they explained exactly what they were going to do and how. The work Jamie did was thorough, professional, and very well done. I would call Good Guys again for any handyman project.

I couldn't be happier with the service provided by this company. Tom was incredibly responsive and had his team on the job the same day I contacted them...a real blessing after all the problems I have had with my contractor. They did an exceptional job and were a joy to have in my home...even my cat loved them! They were professional, conscientious, knowledgeable, and highly skilled. I bought a condo in an iconic Chicago high rise and I didn't know where to start to get all the little things addressed, but Patrick from Fixer was a dream! Greg and Steve at Duplex where terrific and fixed my complicated electrical issues in my old home.  I was impressed with their practical approach, as they explained what was needed for life safety and what was an optional fix if I wanted to save money.  They truly understand their craft and put customers first.  They are also extremely reliable with scheduling, which can be rare in the repair and maintenance industry. I highly recommend Duplex.

Art worked on several projects in our house. We would ask him any time again. He is very professional, takes good care of everything. He installed a new washing machine, added a 250V outlet and a new receiver for our ceiling van (which was really high up). He always gave us an appointment very quickly. I can really recommend him.

Sam came to my home to add a 220 line for a hot tub I had installed.  the work was impeccable and he took the time to explain things, did my special requests, and even came back to hook up the hot tub after they delivered it as part of my job. he is very reasonable and quick to respond.

They redid the electrical in my house.  That was quick and no complaints with speed.  Only took a few days.  The issue is that one of the outside outlets stopped working the first time it was used.  It wasn't a shorted fuse.  Something is wrong with it.  We called them, and they kept saying they would call us back to schedule someone to check it out.  They never did.   We called them various times with the same the result.   They did a sales call to find out if we have any upcoming electric projects.  We told them no, but first they should fix the issue with the first project.  Again, they said they would call back to schedule a tech... They never did.  I regret going with this company.  I don't recommend them.  Terrible service.
