Norh installed an outlet in my garage and installed a ceiling fan. He was professional, quick and reasonably priced. I would definitely use his services again for any future projects.

Adrian Electrical Contractors responded promptly.  I contacted them after an electrical issue late in the evening.  Someone answered and found an electrician who could come out and help within an hour.  Our problem was fixed in no time.  Our contractor, John, was courteous and the price was just right!  Thanks again Adrian Electrical Contractors!  I will definitely use them again if a need arises!

Why is there ONLY 5 stars?   There should be tons more for Scott and his crew.  On time ... efficient ... friendly ... neat and tidy ... informative throughout the job ... I could go on and on.  You will NOT go wrong with this company.  I cannot say enough nice things about the all around job.  In these days for 'trying' to find the RIGHT person for your needs, it warms my heart to see someone like Scott in business.  He AND HIS CREW are the very best.

Ken helped me with installing conduit in a high rise unit.  This required providing extra documentation regarding insurance and certifications.  It also meant working within the building's hours and elevator availability.  Ken came to the unit for an initial estimate, provided all of the documents beforehand, followed-up with a walk through on the day before work was to be done, and then personally came to the unit as the job was being completed.  The work was completed professionally and aesthetically.  The primary installer (Darrell) was pleasant, competent, and able to modify the plan as needed.  What I appreciated most is Ken's timely responses to questions and requests for information.  He ensured no question was left unanswered.  Dosie Electric will be a goto resource for future projects.

A Reliable Electrician

We had a long-standing problem with some puck lights. Michael Gordon from MPG Electric was the third electrician to look at these lights. He was the first one to look into every aspect of the situation. He found several technical problems with the original installation. Why the previous electricians missed the obvious, we'll never know. Michael fixed what he could with the spare parts we had lying around. Then he left with a list of replacement parts he would need to get the job done properly. A week or so later, he returned and put everything in order. For the first time, we have lights that work. I expect that they will continue to work for years in the future.

I was referred to Michael by Crest Lighting, a very reliable source. He is a properly licensed and insured electrician. He arrived on time, despite the difficult parking situation in Lincoln Park. When he finished, we were satisfied to the point that I gave Michael's business card to our property manager. We live in a 40 story high rise. A lot of us need electricians from time to time. I would recommend Michael Gordon to anyone who needs a reliable electrician

Penco Electric is wonderful!  They installed and now maintain my whole house, back up Generator.  I called for three estimates and by far the most knowledgable and professional was the team at Penco.  Everyone I dealt with
were professional and wanted me happy.  Marion handled setting up my order and explained the process thoroughly.  When my generator arrived I dealt with Justin .   THE FOLLOW UP WAS GREAT.   I bought the generator as insurance having this team with the Generator, I feel very secure.

I had a problem with dimming/flickering lights and power surges that damaged several appliances/electronics so I called the electricity supplier company.  They sent someone out and then told me the problem wasn't on their end, it must be in my house and told me that I needed to call an electrician.  So I called Caval.  Their electrician came out to my house the next day and did a thorough inspection.  He determined that the problem was being caused by loose wire at the pole and not a problem in my house after all.  So I called the electric company again while he was still at my house and they tried to give me another run around.  The electrician kindly got on the phone with them and explained the problem so they could come out and fix it.  The electric company came out and fixed the wire the next day.  Thank you, Caval for going out of your way to help!  You're the best! I would totally recommend you.  5 Stars to you!!

Oscar was amazing.  My lights went out on the top floor of my two flat building.  The house is wired very odd with bsmt, first and second connecting in many weird areas.  The house is also over 100 years old so Oscar had a task ahead.  He has been here three times total and the price was very reasonable for the work done.  He was always on time and professional and cleaned up things he didnt even have to like the ceiling fan before putting it back up.  Thoroughly impressed.  His knowledge of older wiring and the ability to troubleshoot it was top notch!  Also Junior who answered all my calls and emails was very professional and even followed up with me over the weekend off hours.  I appreciated the entire service and will be using them again for projects big and small.

I was really impressed with not only the quality of the work that was completed, but also with the communication throughout the project. Chris was very clear on the pricing and availability, and Jaime always made it very clear what they were doing, how many hours it was going to take and what I like most, he didn't make any decisions on my behalf unless I asked him to. If there were two ways of doing something, he would always ask which I would prefer and would explain the pros and cons of each one.
They were polite, timely and the quality of the work was great.

I couldn't be happier with the service provided by this company. Tom was incredibly responsive and had his team on the job the same day I contacted them...a real blessing after all the problems I have had with my contractor. They did an exceptional job and were a joy to have in my home...even my cat loved them! They were professional, conscientious, knowledgeable, and highly skilled. I will definitely have them back and I would recommend them to anyone.

This past winter, our pipes froze so we had to cut a hole in the wall in order to access the pipes. Months went by and we kept putting off getting the hole patched. The Evanston Moms FB page had recommended Fixer so I reached out and they were able to respond quickly and with a competitive quote. They did a great job patching the hole, were very quick and quiet, offered to take off his shoes and wore a mask, and at the end of the day, the guy pointed out my walkway had both a dead bird and a dead mouse (eww) which he offered to dispose of if I could get him a bag. I told him I would take care of it but I really appreciated his kind offer and going that extra step to do something completely unrelated. The best part? I referred my sister to their services and I got a credit! I'll definitely be reaching out to them for future jobs.

I was recommended to Duplex for my home electrical needs by a long-time friend who is an industrial electrician as the company my friend uses for his home needs. Greg and Steve at Duplex where terrific and fixed my complicated electrical issues in my old home.  I was impressed with their practical approach, as they explained what was needed for life safety and what was an optional fix if I wanted to save money.  They truly understand their craft and put customers first.  They are also extremely reliable with scheduling, which can be rare in the repair and maintenance industry. AZ Electrical did a great job with our projects which included a new ceiling fan, a dining room chandelier, and a new outlet.  He was professional and easy to have in the house.   I highly recommend AZ Electrical for projects and/or repair.

We called for an electrical short that kept setting off the circuit breaker. After 4 days of dealing with another company that had a different story everyday. We called Sam and he solved our problem in a couple of hours for a reasonable price.
