Very friendly and knowledgeable. Norh quoted me for several projects, and ended up running a 220 outlet for my dryer across the house, and adding an outlet. He also helped me figure out a problem I had with some switched outlets. His pricing was really fair. If I need an electrician again, this is who I will call.

Frank maintained a clear line of communication via phone calls and texts throughout the estimation and scheduling process. I found him to be polite, professional, and competent. I had him install a new outlet for an over the range microwave and had him swap out an old two prong outlet with a 3 prong. Great honest service from someone who is dedicated and hard working - not easy to find these days.

We just hired Scott and his company to install new light fixtures and recessed lights in our kitchen along with recessed lighting retrofits in our master bedroom and hallways. Scott responded to my call within two hours. We met a few days later and received a quote within 24 hours. He was tremendously helpful in laying out the lighting. His team was competent, efficient and completed the job quicker than estimated and exactly on budget. I was so impressed, I have asked Scott to quote on generator sub panel project which I will be starting in the spring. I highly recommend Scott Nelson Electric. I live in a very old apartment building (about 125 yrs old) and I was in need of getting two closet lights fixed.  I found Dosie Electric here on Yelp (who was nearby my residence) and called to request help.  Mr. Dosie explained his pricing and set up a date to come out.  This man is very prompt and very professional.  He had to get some parts for the job and was able to come back the next day and was able to use my existing fixtures which saved me money.  He will not sell you what you don't need...he does only what is necessary and it's very important to me because we know how expensive an electrician can be.  It's wonderful to have somebody who is old school and won't try to rip you off. His prices are VERY reasonable and I cannot say enough about Mr. Dosie.....I will definitely keep him in mind if I have any other electrical work that needs to be done.  I highly recommend him!

We give Mike and MPG Electric 5 stars with no reservation. His work is thorough, accurate, neat, promptly completed at a fair price. He has done several smallish projects for us in the past few years. The most recent was installing new under-cabinet LED lights and a ceiling pendant in the kitchen -- life changing -- so bright! And the peace of mind in knowing that the job was done right.

Hired Marcin to install an ev charger. I received a fair quote for the work, more reasonable than others. He did a great job on the installation.

He did another small job for us as well. Helpful and easy to work with.

We have used Penco to service our standby generator for a few years and their attention to detail and thoroughness has been the best!  But this weekend performance tops it all.  We lost power and right away the generator kicked in.  We called ComEd thinking it was a power outage.  Long story short:  no power outage and the generator was not malfunctioning.  We were instructed by mpower to get an electrician.  I was amazed that in two hours of calling Penco, they were here on a 92 degree day checking everything out.  It turned out to not be an electric issue but rather our air conditioner died.  Thank you Penco for your outstanding customer service!

Absolutely the best electricians my family has ever used. Carlos Sr. and Jr. came to our aid like electric genies when our garage lost its electrical power. Seems our landscaper accidentally diced it when planting a tree. They spent about six hour replacing the line and enclosed it in metal. They did this as a precaution for future overzealous  shovelers.   They also replanted my plants after they were done. Was so thrilled at the end of the day, I hired them to do another job. A week later, I have new recessed lights in my basement ceiling. Excellent work, did exactly as was discussed. Fairly priced, honest, and reliable. Guess I must have won the  best electrical contractor lottery!

These guys are great - honest, fast and fairly priced.  I used them three times, once to fix the AC (diagnosed as needing freeon), the second time to replace a used part on the AC and third to fix the furnance.  All three times the technician told me about the diagnostic fee of $89 (not sure why the other reviewers were charged $266) ahead of time and the cost to replace the part.  He was honest and showed me the faulty parts and explained why they were faulty.  I never felt pressured to fix anything additional. I will use these guys again and recommend them to friends.

Chris from C and E was referred to me by a friend a few days ago when I was asking for a reliable handyman/painter.  We needed a few small repairs around the house, mostly patching and paint touch ups. Chris and his coworker just finished up and I am beyond pleased! These guys really know what they are doing and are very reasonably priced. It was a great experience and I would definitely recommend C and E to anyone looking for a high quality handyman.

Very fair pricing and prompt, efficient service.  The owner, Tom Peck, is great to deal with.  He does a great job in a fast and efficient manner.

Fixer helped clear a bathtub drain.  They were knowledgeable and efficient.   They couldn't clear the trap as it was frozen. They are handymen, however, not plumbers. Their price was very reasonable.

Steve is the electrical contractor you are looking for! Quick response time, friendly, knowledgeable and cleaned up. No surprises with pricing, what he quoted was what we paid. Will definitely use him for all future project's!

I found Steve and Greg through a Moms of Western Springs FB group. We had a switch go out and there was an arc of electricity so I was concerned about fixing it as soon as possible. I called Monday night and they got out Tuesday morning and fixed the problem. Their response was remarkably fast and the quality of their work was exceptional. Thanks Steve and Greg!

I am moving from the area and with packing/donating items, etc. needed an electrician to help with a thermostat in my home before the house could be available for rent. I reached out and was contacted immediately by Art from AZ Electrical. He was very professional and was able to give me an estimate of the cost I could expect when he arrived and soon we had a date/time arranged within the week that worked with my busy schedule.  He called the day before to confirm the appointment  which was fabulous!  He arrived promptly, as expected, and was courteous, knew exactly what needed to be done with the thermostat and cleaned up thoroughly after himself.  No change or price gouging when the service call was over.  I am totally satisfied and would definitely recommend him to all of my friends and neighbors and will be using his services again should the need arise.

We made an appointment for an estimate and nobody showed up. I called and only received voicemail and nobody returned my calls. Based upon other more positive reviews, I was disappointed in the unprofessional treatment.

When we needed to have electrical work done on our home, it was easy to decide to contact A to Z since we have used them successfully in the past. We provided a list of necessary work and we reviewed it with A to Z. They went over the list with us when they completed the job. The charge was fair. Workers came on time and did the work in a professional and timely manner. They advised us that repairing something we thought necessary wasn't necessary at all.
I would definitely recommend working with this company. They were very friendly, helpful, and professional. They were available after the job to address any concerns.
One of the projects A to Z Electric completed was what I called an electric spider web in our basement utility room. As you can see by the photos, A to Z Electric was successful at repairing this.
