Norh installed an outlet in my garage and installed a ceiling fan. He was professional, quick and reasonably priced. I would definitely use his services again for any future projects.

I want to give a review to Adrian Electrical as one of the most professional electrical contractors in the Western Suburbs.  Frank accommodated us with a last minute request.  He was very prompt and knowledgeable, customer service oriented, and professional.  They are a bonded, licensed and insured company that I can give my highest recommendation!

We give Mike and MPG Electric 5 stars with no reservation. His work is thorough, accurate, neat, promptly completed at a fair price. He has done several smallish projects for us in the past few years. The most recent was installing new under-cabinet LED lights and a ceiling pendant in the kitchen -- life changing -- so bright! And the peace of mind in knowing that the job was done right.

These guys are great. I had them install a Nest doorbell and outdoor camera. They were extremely respectful of my home and everything was done professionally and cleanly. Pricing was reasonable too.

Justin was our main contact for a complete re-wire and fixture installation, new fuses/circuits for a two flat in the city. He gave us a wonderful deal and provided us with the work we asked for and more! I wouldn't go to anyone else -- even though their specialty is in generators.

Penco did everything we requested and came out in a timely manner and blocked us for a week on their time schedule.
They are prompt, clean, and effective as a team. Usually arriving from 8-8:30am until 3-4pm.

Edgar was our main worker (came in and out most of the hours and work) and he did a fabulous job in keeping us posted and informed about what they were doing and when. He really works for this company and if I could give him 10 stars, I would.

If you ever decide to get electrical work done, just clear a path for them to work, be cool people and move your personal items away so they can do their job.

Obviously cutting holes in walls and directing and re-directing outlets is a must when and where you want them to be - so as clientele- be prepared for that.

Even if you didn't want walls cuts, they really do their best to be minimally invasive because we have three newly painted and redecorated rooms, and they really respected the boundaries of our newly constructed area.

Other than that we told them to have at it.

AND.... Yes, they do pick up after themselves when they're done, I even offered to do it myself to help them keep going or leave early for their day but they truly insisted on leaving things the way they were when they came in.

Connor (sp) and Tony - very helpful and friendly group of guys - very knowledgeable and efficient. (Came in 2-3 days out of the 5)

There was someone else that was like an apprentice - I believe Brian - a young guy fresh out of school type kid - he was like Edgar's sidekick - wasn't here the last day
but if I had any say in his future employment, I'd say, teach him and keep him - definitely shows a lot of potential for this company.

I had Caval Electric do some work for me today and I was really glad I did.  Carlos showed up early, which is always a plus in my book.  I did something really stupid with my hard-wired smoke detector and lost power to part of my apartment.  However, it turned out that really wasn't the source of the problem:  when I was monkeying with the fuses in my old-fashioned fuse box after the incident, I removed one where the socket was defective. I couldn't put the fuse back in properly and thus the power loss.

Carlos discovered the problem in my fuse box, crafted a solution to it, and reconnected my smoke detector.  He was friendly, polite, and quick, but he took the time to explain to me what the problem was and made sure I understood how to replace the battery in my smoke detector and reattach it to the ceiling.  To top it off the price was very reasonable.  I will be calling Caval the next time I need an electrician.

I've used their services twice in the last 5 years.  They are friendly, give you a reasonable quote and time frame.  They do their work quickly and clean up after themselves. You couldn't deal with more professional people who also are just nice people.  I highly recommend them

This is one of those reviews I hate to write...because I hate that more people will learn how AMAZING these guys are and then I'll have to wait for their availability!

Chris, Ty and Jaime are the best of the best. We started using them for small repairs around our first condo - some painting here, a light there -- they were quick, easy to work with and always available. They'd even show me (a good guy but DEFINITELY not a handyman) how they did it. When we installed a washer/dryer, they did it all -- installing outlets, repairing drywall and more. They even installed ethernet for us in the depths of the pandemic!

We decided to move for some more space and knew we wanted to update the paint and lighting from the previous owners. We asked Chris and team if they'd be willing to come the week before we closed and help us with a list of updates.

Not only did they show up and provide a very fair quote -- Chris and Jaime even came back the day before Easter to FINISH painting. Who does that? Chris is a fastidious painter and he did an incredible job. Ty even came back later to hang another fixture and replace a breaker he heard buzzing.

They went above and beyond and are ALWAYS the first people I will call when I need some help around the house.

I couldn't be happier with the service provided by this company. Tom was incredibly responsive and had his team on the job the same day I contacted them...a real blessing after all the problems I have had with my contractor. They did an exceptional job and were a joy to have in my home...even my cat loved them! They were professional, conscientious, knowledgeable, and highly skilled. Quick: I needed to replace my overhead microwave unit in my apartment. I reached out to 8-10 different handyman services, fixer was the first to respond. They also were the first to give a quote that was responsible and didn't look the haggle.

Communicative: when fixer reaches out, they have a texting service that they communicate through and have you save in your phone. The texting service Walk's through payment, scheduling, and any changes or updates. After scheduling me a few days later a new appointment time opened up and the texting service alerted me and I made the appointment for the new time.

Professional: fixer had two people come. As soon as they checked in, I received an email/text that said the people had checked in and their estimate for job length. They best their estimated time by 30 minutes which saved me substantial dollars from the initial estimate.

Pro tip: use the Yelp handyman feature for looking for a handy man.

I had purchased a new washer/dryer and was stressed out when I found that my electrical wasn't up to code. I called about 5 different guys, 2 didn't call back, one told me he'd have to make huge cuts in my ceiling to do the job, and one was going to take 3 weeks before they could come back.

Duplex Electric came out quickly, explained the process that they planned to use and scheduled a return appointment in a reasonable time frame. They were so friendly! They have top marks on Angie's List, and are also the electricians for St. John of the Cross Parish.

They did a great job on what I needed. There were two working together, so they worked efficiently, and they explained everything to me in detail so that there was no confusion (much appreciated). I felt confident hiring them, and they made the process stress-free. I also referred them to my parents who also had an excellent experience. I would recommend them to anyone!

We called for an electrical short that kept setting off the circuit breaker. After 4 days of dealing with another company that had a different story everyday. We called Sam and he solved our problem in a couple of hours for a reasonable price.
He knows his electricity very well.
I would recommend him for any electrical work needed.

I was drilling into the wall to install some shelves when the power to our condo went out completely. We called 4 or 5 different electric companies that said they provided emergency services and A to Z was the ONLY one that we were even able to talk to an electrician. The owner actually answered the call, and was able to walk us through finding and resetting the circuit breaker outside our unit, which, as he suspected, had been tripped. Lights came on and everything was fine. Someone was able to come out that week to check and make sure I didn't do serious damage. I would definitely recommend working with this company. They were very friendly, helpful and professional.
