I am a huge fan of Small Tyme Electric. I manage a few properties throughout Chicago and I have used them every time i needed anything done. Wether it's some minor updates or a complete remodel. Norh Is an amazing person. Such a pleasure to work with. I always have the worst luck when it comes to contractors so when I find a good one I hold on and don't let go. I'm willing to share with you as I want to keep him working for years to come so he's always there when I need him!

I want to give a review to Adrian Electrical as one of the most professional electrical contractors in the Western Suburbs.  Frank accommodated us with a last minute request.  He was very prompt and knowledgeable, customer service oriented, and professional.  They are a bonded, licensed and insured company that I can give my highest recommendation!

Sent a message to the owner late last night and got back to me early this morning...had a team come out before lunch and they solved our issue quickly!  They were priced right and communication was awesome from the owner and team.

We have some new fixtures coming up for replacement and want to add a spotlight in the backyard...I will be coming here first and see if they can help me!

We give Mike and MPG Electric 5 stars with no reservation. His work is thorough, accurate, neat, promptly completed at a fair price. He has done several smallish projects for us in the past few years. The most recent was installing new under-cabinet LED lights and a ceiling pendant in the kitchen -- life changing -- so bright! And the peace of mind in knowing that the job was done right.

MJP Electric installed can lights and a chandelier in our house. He offered great service, great pricing, and exceptional work! I will be hiring him for all of my electrical work in the future.

Had too many estimates on a remodeling job in my basement everyone was giving me the run around and outrageous prices . I chose Penco because of the awesome reviews and I have to tell you they were awesome , on time , clean work , super job , great price . They wired my 20 new recessed lights and 13 outlets ,8 switches, plus new larger circuit breaker panel and cleaning up wiring by the panel that was bx and using conduit to clean up the area that was over 30 or 40 years of old wiring . Everyone didn't want to do the panel in my house because the pipe coming in from the meter needed to be moved over couple inches . Other companies were just coming in for an estimate and would not call back or they gave me a ridiculous price on purpose so I wouldn't call call them back not Penco they came in confident man unbelievable so happy  I chose them . I would give them 10 stars if I could . Definitely call them back for any job . Great communication nothing hidden everything up front .

I had Caval Electric do some work for me today and I was really glad I did.  Carlos showed up early, which is always a plus in my book.  I did something really stupid with my hard-wired smoke detector and lost power to part of my apartment.  However, it turned out that really wasn't the source of the problem:  when I was monkeying with the fuses in my old-fashioned fuse box after the incident, I removed one where the socket was defective. I couldn't put the fuse back in properly and thus the power loss.

Carlos discovered the problem in my fuse box, crafted a solution to it, and reconnected my smoke detector.  He was friendly, polite, and quick, but he took the time to explain to me what the problem was and made sure I understood how to replace the battery in my smoke detector and reattach it to the ceiling.  To top it off the price was very reasonable.  I will be calling Caval the next time I need an electrician.

Good job, but expensive.

I had 3 pendant light fixtures changed, and a couple of wall outlet covers replaced, all of which took about 1 hrs work and was charged $500. He was coaching his son through the installation so he could get experience.

After observing how easily light fixtures are exchanged, I wish I had more DIY saavy and saved money. Definately buyers remorse.

Ricks polite questioning about how much my Gold Coast condo HOA fee and how much the light pendants cost were inappropriate.

Bottom line. Don't hire them for an easy job. It's overpriced. Hire a handyman at a lower rate.

Hadn't needed a go to handyman in Chicago until today.  We just had a variety of electrical odd jobs stacking up related to outlets not working, fans needed installed and some of my not so handy work to be corrected.  

Everything was really smooth, easy to communicate with, book an appt, simple online payment via credit card.

Really happy with the price.  Previous experience with this type of work had been pricier and Ty was very personable, respectful, wore a mask and cleaned up after each job appropriately.

Just saved these folks in my Yelp collection as one of our Go To Guys for any type of help we may need around the house, or any more of my handy work that needs undoing :)

I couldn't be happier with the service provided by this company. Tom was incredibly responsive and had his team on the job the same day I contacted them...a real blessing after all the problems I have had with my contractor. They did an exceptional job and were a joy to have in my home...even my cat loved them! They were professional, conscientious, knowledgeable, and highly skilled. I had purchased a new washer/dryer and was stressed out when I found that my electrical wasn't up to code. I called about 5 different guys, 2 didn't call back, one told me he'd have to make huge cuts in my ceiling to do the job, and one was going to take 3 weeks before they could come back.

Duplex Electric came out quickly, explained the process that they planned to use and scheduled a return appointment in a reasonable time frame. They were so friendly! They have top marks on Angie's List, and are also the electricians for St. John of the Cross Parish.

They did a great job on what I needed. There were two working together, so they worked efficiently, and they explained everything to me in detail so that there was no confusion (much appreciated). I felt confident hiring them, and they made the process stress-free. I also referred them to my parents who also had an excellent experience. I would recommend them to anyone!

I had a couple of fans put in and light fixtures for both bathrooms.
When I called for an estimate he got back to me right away. They did a great job and the price was fair. I would definitely recommend them.

We called for an electrical short that kept setting off the circuit breaker. After 4 days of dealing with another company that had a different story everyday. We called Sam and he solved our problem in a couple of hours for a reasonable price.
He knows his electricity very well.
I would recommend him for any electrical work needed.
He is now our go to guy.

a tree branch fell and took out the pipe to our electric meter. I called 3 companies , a to z was the first one to come out. the estimate was clear and professional .  only one other company  came  out, and was miles off and vague on their  estimate . Bob was efficient fast and super respectful . Highly recommend them.
