We got gifted a bidet back in the summer and procrastinated until the holidays to figure out what to do with it. Unfortunately the bidet needed a dedicated outlet and we only had one outlet in our bathroom that was far from the toilet. I sent out a few inquiries to electricians in the area and Scott Nelson Electric replied quickly with a date and time that worked for us. Scott, the owner, came over at his promised date/time to survey the jobs we wanted to get done. Scott provided a prompt and fair quote by the EOD as promised! We quickly scheduled time to install the extra GFCI outlet in the master bath along with having multiple outlets checked/replaced for safety as we had recently moved into our home. Email exchanged to confirm the installation date and time was smooth and quick. Due to the holidays, we scheduled the installation in the new year, but we already procrastinated like 5 months to get this done, what's another 2 weeks?

Eric & Connor came over at the promised installation date and time to complete the jobs and we could not be happier! I was worried that we had to do some drywall patching after the new outlet was installed, but they were able to figure out a way to create a connection via the attic. Our attic isn't the easiest to access and I've personally never been up there, but they were able to get the installation done without me having to do any extra drywall work! WIN! They also looked at a few outlets for safety checks and installed GFCI outlets in the areas that needed it (bathroom and kitchen) l. They were professional and polite and didn't mind maneuvering around curious cats. Couldn't recommend them enough.

I cannot say enough good things about Scott Nelson Electric & his two employees (Eric & Connor) that were at my home for nearly 6 hours yesterday.

We walked them through a TON of issues from our inspection report, and they were extremely understanding and accommodating. They were also both very friendly, as well as professional.

They let me ask my million questions and also always tried to find the least damaging (to my home) & most cost effective solution to solving our many electrical issues.

I would recommend them to anyone & everyone, and I'm sure they will be back at my house at some point to work on future projects.

Scott was the most courteous and decent person. He was only a few minutes late and so apologetic. Who does that? You can tell he has done this a long time, he knows everything. His prices were good and I cannot say enough good things about his team. They spent a couple of days on completing the tasks because we had a bunch of projects to do, Eric and the other guys were knowledgeable, courteous and so efficient. I needed two ceiling fans and a couple lights installed and some other electrical work a few months ago. Scott Nelson Electric service was outstanding. They explained everything completely and clearly. They got the job done right. I took several bids for that job and they gave me a good price.

I had a separate electrical issue with different lights in my home yesterday. I was concerned, so Scott Nelson Electric came to my house the same day. Everything is fine now.

Scott Nelson Electric did all their work in a very professional manner. They completed the job, fixed everything on time and neatly.

I could not recommend Scott and his crew enough!! Not only was Scott very responsive but he also did his best to get our issue resolved as fast as possible. We live in an old house and had multiple electrical issues. Eric and Conner were assigned to our project and I am thrilled with the job they did. They were on time, friendly, and professional. We recently had a few ceiling fans and light fixtures replaced by Nelson Electric and the whole process was very efficient and well worth the money!
The technicians were prompt, polite, personable and made easy work of our requirements!

Solid!

Scott called me right away when I used Yelp to get a quote. They were pretty busy but I heard every electrician was (even my plumber told me lol). So I scheduled for the nearest apptmt in about 5 wks, and I wondered if they would forget... they didn't! They called maybe the day before to check in and day of, they were punctual. I forget who came, but the guy was very efficient. He even installed an extra light fixture I had. Based on their hourly rate that they had quoted, it was exactly that. I SO value honest companies after dealing with terrible ones like Arrow Plumbing. Really, life would be so much more pleasant if some people didn't feel the need to cheat others in order to get ahead.

The ground beneath our exterior electric meter and service box had shifted and was pulling the whole box off of the exterior wall. Scott gave us a reasonable quote, and we coordinated with Com Ed to schedule a crew to turn off power service to allow him to do the work, and reconnect power. The job went as expected and power was reconnected the same day.

Of all the quotes I got via Yelp, Scott seemed the most knowledgeable about what needed to happen, and I'm happy to have hired him.

Extremely quick to respond and quote our job. The crew that did the work was super friendly, mask compliant for covid, and did great work.

We had two outlets that were in wall mounted boxes with external wiring and they were able to quickly get them wired and hooked into existing circuits, even at an old house. Will definitely be using them again for future electrical needs.

I called a couple electricians and no one could come out for months. Did a Google search and came across Scott Nelson Electronics. They were able to come out within the week. Bought a condo and needed a few things.... 8 GFCI outlets in bathrooms and kitchen , installation of nest thermostat, and had exposed wires under garbage disposal. The guy came on time.... If not a few minutes early. Very respectful. Wore a mask entire time. Efficient. I bought most of the outlets and thermostat ahead of time. I was short two GFCI outlets and bought them from the electrician. Total was $250. Very reasonable. Will definitely use them for future projects!

I hired Scott Nelson Electric to install a ceiling fan in my master bedroom. Scott was quick to respond to my quote request and his price was the best.

Eric and Derek came over to do the install. They were both really nice and professional. They took the time to make sure the job was done correctly and to my satisfaction. Scott Nelson Electric did a fantastic job for us! Scott came out and gave us a quick estimate, and was one of the best prices. They were busy, so had to wait a few weeks for them to come do the work, but when they did, they were professional and did a great job. The two employees that came out were the best. Replaced a few light switches that were running the fixture that had never been installed correctly. Replaced our 2 story foyer fixture with ease. WOULD DEFINITELY HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM FOR ANY ELECTRICAL WORK!!!!

Fantastic work from SNE's crew. Needed some new outlets ran and a dedicated circuit for a fridge in the basement, as well as some other bits and bobs around the home. Showed up on time and was done shortly after lunch. Work was approved and signed off by city inspector with no issues/concerns.

After our go-to electrician couldn't be reached and power to the large appliances was out, I reached out to these guys instead hoping to get someone out ASAP. I left a voicemail around midnight, heard back around 8am, and was scheduled for 2pm. Then they were able to squeeze me in even earlier than expected at 9am, meaning that most of the food in the fridge/freezer - not to mention years' worth of valuable medicine we had built up, which is why this was so urgent - would be OK. Fantastic communication the whole time.

They walked me through what the problem was and made recommendations on how to approach it in the future. Definitely eye-opening, and definitely appreciated.

After reading all the rave reviews for Scott Nelson Electric, I decided to give them a call to do a complete install for 3 ceiling fans.
I was shocked when Scott responded that there was a month wait to do the install.
Wow I thought.
Ok, I'll wait the month then.

I'm so glad I waited out for Scott and not go elsewhere.
The technicians that came to my house arrived on time and were nothing but professional from start to finish. Derick and Phil are a class act.
Scott also came to the house to see how the job was coming along.

Scott and his guys were amazing! We recently bought an older home {1945} that had been added onto and then 'wired' by amateurs over the years. Only 2 outlets in the entire house were installed properly. Scott came out initially and went through the entire house to generate an estimate. The estimate was very reasonable, especially considering the amount of work needed. So we scheduled an appointment to have the work done. Scott sent 2 of his guys out, and they were fantastic! They spent all day replacing and/or repairing our outlets and switches. After all that, the final cost actually came in lower than the original estimate. That doesn't happen everyday! I recommend Scott and his crew wholeheartedly!

I'm electrified! Hire Scott Nelson Electric if you want knowledgeable contractors who are polite and show up on time.

I hired Scott Nelson Electric (found by doing a web search) to install pendant lighting above a butler bar / island in my kitchen. There was no existing electrical there so, they needed to run electrical to existing switches and cut a hole for the electrical box.

I could not be happier with the work. Everything that was discussed while scheduling was what actually happened on site, nothing unexpected.

The cost was extremely reasonable, and the electricians that did the work were polite, knowledgeable, communicative, and had a sense of urgency about the project. They even patched my ceiling, and well, too.

I would definitely hire Scott Nelson Electric again.

Incredible is the only word that comes to mind. The guys showed up on time with smiles on their faces (which can be pretty hard to do at 7:30 A.M.) I found myself in a slightly difficult situation I needed some work done but was on a bit of a time crunch, (I work crazy hours) but leave it to Scott and his team to move efficiently and get the job done when I needed it to be. Great job guys nothing beats these Professionals and I will recommend you to everyone I know!

I contacted Scott to get a quote and he was very quick to respond. I compared him to other quotes and he was competitive with the other electricians if not better. We did can lights in our whole first floor and a room upstairs. This was probably the best service I will ever get on any project. Scott was very open to my ideas and provided good advice. Derek, the foreman on site was also amazing, he was available through texting or calling and responded within 5 minutes and answered every call. Outstanding service!

If you want a professional, reasonably priced Electrical Contractor, hire Scott Nelson Electric. I found him through Angie's list, where he had great ratings and now I wouldn't call anyone else. He and his staff are professional, responsive, and extremely competent. I've used him for three different jobs and plan to do much work in the future with him. On one of the jobs I had a minor issue and I emailed him, on the weekend. I think he responded in 30 minutes, was out the next day, and resolved the problem at no charge in about 15 minutes.

Scott and his crew always do a great job! He's a very honest and professional person and leaves everything clean and neat when the job is completed.
They always arrive on time and are always polite and friendly.
I've had Scott install a ceiling fan, closet lights, sconces, pendant lights, and recessed lights in my kitchen and hallway. I still have more for him to do .

Scott has been our primary electrician for the past 3 years. Whether it's installing receptacles so that we can have a mounted light in the bedrooms or installing various light fixtures, we've been very happy with Scott and his crew. We just hired Scott and his company to install new light fixtures and recessed lights in our kitchen along with recessed lighting retrofits in our master bedroom and hallways. Scott responded to my call within two hours. We met a few days later and received a quote within 24 hours. He was tremendously helpful in laying out the lighting. His team was competent, efficient and completed the job quicker than estimated and exactly on budget.
