We wanted to install Canned lights so I did my research on yelp and I came up to this company. I noticed that they had five stars out of over 50 reviews. This was a really good sign. I called the owner of the company and told him what we need and we scheduled an appointment with him because the price point was extremely fair. They install the four Canned light for $572. The lights are beautiful and they have made our living room looks so much better.

I had an amazing experience with Current. Called to set up an appointment to get an estimate for exterior lighting put in on my home. Phone was answered - this might seem silly but a lot of places don't answer the phone or return messages. Anyway, Don arrived when he said he would (called when he was on his way), Don was knowledgeable and helpful in deciding where and what kind of lighting would be best for my home. And, when he wrote up the estimate (sent later that week via email) it was listed out so we could see the cost of each part so we could pick and choose if we wanted to do all the lighting or just parts. That was super helpful. Anyway, scheduled an appointment for the lighting installation and the technicians were very nice and professional. They didn't mind at all as I watched them work and asked questions. I cannot recommend Current Electrical enough.

Kent is absolutely amazing. We reached out about an inspection report on a house and he quickly assessed the pictures of the damage and let us know what repairs to expect. From just a picture he was able to derive much of the same information we got from the inspection and quickly gave us a quote for repairs. We are so impressed by Kent's technical knowledge and the way he handles business. I cannot thank him enough!

Prompt response to my plea for assistance with a circuit breaker that prevented my thermostat from functioning. No thermostat, no A/C, no fun.

I needed my electric panel replaced to close on my condo. The pressure was on and I needed help fast. After 3 weeks with nothing done from the first company I was more then upset.
I researched and called LMV. The ratings were high!
I called and spoke to the secretary , Maggie ,and she had Lucus out in 2 hours. After 3 hours the wrote a proposal and  was sent to me.
I signed and they did everything that was needed for the Village of Mount Prospect and my HOA to approve me.
The whole project was scheduled , passed by the Village and approved in a few days!

Attempts to overcharge on basic jobs, attempt to charge $100 per surge outlet, changed pricing, do not use this company

Todd was extremely helpful and his pricing was fair and honest for a small job that alot of other companies were trying to charge me an arm and a leg for!  He was very personable and answered a bunch of questions I had about some other electrical things in my home. He was prompt, quick with his service, and a pleasure to work with. Highly recommend Todd and Hardt electric!

I would not trust or recommend any other company than RED Electric. I was so lucky they were referred to me. Ed and his team are truly fantastic, professional and provided super high quality work. I had my entire house (1939 Georgian) rewired and upgraded to a 200 amp panel, plus they removed a ton of old low-voltage wires. It was about 3 weeks worth of work total and lots of holes in the walls but totally worth it  to have a safe, newly wired home. Emilio was the main technician at my house. He was so nice and friendly and professional. Not only did he do great work, he helped me practice my spanish and my skills improved dramatically while he was here. Even the inspector who came over knew of Ed and his team and said he has one of the best electric companies out there and is highly respected.  So do yourself a favor, just go with Ed and his team, don't bother with anyone else.

AM&L was referred by my Oak Park based Plumber. I spoke with the owner, Steve.  AM&L installed an exhaust bathroom fan/heater/light combo unit.  My house is 121 year old Oak Park Victorian. Dave, the electrician and his assistant worked diligently through a few challenges over a two day period to run the wires  - all inside from the basement floor circuit box to the second floor.  AML was very reliable, consistently followed Covid protocol and did an outstanding job. The best electrician I have hired in my 28 years in Oak Park. Highly recommended!

Called the day before Thanksgiving and the owner walked me through my problem over the phone. Was a huge help! Will definitely call back!

Howard is legitimately good at what he does.  He is no fuss, no muss, gets the job done.  He will do little jobs, big jobs, etc.  He upgraded my whole house from two prong to grounded outlets, replaced a few sconces, two ceiling fans, installed flourescent lights in my basement and garage and was kind and timely and professional.  I would recommend him to anyone.  He knows his stuff!

I needed a chandelier and ceiling fan installed, and a discrepancy with my fuse box investigated. Getting on their books was a bit of a challenge because they're so busy, but once I did the electrician was prompt, clean, kind, and efficient... and the invoice I received was very reasonable! They emailed the invoice after the service and you can pay online, which I personally prefer and appreciate. All in all, I would absolutely recommend North Shore Electric and use them again for any future home projects!

Goran arrived on time, identified and addressed the issue while on site, and had the best rates of anyone we found in our service area. Two thumbs up!
