Best Electricians in United States

First time I've needed to have an electrician come out.  Steve and Joel were the team who came to work on my kitchen outlets last week.  They called to let me know they were on the way. That gave me time to clean off the counter and put away my dog .  I told them what I'd like done and they accomplished the job in a clean, quick manner.  And, pricing was transparent as I knew what to expect before they even came out.  I would definitely use Donatello again if I have the need.

Jack and his crew have done a number of jobs at my house (added a mini-split line and took care of some home inspection issues).  Pricing is very competitive and the work has been excellent.  Highly recommend.

These guys have done work for us on several occasions. They are professional and timely, and seem to provide decent value for the cost. It's also nice to have one stop for everything -- plumbing, electric, HVAC.

Only thing that kept them from 5 stars today -- when they came to fix our AC unit today, they discovered an electrical error that their installer had made in our breaker box when they replaced it last fall.

Jeff came out to give a quote for some electrical work in my two bathrooms.  It was pretty simple stuff: four can lights on dimmer switches, low voltage LED lights, and a bathroom exhaust fan.  I was totally unimpressed by Jeff's knowledge as I was having to tell him how to do things (you'll need to cut this 2x4 and put in a 4 slot electrical box, you'll need to run a whip here and run a box here....).  Basically I had zero confidence that Jeff knew what he was doing.  Jeff also said he would send me a quote and he never got back to me.

Pros
--Jeff was very friendly and flexible considering I showed up 15 minutes late to meet him for the quote

--I was not confident that Jeff knew what he was doing
--Where was the follow up??

I contacted them a while back looking to get a quote for future renovations on my home. The electrician that showed up was a bit late (he called to let me know,) but courteous, knowledgeable & walked through everything that I wanted, explaining what was feasible & his thoughts. This took maybe 15-20 minutes. He left me his card & said he will get back to me with a quote in a few days, but right before he left he made sure to make a comment questioning how I would pay for all of the work which was odd. I never heard from them again.

I figured the list of things needed some time to quote out & it was no rush so I gave them a few weeks... still no quote. I started emailing & called specifically stating that they didn't need to quote out every little detail... just give me a ballpark estimate based on their previous experience in-order to make it much easier on them...the lady over the phone I believe said they don't do ballpark estimates...ok. It was weird since it's not like an estimate is legally binding & set in stone. Weeks turned into months into years...nothing. I gave up a long time ago on getting that quote from them.

A year or so later something happened that exposed & shorted out some wiring in a wall. I sent SAFE a message letting them know the situation & if they could send someone out as soon as they could since it was a serious fire hazard...crickets. I assume they either don't like money or don't want me as a customer even though I've literally done nothing to deserve the silent treatment.

Luckily other electricians reached out & fixed my issue as well as got me some ballpark figures on the work I was looking to get done.

David is absolutely awesome! Great personality, very professional, and does amazing work! He installed lighting through out our new home and he did an amazing job. We had a mixture of track lights and chandeliers installed. We also needed for electrical connections to be established in some places as there were none in some of the areas where we wanted to add lighting. He worked with us to see exactly where we wanted the fixtures to be installed and was very patient to ensure we had it exactly how we wanted it to be. We hosted our first family dinner this past Sunday and everyone just loved the lighting. David provided great information on the types of bulbs that would be best for the fixtures and more energy efficient. He is absolutely awesome! Thank you David!

We have had Goldstream Electrical, or Matt, to our home twice this past month and he was wonderful. Both times he discovered the problem easily and quickly, and fixed both problems right away. He is extremely polite, professional, and accommodating. I highly recommend him for your electrical needs.

Had a great experience with Randal Electric. I'm selling my condos in Chicago and some very minor electrical work popped up on the home inspection report. I called a few different electricians on Yelp in the area and a lot hung up on me because my request was too small for them to set an appointment. I communicated with Randy what I needed to be done and he was confident that it would be a quick and easy fix, plus he'd be able to put me down for an appointment the next morning. Eddie was my electrician who was right on time this morning. He was polite and professional and after he was finished with the breaker he even asked if he could review the home inspection report to make sure everything needing an electricians attention was covered. I appreciate honest businesses in home services. While searching for electricians I ran across CR Electric and they tried to upsell me on an entire new panel a 4-6 hour job that would have been unnecessary and over the top. Eddie was able to make the breaker safe and eliminate the double tap breaker installed by a 10+ year old alarm system company that I never used in 7 years of owning the property. I'm glad I called Randal Electric and if I need electricians for the next 4 condos about to go on the market I know who I'll be calling!

Installed a new outlet for a wall mounted tv. Did a great job and was quick. Great price and great service.

I started using Homer last year, when I needed grounded outlets installed in my 75 year old house. He was fast friendly and efficient, and fair with his price. Earlier this year I need my wiring upgraded to 100 amps. I got 3 estimates, Homer was on the same par as the higher end, so I went with him. He brought in a crew was able to supple me with an outlet so I could continue to do work on the internet, while the power was off, they finished the job in 7 hours, cleaned up everything, and you can see that no shortcuts were taken. Yesterday I called to have a new internet ceiling fan installed, he came buy to see where I was installing it,He noticed the wiring was cracked and about 65 years old, told me what we would have to do, showed me how I could save money buy keeping the old box, and just replacing the wires. And at the same time would install my new security cameras for the house. He is upfront with his price, he provides all the parts, so I don't have to search and shop around.Highly recommend him for all electrical work.

Reliable, punctual, and hard working skilled guys. Installed a H2O heater and price was 50% less than my plumber.

Can't say enough good things about these guys, they were always honest, did the job quickly, they were on time and most importantly professional.  Thank you again for fixing our garage.

ive used many of these types of companies and fixer definitely stood out! they were very knowledgeable and I could tell had a lot of experience. I was very comfortable with them working in my house. They did a fantastic job and even had to do some customization of some of the parts that I had. Everything turned out wonderfully. Would definitely use them again.

We bought a new dryer that was causing an electrical fuse to blow whenever we used it. I called PB Electrical Services and they came right away, diagnosed the issue as needing a new circuit breaker, and fixed it same day. Great service and I'll definitely use them for future electrical needs!

Don't not use this electrician.  Dishonest and lied about services.  Total scam artists.  I first called and they said they would charge $49 for travel fee and troubleshooting.   When the electrician came,  he didn't come and even look at the circuit board.  No trouble shooting done.  Instead he came there to just say he  will charge $300 for any kind of service he will do (different from my phone conversation )-  why didn't you reveal all this during our phone conversation?  Repeat DO NOT USE THIS ELECTRICIAN!  

The electrician was very unprofessional and was arguing what  happen if it's a complicated job,  it's $300!  I said , what happen if it's an EASY job,  and it's $300?!!!   As mentioned,  when I talk to the lady over the phone,  they said they charge differently for different services.   However ,  this cheating electrician want to charge over $300 for not even taking a look at the circuit board.  Very dishonest, rude, and not upfront with their pricing .  DO NOT USE.

We received timely and excellent services for electrical work for our kitchen. However they are a bit pricey.  We didn't realize how pricey they were until we started started remodeling our basement at which time we obtained a quote from Excel Electrical and another Electrical company.  The quote we received from the other electrical company was 1/2 the price, of the quote we received from Excel's.  Excellent work but definitely shop around

I came in and I'm Hispanic he cussed at me and called me a Spic that he doesn't need my business and my money is no good here he also had a gun and has a threatening demeanor
