Our kitchen cabinet (under-mount) lighting stopped working and it was not a simple as to change the bulbs - a wiring issue - so I looked up for a reliable electrician in my area (thank you, Yelp reviewers!) When I called Donatello Electric, Don answered the phone immediately and he was super polite and accommodating. He came and gave us a couple of options and quotes right away. We decided to put this tape-like lighting to go all the way around the entire cabinet. It wasn't inexpensive for a small kitchen but Don said it'd last for a long time, so we pulled the trigger.  We added a dimmer for extra charge, and even though we don't use it, I'm glad we went with it for an added value. If we decide to sell our place down the road, I think it'll look nice during the open house in the evening (I hear that's a thing now). Mike, the electrician, who did all the work, was super nice and got the job done very efficiently to our satisfaction. He also replaced our bathroom switches. We were very happy with their service and highly recommend them!

No one every responded to my inquiries....I guess my job was too small for them to consider.  I found someone who actually wants my business.  This company comes off my list for future repairs, large or small. - Owner responded....I must have slipped through the cracks.  I'll upgrade my stars for the quick response.

EDIT: I was offered a partial refund to account for the damages and incomplete work. The owner, Dan, was very proactive in reaching out to try and make things right. My experience seems to have been a rare one so I'm updating my review to 5 stars (was originally 3)

Got most of the job done, but wouldn't use OneStop again for electrical work.

I needed help installing a new doorbell transformer and running the power through 2 specific wires already at my front door. The reason I say specific is because I had custom equipment that would let me wire a smart doorbell into a vintage intercom system.

The electrician seemed upset with the request, and kept ignoring what I was asking him to do. Instead, he did things his way and severed wires such that I can't use the electronic chime in my intercom anymore. The solution was he insisted I buy a regular doorbell chime and install it myself.

I kept reiterating I only wanted him to install the transformer and run power from it, nothing else. I did not want him trying to complete install or integrate with the intercom. So, I was disappointed in the end result.

The next task I needed help with was running speaker wire to 6 locations in our home. The electrician said one of the locations wasn't possible so I didn't push on it. (He still charged me for all 6 at the end.)

While running speaker wire in our home, he cut 2 large holes in our walls (to look for studs) and told me I'd need to fix them myself. Suggested I buy spray foam. He didn't ask me before cutting holes, he just showed me the holes after the fact.

I have just bought an old house and was following up on inspection items. Jeff got to us quickly, educated me on things and helped me to determine the importance on different issues. He did the work independently, and came back when he said he would to complete the job. I was very happy with his work and his easy helpful manner, and will be having him back to swap out light fixtures and put in an exterior outlet.

Prompt response and very friendly, detailed and educational to boot! Haven't had to actually hire them yet but looking forward to future projects once this crazy pandemic year is behind us.

David at Next Level has done two jobs for me at my new house, one was running a new line out to my detached garage and the other was installing outdoor outlets. We're very happy with the work he completed and the process to get there. He is a clear communicator, he is clear on his pricing and the work is completed efficiently. He also worked with us to keep the price manageable for the garage power by suggesting my husband dig the trench himself. Much appreciated (although my husband underestimated the effort, ha!) David will stay our family electrician as long as he is in business.

Called them on Thursday and they were able to show up the following day to change out my outlets. Cheap prices, priceless work. Clean and efficient. Great service and would definitely recommend Gomez Electrical.

I got lucky and he was available on short notice. Our conversations were short, to the point, and I felt he was honest with me.  His cost came in 10% of what another electrician quoted - albeit a very easy quick job.  We'll be back.

Owner of the company is honest.  Did all work as expected.  His workers were puntual and professional.  Calls were returned, problems addressed quickly.  Solid contractor.

Edwin is responsive, friendly, and solved our electrical issue promptly. He also installed electric to our deck. Highly recommend.

Homer was very professional. He answered my call immediately and was out the same day to look at our issue. He diagnosed an overloaded circuit but when he and the crew came out to fix it he discovered we had lost partial power and thus we also had a ComEd issue. He was kind enough to understand we wanted to get that resolved first before fixing the circuit. He even called ComEd for us to schedule the fix. I will be calling him again for any electrical issue!

Happy to find a Chicago owned business during these Covid times.  I utilized the schedule appointment online to receive the quote.  Joe was great and called me to discuss my project and potential alternatives.  I ended up having drywall repaired as well as a few odd jobs in between the drying times.  The 2 crew members ran into some unforeseen material issues, but both were very friendly and professional.  The end result was very good.  Unfortunately, the job ran longer than personally budgeted for (took 4 hours instead of 2).  Joe personally called to explain the job hours.  He is very professional and personable, especially during these stressful times for both individuals and businesses.  I was happy HandiCo was able to fit me into the busy home repair schedule in a reasonable time.  I would definitely consider utilizing their services in the future.

I used Fixer for the 1st time recently and was thrilled with the quality of work done, skill of handyman and speed of completion. Very easy to book service & pay online.  I have high ceilings in my townhouse & just changing lightbulbs is a challenge.  My Fixer handyman completed all the tasks including installing a new shower sprayer & hose in just over an hour.  I'm thrilled with Fixer and sure I will use them often in the future.

We bought a new dryer that was causing an electrical fuse to blow whenever we used it. I called PB Electrical Services and they came right away, diagnosed the issue as needing a new circuit breaker, and fixed it same day. Great service and I'll definitely use them for future electrical needs!

Twice now I've relied upon All Power Electric to help me in a pinch.

First, I had an outlet that started to smoke. I thought I could take care of it myself but just managed to make it worse. Tony Juarez showed up to fix my mess in a couple short hours.

Then I decided to install a ring floodlight. This time I called Tony first and he got it done in 30 min. He also gave me some good advice to make sure I kept the integrity of the product in place.

Would definitely recommend this company.

We received timely and excellent services for electrical work for our kitchen. However they are a bit pricey.  We didn't realize how pricey they were until we started started remodeling our basement at which time we obtained a quote from Excel Electrical and another Electrical company.  The quote we received from the other electrical company was 1/2 the price, of the quote we received from Excel's.  Excellent work but definitely shop around

I came in and I'm Hispanic he cussed at me and called me a Spic that he doesn't need my business and my money is no good here he also had a gun and has a threatening demeanor
