J, couldn't fix my Whirlpool Dishwasher, citing a computer issue, but didn't charge me and pointed me toward another repair guy skilled in that line. I insisted he take $20 for gas money.

I ended up buying a new dishwasher from Home Depot (sale) and a 5 year warranty

Keith does great work at very competitive prices. We own a vintage condo and every project is a sort of archaeological expedition. He is able to tackle any problem or challenge skillfully and we're very pleased with all three projects he has completed for us. Everything looks great and we recommend him any chance we get.

Frank came out to do an inspection of a generator transfer switch we had installed by another contractor.  We had problems with the other contractor who installed the generator transfer switch, and another company we use for non-generator electric work (Kinetic Energy... they are great, but don't do generators!) referred us to Frank. Frank checked the work, which fortunately was solid, and helped me understand how to use the transfer switch. Frank was outstanding. He really knew his stuff and I wish we had gone with him in the first place (we went with the unnamed other contractor because they were in our town). He spent a good 45 minutes with me and never charged me!  I strongly recommend him.

Joe is great! I called him to diagnose a problem with my  bathroom vent fan, install a new kitchen faucet, and repair my dishwasher mounting. He was very polite and professional, and completed all 3 projects efficiently.

Afterwards, he threw in a few tips on appliance maintenance and showed me how to reduce noise from my steam radiators.

In the past I have used another, more expensive handyman service in the neighborhood. Joe's prices were better and he's just as knowledgeable. I'll be sticking with him from now on.

My work hired NNY Electrical Services for our electrical needs. The electrician we had the pleasure of working with was Ninos.  Ninos has done several jobs for us at this point, and we have never been anything but extremely satisfied with his services.  Besides being super nice, reliable and a perfectionist (good traits for an electrician to have!), the prices for the jobs were very reasonable. We would definitely recommend Ninos.

JMR completed my project quickly and on budget. The team was flexible and worked with my schedule. They clearly communicated what was needed to complete my project and kept me up to date.

Jamie was great.  He gave me a good price to install a new electrical outlet for our dryer.  He was available to come out quickly and while he was here he fixed a three way switch that wasn't working properly!

My level of satisfaction with Louis and Fail Safe Electric Co. cannot be overstated. I bought a condo several years ago with an antiquated Zinsco circuit breaker panel. Zinsco panels are notoriously prone to serious malfunctions and have been known to cause fires. In addition to being a fire hazard, it was out of code where it was located above the kitchen counter.

When I decided it was time to finally get this thing replaced, I had planned on getting estimates from several electricians. Louis and Fail Safe were recommended to me by a local HVAC company. I contacted him first to inquire about both replacing and relocating my circuit breaker panel. I figured I'd listen to what he had to say, keep it in mind, and move on to the next estimate. He came out on a Saturday and discussed with me the options, and gave me a price that was well below what I was expecting to pay for such a job. I was sold. No need to get any other estimates. We agreed to move forward.

Louis and his guys got the entire job done in a single day, and did a great job cleaning up all the dust after the work was done. The new panel is beautiful and I can sleep a lot better at night knowing I have a safe and up to code breaker panel.

On top of this, Louis did ALL of the leg work getting the permit from the village, presenting the plans to the condo board, and arranging the inspection. This went far above and beyond my expectations.

At inspection time, the inspector was so impressed with the work that had been done, he said I should recommend Fail Safe to anyone I know that may need an electrician. That's quite an endorsement!

Louis, you're a rockstar! I can't thank you enough. You've got a customer for life. Hire him, folks!

Dominik and his team did an excellent job finishing our basement, adding fixtures, installing outlets and switches, adding a 240v source w/ ventilation, and framing and hanging drywall, taping & mudding. We used him since is the same contractor that is finishing my wife's art studio building - and the work there is excellent.

Price was very competitive. They do everything - so getting a bundled quote not only helped with costs but also scheduling. We went through multiple options for decisions, with Dominik showing his industry expertise and knowledge about any question that came up, whether it be routing wiring or sound insulation.

Project was completed on time. I wouldn't hesitate to work with them again, and highly recommend them for any projects you need.

I had an outlet making noises that I knew were not right and that it was an urgent situation. I shut off my power and called a bunch of electricians who were too busy. I called Big City Plug and James answered and was over in about 90 minutes. He fixed me right up and I'm having him back to check all my outlets. He's fantastic - friendly, knowledgeable and reasonable prices. So glad I found him!

I contacted Adam Hadib with A1-Services.  He answered his phone, no voicemail. He asked for photos of the work we needed done, then he sent me back his reasonable quote.

He was able to come out the next day to install our shower door. (He was booked up all week after Sunday).

He did a wonderful job! He was very personable; kind;considerate, & honest.

We will definitely call him again if needed.

Tim was awesome. He came and installed my smart switches. Very professional. And answered all my questions. I will definitely be reaching out to Tim in the near future for all my Electrical projects.

These guys respond quickly and do the job right.  I've been using them for 3-4 years.

They probably nice people having a bad day, but I called just to get some info and got hung up on twice. The first time I was hung up on soon as I finished my question. Then I thought the phone might have just messed up, no biggie. I call back get immediately put on hold and 90 seconds in it picks up and I get hung up on again. Not trying to be a bother, just was interested in your services and prices.
