i found J&J here and was impressed by their reviews after the other place I called didn't show when expected. Called them and someone showed up immediately, found the problem, repaired, tested, and told us what we should be doing to maintain it. From the time we called until the time he left was under an hour. I was happy with the price of the repair as the other company would have charged me nearly $100 just to show up. I plan on calling them again to inspect our furnace before this winter.

Terrible company. This man is a scam artist. Not licensed, check for yourself. Stole 2000 from me and almost caused my home to burn down to to his neg

You bought the materials. You scammed me. Now you're saying I bought the materials? You're about to be in a lawsuit with my partners. 1.) Fraud-you aren't licensed, we checked. 2.) You operated outside of our contract by using illegal material, as stated in our contract you were to bring the property to code. 3.) We are putting a lien on your business for the state of Illinois to dissolve your company for the above named reasons. You really must be so undereducated that you think you can get away with scamming people. Oh, and your not hard to find either, so I would quit with the threats. Have a great day. Your a no one that I'm suing.

I was referred to Frank by someone who's a general contractor so I expected a certain level of professionalism and responsiveness. He was quick to respond and come to see what we needed to have done around the house. He had to do some research on one item and promised he would get back to us within a few days with a quote. I called my GC contact and thanked him. Unfortunately, I counted my chickens before they hatched.

We have no major projects so we weren't requiring immediate attention but over the course of 1.5 months, I left several messages (whenever his VM wasn't full) and texts with no response. Just when I was about to give up, I gave him one last call and he picked up. He was apologetic and said he'd get back to me in a few days....that was over a month ago.

Joe does top notch work and can fix just about anything.  He also works very quickly as well.  However, his rates are insanely high.  I was charged 165 an hour which is mind boggling.

My work hired NNY Electrical Services for our electrical needs. The electrician we had the pleasure of working with was Ninos.  Ninos has done several jobs for us at this point, and we have never been anything but extremely satisfied with his services.  Besides being super nice, reliable and a perfectionist (good traits for an electrician to have!), the prices for the jobs were very reasonable. We would definitely recommend Ninos.

JMR completed my project quickly and on budget. The team was flexible and worked with my schedule. They clearly communicated what was needed to complete my project and kept me up to date.
I highly recommend JMR.

Jaime did a great job. Was quick to respond to our request, was at our house in under 48 hours, and fixed a problem with the ceiling fan install that the handyman couldn't figure out. All these during turbulent times.
Will be hiring him for any future electrical issues.

I called Louis to have some work done that was required after a home inspection. He explained exactly what needed to be done, and we scheduled the appointment for the next day. Louis showed up right when he said he would. He couldn't have been more professional! He completed all 5 tasks in just over an hour. We chatted the whole time he was here, and I even learned some new stuff about electrical work. A+++ service! I will recommend him to anyone who needs an electrician, and I will only use him in the future. Thank you!

Mixed thoughts.

Started out on the right foot...I needed an electrician to check out my smoke/CO2 detectors as they were on the fritz and randomly going off - not cool. JD Pro (Dominik) was the first to respond to my Yelp RFQ, always a good sign IMO.

On the day of the job, Dominik was punctual, professional and we agreed that replacing all 6 detectors was the safe bet. We got to talking and I told him I was thinking about having some other electrical work done - projects that would be significantly more profitable for him.

Then I got the estimates and an invoice back from Dominik. This is where things took a different turn. His estimates for the other projects seemed on par, BUT then I noticed he had charged me over $500 for simply replacing 6 smoke detectors. I get the cost of goods aspect and flat service fee, but did it really cost me over $220 in additional labor for him to simply click in the new detectors? I could have connected them myself in under 5 mins. Lesson learned.  

The saddest thing is Dominik apparently didn't have the foresight to realize he could have made a lot more $$$ if he would have been reasonable on the simple project. Oh well, I still wish him all the best.

James did an awesome job helping me figure out my door bell situation. He was very responsive to my messages. He's super knowledgeable and friendly. He was even able to explain to me the mechanism of how all the wires could work (because my doorbell had 12+ wires too it instead of the standard 3) in simpler terms. Overall, I would highly recommend him. Thank you!

Loved guy showed up in a mask. He was polite, efficient and prompt. I plan to have him do some work for me after the thanksgiving holiday.

Tim was awesome. He came and installed my smart switches. Very professional. And answered all my questions. I will definitely be reaching out to Tim in the near future for all my Electrical projects.

These guys respond quickly and do the job right.  I've been using them for 3-4 years.

They probably nice people having a bad day, but I called just to get some info and got hung up on twice. The first time I was hung up on soon as I finished my question. Then I thought the phone might have just messed up, no biggie. I call back get immediately put on hold and 90 seconds in it picks up and I get hung up on again. Not trying to be a bother, just was interested in your services and prices.
