In a recent phone call home, my mother mentioned to me that her dryer had died on her, thus requiring her to go to a laundromat. I did some research on this (price to repair vs. buy a new one, namely) and decided that the best course of action was to hire someone to come out and take a look at it and hopefully repair it.
I reached out to a few companies on Yelp, but ultimately landed on J&J Repair. The man I spoke with on the phone was incredibly nice and was able to come out the very next day to take care of things. He also offered a reasonable price that included his service fee, labor, and the parts needed for the repair.
The repairman just left my mom's house and was able to get the job done quickly and efficiently. His quote was accurate and there were no sneaky fees. As an added bonus, he was able to accept payment via credit card. The dryer is once again in working order thanks to the fine folks at J&J Repair! My mother has even lined up an appointment to have her garbage disposal looked at in a few weeks. This was a great experience and we look forward to doing business with them in the future.

I can not recommend Kevin at Enigma Electrical more highly!  He is a consummate professional, a kind person and a very talented electrician.  I had an urgent project in my vintage condo with VERY old wiring, as my condo was going on the market and the electrical needed to be fixed on a Sunday.  Kevin doesn't normally work Sundays, but he understood my dilemma and urgency and he rearranged his schedule to come and help me on his day off.  He was not only comfortable dealing with a tricky electrical situation, but he was delightful to talk and laugh with.  I couldn't be more grateful!

We used Frank for an assessment on a house we are planning to purchase after our home inspector pointed out some electrical issues. Frank is extremely professional and considerate of your time and money. He understands realty and the difference between what SHOULD be asked for and what COULD be asked for. When we move in, I will be using Frank to fix some of the things that he brought to our attention and have no doubt that he will do a professional job.

Got a referral from a woman on Next Door. Just needed a door stop installed on my buildings front door. Sounds simple but it's a condo building and I did not want to screw it up. He came exactly when he promised and did an excellent job. I would totally use him again next time I have a need.

Half of the outlets didn't work in our kitchen and we couldn't figure out why. We called JMR and Jose was very polite and professional on the phone. Luckily he was going to be in the area so he got us in quickly. He was very through! He would not stop until he found our answer and kept us informed the whole time. He was very reasonably priced too. Jose is the owner who serviced us

Needed couple of electric jobs to be done , jaime showed up , was very professional and explained  everything  in detail ( which I appreciate ) .came back next day took care of all of theme and did an excellent clean job...now I hired him for my other business locations ..will definitely recommend

I got an apartment building rewired and additional service added by failsafe 2 years ago. When they were here they it all looked great. As Soon after they left I started finding issues. First it was my door bells and door access did not function anymore. I was told that it was not them and it probably shorted somewhere. Since then I have found that the breaker labels are not correct as they said they were going to be set up. Shared spaces are hooked into the 1st floor service and not on the shared space service. I also found that some wire were not replaced as they supposed to be. (Cloth wire previously, they were all being removed and replaced) Other breakers have multiple outlets in different rooms across the apartment, which is not how it was supposed to be set up. Overall I have been disappointed the more and more I find. We rewired to get rid of all the cloth wire and to separate the 1st, 2nd, and shared spaces and I feel like the electric is still an issue after all of this.

Update: it's been 18 days since I wrote this post and no one reached out. He was very quick to answer this post (within 10 mins) but never followed up at all. It's just disappointing he would rather call me fake then actually deal with the problem.

I needed some recessed lights changed ASAP. JD Pro Electric was able to come out same day. They were nice, respectful and did a great job. I will use them again for my other rentals.

James did an awesome job helping me figure out my door bell situation. He was very responsive to my messages. He's super knowledgeable and friendly. He was even able to explain to me the mechanism of how all the wires could work (because my doorbell had 12+ wires too it instead of the standard 3) in simpler terms. Overall, I would highly recommend him. Thank you!

We had an emergency service call the day after Thanksgiving and Adam came out after three other prior service calls late at night.  He was very personable and helpful, answering all our questions and educating us at the same time.  Our immediate issue is resolved but if we need further guidance, we will reach out to him again.

Tim was awesome. He came and installed my smart switches. Very professional. And answered all my questions. I will definitely be reaching out to Tim in the near future for all my Electrical projects.

Mark came out and did a great job. On the last fixture, we identified a wiring fault and he had to schedule a follow-up. He called the office and - within minutes - the office called me to schedule the additional work.

**They even asked me if I wanted the job on 2 invoices or 1**

Anyone who has had to add on extra days to a job knows how complicated that can sometimes get with billing. To be asked shows me that JD is concerned with having a positive outcome. Highly recommended.

They probably nice people having a bad day, but I called just to get some info and got hung up on twice. The first time I was hung up on soon as I finished my question. Then I thought the phone might have just messed up, no biggie. I call back get immediately put on hold and 90 seconds in it picks up and I get hung up on again. Not trying to be a bother, just was interested in your services and prices.
