Best electricians I've worked with, hands down. They did great work, promptly, and with care for design and space. Not only were they best bid I'd received, but they did the work in half the time that anybody else had said would be needed.

Frank Perlongo did a lot of electric work in my old Berwyn bungalow.  He's very reasonable and does top quality work. He's a perfectionist!  I will always call him for any job, big or small. I highly recommend him.  He had to re-do my ceiling fans and other electric that was done incorrectly. He really knows his stuff!

This review is purely on non response  I had contacted this service on 9/10, initially by phone, and per his vm, it said to better reach him, do so via text.  I then sent a text same day.  No reply or acknowledgement.  I prefer to deal with a business who at least responds to the customer, even if they are too busy to do the job or estimate.  I don't know how his service is, but again this 1 star review is only due to lack of response.

Service Max(7855 Grosspoint Rd SteA3, Skokie,IL) is an unreliable company trying to use the pandemic as an excuse for sloppy business practices and mismanagement. On three different occasions I have had someone from their office call on the morning of the appointment to reschedule. These are not new appointments. This is an over  scheduling issue that management should be able to address and correct. Only schedule work for which you have enough employees to complete. I have had it with Service Max. I am also writing a letter to the Better Business Bureau.

This is the MOST REASONABLE CONTRACTOR I have ever worked with. The Father and Son Combination was excellent and their interaction during the work period made me feel that they were doing the job as though they are building their family home. They took the time to explain their work to me and rhey answered my questions truthfully.

We hired a service from Angi's List to have a wall knocked down in our home.    Sooo we had to have some electricity rerouted. The electrician, they brought with them, completely bailed on us and left us with wires hanging and outlets exposed. With two boys and two dogs we had to find an electrician reliable and fast. We gave Johnny a call and he really came through for us. He  was friendly, reasonable, and just an over all a really cool guy. The electrical  work was neat and thorough. We will be using his services for our basemanent and any other future projects.

Our Generac whole house generator failed to come on during a multi-hour power outage on a Sunday morning. The Generac support line recommended AL Electric as the closest dealer. Andrey picked up the phone after two rings, came out within an hour, and had our generator running within 2 minutes. (The generator had an error code that required dealer service.) His charge for an emergency visit on a Sunday morning was very reasonable and he will be coming back later in the week to do full maintenance on the unit. As the Generac support person said, you need to have a dealer do maintenance on it yearly so AL Electric will be our regular service. Andrey is also very friendly and knowledgeable.

ABS was recommended by a residential lighting retailer.  I emailed them on a Saturday, and got a response the next day!  We scheduled an appointment for an estimate, then received a quote a few days later.  The ABS team came out promptly at the agreed upon time, and were extremely professional.  They installed a medium-sized chandelier in a vaulted foyer in about an hour.   Highly recommended!!  Bryan Rice and the ABS team will not disappoint.

They were able to send someone out for a very small job within a couple of days of my contacting them. The labor cost was reasonable and the electrician was very professional.

David is very friendly and courteous.  His work is professional and top notch.
I will definitely recommend his service to everyone I know

First of all these written words come nowhere close to how I feel about the excellent service that I received from Sal and Sonar Electrical. Sal was most helpful from my first call. I had recently installed a new wall AC unit in my condo in February and had not used it until late June. After 20 minutes of use it would keep tripping my breaker. I called Sal and explained to him what was happening. He told me to save on a service call to call the company that installed it and to see if the AC was working correctly. They came out and said it was fine but but put a 20 AMP breaker where I had a 15 AMP in. The AC would work, but I noticed my lights where flickering after their service. I called Sal again and he said get the installation company out again to check their work. Sal was suggesting this in order  for me to save dollars. They did come out and told me my neutral wire had an issue and it was not their responsibility.  I called Sal and told him the issue and he said he could come out on a Saturday at 9AM. Sal was on time, friendly, and professional. Sal completed the work swiftly and so far everything is great. This job was completed at a fair price as well! I really appreciate the advice that Sal gave me and I must say his years of experience has paid off in a satisfied customer. I would never hesitate to call Sonar Electrical again and I highly recommend this company.

Our experience has been horrible.

It started off well and the Electricians are nice people however, management makes them come on their times only and not the time agreed or stated.  Several weeks would go by because they had bigger projects to work on and they told us they were busy and wouldn't even get something on the calendar for us....?

We finally got something on the calendar to finish off our work....the job finally got completed....We had work done to our home to update our electricity to a new breaker box.

A few weeks later we switched a couple switches to off and they wouldn't turn back on....one of these switches controlled our Thermostat in the middle of 28 degree weather....our home is an ice box....  I called early in the morning and the answer I got was we don't know when we can get someone out....we'll try ASAP once their current jobs are completed.  No expected lead time....nothing.....

The service is absolutely nuts...

So happy we found Shock Tech 2. Jamie (the owner) recently installed Tesla EV charger in our garage that required running about 60ft of conduit from the basement to garage. Jamie did a fantastic job! Very impressed! I appreciated his consistent communication throughout the entire process and was very happy that my work was able to be completed within days after receiving the quote. The pricing was also competitive comparing to another quote I got. Will definitely use them again for future electrical work (I'm already planning to hire him to tackle some smaller projects I have). Highly recommend.

Needed 3 dimmer switches installed - $30 total.  Didn't charge by hour (most electricians I called wanted $125/hour.  They just cut me a fair deal and even picked up the parts I needed for lower price better than Home Depot was charging.  These guys were great, highly recommend.  Great Value.

I could not be happier with our outdoor string lights installed by CM Electric. Everything from planning to installation was a breeze. They are the only company who was able to cover the exact area we were interested in illuminating without using any posts and doing so at a very affordable price. I highly recommend using the professionals for this project instead of doing it yourself and sacrificing on the overall appearance of your yeard.

Brian was extremely polite, honest, and very efficient. He fixed the electrical problem I had going on without breaking a sweat! Will definitely be reaching out to him again in the future if any services are needed!! Thanks again Brian!

Could not say enough great things about Milan at MD Advanced Electric. Hired him to hardwire my pool pump. I kept getting delays in my pool install, and Milan was super flexible. The day he came out to do the work, it was well over 100 degrees with the heat index. Milan got all the work done quickly, and even took the time to show me that all the safety aspects of the install were working.

Would absolutely hire again!

Our door was forced open and the frame was damaged.  Al came over and fixed it to where you could barely tell it had been broken.  It was quick and reasonably priced.  I plan to use this company again for other projects we have.
