Best Electricians in United States
I am soooo glad I found Darren Kicker. Darren was super laid back and easy to talk to from the very first contact, and his price was ~$1500K less than the 1st quote I had gotten, and things just got BETTER from there.
I bought a Chevy Volt and was eligible for a free charging unit via Chevy's partner SPX ($2500 value). When their subcontracted Electrician came he could see clearly I needed a panel upgrade my 70 Amp panel was not gonna cut it, but his 125A upgrade price seemed high. So I got another quote from someone, a little bit shady sounding on the phone, and it was much less but still seemed more than what I thought it was worth to get the free charger. After couple more calls I Finally found Darren, his price for 125 Amp panel was so much less that I decided to go 200amp panel instead still ~1K less than the first quote. Anyway super kool, mellow, punctual and does awesome quality work. We had a funky situation with our drainage pipe and we did not like where the line upgrade would be situated. Darren found a solution and grabbed some more supplies and it looked great.
Anyway, high quality work at very competitive rates, was always on time and friendly each day, trusted him with my keys and he even kept an eye on my house while other heating guys were to show up and I could not wait around for them.I highly recommend Darren and already I am having him quote some other things we need done around the house.
On a side note: Sign off from inspector was a pain. I live outer Sunset SF and this inspector came in said nice work for Darren's scope but then walked down my garage looking for things to fine me for violations. We were shocked that they could do that, I just bought the house so this is stuff I had nothing to do with. Darren was able to work with me to keep any added costs down that this inspector wanted.

I was referred to Perry Electric through a family friend who has been using them for several years. I contacted Ken who arrived at my house on time and was extremely professional. At first, I needed minor work done throughout the house - take down old ceiling fan, install new lights throughout the house, and fix a faulty electric oven. Ken provided a quote that was very competitive with other contractors. I stood by while Ken completed the work and was amazed at how meticulous he was. He completed the job(s) properly in a timely fashion. Everything looked great and worked perfectly.
Several months passed and I needed more complex electrical work done at the house - wire a hot tub in our backyard, complete a service panel upgrade, and rewire the garage. I knew exactly who to call and Ken arrived at the house again and provided an extremely fair quote. He thoroughly explained what needed to be done and why. I was extremely confident in giving him the job.
The job(s) were completed and again Ken exceeded my expectations. The work was done in a short amount of time. Their level of detail is second to none - from how they cleaned up at the end of the workday to how the city inspector commented on their fine workmanship.
I have dealt with several questionable contractors in the past and have become leery of them in general. Perry Electric does not fall into that category. They are professional, highly skilled and have the highest level of integrity. I have complete confidence in them and know they will do the job right the first time. If you need any type of electrical work done at your residence, I would call them first.

If you decide to work with this company be sure to get everything IN WRITING. When I initially contacted them I explained the project that I was interested in doing. I have a solar PV array to which I recently added a Tesla Powerwall; I wanted to add 3 to 4 additional solar panels because I had noticed that I had less energy independence than I wanted during the winter months. I wanted to be able to tie the new panels into the Powerwall configuration and was told that this should not be a problem because they often do this; they asked for a picture of my main breaker box and the response I got to that email was that this was perfect. They said that no permit was required because I was already permitted for solar panels. They provided a figure for the project and I decided to go forward with them, making a deposit to seal the deal.
A few days later I realized that nowhere in written documentation was there an indication that the new panels would be attached to the Powerwall (there was no contract, just a series of emails). I called and asked that this stipulation with respect to the Powerwall be put in writing, at which point I was told that not only was that never mentioned as a possibility previously, it was not something that would have been mentioned, which was not true. I reminded the representative of our conversation, at which point he admitted that he had said something about this, but tried to characterize it differently, as more of a potential option than something that they could do, and he began raising objections as to why it could not be done, trying to convince me that something else would work just as well, but it actually would not have been all that close. He then raised technical objections, claiming that they would need an additional part from Tesla, a part that they could not get from Tesla (despite being, supposedly, certified a Powerwall installer).
They were unwilling to reach out to any contacts that they might have with Tesla, so I reached out to Tesla myself to resolve the issue. After many hours on the phone and exchanging many emails with Tesla, I was able to find a way to resolve the problem without requiring additional parts; Tesla also wanted to see the plans for the additional panel installation, to ensure that there would be no problems with the Powerwall. I relayed this information to Infinium, assuming that this would clear the way for the project to go forward, and asked that a contract be drawn up to specify exactly what was to be done in the project, including tying the new panels into the Powerwall. Instead of moving forward with the project, Infinium indicated that in order to draw up plans, which I had assumed were already part of the package, and draw up a contract, there would be additional cost, and that they would now have to get a permit (which I had been previously told was not required); this caused the cost of the project to skyrocket by more more than 1/3 of the original quote provided. Of course, this made them more expensive than other providers that I had previously decided against as a result of the low estimate provided by Infinium.
Another provider, whom I am now likely to go with for my project, informed me that a permit is always required when adding new solar panels, so apparently Infinium was not being honest right from the start when they told me that no permit was required for this project. The more accurate statement would probably have been that with a project so small as this, it would be likely that they would be able to get away with not getting a permit. I am not one to be a stickler for always doing everything by the book, but I do value honesty and if I am going to be held responsible for something that is not entirely kosher, I want to be able to make that decision with full knowledge. And I believe that they should have made it clear what was going on so that I could do an apples to apples comparison with other potential providers.
Infinium was not honest with me with respect to what was legally required for this project, i.e. that a permit was required, nor were they honest with me with respect to what they were able to do, i.e. that they had no experience with how to tie the new panels into my Powerwall. They also showed very little initiative in trying to determine what was necessary to provide me with the configuration that I asked them to provide, and that they said they could provide; as a result of my initiative, not theirs, they are now able to provide other customers in a situation similar to mine with a service that they would not otherwise have been able to provide.
I probably could have pushed them to complete the project at the original stated price, with plans and permits, because it would have been illegal for them to provide a quote based on doing something that is illegal, but by this time I had no confidence in their ability to do a good job, so I elected to go with a different provider.

D & H Electric is amazing! They were recommended by a close friend of mine and I must say I couldn't be happier with the work done in my home in Aptos. Armando is highly skilled, respectful, professional and a master at his craft. I had him upgrade the electrical for our master bath remodel and add several additional breakers to our panel. His attention to detail (clean & organized wire routing), great work ethic, cleanliness of workspace and job site, excellent communication skills and punctual for all his commitments with us make him our new go to guy for electrical work! I highly recommend Armando and D & H Electric for you next job. I promise you won't be disappointed!

It is not often I feel the need to write a review. Gonzalo was a lifesaver fixing my electric tower on top of my roof. He was responsive, efficient and reasonably priced. He came on a Friday evening to give me a quote and came Saturday morning to fix my tower. The other guys wouldn't even come until Monday and gave a higher quote.

Probably a small job for them, but I needed them to replace the can lights and add a new kitchen island light fixture. Steve did an excellent job and while here he offered suggestions on our under cabinet lights. Nice!

Fair prices. On time. good communication. A car ran through my aunt's bedroom. Crazy. Stalling electric re-framed the structure, replaced the windows, floor, and brickwork. the also fixed some lighting issues and the cable TV. They even showed up in a boom truck one day. I'm pretty sure they do everything. Super friendly. Thanks Dave!

Darius is great! He did a fantastic job, and at a lower price than any other bid. My favorite part about working with him is that he doesn't condescend or talk circles around you like so many other contractors. Most of the electricians I spoke to just rattled off elaborate technical terms until I stopped asking questions. Darius explains patiently in plain language and tries to make sure you understand.

I found Zack on Yelp. I was in the bay area remodeling my mother's condo. When the contractor finished, a few outlets didn't work and he suggested I call an electrician. This was Friday afternoon. With only a weekend before I had to leave, I contacted Zack. He came over on Saturday, assessed the problem quickly and accurately and did the job at a fair price. He really knows the business as he has been doing this since 1977. He was dependable and on time and is now my go to electrician.

We recently did several electrical updates throughout our house. The whole experience dealing with Tony and the quality of his work was great. He responded to emails almost immediately, was on time for appointments and gave us a reasonable and fair quote. He also guided us on what is needed and necessary and what might be just paying more for getting the same results which I appreciated.
The work took the amount that he said it will, he made sure to clean behind himself!
He also made sure to wear protective mask and keep the social distance and appropriate measures which is important in the COVID-19 times!

I needed an electrical outlet installed in short order on the exterior of our house for a tankless water heater install. Hormoz was prompt in responding. He came by to inspect, provide me with options and a quote. His quote was reasonable and he was able to schedule and complete the job per our requirement.
Overall, we liked that Hormoz was prompt in his communications (responded to texts in a timely manner) and professional all through. Will definitely keep him in mind for the future.

Fantastic service. We needed to replace 3 light fixtures and we had a non-working doorbell/intercom system for many years. Every other electrician said they don't do doorbell/intercoms except Fuse. Michael came and was so gracious and courteous and got us 3 nice fixtures and installed them perfectly. The real surprise was that he didn't give up on the doorbell/intercom which a prior electrician said was unfixable and needed to be replaced. Michael found the problem and was able to fix the doorbell/intercom and saved us from having to call in a different contractor who would have probably made us replace the whole system. Many thanks to Michael and Fuse Electrical!

Ken rescued us from a really tough situation. I'm sure everyone has a horror story about the contractor from hell, and we are no different. We had unknowingly hired an unlicensed electrician and were left with shoddy, half-complete, unlicensed work. Thankfully, I found Ken who was able to help us.
He was not only punctual, professional, and reasonably priced, he helped expedite our project, which had been dormant for over a year! I have definitely found my electrician - I can't recommend him enough.
