Was looking for a structural contractor to help inspect the foundation of a home we were closing escrow on. I talked to William who was excellent at providing information and estimate cost of repairs needed which helped put our minds at ease. Highly recommend the company for their quick response time. Even on a holiday weekend!

We had a small leak in the shower stall of one of our bathrooms due to old silicone sealant grout needing to be stripped and replaced. I looked at the problem and decided that it was a bit above my skill level to do a good job of thoroughly stripping away the old grout in order replace it with new grout. Got in touch with Dave with some pictures of the stall and he quickly got back to me with an estimate. He and his worker were at the house the next morning and did a great job in replacing the old grout with nice, new grout, and also pointed out some unnoticed issues with the previous water leakage.
   Dave did a great job for me with quality work.

I can't say enough cool things about Mark and Artisan Electrical! Just got our electrical done this week as an effort to electrify our home. We got an EV2 charger outlet installed in our garage for our Leaf and a 240V outlet for a new induction cooktop (which required new breakers in the main panel). Before my husband found Mark through Yelp, I did my share of searching and calling several businesses. All of them were either too busy, too rude, and just unprofessional. One business scheduled us and canceled on the day of the appointment because they forgot! Was our job too small for them?! When my husband discovered Mark, he told me he was a thoughtful listener and cool from the get-go. He made recommendations over the phone based on the description my husband shared with him. True to his words, Mark texted us the day before the work, showed up right on the dot, and the job was completed thoroughly and precisely on time. Not only that, his price was very reasonable and he treated our home as it was his, with thought to care, the look, and the cleanup. Oh...did I forget to mention that parts and labor come with a one year warranty?! He's an honorable pro and I'm glad we got a chance to find someone like him in our community. I called Jim in the AM was here before noon. I asked for lights to be put in the concrete steps/walkway. Jim was very honest in stating this was not his expertise and recommended that I call a landscaper. I was very impressed and appreciated his honesty.

Came and replaced switches.  I wish he could have used the same kind as I had before

I may have misunderstood your statement. Your statement threw me off by thinking that your president is a licensed engineer in California and not just someone who studied engineering. Unless you are licensed engineer, by the state of Ca, you can not design or sign off on electrical work. Your president's electrical experience back at home, does not meet any building codes or standards in California.

So happy to have found a reliable, responsive electrician! Jesse and his team were very responsive and addressed our electrical issues that we have been battling for quite some time. Definitely a number to keep and use as needed.

About a month ago I had Carlos from Flores Electric come out to fix a grounding problem.  (Previous workers, not qualified electricians, (my fault,) installed some lights in the garage.  People from the house, picking up the mail would get an electric shock if they touched the garage door.)  Carlos fixed it without any fuss and for a reasonable price.

Last week I had Flores Electric come out again to install some lighting in a bedroom.  They were patient with me and were careful to pay attention to the persnickety layout that I wanted.  They did a good job.  Rey, the owner came out to check on their work and I'm happy with the results.   Not only was the estimate reasonable but Rey's final price cut some off the estimate because the work had been easier than anticipated.   I'm saying this not to get you haggling with him, but to let you know that I trust their honesty.

We just had Absolute Electric upgrade the electrical circuits in my mother's greater than 40 year-old home in Hayward.  Dave, the owner and his team were very professional, competitive with their prices, and took the time to explain everything that would be needed to bring her home up to code.  

He was very knowledgable, organized, and consistently came when he said they would.  He answered all of our questions competently, clearly explaining the rationale for the work that was needed, the pricing and any options. I never felt that he was pressuring us into adding any extras, but explained the issue and let us make the decision to move forward with the fixes that would bring the house to code safely.

He was flexible, and took on additional jobs, such as switching out a chandelier, for a fair price. He documented all of his work clearly and cleaned up after himself.  I was so impressed that I want to hire him to upgrade the electrical in my Fremont home! Highly recommend.

We are so pleased with this company. We had an electrical problem and called them. They sent a guy out (Rick) the next morning even though it wasn't an emergency. They texted a reminder for appointment and when he was on his way. The problem was easy to fix and they didn't charge us anything, even for the evaluation. Overall the customer service was great and Rick really knew what he was doing. We have saved this companies information and will definitely be using them for any future electrical problems at our house.

Had a small job that needed addressing.  Jesse responded and diagnosed the issue quickly.  He explained each step he took and gave me my options in simple form.  That made it easy for me to decide what I wanted done and Jesse took care of it.  I will definately use AOE again.

I had an outlet that smelled like it was hot/burning, & it made me super nervous with the recent fires & heat wave so I called another local electrician, & got sent straight to voicemail with no call back. When I called Greg, he picked up on the third ring, & insisted that we shouldn't take any chances, & he'd be on his way!!! He & his assistant were there within 30 minutes, when they got to my home, they found & fixed my connection issue in 30 minutes flat! They charged my card a very reasonable rate, and were on their way! These two are quick, professional, knowledgeable & affordable. Guys, don't bother to call anyone else, call Greg.

We needed to get an EV wall charger installed in our garage, and we found Precision Electric here on Yelp. Mark replied to my voicemail within the day I called and he was able to come out the next business day to look at our electrical box and where we wanted the charger located. He gave us some ideas on what may work for the positioning of it, and could tell us about cost differences, and answered a lot of questions we had about our options.

Later that day he gave us an estimate through email, and after I got the wall charger, he was able to fit us relatively quickly into his busy schedule since we were flexible. The day of the work he had two other workers with him- and they were all very nice, worked very quickly and left the place very clean and the installation looks great, and works great.

I will definitely call them again for any other electrical projects we need done.

I scheduled an appointment through there website just to learn the scheduling isn't doing anything, i.e. they just collect your information and scheduling has to be done by calling them. So I called and they took my info again. We wanted to either move the AC & heater or replace it with a heat pump which would cost  thousands of dollars (probably $10k+). However, Service Champions wanted to charge me for giving me a quote. Obviously I am looking for another company.

I just bought a home and it had a number of electrical issues. Jesse spent the entire day here and tackled them all with skill and a fair price. He installed chandeliers, rewired my whole house fan so it wouldn't keep tripping the breaker, installed 2 tranformers outside and set up my outdoor lighting system, and gave me do-it-yourself tips on multiple items around the house. Jesse was both personable and professional. I'd hire him back any day.

Routing of electrical pipe was done artfully. Will definitely contact Ivan first for my next electrical project. Highly recommended.

Seems I am the first one writing reviews for Mega Power.  They actually had more reviews for the LA branch.  I read those reviews and I can tell that Gary really cares about his reputation.

OK, my story.  I was thinking of installing solar in early 2022, after learning NEM 3.0 in California would be delayed indefinitely.  I started my journey with energysage.com, and got quotes from 6 local installers, including Mega Power Electric Inc.  I've also reached out to SunPower, and left my contact at Sunrun in Costco.  I finally decided to work with Mega Power for these reasons: 1. many positive reviews; 2. their price is very competitive; 3. I work directly with the owner German (Gary), who actually does the job.  No sales; no project managers.  While those sales people are nice and professional, the process is just as as efficient as talking directly with Gary.  Mega Power does everything very fast.  Gary came to our house and took some pictures; went back and shared his initial plan; we wanted two additional panels; Gary revised the plan (within 24 hours).  One or two weeks later, Gary and his people were on my roof.  Installation of 24 panels was done within one day.  City inspector initially had questions about the ground wire.  Gary and his team came back another time, and finished #4 ground wire upgrade within a couple of hours.  Passed city inspection.  Getting approvals from PG&E (final step) was a long story.  Gary and Mega Power did whatever they could to help and I appreciate that.  Overall experience with Mega Power was quite positive.  Definitely recommend Mega Power for their efficiency, work quality, and communication.  Additional data points I would like to share: while Gary and his team worked on installation, I was busy filing complaints with another company for their no show activity in the very first scheduled meeting. Oh, my wife and I already recommended Mega Power to another lady.  I probably should collect some referral fee from Gary.
