Best Electricians in United States

If I could give this company ZERO stars I would do so!  Victor came to our home because we had an outlet that was not operating.  My husband tripped the GFCI switch in our half bathroom unknowingly.  Upon entering our home, I immediately sensed Victor's piss poor attitude and demeanor.  He goes to the half bathroom where the outlet was not operating and used a similar tool that my husband used when he tripped the switch.  Victor was resistant to letting my husband see the tool he utilized...yes, he has one of those little person complexes, apparently.  After reviewing the fuse box in the garage, he goes upstairs to the bathrooms and presses the switch on the GFCI outlet in the guest bathroom which fixed the problem.  Bottom line, he barely did any work within a span of about 5-10 minutes and still had the nerve to charge us $170!  That is horrible customer service not to have the human decency to only charge maybe $50 - $60 for basically doing nothing!  We would never hire this company again.  My advice is to learn how to provide good customer service and get your attitude in check!!

We got off to a rocky start with delays in showing up on time and no communication to let me know.

However, these guys made it right and did me an amazing deal to get all the work done another time. They will be my go-to electricians from now on.

We needed someone immediately and owner Juan Marin was there to help!  We called several companies but couldn't get anyone to come asap. High Power Electric took care of us immediately!  When he left we received a detailed explanation what was going on. We will call High Power Electric for all of our electrical needs because Juan was there when we needed him.  Thank you Juan for answering our call!  He's definitely the best at what he does.

Called them a few days ago and came out very quickly. I had Jason here from S & B. I needed a flood light and an outlet installed. Was very clean and a pleasant guy guy. I would highly recommend them.

I cannot praise this business enough.  From my first call speaking with receptionist Jennifer to set up an appointment, to the repairs performed by electrician Rafael (he made it look so easy!), and to Jennifer's follow-up call after the job was completed,  my husband and I were so impressed by the professionalism and skill displayed by this company and its employees.    I quickly recommended this company to my son, who just purchased a home of his own and who might need electrical repairs in the future.   Highly recommend East Bay Electric to other Yelp readers as well.

I had a great experience working with HH.  Vince initially came out and did an assessment and helped me figure out what to buy for the next visit (this was not charged for the visit since scheduled a follow up service). He was ill and unfortunately couldn't make it the day of the service, but coordinated with Thomas to take his place.  Thomas did a fantastic job. He was professional, worked quickly but safely and thoroughly, and got all my small projects done. I will certainly use this service in the future.
Update (and why this is only 3 stars)

I was happy until I received the bill which was inaccurate. There were excess charges applied. There were some areas where I felt the team was dishonest.  Ultimately I was able to go back and forth several times and bring it down. However, I felt taken advantage of and felt  that their business sneakily add in extra costs, under the guise of going the extra mile.

We had a great experience with Bill Henry's Electric. They removed and installed a chandelier in our 15' stairwell. I called at least 7-8 electricians, and only 2 called me back to  give me an estimate. Bill responded to my call quickly and came out to look at the job before giving me a very reasonable quote. On the day of install, our electrician showed up on time, worked quickly and efficiently, and finished within the estimated time. So easy. We are really happy with our new chandelier. Thank you B. Henry's Electric!

We had a problem with an electrical circuit.  Mark (the owner) came out on a Sunday and got the circuit working within a half hour.  He charged one fourth   of what another company quoted.  An added plus was that he was one of the few companies that would come out on a Sunday.  Most electricians are closed on Sunday.   He was friendly and I would definitely hire him again.  He is new to Yelp so not too many reviews but do not let that stop you from giving his company a call when a repair is needed.

I had a great expereince with EVChargerExpert, both Kirill and Erin are knowledgeable and professional. Kirill was very responsive to my initial inquiry and subsequent questions, and handled all of the permitting behind the scenes - something refreshing to me as I usually have to be very involved in the process. Erin is a good electrician and a very hard worker, considering the scope of this project with underground wiring (see the second photo). The site was left clean each day after they left and the final installation looks great!

I had Dave come out to my house in Boulder Creek to upgrade my service from 125 to 200amp, replace my subpanel, and install a portable generator setup.   I have nothing but good things to say.   Dave was always on time, communicative, and on the level.  I don't usually do reviews, but because I've had such bad luck with other contractors coming through, I thought I'd throw out another good review for Direct electric.  Thanks again.

I Enlisted Santiago electrical from yelp. They were first to respond & quick for appointment. They gave a bid of $150- $450. They Stated that they charge by the job not by the hour.

Both Sal & Arturo were very sweet & friendly.   They patiently answered my questions & updated their progress. I have no doubt that the kitchen switch problems were complicated. By the time they left, the switches were in order, And garbage disposal and the dishwasher finally worked.

With a $50 discount, The job cost was $400 for 2 hours of work.

We have Ry and team out to replace a transfer switch and add some additional outlets.  They did a great job, quick, clean and affordable.  Well recommended!

Found myself without electricity in the kitchen due to a short circuit. Could not reset the gfci. Took the problem to Yelp. Was able to find Blue Line Electric in the East Bay with many positive reviews. Made the call and got an instant quote on the phone, and set an appointment for the next day.

Dave arrived on time for the Saturday appointment. He was polite, and had no problem following our house rule of no shoes. Asked a few more questions to isolate the problem. Then he went to work. Using his troubleshooting electronic fluke tools, the problem was isolated. He fixed the electric receptical that was working, but had a neutral short due to a bad connection.

Definitely would refer him to my friends...

Asked for consult on site. Got back to me super fast. Showed up exactly when they scheduled.

Never needed to see the final product.  Bc they advised me I didn't need the work ... bc repair was so easy. And showed me how to do it.  And wouldn't accept an offered 'svc. visit' fee when I offered.

Wow. Well done. Worth the stars. I'll use this co for ALL my homes electrical needs. Including EV car installation.

Micah and his team performed a knob and tube retrofit on my house in 2021. They did an excellent, timely job. I recommend Micah to all of my friends who ask if I know a local electrician.

Good electrical work is not cheap, but you cannot put a price on the peace of mind and safety of knowing that your 100-year-old house will no longer burn down due to shoddy investors who flipped the house before you moved in.

I hired Chris to install a ceiling light in my master bedroom. He is very polite, humble and most importantly got the job done in 15 minutes! He seems very familiar with everything he is doing and has a very reasonable rate. I'd hire him again for any electrical related works.

When the power to half you house goes out and you don't know why...you call Don!  On a dark and rainy night last week he came to diagnose the situation within 30 minutes of my call - now that's service.  He explained that the problem was with the incoming power from PG&E, helped me contact them and explain the situation for their work crew.  Don even followed up with me the next day to make sure that all was well and that the problem was solved.  When in need for any future electrical assistance I'm calling him - thank you Don!
