I was looking for some serious electrical work to be done at home and came across Juan at High Power Electric.
The quality of the work done by Juan and his crew was outstanding, ensuring that all articles in the living room are properly covered in plastic including the paths leading to it. He installed recess lights and track light in my living room, and it is one of the cleanest job I have ever seen.

I had problems with the lights in front of my house not turning on or flickering on and off. Stuart was very helpful with finding the problems with my lights and pointing out where the wires were not installed correctly. He worked quickly. I plan to use his services with other projects.

Great work adding a panel for our new home addition. Roger and his crew were neat and  on time.  His great skill is  in lighting design.  Our new rooms look beautiful and with his great lighting design we can see them!

I had several small items that needed to be addressed and had reached out to several different handyman services.  With Handyman Heroes, there was an on-site estimate fee (reimbursed if you select them) and they book by the hour, which is a bit different than what I'm used to (project based fee).  I ultimately settled on Handyman Heroes because they had good ratings and they were licensed, bonded and insured.  I'm so glad I did.

While there was a delay here and there by a couple of days in communication, Miguel was very responsive throughout the whole process, answering my many questions and they really listened to me and did what they could to address my concerns and needs - I will tell you that this RARELY happens with any contractor.  Communication is almost always an issue!  I had questions on the initial estimate (we couldn't afford to do all the work I had initially had them quote) and they assured me I would only be billed for the time spent doing the work on the projects we selected.

Regarding the work itself, Mike and Francisco came on time and did the work well!  Our major issue was that there was water getting into our walls around the windows inside when it rains, so I suspected it was due to cracks in the wood/stucco around the window frames (due to what the previous contractor told me).  Mike confirmed this when he climbed up on the ladder.  They scraped off the cracked paint and repainted the frame where there was damage and put some wood putty there.  They sealed the cracks they saw with high grade sealant.  Most importantly, they did everything the right way!  We had some fairly heavy rain over the past couple of weeks and we had no wet patches around the windows, yay!

With Handyman Heroes, there is no upselling or recommendation of work you don't need and they don't sit around on the job to rack up the hourly charges.  They are an open, honest and well run contractor/handyman business - a rare find.  Their rates are very fair for the quality of the work they do and I would absolutely refer them and use them again.

Bill Henry and his crew have been outstanding with the remodel of my new salon building I just purchased.  Bill, Joey , Howie and David and countless others from his crew, have been busting out all sorts of electrical desires of mine. I need light here, a plug there, oh and can you fix my tv? Ask and I receive! They are true pleasers and take their work very seriously.  If it's not right they return quickly to fix it. Plus, he even calls to check in to see if everything is working ok! I highly recommend this business to anyone needing any form of electrical work done.

Mark was great! He came out within an hour on NYE to fix the circuit breaker that had blown during a power outage. He was punctual, efficient, and very professional. We will definitely use Flemming Electric for our future projects.

I hired EVChargerExpert to install a charger in my garage.  A number of electrical issues in my rental home were uncovered during the first visit; resulting in a new quote.  Both Kirill and Erin worked quickly to offer solutions to the issues.  Erin did a fantastic job on the electrical work.  The project was completed the same week it was planned.  I highly recommend EVChargerExpert.

I called Direct Electric Monday for my home in Santa Cruz, they returned my call, booked an appointment for Friday and showed up on time. Dave and Sonny showed up for an extremely small job, knocked it out in 30 minutes Charged me $40.00... that probably barely covered their gas and insurance. I was happy and will have them back for other projects. Nice not be gouged for a small job.

Called slightly after hours and Hector Santiago answered (scored points with me right there). We scheduled the next day for estimate and Hector arrived exactly on time (more points)!  Price was reasonable, i gave go ahead and just a day later three of the Santiago Brothers came in to tackle the work. And they did a great job! Highly recommend Santiago Electric with a well earned five stars.

Ry and his team are amazing. We're prepping our house for sale and needed a replacement cooktop installed. Ry came up the same day to cost it out and I had him price out a few other things (old outlets, malfunctioning light switch, etc.) His team was up the next day to do the work and their rates are very reasonable considering the quick turnaround.

Very professional service. Estimate was spot on. Definitely give them a call.

P.S. We ran into a faulty ceiling light issue just after I wrote this and Ry was able to fit us into his schedule within 24 hours to swap it out. We are very thankful.

Fast efficient service, very knowledgeable and explained everything. Went above and beyond! Checked everything, changed what was necessary only and his prices were very fair. Great follow up also to make sure issues were completely resolved. Local business too because I look forward to supporting smaller companies.

I highly recommend Dave. We had a pretty large job on an old condo we're redoing. He explained the alternatives in an understandable way. He is easy to talk with about what's going on and what needs to be done.

When he did the work, he didn't rush through to get to another job (I've had that happen with a couple of other electricians before). He made sure everything was done right. Excellent job!

Due to the complexity of our projects, Len, Colby and Duncan became nearly part-time residents at our home. There were three phases of the work we hired Marin SF Electric to do: 1) Bring new, beefier electrical service to the house 2) Upgrade the electrical in our kitchen; 3) Upgrade electrical in our bathroom. Each of these three projects presented their challenges due to the age of our house and the necessary interactions with PGE. I was so impressed by the calm expertise that each of these three men brought to their work. It sometimes felt like things were devolving into chaos in other aspects of the work, but they held the center. They were patient and their energy was so easy and pleasant to have around. No posturing and none of the male competitiveness that drives me nuts. They never lost their individual or collective cool, and their workmanship was a combination of artistry and skill. I would imagine one could find less expensive electricians, but really - I wouldn't bother trying. They are the best of the best. I used to resent spending money on stuff that doesn't show, and I lumped electrical in with that. But OMG! The lighting has so improved our quality of life, as has the upgraded service. PGE was horrible to work with, but Len, Duncan and Colby were at our house 12 hours one day - all three of them - trying to work with PGE to get our new service up and running. I was so impressed. I am grateful that all three of them are so young. I won't ever have to look for electricians again!

This is a house in Oakland, worth almost 1 mil. I had never seen so much wasted wire. Seemed like the job was rush. Perhaps no permits were pulled because I doubt a home inspector would of allowed this.

I hired Chris to install a ceiling light in my master bedroom. He is very polite, humble and most importantly got the job done in 15 minutes! He seems very familiar with everything he is doing and has a very reasonable rate. I'd hire him again for any electrical related works.

They deserve a 5 star WOW. Don and John were easy to work with, showed up on time, and did what they said they were going to do with a high degree of attention to detail.

Without hesitation, they are now our choice for future electrical work.
