Great experience with Victor! He came the same day I called with a concern I had with an outlet in my home. He was able to replace and fix a faulty outlet. I was having issues with my washer not turning on and it needed up being the outlet that wasn't working properly. The wiring had been done wrong. Victor was very nice and honest! I will call him again if something else ever comes up. Highly recommend!

These guys are awesome! Easy to schedule online, same-day service, a nice advanced text about the individual coming to provide service, and the service itself (by Angel) was fast and fair, with a great explanation of the problem. Will definitely call them again!

I have been planning to install an EV charger outlet. I am an avid DIYer and originally planned to do this work by myself. Due to various reasons however, I decided to find a reputable business who can do this work for me. In short, East Bay Electric has been wonderful from the beginning to the end. To begin with, I wanted to pull a permit, and this company was essentially the only one (among a dozen I contacted around) that was happy to consider this with a very reasonable additional cost.  Jennifer, the office manager, took my request (of several pages long LOL), and communicated to Roger, the owner of this business, efficiently and friendly.  Roger has been extremely helpful: he patiently answered all the questions I had until I completely understood, be it paperwork related items or technical details. He would happily spend an hour in a single call to make sure we were on the same page, without any rushing or pushing. He has been considerate of my budget and made recommendations that may even decrease the price point. At this time, I decided to delay this project a bit (since Roger pointed out something I didn't take into account), but based on my interactions with Roger, I'm sure they are always striving for quality and will not cut the corner, something I really appreciate as a homeowner. In addition, Roger and I happened to have a long discussion on non-work-related topics, and I realized that he is a kind and honest person.

It was such a blessing to have found Handyman Heroes through Yelp. I have used them for several jobs already, and we were very happy with their work. They're very prompt with their scheduling, and they have a very nice communication ethic. They set-up the whole area well, and they definitely clean up wonderfully after everything's done. I don't worry about little things needed fixing in the house (or at the backyard) because I know I can count on Handyman Heroes for the solutions. Our doors don't squeak and get stuck anymore. The knobs aren't hand-unfriendly anymore. Our water Reverse Osmosis system got new filters. I need to schedule them for plumbing stuff. There's so many things at home that needs maintained, and I just call them. So easy! Highly recommended!

Have used Direct Electric before after seeing the yelp reviews.  Called for them to come back and do another job for motion lights, replacing an old light, with upgraded outlets, electrical wiring before drywalling.  Service excellent, received calls back whenever a message is left. Have not been disappointed in their service! Have used other services that do not follow-up and have not completed jobs we've hired them for. Always do a fantastic job and completes the work as requested. This one is for real, has great service, very professional, fair and prompt . No complaints.

Literally the best contractor I've worked with on a project. We had an emergency where there was smoke coming from our EV charging port. He responded immediately to my request, and came over to fix it within 30 minutes. Whole project took about an hour, and he was extremely professional and clear about explaining each step until everything was fixed, and both the outlet was replaced and the breaker was upgraded. On top of it all, he charged a very reasonable price that was easy to pay via an e-mail invoice. Will definitely be calling again for any future electrical projects!

I needed to install a chandelier on an 18 foot ceiling with narrow access. I spoke to several electricians and handymen and selected Always Current Electric. Rance, the owner, was the only one who picked up the phone and took my information the first time I called. In the evening we spoke again. His quote was also the most reasonable, even though he was the most professional electrician I contacted.

He sent two guys to do the job with a 16 foot standalone ladder, and they were excellent. The job was done quickly, despite the fact that I was missing some installation hardware. Together we figured it out, and the job was completed perfectly.

I will definitely work with always current electric again.

Dave is very responsive, thorough, agile and pays attention to detail. I had several outlets suddenly lose power on a single 20 Amp circuit with 1950's old-school wiring. Dave quickly mapped out the house wiring for  the compromised circuit, detected the specific outlet causing the failure (there were over 15). He diagnosed and repaired the faulty outlet and upgraded a few others all for his minimum diagnostic and repair fee. The job took a couple of hours and I learned a lot along the way. Dave's a good teacher.

I definitely recommend Dave and will contact him again for my home electrical needs without hesitation!

Micah and his crew redid all the electrical  in my house in 3 swaths over 2020 and 2021. Micah from minute one inspired confidence and put me at ease. He's a second generation electrician: he knows his stuff, all the current codes, etc. and he's from the neighborhood! He even could recommend other skilled folk. The best thing for me was that they did way less damage cutting holes into my plaster to do the rewiring than I've seen online from other electricians. They'll take care with everything, including vintage lighting fixtures. Hire him!

I hired Chris to install a ceiling light in my master bedroom. He is very polite, humble and most importantly got the job done in 15 minutes! He seems very familiar with everything he is doing and has a very reasonable rate. I'd hire him again for any electrical related works.

I requested a quote through Yelp about a ballast that needed to be replaced in my bathroom light fixture. They responded almost immediately and told me an electrician would contact me shortly, which he did.

After a few more calls and texts, we decided it would be better to replace the complete fixture with LED lighting, which meant I wouldn't have to deal with a ballast and lightbulbs. We settled on a fixture when he called me from the hardware store. He arrived promptly to replace the old one and did an excellent job.

I can't quite give Authentic five starts because the electrician said I would get a discount if I paid cash, which I  would have if I had enough on hand and had confidence that this was fully above-board. He then said I could write a check, either to him or to Authentic Electric. I chose the latter because the former felt very suspect. He left me with the packing material from the fixture, but not the full carton so I could check the brand and price of the fixture. I believe the $32 was reasonable, but it would have been nice to read up on what I had purchased.

Again, I am very happy with the service and price, but a few details about the transaction make me slightly suspicious.
