I needed some electrical work in a cranky old 40s vintage home. I thought I'd get quotes from a couple of licensed contractors. Robert stood out because he came when he said he would, and offered some thoughtful solutions that saved me a few bucks.

Work-wise, everything was done tidily. It came in on-time and on-budget, which was a relief.

I plan on calling them for the next wave of work.

Bahram made room for me in his schedule at the last minute and came at a time that was convenient for me (in the evening). He invoiced me promptly and did a great job on my project. I could tell that he's a kind, honest, and solid person!

I am ecstatic  with the work Craig did. The time, effort and consideration that went into what seemed to be an easy job, but was more complicated than I thought was done with the utmost professionalism, for handyman work could have been destructive to my home. It is unfair to compare his work, for this business owner goes above and beyond expectation at a cost that I could truly afford. I am proud that I chose Craig for my home is safe and works with what I need.

After reading some good reviews, I thought I'd send Geoff a message and request an estimate via Yelp for some minor electrical work at my house (replacing outlets, removing old phone wiring, etc.).
All I got back was a very short reply of Too busy. Apologies.

If you're busy, that's fine...but I was asking for an estimate.
Geoff, here's some constructive feedback for you:
The next time someone contacts you for an estimate, at least TRY to give the impression that you want their business.
You could've easily given me a rough estimate and then say you were booked for now.  You could've also followed up by asking me how soon I needed the work done...maybe even say you'd like to try to work something out or even refer me to a colleague...something other than your short, dismissive reply.  Granted, a referral might be a bit much but it's not unheard of.  In fact, PJ Erwin, one of your Oakland competitors was nice enough to give me a referral even though he was booked.

My point is that you need to work on your customer service skills because you've definitely lost a potential customer.  However, it's obvious you don't care judging from your reply to me.

I needed to have a small wall heater removed and the electricity safely closed off. I made a Yelp inquiry and Kevin from Bay Electric reached out. His price was half of some of the other estimates, and he was available right away. We communicated easily about timing; he came the next day. In addition to removing the heater correctly, he was willing to look at a few other areas and give me some invaluable advice. I highly recommend Kevin and Bay Electric! Thanks!!

I called Mark again for a fan installation for our new at home classroom due to distance learning and he installed it quickly and easily. He had to make four holes to get the wiring to the correct location but I was able to patch those up easily and repaint them as needed. He was safe and cared about our safety and wore a mask the whole time.  He also wore gloves all day while working too and he cleaned up after himself.  I will continue to use Mark as needed as his price is fair and his work is good quality and he's on time and professional.

Ten stars would be more like it!  Kody is a nice and intelligent young man, with plenty of patience.  I live in an apartment built in the 1970s.  He quickly diagnosed and fixed my problem, then made recommendations to bring the place up to code... and make it safe.

Hi Tech AV did a full home theater system for us including Audio Rack 4k projector.  They also ran ethernet cat 6 throughout our whole house and did a fantastic job.  Professional and timely.  I highly recommend them for any home theater setup.

I called in the afternoon and they were able to get out the next morning. Our electrician was professional, quick, and knowledgeable and was able to find our issue in a matter of minutes and resolved it. It was a simple GFCI outlet that was tripped and I missed it. They kindly did not charge me for the simple fix. I now know who I'll call the next time I have an issue or need some work done. By being courteous, professional, and fair they have gained a new customer.

Turner Electric is always my go-to for electrical work. They are knowledgeable and professional, and they have a great vision for lighting design in any part of your home, inside or outside. I wish I could give Cody and his assistant more than 5 stars because my experience was so positive! They called 30mins ahead of time to confirm my appointment. I was running a little late and asked if they could come 15mins later and they were very understanding. They showed up promptly at agreed upon time. They were polite and knowledgeable. They were able to diagnose and fix problem very quickly. Pricing was very reasonable. I was BLOWN away by their transparency and integrity with regards to pricing of parts. I recommend this company without reservation. I wish ALL  businesses operated with such stellar customer service and integrity.

This review is purely based off Doug and his responsiveness when our home was experiencing electrical issues. He gave me a quick call, asked a few questions and gave me a suggestion on what could be the root cause of the issue, and he was absolutely right. Paul came out to do the estimating. They worked well with my budget. I'll definitely use them for future projects as well. Installed ceiling fans w/ 3 way switches and dimmers, and put an outlet on my fireplace to hang my TV. If it weren't for budget constraints, I'd have plenty more work for them. Will use again. Huge thank you to Tyler who was the electrician on the job. He did a great job keeping me updated, and actually explained things to me about what he was doing, why he was doing it, and made the process easy for me.

The best electrician ever, you will get the most professional workmanship, we used Charlie brown electric all the time, and every time we hired them we shop first to find their prices at least %50 less than any other electric company, believe me you will not go wrong with this company.
