Best Electricians in United States

We are adding recess lights in two rooms. Better Electric is the first reaching us and also provide the best deal! Chris is the guy doing the job. He completed everything in one day and it was done beautifully. I highly recommend Better Electric!

Update: The owner called me yesterday afternoon, I went over the series of events and he said that he would send out a senior tech to resolve the issue and get everything taken care to the point where I was satisfied. Today the tech came out, was able to identify that the controller board was indeed fried.  Whether the previous tech had caused the failure or it was a board waiting to fail could be debated, but they generously replaced the board at no cost to me. Service Champions did everything to make things right and I'm happy everything is working again.

We asked Ryan to help us with air gap installation. It turned out to be tricky because of the existing kitchen sink. Ryan did a thorough job, which included going to home depot to get parts that were needed. However, our dishwasher was still not functioning. Ryan had to open up the garbage disposal to realize that there was plastic plug preventing water from draining. We are thankful to Ryan for going beyond his assigned task to get the job done.

Fearful of a long dark winter due to multiple light fixtures in my home suddenly not working, I started making calls to the yelp list of electricians. Luckily John Hope Electric was near the top so I called and got help the next day. John Milligan spent about an hour or  less trouble shooting, finding  and fixing the problem.  Quiet, polite, focused, efficient. Thanks guys!

Natalie did a good job of assessing the needs to improve my lighting.  She came with several options to choose from, showed me the differences and various prices, thus making it easy for me to make a decision.  I am enjoying the new lighting and I am so glad that I found Natalie on Yelp.

Ivo and his guy Miro were great to work with and I'd work with them again in the future. I put out an inquiry on Yelp to 5 electricians and Orbis Electrical Works was the first to respond (within minutes). From there, Ivo and I communicated regularly to work out the details. He got me scheduled to begin work within a week and from there it took 2 days to install lights for 3 rooms. Miro came and did the work and he was great. He took great care to properly cover the carpet and the furniture, which I greatly appreciated. Ivo and Miro were very experienced and professional, demonstrated by their advice for installation and their knowledge of fire codes. Safety was a top priority for them which made me feel at ease.

My wife wanted a quote for replacing an aging electric panel.
Their quote was 2-3 times higher than the competition.
They also tried the we need to sit together and discuss the old panel is a security issue pressure tactic to get you to sign on the spot.

Unrelated, my wife wanted to hang a ceiling lamp, there was a fan with lamp, they had to replace it with a lamp. Maybe 1 hour work.
They charged her $1200.
The guy was singing, chit-chatting, taking his time, basically dragging it out.

If you are rolling with cash, call them. The work gets done but it is your money. I probably won't be calling them again.

Wilson is very professional and efficient. He helped me solve some issues with my rigid conduit requested by PG&E for my electrical panel upgrade. I needed help fast because this problem blocked my house remodel inspection.  Wilson is very flexible to support my timing needed. And he did a great job fixing the issue.  Highly recommended!

Sam was terrific helping me fix the issues created when we had a PG&E transformer blow up on  our street. It blew out my garage door opener, my doorbell, 2 GFI outlets, my Keurig coffee machine, my Sonicare toothbrush and several other things in my house.  Sam came in and quietly and efficiently fixed everything, and at a very reasonable price.

Seriously they deserve 5 stars. They are very courteous and nice to deal with.

So I had an issue with my microwave and refrigerator being on the same circuit breaker and the breaker kept on tripping. I called Cross Electrical and Kathy picked up the phone and gave me some good advise and even tried to save me money by giving me tips on what I can do without Doug needing to come over. Anyways I still asked for Doug to come and take a look as I was worried.

Doug came promptly at the appt time, never met any contractor who was so gentle and nice to work with. Anyways he came and checked a few things electrically and gave me some suggestions on what to do to have the appliances on different circuit breakers. He did not take a single penny for giving all those advises and suggestions. He could have easily feigned to do something on the breaker and fuse box and something else and I would have paid since I would not have known any better. But he was honest  and that is what I appreciated a lot. He was not like the other electrician (see my other reviews) who came and just turned on the reset button and I had to pay him 250 bucks for that! So there are good guys like Doug and Kathy.

Next time I have an electrical need, I will call them as they are an honest couple.

He came out same day and replaced a smoke alarm that had been beeping all night. Very nice and did a great job.

Dave came into our house and completely transformed our lighting.  He was extremely professional and was on on budget and on time.  Fantastic service with incredible results!  Thank you!

Our 240V outlet stopped putting out 240V, so I called up Bob to see what he could do. Bob was responsive, punctual, and solved our problem very quickly. He was thorough in his explanation, and because of him I feel confident that I could solve the problem myself next time.

Most importantly, he was very transparent with his pricing, and that is a trait I have the utmost respect for. Hillsborough Electric has a life long customer with me.

We requested a quote from Jose for a number of recessed lights and a sub panel installation. He was extremely professional and very responsive to our project and getting back to us quickly. While we ended up going with a family friend, I'd highly recommend Jose as his prices were competitive and he was flexible with what we needed done.

I hired for a Tesla charger installation in my home garage. Sent an email in the am, very quickly Arash called me and set up a time to come for initial inspection for same day. Cale by in the evening and performed the installation which took a couple hours. Clean installation process from start to end. He knows his stuff and will definitely recommend him.

These excellent guys got so few five-star reviews? LOL, they are too low profile. I'm a reator and they are so far the best I have worked with. This time, they did a smaller project for our own home.
They don't charge the cheapest ( I have quoted several good-reviewed licensed electricians), but they are not the most expensive too. Price is just one thing, the more important thing is:
1. They are super professional. Eveey details had been taken into consideration. And their crew is very clean, always clean up any mess after working day. Very polite too.
2. They are very creative. There are several non-standard problems, and they are the only person who proposed perfectly work-around solution. I like that they are sharing their much knowledge and experience with me, instead of saying simply no or doing larger disruptive project to our walls and current electrical system.
3.  Very easy to work with. The owner Gustavo is funny to talk with:) and Alfanso is very responsive, always explain to me about details and different options. And document them as much as possible to keep us on the same page. ( we change our requirements for several times)

Highly recommend if you need a professional and respectful electrician.

I'm still shocked at how quickly they came out to help.  Got a new dryer and just assumed (dumb) the existing outlet would be fine. They came out same day and changed my 120v for a new 240v. Even helped with a couple other small things at no additional cost. Very professional, extremely knowledgeable and kind to boot! I especially appreciated the less than one hour arrival window and updates.
