Seth was awesome! Got back to me within the hr and was able to fit me in that same day. Seth did  great work, very  knowledgeable and honest. I would recommend him to anyone, and will call him back for future electrical work that I need! Thanks again Seth!!!

Had a problem with my techs getting a small shock when they were using on particular piece of equipment.  Rick came out and quickly identified the problem was with the way the outlet was wired.  In just a few hours he ran new leg from the panel to the equipment and we were back up an running.  Thanks for the quick service.

I needed some help with converting a exterior porch can light (LOW VOLTAGE CFL) to a drop down hanging light.  I went to Home Depot and asked someone there because the electricians that I called wanted up to $400.00 to do the job.  I am fairly handy but I really don't know much about electrical.  I had low voltage wiring and had to get it converted back to the 110.

Home Depot directed me to Red Beacon to search for someone.  Cole was the 1st person that called me back.  Without even hiring him he gave me so much details on what needed to be done.  I was able to get to transformer or converter box of the can that transferred it into low voltage.  I just didn't know what to do.

What amazed me about Cole is that he told me its fairly easy.  So easy that he said as long as I am handy and comfortable enough that he would walk me through it.  I didn't quite understand what he was telling me to do so he asked me to email him pictures which I did.  Later that night he called me back and gave me instructions based of what I was looking at.  From there I finally understood what he was telling me to do and figured it out fairly easily.

I have never written a review on yelp but I was honestly amazed by Cole's customer service that I felt I had to.  That really was going above and beyond and with his help I was able to get this done myself and save a ton of money!!

I will absolutely be keeping Cole's phone # handy in the even I ever need any kind of electrical done.

The response from Anthony Electric was phenomenal. They responded right away, came within the hour and completed the job of replacing my EV charger in less than 15 mins. Yovani was very knowledgeable and sincere. He is not fluent in English but was able to communicate by calling Anthony if he needed any clarification. I read Yelp reviews when selecting repair services and I am hoping that my review is helpful to someone out there. The price was very reasonable. Highly recommend. I will be sure to call them in the future for my electrical needs.

The guys arrived on time, got right to work and resolved an issue that was not easy to find.  Very professional and knowledgeable in their trade.  I highly recommend these guys.  The heat and lights are back on!  Thank you!

AC/DC to the rescue! We had an electrical inspection and it didn't pass. The previous electrician didn't install it correctly. Debbie and John at AC/DC are both amazing. They are responsive and were able to fit us in their busy schedule and come out within a few hours. It was a super quick fix, thankfully, and we're ready for re-inspection. These electricians that I took a chance on saved me and my roommate's life!
Jaime came over and diagnosed part of the problem. He didn't try to get me to panic but ensured that everything would be taken care of and that it was a good thing that I called.
Carlos and Richie skipped lunch under Carlos's advice. They knew this needed to be taken care of.
To state the problem, there were several outlets and lights in my house that wouldn't turn on because of an outlet that had burnt wires inside the wall that looked totally destroyed!
Both Carlos and Richie explained things in a manner that I could understand and stated very clearly that it could have turned into a fire!
Carlos also knew that I have a tight schedule because I work the graveyard shift so he made me his first priority.
Carlos is knowledgeable but very down-to-earth. He understands things that most people don't about electrical but doesn't flaunt it. He even took the time to have a fun conversation after the job was done!
These guys are awesome! Everything was fixed in less than 2 hours and  now I have dependable electricians that I can count on!

I wish I could give 10 stars for the incredible service I received tonight! Our heat and kitchen lost power randomly and I panicked with it being middle of winter and we have a 6-month-old baby at home. Brian graciously made an emergency house call and fixed our breakers (which had melted!). My baby will sleep warm in her home tonight now that our heat is restored. I'm so grateful to have him local! Will definitely be calling again for all my electrical needs. Thank you Brian!

As a property manager, I've seen the worst and the best. Ed is by far the very best! He's responsive, knowledgeable, informative, efficient and conscientious. I've referred him to
several others and we all share the same opinion of his work.

We hired Francisco to do some electrical work on a research project at UC Berkeley. He was recommended to us by a very reputable source. We called him up, and half an hour later he was onsite. He walked us through what we needed to do clearly and efficiently. His rate was competitive but reflective of his extremely professional and friendly, approachable attitude. The work itself was exceptionally professional and clean. He had the project done more than a week early. He's very responsive over text, which is great. Coming from a physics lab, this guy deserves an A+, and next time we have any work he'll be the first we call. Totally recommend! Thanks Frankie!

I had an outlet that caught on fire while using a hair dryer.  Gus came out right away.  He did testing of several outets in my condo, explained ground fault versus arch fault receptacles which I knew nothing about, and ultimately diagnosed the issue and fixed the problem.  Highly recommended!

I am blown away with General SF! I honestly wish that I could give more stars. I called Yevgeny after we hired a different electrician for an emergency situation over the weekend. I started getting a weird feeling about our situation but since I have no background in electrical work, I decided to call other local electricians to see what they thought. Yevgeny answered my call immediately and after explaining my situation, he confirmed that we had been swindled out of a great deal of money. We talked for about 15 minutes and then he asked if he might be able to stop by and look at the solution that had been created for us. Not 20 minutes later, he was outside (socially distant and with a mask, which was very appreciated!) and immediately recognized our issue. He took pictures of what the other electrician had done and then drew diagrams on top of the pictures of what should have been done. He was so calm and explained things thoroughly. He went through each of the parts that were used, looked up the current prices of the materials, and gave me an estimate on the high end of what he expected the costs were. The entire time he reiterated that he wasn't trying to take over the job and that he just wanted to counsel me in a tough situation. After he left, he emailed me a great deal of references so that I could better understand our issue. He also sent me the contract that he uses for his clients so that I could see what we should have been given. Yevgeny called me to talk through everything and ultimately was largely responsible for our very positive outcome. Over the course of several days, we spoke on the phone for probably between 1-2 hours. He never asked for any compensation and he continued to tell me that he just wanted to help us get out of a bad situation and restore our faith in the profession. I am so so grateful for Yevgeny and for General SF. The customer service, attention to detail, and, most importantly, the honesty and the true concern he shows for people is unparalleled. I could not recommend Yevgeny more!

One of our outlets went in the fritz and Voltyx came out on the same day not only to take a look at the issue and assess what the issue was, but they were also able to fix it and had all of the hardware need for the repair. I would certainly use them next time we have issues.

I had an electrical problem with my fifth wheel trailer and he was one of the few electricians willing to come out to help me with it. Incredibly friendly and respectful and did a great job. He is my new go-to electrician!

Mike is a phenomenal electrician who gets the job done quickly, safely and as cost effectively as possible.

We were in a pinch and needed an electrician the day before a long weekend.  Even though Mike was completely booked up, he came at the end of his workday and took his time fixing our issue.

I would not hesitate to recommend him in the future!

Alan was honest, thorough, and very knowledgeable.  He gave us options and straightforward pricing.  Also, he was very careful with our existing fixtures.  I would highly recommend Maine Electric to friends and family!
