While Seth was initially very communicative, he did not meet with me at the agreed time. It was then very difficult to get in touch with him.

I see so many great reviews for Seth so recognize that this might have been a difficult time or a fluke in communication.

I hired B&B Electric to install a dedicated outlet for my electric car and to install some lights around the home (porch light, lights in front of garage etc.). It was expensive but Rick (the owner and main electrician) talked about the quality of his work to justify the higher than average prices. Based on reviews here I decided to go for it. The work was done in a timely manner (this was about 6 months ago). I used LED lights that he recommended.. when I asked him for receipts at the end of the project, he laughed at me and said he didn't provide receipts for individual components (I told him this was insulting - the laughing part - and he apologized).

About two weeks later, I started having trouble with the porch light. I emailed him and he switched out the LED bulb and it seems to have fixed the issue. However, about three months ago the porch light stopped working and another exterior light (installed by B&B) started malfunctioning (goes on and off randomly). I emailed Rick and he was very slow to respond. We've exchanged emails since then - the last was over a month ago - but the end result is , its been 3 months and both these problems still exist. Excuses don't work in the real world.. he's said the he's very busy. Those who are considering him, keep this in mind.. he will be too busy to fix problems arising from his work - as is evidenced in my case.

I replaced the bulb on the porch light with a CFL and the bulb blew out in 3 days. So there's clearly something wrong with the installation performed by Rick.

Since I don't have receipts for the LED bulbs (these are very pricey), I cannot go and use the warranty to replace these. The electric car's charging outlet is also giving me intermittent problems now.

So overall, it seems like the work was not of good quality. I waited a while to post this review to give Rick enough time to fix the problems. I figure 3 months is long enough. I don't expect Rick to fix the issues now. He charged me quite a bit for this project and  I'm very disappointed with the results.

Cole was great to work with.  The fastest person to get back to me when I called a bunch of electricians and came out on a weekend to give a me a quote.  He was very reasonably priced, friendly to work with, and passionate about the job.  Very happy with Cole's work.

Prompt, reliable and honest.
No nonsense and very adaptable when we had to reschedule due to another crew working on flooring.
Only catch is that yiovani doesn't speak English but we didn't have issues using Google translate.

We had a couple of recessed and pendant lights installed throughout the house and they all turned out great. Jose and his crew are excellent! They were very professional, communicated well, worked efficiently and delivered on schedule.

I would definitely hire them again for future projects.

For the last year I had been looking for a contractor to install a whole house fan.  After several bids, I still hadn't found a contractor I was happy with.  I was talking to a friend about it and she referred me to AC-DC, so I gave them a call.  John came out to give me a quote a few days later.  I thought his quote was very reasonable, so we decided to hire him.   I scheduled AC-DC to come out the following week.  The fan is now installed and I am extremely happy with the work.  AC-DC was very clean, professional, and made sure everything was installed correctly before leaving.  I will definitely be calling them for more work in future.

If you are looking for professionals who can solve your impossible electrical problems, these are the guys. I have had electrical issues in my apartment for years now and every other electrician has not even been able to diagnose, let alone fix the issues with my transformers and lights. After trying pacific coast electricians, Francis arrived on time and figured out the issues in about 15 minutes. It took some time to order the parts but these guys know exactly what they are doing.

Rudy and Reggie did a great job replacing broken components and explained what they were doing every step of the way. They took their time to make sure everything was done correctly and safely. They were very friendly and provided more information than I could ever ask for.

Bottom line, if you're tired of being told that your problems cannot be fixed; give these guys a call. It is totally worth it.

Edit: I had a few more lighting issues that popped up since I last used pacific coast electricians. Unrelated to the last job. They were able to identify and fix the problem right away. Eddy and Manny did a great job and even went the extra mile to replace some other lights free of charge. I will be using pacific coast electricians for all my electrical needs in the future.

I wish I could give 10 stars for the incredible service I received tonight! Our heat and kitchen lost power randomly and I panicked with it being middle of winter and we have a 6-month-old baby at home. Brian graciously made an emergency house call and fixed our breakers (which had melted!). My baby will sleep warm in her home tonight now that our heat is restored. I'm so grateful to have him local! Will definitely be calling again for all my electrical needs. Thank you Brian!

We needed a couple of repairs done. They changed two lights with LED conversion kits and found the cause of two rooms loss of power.

They were friendly, professional, and efficient. I would not hesitate to use them again.

Esed is authentic and does thoughtful work!  He completed a complicated panel upgrade and relocation for us.  Esed's wiring and finishing are clean. He takes pride in quality work and aethetics, while still maintaining efficiency.  We would be happy to work with Esed again and would highly recommend him!

I had an outlet that caught on fire while using a hair dryer.  Gus came out right away.  He did testing of several outets in my condo, explained ground fault versus arch fault receptacles which I knew nothing about, and ultimately diagnosed the issue and fixed the problem.  Highly recommended!

Very responsive over text and phone. Came the next day and gave me a fair quote on the spot. Hired for electrical work but he noticed a storm drain issue too and was able to fix that as well. He did high quality work and made sure everything was done properly and safely.

Called to get an estimate to bring our Warehouse to compliance after a fire inspection. Though I reached out to several companies, Voltyx was the only one that replied the same day! Not only that, their team came out and submitted an estimate the next business day. Then they returned the day after to start and complete the work. They kept me in the loop throughout the project.

Dave is a rockstar! I wanted a Nema 14-50 outlet installed for our EV. I looked into getting one installed last year when we bought our house. The first company that came out said we were on a 100 amp service and would need to upgrade to 200 amps for a plug to be installed.

I looked into upgrading to 200 amps and it required permits and PG&E approving the project. I was told it would me close to $10,000 to do this project....I'm good!

I put the idea off and then decided this year to look back into it. Called a few electricians and was blown off or did not get a call back. I found Dave, gave him a call, left a message and by the end of the day he called me back, we set up an appointment for him to come out and look at the property.

Dave showed up on time, thoroughly went through everything and said he could do it without having to upgrade to a 200 amp service.

He was super up front letting me know he was very busy and it would be a month or so before he could get me in. This was ok with me, he sent me an invoice, I paid a portion up front and we locked in a day to start the project.

Due to covid related stuff, the breaker he needed was on back order. There was no estimate on when it would be in. Dave kept me in the loop the whole time, constantly checking in to let me know if he had any updates.

The item finally came in, Dave and I agreed on a date, he showed up on time and did an amazing job! He did such a clean job with the installation.

Dave did accidentally knock a wire lose while pulling the wires and it knocked out our doorbell cam. I didn't notice until later that night. I contacted him and he was very apologetic, said he would come out and fix it.

He showed up again on time, even replaced a few parts and had it fixed within 15 minutes.

Dave is super professional, very detail oriented and has such a great personality. We will definitely be using him for more projects around the house.

We called Mike for installing ceiling fans for our bedrooms, exhaust fans for our bathrooms and recess lights for our family room. He is an extremely busy guy and although his appointment was delayed by a couple of months, it was worth the wait. Mike  is an honest, extremely knowledgeable and efficient. He is trustworthy and completes the project in the assigned time. Very easy to work with, clean and punctual. I would highly recommend him to anyone who is in need to instal ceiling fans, light fixtures including recess lights etc. Thanks Mike for the excellent and professional work.

We recently used this company to find an electrical glitch that disrupted power to our garage. Their rep could not have been more professional and tenacious. He found (and this was corroborated by our association's manager) that the junction box on the street was filled with water and had shorted out the electricity. He fixed it and didn't charge us one penny -- wouldn't even take the Girl Scout cookies we tried to unload on him! Old-fashioned service with high-tech and highly-trained reps!
