Seth helped us out with a wiring issue in our breaker panel that a home inspector pointed out.  I was able to get an appointment quickly and he had everything corrected in no time.  I also appreciated that he took the time to go over the state of our panel box and verify that nothing else needed immediate attention.

We had an issue with a breaker on our electric panel and a general contractor referred us to Rick at B & B Electric.  Rick came out quickly and was able to diagnose the problem and offered several solutions.  Because we had a fairly dangerous Zinsco Panel, we decided to replace and upgrade the entire electric panel as well as relocate it.  Rick is fast and professional.  His work is very clean and attractive and he scheduled and met with the city inspector for our permit.  He even worked with our home warranty provider to help cover some of the repairs.

A few weeks later when I was having issues with my pool pump, he came out quickly and diagnosed and repaired the electrical system for the pool.  His repair included changing the voltage of the pumps which should reduce the cost of operation.  Very smart!

I highly recommend Rick and B&B.  Professional, clean, and fast.  On top of that, he is a very, very nice guy.

Our oven/stove kept shorting out and we were afraid to use it. I spoke with Cole Bene and described what we observed. He came out the next morning and diagnosed the problem. He not only fixed it promptly but he also evaluated other possible sites of problems and made sure everything was safe and in working order.  We also had a problem with our outside lights that a handyman and another electrician could not figure out. Cole resolved this problem as well. If you need an electrician I highly recommend him. He really knows his business.

They are pretty good. They came by and installed a 240V outlet in hours. Everything looks good so far.

I had some electrical safety concerns regarding my breaker panel in my home.  One person quoted me $600 to replace it, without even confirming if there was an issue. I'm sorry, I don't do business with dishonest people.

E&J Valley services responded asking for my phone number so we can discuss the issue. I got a phone call the next day and I was able to explain my concerns in more detail. They listened and went over different possible scenarios , but ensured me that they could not confirm anything without coming out to look. I agreed to their service call fee, which is totally reasonable per hour. There was a couple of things I wanted their expert opinion on - so it all worked out.
They were accommodating to my schedule, which is a big deal since I work full-time !
I am very happy with their punctualness and professionalism. They are friendly and down to earth, explaining all the answers to my questions no matter how silly they might have sounded. My breaker panel only needed a breaker switch to be replaced. They had this on the truck and it was done in no time. I also had an outlet that was not working, but I just could not figure out for the life of me. They opened it up and found the problem and fixed it in no time. Honest, hard working guys that keep it real - that's rare these days , and I can def respect that.

I also got a quote to replace a fixture , best quote I received out of a few and will call them back in the future to do the job when I'm ready.

They also do plumbing, which I think is pretty awesome. I hope I don't have any plumbing issues but if I do, I'll probably give them a call first.

Levi Mentz was great - he arrived on time (and on the earlier side within the two-hour window), put on shoe covers without being asked, answered all of my questions patiently, provided as much detail as I asked for, and was generally super-nice, pleasant, and friendly. As a single woman, I am very safety-conscious, and he was great about making me feel at ease, comfortable, and safe. He also finished the work quickly and professionally, and I appreciate his eye for detail with respect to the alignment of the light fixtures that he installed. I would definitely call him again if I had a need for an electrician.

Alpine Mountain Electric is fabulous. Brian wired our entire house during a major remodel. Beyond lighting and other electrical, he added all kinds of complicated-to-me internet, TV, and stereo lines that streamlined our systems throughout the house. His work is clean, well-labeled, easy to understand, and he got us great deals on components purchased for us. He's trustworthy and he always left our house cleaner than when he arrived. We whole-heartedly recommend Alpine. (They operate out of LaHonda, but cover the entire Peninsula and San Francisco.)

Ed at Eagle Electric was able to fit me into his schedule same day I called!  Ed was punctual, courteous and very knowledgeable. I had 2 nonworking switches.  He corrected the problems and charged me a very, reasonable fee.  I also wanted an outlet in the backyard to connect a fountain.  Ed gave me some great ideas and in the end I had him install a double outlet with switches inside the house, very happy with the results.  I am weary of strangers coming into the house, but I felt completely comfortable as Ed was very professional and trustworthy. If I need anymore electrical work I won't hesitate to contact him again.  Thanks so much, Ed!

I found Frankie through Yelp and he was able to help me within the next few days for installing my car charger. I was in a rush since we just moved in and had no way of charging my car efficiently!

I did my research and was glad that I chose Frankie! He was reasonably priced and was so knowledgeable in the installation process. I had many questions and he was able to answer with no hesitation. I highly recommend to hire Frankie, with his expertise and quick response to installing- I'm so glad I chose him to install our car charger. Esed from Ideal Electric is GREAT !! I agree. I called five other electricians on the YELP list, and, all were too busy to come out. I needed an electrician in a hurry when I flipped the switch in my kitchen, heard a POP, and all the recessed lighting went out. I called Esed in the morning, he picked up right away, and, even though he had a full day agreed to come by at the end of it, 5pm. He arrived right on time, figured out the problem in a matter of minutes and fixed it. Since there was more time, I asked him to look at another electrical issue I had with my under cabinet lights. Without hesitation he figured out the problem there, as well. I highly recommend calling him. He's honest, skilled and kind. His pricing is also good, and, he is direct and professional about what he charges and why.  I will call him again.

I'm a critical guy, and I want it done just right. It's rare that a business really makes me happy. Usually it's, OK, but ... Gus Kanakis, of Anchor Electric, turned out to be that rare business. On his first visit he was capable, knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient. Then we had a follow on emergency and he stepped right up and sorted everything out. Let me add that he came to my house right away.

This is the electrician you want to call. You won't be sorry.

Yevgeny is great!  He is professional and does an awesome job.  Besides plumbing or water/gas valve work, he is also very knowledgeable about all the other ins and outs of the other work in the house.  I'm definitely going to be a long-time customer as he is reliable and professional.  I actually wrote another review previously but surprised that it got filtered.  I highly recommend Yevgeny for plumbing/contracting work!

One of our outlets went in the fritz and Voltyx came out on the same day not only to take a look at the issue and assess what the issue was, but they were also able to fix it and had all of the hardware need for the repair. I would certainly use them next time we have issues.

I contacted the owner and he answered the call and I was lucky because he had a cancellation and he was able to fix the non working outlets throughout the home. In addition, I asked him to do a few other things while he was there and he did. Just a very professional and helpful person for any of your electrical needs in the Tri Valley area, including Danville.

I had a situation where the 110V outlet in my garage which charges my chevy volt got heated and burnt. I called several electricians and could not get a professional response from anyone because they were too busy or did not bother returning calls. However I called Mike directly and he immediately agreed to stop by the next morning to take a look. He kept his word and was able to fix the issue in less than 20 mins. I plan to use his services again to install a 220V charger as well as other things around the house. Thanks Mike for being professional, courteous and keeping your word.

We initially met with Daric to discuss our needs and the job.  Daric spent about an hour at our home on the first visit to price out the job.  He came up with some useful alternate suggestions for us to achieve what we wanted and how it would work best for our setup.  So we were fine paying the initial $95 that would be credited if we decided to contract with them for the work, which we did.

Kevin undertook the work at our home.  He called us a few minutes before arriving and arrived on time.  He was very careful with protecting our wood floors and cleaned up after the job was completed - it was as if he had never been there.  We had other contractors at our home at the same time installing blinds that needed a power source and Kevin worked very well with them with no issues. When he was finished, Kevin went through everything he had done to make sure we understood how the outlets and switches functioned.

Both Daric and Kevin were very pleasant and extremely professional in how they conducted themselves and completed their work.  Certainly Maine Electric is more expensive than some other companies and have a set price for various types of work including obtaining the required permits.  They will also have a member of their team at our home for the Building Inspector's visit. This means that we don't have to spend any time dealing with the City Building Department.  

We paid more than we were hoping but my husband and I appreciate quality work and professionalism and it's evident that the company invests in training its employees well.  You get what you pay for!  We will use Maine for any of our future electrical needs and I would certainly recommend them based on our first experience as described above.
