Best Electricians in United States

Den Electric Electrician
Hancock did an excellent job with installing EV charger at our new home. He was pretty quick with the installation and even provided couple of workarounds when we hit a snag. Overall I would recommend him to everyone needing charger installation.

Southwest Electric Electrician
I've had Steve and Mike of Southwest Electric work on my house multiple times, and they do really terrific work.

They can do a wide range of jobs, including simple home fixes to They are a locally-owned business, extremely personable, and very professional in their work. Steve (the owner) always comes out personally to check on the job, and they get things done promptly and correctly. As my house is a 1970's era house, it really helps to have somebody who knows all the particulars (oddities?) of how the wiring works in the neighborhood.

I've had SW Electric work on my pool equipment, my interior lighting, add a ceiling fan, add attic fans, etc -- their prices are always reasonable and they take care of me quickly.

Bellows Plumbing, Heating & Air Electrician
We had a new AC system installed in June last year. For some reason, it was interrupting our furnace system and shutting down the power. After several visits over six months, Jeff was finally able to fix it. Turns out, our furnace filter was restricting air flow and causing the problem.  We really appreciate the time and effort it took to diagnose and remedy the problem. Thank you everyone who helped, from the lovely people in dispatch being patient with me and the team that came to help us out! We highly recommend Bellows for any and all of your projects! Wonderful people to work with!

Oak Electric Electrician
Easy to coordinate with via Yelp & text message. Got the work done quickly. Looks good.

JMC Electrical Services Electrician
I highly recommend JMC Electric! I had a hard time finding a qualified electrician that does quality work. I interviewed  and received quotes from at least 6. Those that I didn't use were are questionable and flaky. Alfredo from JMC Electric came to my house to do electrical work for a hot tub. He was on time and got the job done when he said it was going to be done. They were kind and answered all questions I had and were a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend them.

Josh's team showed up on time, we're very respectful, informative, knowledgeable and thorough. If I could give the 6/5, I would. I hope to see them again on our next job. You have earned our continued business for all our electrical needs! Thank you!

BMH Electric Electrician
We recently moved into our new house in San Carlos and knew it needed electrical upgrades since it was built in 1951.

We received estimates from a variety of general contractors and electricians but in the end we decided to go with Brian because of his professionalism, thoroughness, and knowledge.

Some of the projects he completed for us included wall mounting our TV's, recessed lights, washer & dryer circuits, main panel upgrade, and outlets.

Clever Electric Electrician
This is way overdue and I should have written this earlier.  These guys are professional and return the calls immediately and even text you before they come onsite.  The work performed is professional and he cleans up before leaving.  I am very impressed.  I had them add a 240 in the kitchen and also added a 20amp 240 plug for my electric car.  The price was very reasonable but best of all, he returns the call immediately, comes right on time or will notify you if there is any delay and does a clean professional job.  I rarely find a contractor that I can truly praise but these guys get my vote.

Zurc Power Solutions Electrician
I highly recommend Zurc Power Solutions for all your solar needs. Francisco is very knowledgeable and can easily explain the intricacies of going solar. They installed our system 3 years ago and have kept in touch by monitoring our system to make sure everything is working properly.  I've referred him to friends and they are all very happy with their systems. Best of all, in this heat we can keep our house cool and we actually got money back at the end of the year.  It's easy to do. Just call Zurc Power Solutions and get your solar installed today.

Odom Electric Electrician
I highly recommend Odom Electric. My husband and I embarked (foolishly) on a DIY remodel for our kitchen and living space. We needed extensive electrical work because, not only were we installing new light fixtures, we thought it would be fun to rearrange our kitchen appliances, move receptacles, move our dryer, add numerous receptacles and light switches, install a new electrical panel, install recessed lighting, put up security lights, and run electricity to our shed in the backyard.

Rob did not miss a beat--even when I told him we had no plans and then quickly drew an electrical work map on graph paper. He was flexible and super pleasant to work with. Months after his work was done, I ran into a little snag trying to wrap up our work, and he was back to my kitchen in record time.

I highly recommend Rob!

Arkadiy Svist Electrical Electrician
Arkadiy Svist is very friendly and helpful.  He moved a garage door opener and capped off a light switch for me in the garage.  The job was done quickly at a fair price.  I would definitely recommend him.

Sepanta Electric Electrician
Excellent. My main breaker wouldn't stay on and he came out and was able to troubleshoot it very quickly. Ended up that it was a relatively simple issue. Nice guy and I look forward to having him out to do future electrical work for me.

He is very knowledgeable and skilled. He was able to get the work done quickly with high quality. I would definitely use his service again if I have any electrical problems.

Nor-Cal Painting Electrician
Note, the 5 star reviews reference large jobs, where Vinh was onsite. I went through a pretty shitty experience so it's my duty to share to the Yelposphere. Vinh this is my warning: you know what you did, so don't bother to contact me.

Vinh fit me in within 1 week and coordinated via SMS and photos. The Yelp quote system makes you fill an extensive form to explain your job -- he didn't read it and made me explain it all via phone again but I was eager to get it done and therefore completely flexible to his timeline and recommendations. I have screenshots of our chat I'll upload later for proof. Summary:

- Pale lime green to creamy yellow, no trim, no doors painted, just walls in 1 bd with 1 window, 1 closet. He said it should take 2 coats. He quoted a price. I knew it was high, but allowed it given the timeline and the lack of other painters available. I did not argue, and said I'd be providing the paint.
- I wanted eggshell. He said oh, no ... flat would be better, it'll dry faster.
- Me, paraphrased: I'm going to go buy Behr then. Do I need to get anything else? Like primer? He said, No, paint today includes primer, no need. He did NOT have an issue with Behr.
- I wanted holes patched. He added $100 to patch holes.
- In our prep phone call he said he'd be bringing one guy, his best guy.

DAY OF

- Vinh arrived on time 10 am + TWO guys. He upsells me on how his business could have handled room prep that I hired another guy for, and how they do handiwork and other things. He leaves to be onsite for other jobs.

- They used cheap plastic, untaped, putting in the least amount of effort to protect my floors and furniture. End of job they even put a paint can on my CARPET and checked AFTER to see if it was dry. (Dude. Use a paper bag. Or the ground outside. There was totally paint on my couch after.)

- His best painter, M, handles the cut - outlining of the wall with brush. The other guy, handles the patching and walls. I was too late to catch that before the painting of the wall began they did NOT sand and prep the patched holes and smooth surfaces down. This should be INCLUDED in the paint job, ESPECIALLY for the price charged. That's a GIVEN to check with patching.

- At 11:30ish, they take a one hour break. During their break, I check -- the wall coat is OK, but the cut is streaked and totally see-through and uneven. So I call that out and M makes excuses but I say, that is going to need three coats.

- They proceed. Note, this is the FASTEST job ever; the whole time they keep mentioning how they have to go to another job. Clearly, Vinh wanted to use me for a fast buck for little effort and who cares if I actually get a great paint job. They started at 10 and left before 2 - inclusive of their 1 hour break.

- After: The paint is still green tinged and I ask M what's going on and he says he told the boss he doesn't like how it looks and I see the paint is still drying. M calls the boss and the boss (Vinh) keeps talking OVER me while I try to explain that with low light I can't completely tell and would like to do a 3rd coat and he says -- $100 more dollars. He actually tells me to get a lamp and hair dryer and use it on the wall because he wants to solve this right now over the phone (since he's busy ...). He has a business to run and can't be onsite for every job and I shouldn't have used Behr (!). I say, you didn't say you'd charge me this price and ONLY do 2 coats to get the right color. He says he's doing me a favor allowing the 3rd cut.

THIS is what pissed me off. He starts being utterly disrespectful and mansplaining the truth away. Says he has to pay his guys (not my fault your 1 guy became 2!) and that he'd promised only 2 coats.

I asked, is my being a woman a problem? He says he's not like that and talks about his awesomeness as a business man who doesn't need to make $$ he's so successful and how life's about going home at night to wife and kids, all to excuse away treating me like shit. His ACTIONS were speaking way louder than his words.

He wanted to just be done with it and kept flipping between conciliatory and talking all over me so I couldn't get a word in edgewise. Then offered to coat 3 - the next week. He had too much of my time and money, and didn't even deserve that. So I hired a pro off another app to come do the trim, fix the patch errors and drip stains and hard nap roller marks, and paint another wall coat to fix the fast, sloppy job they'd done. He did it all for $150.

The painters were capable - but needed direction and a non-shady owner. Sorry, I'm not made of money to just throw it away. I expect to not be held hostage to get the color I paid for. I have never in my life had a painting team nickel and dime me $100 a pop for what should be included in a paint job. Patching small holes? You literally smear a spatula dude. And now I have flat paint walls that mark up easily b/c you were about a fast job, not a good one.

Women and smaller jobs beware.

Fisher Electric Electrician
My wife and I recently purchased a small ranch in Cachagua (east of carmel valley). The main house has a cool old hot tub that was malfunctioning and tripping breakers. Jay from Fisher Electric came to our house and resolved all issues. Jay was kind, informative, and professional. He even taught me about several other aspects of my new home's electrical system in the process. I would recommend Jay to anyone seeking a trustworthy, competent electrician. Many thanks.

Charles Electric Electrician
I called on the day of the day of the River Storm in March 2023 for emergency services.  My elderly clients Generac was not starting and the power went out from all of the fallen trees.   I received some of the best help I have ever received from any technician.

He walked me through the process and gave me the secret advice you never receive, get a can of carburetor quick start.

I did and sprayed it in and within two seconds the generator started right up and my customers were so pleased because the PGE was out for parts of 3 days.
