I am very pleased with the work that James did.  We had a kitchen remodel done over 10 years ago (by another contractor).   Years ago, the under cabinet florescent lights stopped working.  I thought about replacing the lights with LEDs.  I contacted James at SV Electric (through Service Magic) and he recommended that we replace the ballasts.   We did this over the phone.   James ordered the ballasts and then we made an appointment to come out to install them.  He was on time and promptly proceeded to get all of the lights working!    I actually priced the replacement costs of the ballasts on the web and found James' pricing to be the same as what I could get them for.  And with just a reasonable charge for labor I am very pleased.  He even noticed a crack in the field tile around an electrical outlet.   A screw which was installed by the original kitchen remodeler had cracked the tile.   James installed a slightly larger wall plate which covered the crack and shortened the screw so that it wouldn't continue to crack the tile.    
I would highly recommend James and SV Electric.

Knowledgeable and detail oriented approach provided. Needed upgrades to the electric panel to accommodate the switch from a gas to electric water heater. The team was able to diagnose the issue, fully communicate the available options, and help create a plan to address the situation. The team is RESPONSIVE and will definitely use them AGAIN. Chuck came to take a look at my attic fan which seemed to turn on and remain on, even when the weather was not particularly warm. He told me that my fan was working normally! At my request, he turned the fan thermostat setting up slightly; then, without being asked, looked around the attic to troubleshoot the problem. He came up with a perfectly reasonable explanation and suggested a solution to help me avert the problem in the future. His charge was very reasonable. I recommend Chuck for his honest and quality service. He is very pleasant to deal with and he seems to care about his work.

Emanuel has helped us out of so many pickles! We've used ECP on complicated jobs, panel upgrades, little fixes, you name it. He's always done an excellent job and at VERY reasonable prices. He even replaced a subpanel for my own home. I recently had a potentially hazardous situation at a property and he happened to be nearby. He got there within 30 minutes, diagnosed and repaired within an hour or so! Try getting your electrician to do that!! Thanks Emanuel!

Thank you, Yelp!   We just purchased a 60 year old home in San Jose.   One of the most important things on our safety checklist with buying an older home was to have a licensed electrician take a look at what we had and make any recommendations on what we needed to do.  Luckily, my boss had found California Power & Lights on Yelp and recommended them to me.   California Power & Lights had such great reviews and is Diamond Certified so it was a no brainer for us.  No need to look any further.  Henry came out for an estimate the day after I contacted him and we were able to schedule the work the same week.    Henry's crew (Doug and Mike) was professional, courteous, and polite...they did a great job, used quality material, cleaned up after themselves, and completed the work in a timely manner.  Henry visited the job site both days his team was at our home and rolled up his sleeves when it came time to troubleshoot some issues.  Henry did not leave my home until I was completely satisfied - all switches and outlets tested and all questions and concerns were answered.   Their pricing was reasonable for the quality of work I received and the final invoice amount was exactly what we agreed upon.   I will definitely be calling California Power & Lights again for help with any electrical needs and recommending them to any family and friends who are in need of electrical work.

Fred's Handyman Services was able to identify and fix a leaky kitchen sink/faucet, and secure a wobbly toilet for my rental property. He is excellent at communicating and will keep you updated on the work and cost. Prices are very reasonable. I will definitely be using Fred's Handyman Services again!

Dave came to my home the same day and at the end of the day. I had two recessed ceiling lights that were not working properly. They kept blowing lights out in these fixtures.He put a meter on them and it turns out it was nothing. He did not want to charge for it due to it being  so simple.So nice to see such a service.

I used LHP Electrical service for installing 60 amps/220 V for Swim Spa and panel upgrade. First they scheduled a face time call to provide an estimate. They arrived on time and finished the work as per estimated timeline. Their work was very perfect and neat. I would highly recommend them for any electrical work.

From start to finish, Safety First Electrical Inc was absolutely outstanding!  My request for last minute electrical needs on a Friday afternoon was met with nothing but outstanding customer service and electrical expertise!  Everything the company said they would do to help me, they did exactly that.  Call backs in a very timeline manner, overview of what they could do to assist me and upfront details of service and prices were all so much appreciated.  I was provided with a window of time the service would take place and they provided me both phone calls and ongoing text messages to ensure i was updated about the service and when the electrician was en route.

I put out a request on Yelp in the morning and Sam came by in less than an hour to complete the task. A few hours after he had left, I had another job for him and he came back within the hour (twice in a day) to finish this second task. I would recommend him if you have any projects that you need help with around the house.

I found Larry to be knowledgeable, engaging, and thorough. Larry responded very quickly (on a weekend) to my needs and was very courteous and respectful. I would certainly recommend Larry for your electrical needs.

I highly recommend Fitch Electric! Lucas was quick to respond to my inquiry. Scott was friendly and helpful with setting up an appointment. He as even able to get us in sooner with a cancellation that they had. John B came out to fix our problem and he did so quickly; and he was very knowledgeable. He was very funny and friendly too!

He's great! they are honest about what you need and how he's going to fix it. We like working with Randy and will do so with every project in the future.

Robert is a super friendly guy! He helped us install a electrical outlet. He's quick to respond and the price is competitive. Antonio was on time and very respectful, and did a good overall job. He gave me an initial estimate online, but when he came he explained that the job would cost more. He did the job right, supplied the materials etc and overall I was happy. I got a nest floodlight installed , there was no previous light. I also got a security panel installed in place of an existing one with the given adapter.

Very fast response. COVID-19 safe. Professional job. Very knowledgeable, experienced and friendly.

I called Dan this morning to fix a shower handle that came of and I was unable to turn off my water.  He immediately called me back when I booked through Amazon and was able to come right away. Not only was he courteous, he did a great job, at a great price. I will definitely use him again!

Just had Chris, Ace and Brian come to relocate an electrical panel and do a bit of troubleshooting a faulty light, as part of a remodel.  What I hope for from a contractor is what I got , and then some :

I have a high bar for contractors, and would highly recommend Got Watts to a friend or family member.  I felt comfortable with them in my house, and they worked very quickly.
