I have dealt with more than 9 contractors in the past 9 months working on several projects and have to say that James stands out with his professionalism, experience, and willingness to explain how he will complete the project in the most efficient way according to the National Electric standard codes. He is amiable and gave a quite fair bid on adding electrical outlets for my exterior 3-Light Motion Detector Sensor. I will definitely call James again for any future electrical work.

Knowledgeable and detail oriented approach provided. Needed upgrades to the electric panel to accommodate the switch from a gas to electric water heater. The team was able to diagnose the issue, fully communicate the available options, and help create a plan to address the situation. The team is RESPONSIVE and will definitely use them AGAIN. I highly recommend them.

I just called Chuck to have him look at my kitchen sink and garbage disposal, which were backed up. Rather than coming over and charging me $75 for a visit, he simply walked me through some steps to diagnose and fix the problem -- all over the phone and free of charge.  Not only was he super helpful and responsive, he clearly has ton of  expertise. Like others it was my first time needing a electrician so, with no leads to follow I went online and started reading reviews when I found Emanuel.  After reading the reviews regarding his service and work I made my decision to give him a try.  We are happy to say that we made a good decision with Emanuel!!  Although we did not get to meet him personally, for work schedule reasons,  my brother definitely approved of him and his partner who came with him.  Very nice guys!  Very down to earth, fast and professional.  We now have a trusted Electrician for any future needs that we are comfortable with.  Hopefully this will help you make your decision if you are in the same boat we were in.   Thank you Emanuel.....for lighting up my kitchen!

I recently purchased a hot tub and needed an outlet for it outside. Henry's crew came and did the work. I also had them upgrade the electrical sub panel. They were friendly, courteous and knowledgeable.  I was very happy with the service. Definitely would use them for any other electrical work.

Fred moved two electrical switches and installed a chandelier for me. He responded to my request for estimate quickly and gave me a step by step information of the work needed to be done. He is very approachable and his estimate was reasonable. He arrived on time and finished the job within the time frame he had mentioned. He cleaned the area upon completion of the work. I would definitely reach out to him in the future for any handy work around my house.

David is wonderful to work with. He is meticulous and careful. He is a terrific communicator and has a very reasonable rate. We are thrilled with the work he's done in our home. First, he came same day to fix a light switch in our daughter's room that had started smoking (!). A few month later, we had him return to install recessed lighting as well as a new dining room fixture.  He worked hard to make sure we were happy with the results (we are!).

I called LHP to get a quote on upgrading my sub panel. We only had 12 circuits and they upgraded to 24. I explained that with everyone at home during COVID I was concerned with circuits being blown. He also informed me that I could put more power in the panel by converting from electric stove to gas in the future.
He is very pleasant and responded quickly. Very professional!
I hit some other quotes but LHP was the most personable and down to earth. Not trying to sell me anything I didn't need and brainstormed solutions with me. I ended up converting to a gas stove and they changed out the power on the stove from 240 to 120 and we could not be happier. They even changed the stove connection from a hard wired connection to an outlet.
*Note - I had to have a Plummer come and run the gas line for the stove so this portion. Was not included in the scope of work done by LHP.
On the day of the work the crew arrived at 9:00AM and were done by 12:30. They were very friendly and kept us updated on the progress throughout the entire time. They are a small business and need our support during this time. I will be calling them for future jobs from here on out.

They say in construction it's about time, cost and quality - you get to choose two.  Somehow with Safety First you'll be getting all three!  Ronnie came to my house to give me a quote for a new EV home charger and the rest was history.  He walked me through the process and was able to explain complex electrical concepts so that they made sense and I was able to make informed decisions about how to proceed.  After careful decision making, Ronnie and I agreed that a panel upgrade made the most sense for my aging home.  He was also able to help install an additional 220 outlet that will now allow me to move my dryer away from natural gas and make the most of my solar.  He was also able to install BEAUTIFUL recessed lighting throughout our home, something that had previously be a low point of our home's aesthetics.  Finally, Ronnie was able to install a gorgeous chandelier over our kitchen table that utilizes stunning Edison bulbs.  I seriously feel like I live in a brand new home thanks to Safety First!

SM repair fixed faulty outlets for me. He was on time, honest, easy to work with, knowledgeable, and fair. I will not hesitate to do business with him for my future home repair needs.

Larry Strom from ELS Electric was referred to me thru my neighborhood watch app. I was having some issues with three of my light switches that I didn't want to tackle myself. I knew the job wouldn't be that challenging but still wanted to call in a professional. I called Larry on a Monday and he said he should be able to come out the next day! The next day he called to give me an accurate ETA. That worked out great because I was able to leave work and meet them instead of waiting around all day. When I pulled into my driveway, Larry and Dan were there waiting for me! Such wonderful customer service!  Turns out I bought the wrong light switch for my 3-way light so thank goodness Larry had the right switch in his truck. Larry and Dan are both professional, polite and very customer service oriented. I will definitely use them again for my electrical needs!

Joshua was great. Came out the day of my initial call/email and was up front and honest with me. While we won't be working on this first issue (we mutually agreed to go a different direction), I will certainly be using him and Fitch in the future.

Beyond the Call of Duty THE BEST
We're in a new home up in the Stonebrae development.  
I came home early from work, drove in the garage only to see an electrical extension cord running from the inside the house into the garage with the fridge plugged in.  Even the the overhead light and garage door worked all other outlets were dead.  Having had success with Yelp before so I made a call. That's how I found Mopia.  After many Rings Randy answered.  I explained the problem.  Else explained he was in Tahoe gone until next week.  Before he hung up he asked what the problem was.  Before long, with his family waiting, he listened to what happened, then lead me through the steps to find the problem and then to fix it.  This is beyond the call of duty and only would come from a true professional.  Thank you Randy.

I was looking for an reliable electrician and was so glad to have found Electric Chen . After speaking with Robert immediately I realized he was the right person for the job. He was honest and open about all the recommendations for the woke that I needed. I will definitely use his services again and recommend to anyone. You won't go wrong.

Antonio was on time and very respectful, and did a good overall job. He gave me an initial estimate online, but when he came he explained that the job would cost more. He did the job right, supplied the materials etc and overall I was happy. I got a nest floodlight installed , there was no previous light. I also got a security panel installed in place of an existing one with the given adapter.

Very fast response. COVID-19 safe. Professional job. Very knowledgeable, experienced and friendly.

It's understandable why Bay Area Maintenance earned it's 5-Stars rating here on Yelp because I had the same experience when Dan looked into my electrical project. It wasn't a straightforward project as I had hoped it to be. And despite Dan coming by multiple times and through his very responsive communication, I had to rethink the project. I have had a few other electricians come by to quote the project and quickly threw me the numbers, and honestly, now I really wondered if they knew what they were in for. Dan is professional and honest. I would not hesitate to recommend him for your electrical project.

Jeremy is a hands on owner.  He is beyond thorough and professional.  He spent over an hour at my home, took extensive notes and sent me the most detailed proposal I have ever received.  

He knew I had a tight budget so he separated the cost of each project and presented them in the order of safety and importance.
