Great experience working with Nick and his team to upgrade our outdoor electrical panel for solar service.  Nick kept me in the loop through every stage, with timely text updates.  Nathan and his father, the electricians on site, were polite, prompt, and went above and beyond, including helping me to isolate a bad patch cable that had taken our kitchen vent hood out of commission.  The installation itself was clean and professional.  

I'd gladly work with Electrica again.

Electric heroes really saved the day. We had an urgent situation in an apartment we manage (flooding) and needed an electrician to come and check things out ASAP. Roberto responded immediately and came only 2 hours later, after hours! He was thorough and knowledgeable. Charged a fair price too. I highly recommend this company for reliable and prompt services.

No wonder Dan has 5 stars!  I can backup the other reviews.  Dan answers his phone, comes over right away and can schedule the job super quick. I needed him to install 10 Leviton Wifi switches for my kids room because well, kids don't know how to turn off lights and rolling blackouts are so not fun in California.  

I ordered all the switches from Amazon and checked them all before Dan came over. He got to work right away and it took him a little longer than anticipated because I didn't have a neutral wire for the switches.  Towards the end of the project we realized that Amazon put the wrong switch in the wrong box (must have been a return) and I couldn't hook the switch up to the app.  Dan felt so bad he tried to stay and take it out and put the old one back, free of charge, but the switch works I just cannot link to our Wifi and app.  This is an Amazon problem.  

Dan's work was so great!  I am super weird about my paint.  Some electricians I have to repaint a wall when they are done, but Dan's work was so clean and he lined up the wall plates and the screw lines perfectly and cleaned up after himself.  Will definitely be calling him again for future projects.  Also love he is local!

I had 3 kitchen outlets stop working when overloading them with an indoor grill and a large toaster oven. The electrical panel outside the house was not labeled properly and I could not find the breaker that controlled the outlets. After switching each of them off and on, none of them fixed the problem.

After calling around for electricians Jim replied within half an hour to the Yelp request with an acceptable bid. Other electricians were either booked out 3-4 weeks, were more expensive, or cannot come out immediately. Jim came within 4 hours of answering my request.

He arrived exactly as promised, took the appropriate Covid precautions and put on boots to protect the flooring. After explaining the situation, Jim and his assistant quickly figured out which breaker controlled the 3 outlets and found that it was faulty. He explained the issue with my very old breaker panel, and offered a work-around for the broken hard-to-find breaker. The problem was fixed within half an hour. They were very professional, courteous, and had expert knowledge. I highly recommend EChiBon Electric and will definitely call them for future electrical needs.

Edwin did a fantastic job putting in a ceiling fan in my husbands home office. We have sloped ceilings and he installed it perfectly! We also needed a few new outlets.  All of the work was done efficiently, quickly and with precision and at a good price. Edwin always retuned our phone calls on time and showed up to the appointments when he said he would. He was also respectful of our home and was very clean. We will definitely use Edwin again for any electrical needs as well as refer him to family and friends! Thank you Edwin!

I contacted JR Electric after another electrician tried to hook up my hot tub unsuccessfully. John came to the rescue and corrected all of the mistakes the previous electrician made. My hot tub is working great and most importantly, is safe to use. John was very honest and fairly priced. I highly recommend JR Electric.

5 stars and now a lifetime client.  My previous AC guy quoted me between $3k and 8k (replace compressor).  Sergio fixed my issue in 30 min for $330.  End to end this is a classy company.  From setting up appointment to invoicing.  Very pleased!

Really happy with the work.  They were friendly, efficient and knowledgeable with respect Tesla wall chargers (has to be copper wires... no aluminum).  I requested the connector be placed on the other side of a door and they made it look good going up and over from the electrical box to spot

I bought a Google Hello Nest battery doorbell and decided to hire Jack to convert it to a wired one so I don't  have to worry about having to charge and babysit it. He also updated the outlet to a GFCI one.

Jack was easy going, communicative from the start, pleasant to work with, and prompt. He speaks English and Vietnamese. I think his pricing is fair. He took his time to make sure everything worked and was to my liking, such as the view angle, the location of the device, and different options for installation. We ran into an issue with the wall studs being in the way and he was able to provide workable options. He cleaned up after himself, wore a mask, and took his shoes off to do the work.

The work was clean and everything is working great so far! I would hire him again in the future when I need electrical work.

Lost an entire circuit in one part of our home, reached out to Carlos in the morning, he showed up a couple hours later, fixed the issue in minutes and we were good to go! 5-stars for his prompt service.

We had a problem with a 220 v plug in the laundry room! It was not working we had to do laundry to get ready for the children's first day of school I called him on Sunday & he could come out in few hours I made a mistake not to make the appointment & hired another electrician which was useless! I called mike back he came this morning & fixed a very complicated situation! I will always call him for all my electrical problems!

I called four electricians for estimates to upgrade our service panel from 100 to a 200 amp panel.  Albert was the only one who came to give me an on site estimate.  The others gave me a verbal estimate over the phone.

I told all the companies I called my city's building dept. to ask the amount of the permit ($118) and would pull the permit myself.  One company employee argued with me that it would cost more than that.  I did not select that company.  My reasoning is if I start off disagreeing with the company initially, what would happen during the rest of the project?

Albert clearly explained the work he planned to do, the brand he would be using, and gave me a timeline.  Albert coordinated with PG&E and arranged a smooth transition to disconnect and reconnect my upgraded service panel.

Because of the way my old house was originally wired, PG&E required a junction box for the old wiring before being connected to the new service panel.  Albert gave me a choice between a metal (more expensive) or plastic junction box (less expensive).  Both are approved by current electrical code standards.  I chose the plastic box.

The City inspector passed Albert's installation on his first inspection.

Albert was communicative and did not try to upsell me other services.  In fact, because of a time line deadline, I considered using Albert's stucco person but Albert knew I was handy and told me I was capable of doing it myself.  I felt that Albert is honest, ethical,  and reliable.  His estimate was reasonable.

I plan to have Albert upgrade my sub panel in our garage next year.  Highly recommended.

Did a great job for a good price. Were able to fix issues with complex and questionable existing wiring and finish the project in a fast time frame.

Mike did a great job on the recessed lights he installed in my house.  I found him easy to reach and communicate with, both by phone and by email.  He arrived on time for every appointment/work day except one - and that day he had a good reason for being late, and called me when he knew he would be late.  The work itself was clean, efficient, and well-done.  So far, this would be a four-star Yelp rating from me.

What really made this a five-star job was that halfway through the work, my wife and I decided that we wanted to significantly change the job.  Mike cheerfully went along with the change, and even declined my offer to compensate him for the change.  Mike really knows how to make a customer happy.

JCM Electric responded quickly and were able to come out to my house on the same day. They fixed the problem in less than an hour and made future recommendations as well! Very knowledgeable and highly recommended!

Richard and his helper installed my bathroom fan, and they did an excellent job. I am very happy with their service. The price was reasonable and they finished the job within 1.5 hours. Richard was a very friendly person and he even cleaned up after his job. Definitely would recommended!

Hired Arsen electric for installing EV charger. They were swift in their response and did a great job installing a separate sub-panel and circuit breaker for the EV charger and AC unit. Would definitely recommend them.

We called Pacific Coast Electric to see if they could help us out with our issue, and they were willing to bring someone out to inspect our property. The customer service representative claimed that it cost $89 for inspection by the technician, and that it could be used towards a fix.

When the technician came over, he did initial inspection of our exterior panel. Nothing wrong there. When we asked him to inspect the attic, he did not heed our suggestion (even though it was where the real issue was). He ended up spending almost 4 hours testing other wall plugs throughout our house and could not identify the root cause of our electrical issues. In the process, he increased the cost of our inspection to $465 due to the more involved diagnosis (despite the $89 that the customer service representative claimed over the phone). And then he said that in order to solve our issue, we would need to spend $8k to install a new panel and sub-panel.

We paid the $465 for the inspection but we declined the $8k option because we felt like it was a terrible value proposition - and it did not actually solve the root issue. We found someone else who identified the issue and fixed it under a hour - for less than $200. And yes, the real issue was a loose wire - in the attic.

This is rather unfortunate because I went on Google and saw the positive reviews for Pacific Coast, but what I experienced was an inaccurate and overpriced diagnostic.
