The day our solar contractor installed our panels, one of our circuit breakers started tripping.  They tested the breaker and said it was fine, but that there was a short circuit somewhere.

I contacted a number of local electricians for help.  Some of them were unavailable, the rest offered to come and look and then give us a quote within the next few days.  Nick gave me a price up front and came that same afternoon.  He was able to identify the location of the short: in the roof where the solar panels had just been installed! A nail from one of the supports was the most likely suspect. Nick then devised a plan to bypass the short location, re-wiring the circuit under the crawl space.

The work was significantly dirtier and more arduous than Nick had been expecting, but he was very willing and clearly knew exactly what he was doing.  We ended the day with all circuits fully functional.  I will definitely call Nick and Electrica for any future electrical work.  Thank you Nick!

Electric Heroes came on time and helped me install three 30amp outlets in my garage.  Before starting work they gave me all the options of installation and then after I picked the one I liked best they then proceeded to discuss with me the details of the project, how long it takes, and quoted me a very reasonable price.

After discussion, they did everything they said they would do and everything went smoothly.  Can't recommend them enough!!!!  5 stars!!!!

No wonder Dan has 5 stars!  I can backup the other reviews.  Dan answers his phone, comes over right away and can schedule the job super quick. I needed him to install 10 Leviton Wifi switches for my kids room because well, kids don't know how to turn off lights and rolling blackouts are so not fun in California.  

I ordered all the switches from Amazon and checked them all before Dan came over. He got to work right away and it took him a little longer than anticipated because I didn't have a neutral wire for the switches.  Towards the end of the project we realized that Amazon put the wrong switch in the wrong box (must have been a return) and I couldn't hook the switch up to the app.  Dan felt so bad he tried to stay and take it out and put the old one back, free of charge, but the switch works I just cannot link to our Wifi and app.  This is an Amazon problem.  

Dan's work was so great!  I am super weird about my paint.  Some electricians I have to repaint a wall when they are done, but Dan's work was so clean and he lined up the wall plates and the screw lines perfectly and cleaned up after himself.  Will definitely be calling him again for future projects.  Also love he is local!

Echibon/Jim has helped us with several projects now  including running new 80ft conduits in the crawl space,  new spotlights in the ceiling, new outlets where we needed and also troubleshooted some faulty 3/4 way switches. I highly recommend calling Jim if you have any need of a qualified electrician for your home projects. Very responsive and shows up on time....really happy we found echibon to help us with our electrical projects.

CS Electric totally saved my Friday afternoon. I was too in a rush checking why my power got cut off all of the sudden in my garage, so I only checked the breaker box and forgot to get the GFCI outlet. They reminded me over the phone call and, problem solved!

We reached out to Jack to add recess lighting in our living room. Jack and his partner did an incredible job and I'm very happy with the final outcome. We had contacted a few other electricians but they refused because of our wooden ceiling. Jack and his team did an incredible job. The cutting in the wood was precise and no damage was done. He also took precautions to make sure the floor did not get dirty/ damaged while they were working.

The entire communication with him was smooth and easy! I highly recommend his work. You won't be disappointed.

Highly recommend Velo Electric! Contacted Carlos to install a subpanel and he did a fantastic job. I contacted several other electricians but Carlos came across as someone who was very professional and honest. His price was very reasonable.

Another amazing experience with Courtesy Electric. I asked Mike to install an outlet in my garage for my electric car. He is always so great to work with. Prompt, fair and quick. He was even able to save me some money, which was HUGE! Mike has always been my go to person for anything electrical in our home. If you want someone fair, professional and courteous, Mike is the guy.

If I can put 100 stars I would. Im a hvac contractor and I use general electric sevices. Edwin and hormoso is reliable and honest.
I have reccomend them to aleast a few dozen customers and they had nothing positive things to say about them.

Albert is so nice and very professional. We needed a GFCI outlet added to our bathroom on its own circuit before we had scheduled retiling/paint work and Albert fit us in on short notice. Over the phone he walked me through many questions to make sure the work could be done right away and he was very helpful and respectful. Ultimately he got the outlet installed quickly, cleaned up after himself and charged us a fair rate. Thanks again!

I was in a jam because my previous electrician (another highly rated one on Yelp) didn't finish the job and was gonna make me wait for another week. I messaged Mike here, and he was very responsive and scheduled me for the next day (on a Saturday no less). He installed new junction boxes and new kitchen island pendants for me in less than 1.5 hours. He and his team were on time, professional, listened to what I wanted, and just generally chill. Don't bother with anyone else, I would reach out DV Electric first and get things done quick. 5 stars all around.

EDIT (Oct 2021): 3rd time now I've called Mike and he continues to be incredibly fast, reliable, and trustworthy. Called him out after our 240v dryer outlet died. We thought at first the dryer broke, so we wasted 2 months with an appliance tech who replaced a bunch of parts in the dryer but who never thought to check the outlet.  Mike came out on a Saturday within 2 hours of our call, discovered the problem with the outlet, fixed it in 30 mins.  Lesson--- the top 1% of contractors are miles better than the competition. Mike and DV Electric deserve 100% of our business, and more.

I am very pleased with service offered by tri-phase. I had recessed lights done in living room. Mike showed up on time and did work very fast. Ceiling has blown-in insulation so I was worried about getting it everywhere but he actually cleaned up during installation without any mess. Very pleased with lights and overall settings.

James called when he said he would, showed up on time and did everything right - he was very considerate and explained everything in detail. Won't hesitate to contact him again in the future.

Garry helped me to install a new Tesla charger. He replied my inquiry in a timely manner and provided the best solution. On time for his appointment and finished the job on time. The price is also great.

Richard is a friendly, honest,  and very knowledgeable electrician with a very reasonable rate. If I could give him 10 stars, I would. I called him last week to check on my faulty kitchen circuit breakers. He fixed it efficiently and also gave me a good advice on how to save on basic electric repairs. He called me a few days after to check up on his work. I was impressed on how he really cares about customer satisfaction. I called him again yesterday to take a look on some outlet work. He fixed one outlet but did not charge me. I was impressed by his professionalism and honesty. I would surely recommend Richard. Very reliable guy.

Dmitry's really professional in arriving on time, great eye contact, courteous, listens carefully to customer requests and delivers the end results as close as possible.  His estimates are really close to his invoice as well.

He came over once to estimate and to complete the job the next time around.  You should see his laser pointer on a tripod that serves as a guide on the wall to help visualize where things are going and helps with the drilling work.  Pretty amazing set of tools.  The job was done several months ago, and I still remember that.  No problems whatsoever with the 110V extensions that he helped put in.

I've a new request this week and just pinged him again to install new wall plugs around the house.

Pacific Coast electric is really running money fleecing businesses.

Issue - couple of rooms in my house had lost power

Pacific coast charges $90 visitation fees. After looking at the rooms that had lost the power technician said it would take me $700 to diagnose the Issue and then cost of repair.

Luckily I declined the diagnostics and just paid $90 visitation fees.

Called my Handyman who just fixed a broken/burnt circuit breaker. Cost $150.
