Established in 1984.
In operation since 1984 Bellows Plumbing, Heating, & Sewer started as a tenant improvement commercial plumbing company. Building malls and shopping centers the owners fined tuned their plumbing knowledge completing all size projects. Then in 2003 the residential and commercial repair division was opened. The service division has been a huge success in Santa Cruz and San Jose. Specializing in emergency service for all types of plumbing, drain and heating problems has made them one of the area's favorite plumbers. The thermostate had died over the weekend, and it was too chilly during the nights for any comfort even when wearing the house robe.
I called the company on Monday for an appointment, made for Tuesday between 8 AM and 10 AM.
Got a phone call at 7:30 AM on Tuesday that left a message that the man is on his way, and a few minutes before 8 he is knocking at my door.
Jeff was the man of the hour! He explained everything that he was doing, and whatever he would do as he went along. I was provided with the latest
model of thermostate, and how to use it for home comfort with energy savings. I was always getting email notices from PG&E as to saving energy,
and reducing billings.
For the time, effort and arrangements for future needs, the cost was very
reasonable.

We had a new AC system installed in June last year. For some reason, it was interrupting our furnace system and shutting down the power. After several visits over six months, Jeff was finally able to fix it. Turns out, our furnace filter was restricting air flow and causing the problem. We really appreciate the time and effort it took to diagnose and remedy the problem. Thank you everyone who helped, from the lovely people in dispatch being patient with me and the team that came to help us out! We highly recommend Bellows for any and all of your projects! Wonderful people to work with!

Had a good experience with Bellows when we had a sewer project in the Santa Cruz area. Called them for another project in the South Bay where we had sewer water overflowing in the front yard. Was able to get an appointment for inspection/evaluation in a matter of a couple of days. However, even before showing up for the in-person appointment, the Tech called ahead to clarify what we were experiencing and told me that it might be an issue covered by the city and I should consult them first before having a paid service call by Bellows -- as it was likely a lateral drain/sewer line blockage covered by the city. Sure enough, the city Sanitary District Dept came out to take a look and said it was in fact their job to clear the blockage close to the main. Thanks Bellows for the excellent customer service!

We had a major problem with our water softener tank, and Marcos Escobar, a Bellows Plumbing, Heating, Cooling & Electrical representative, came to our home in Santa Cruz County to help fix it. Not only was he punctual, he was polite and very knowledgeable with our unit and our problem. He also called with a follow-up the following day with further information as promised. I highly recommend this professional company who is also organized with retuning telephone calls or emails.

I ordered 3 mini splits for our home and were suppose to be basiclly plug and go.
After spending several hours with the manufactures service technicians and absolutemy unknowledgeabl, i decided to call Bellows.
They sent me Two technicians and were able to find the problem.
Mike and Jeff were very professional and got the job done in a highly efficiant time.
And as for thier cost, i can tell you they are very reasonable in thier fees.
They will be my go to ser ice company if ever needed! That said i would higly recommend you call for your needs.

If you're looking for a reliable company to fix your AC unit, this company will be the last company you should consider, period.
(1) The initial diagnosis fee is Not cheap, more then the other company.
(2) The technician didn't give you the estimate until you got the bill. $5 fuse, he'll charge you $179.
(3) After 4 days, system broke down, technician didn't know what to do, proposed more Expensive solutions...the system never got fixed...I have to hire the other five stars company & fixed it.

Told us they could have us scheduled and installed within a month. When the instalation date was getting close I called them and they didn't even have us on the schedule. They had forgotten about us for two weeks and whos knows how much longer if I never called.
Two weeks after the initial agreed upon start date they actually scheduled us for an inspection, not an installation like we were promised. Some one had already come out to look and recommend a system but I guess that person was just for show?
It's been 2 months and we were just told a DAY before installation that they don't have our AC unit. It'll be a minimum of an additional 2 weeks before they can install the unit. They charged us last week insisting it needed to be done prior to installation.
I am so disappointed in the scheduling department and the communication we should have received. I get it, things take longer with these services but telling us the day before you didn't have our unit is unacceptable. This should have been communicated sooner.
Who knows when we will get our AC unit? They clearly dont.

Our furnace was out and after a number of calls to HVAC service providers in the area we made a call to Bellows.
Not only did Bellows show up the same day (now that's great service!) but the technician, John Costales, was professional, courteous, and knew his stuff.
John was able to diagnose the problem and suggest how to most economically repair our system.
Would certainly recommend if you need HVAC service. We are a Bellows customer now.

We were pretty unsatisfied with this install. We booked a new HVAC through Costco but were pretty disappointed in the execution. It's been two months since the day they started, and we are still having them come fix things before we can get the inspection. We were without heat for days during a heat wave, because they didn't have parts they needed. (Why didn't they know what they needed before they started?) Then they needed more parts and we had to wait another month. They cut the wiring to our drip irrigation/landscaping and put it back together wrong, which we didn't figure out until half of our garden died from not getting watered. They put the metal pieces on our artificial turf while they were installing which burned parts of the grass which now looks awful. They've taken no responsibility for any of these errors, and claimed they couldn't have been responsible for the burned grass even though it wasn't there the day before the install and then it was. They put the thermostat in a new and very odd place without calling me at work to discuss it first (in between a picture frame and a door jam in a very visible area) and said they'd move it but of course it would damage the wall.. Ugh. Just overall very not slick, not responsive, not responsible for their screw-ups, and not competent.
I'm not sure why Costco uses them. :(

Installed new water softener and reverse osmosis great service exceeded my expectations
I wanted to wait until our permit was approved before leaving a review and it happened today.
I met Bellows through the Costco Services program when I requested a quote to replace our 30+ year old furnace and to add a/c. Carl came around about two weeks later and spent a good amount of time looking over our house and then explaining our options. I felt he was very knowledgeable and trusted his suggestions. Normally, I always get at least three quotes, but by the end of his presentation, I was comfortable enough to sign the agreement. Due to their backlog, I was warned that our installation wouldn't happen for another six weeks, but we were okay with that.
About a week after the consultation, Russell, the project manager, came to our house to check out the logistics as we were moving the furnace from a closet to the attic. He answered all of my husband's questions to the point that my husband also felt Bellows knew what they were talking about.
When the installation date arrived, a team of four worked three and a half days to complete the work. Each day, they arrived promptly and left the house super clean at the end of the day. Bellows arranged for another company to do the HERS test which is required for the permit and we passed with no issues.
Today, the city inspector came and Bellows sent a technician to answer any questions he may have and our permit was approved!
Bellows has been very responsive and supportive every step of the way and now that we've used both our new furnace and a/c without issues, we can vouch for their knowledge and skills.
I have already recommended Bellows to two friends and would not hesitate recommending them to you!
I contacted Bellows Soquel to replace my aging Lennox Pulse and Lennox air conditioner, as well as the ducting in my crawlspace and attic. Everyone from Carl the initial salesman to Russel the project manager to the office staff was friendly, professional and willing to answer the many questions I had. Mikey, the install manager was an outstanding leader of his crew, including Brian, Jamie, Alvie and Rudy. All of them were efficient and hard working professionals. My new Lennox system is up and running. I'm amazed at how they were able to tackle a complicated job and perform at such a high level. They left my garage and home looking like they'd never been here. Everything is carefully and precisely installed. I'd give each of them ten stars if I could. All of my questions were thoughtfully and thoroughly explained. Bellows is a top notch company and you won't go wrong by choosing them. One happy customer here.
I contacted Bellows for a quote on air conditioning in my new house. They are very responsive and professional. Gave me different options without being pushy. I chose Bellows to do the work and they responded quickly. They took precautions to protect floors and carpets while accessing the attic. Workers were polite and hard working. Best of all, they followed COVID 19 precautions while doing their work. Everything was finished on budget and under time! I selected Bellows for our annual preventive maintenance on air conditioning, heater, and tankless water heater. I'm sure they will deliver! Strongest recommendation!
Bellows is an overly expensive Company with poor customer service. They charge you excessive fees to fix things that are under warranty and do a pretty poor job if it. I like Costco and got in touch with Bellows through there. They make Costco look bad.
