We hired Voltz Electric to install 2 light fixtures in guest bedrooms and recessed lighting in our master bedroom. 3 crew members came on time and started work after discussing with my husband what the process was going to be. After we okay'd everything, my husband left for work. Shortly after, James came by the house and told me that the recessed lighting fixtures that we had weren't made anymore and that the ones available now were similar, but not the same. I said that was fine and they went to purchase the materials.

When they came back, they had almost finished the light install in our baby's nursery. They had already cut the hole in the guest bedroom to start work on that and then they realized that they didn't have attic access to that area. They explained that in order to work on that part of the room, they would need to drill several holes to run the wire. The reason why I am giving them 3 stars is because they really should have checked to make sure they could do the light before putting a hole in my ceiling. Now we have a patch job that doesn't look good that could have been avoided had they actually looked at the access before cutting a hole in the ceiling. I know they aren't drywall specialists but they wouldn't have had to do anything with that ceiling had they looked before acting.

Then they looked for access to the master bedroom and discovered the same thing. James then came back to survey the area and confirmed that they wouldn't be able to put the lights in the master or guest bedroom unless we wanted to drill into the sheetrock, which would then entail a replacement of it and painting of it. That would also cost us an additional couple of thousand dollars. We decided against it and paid them for the one room that they did. However, we were quoted for a whole job so I guess there was a 3 room discount of some kind. But since we only did 1 room in the end, we ended up paying $155 more than we anticipated for the one room.

They were very clean. They put down plastic wherever they worked and also covered their shoes. They vacuumed everything up when they were done and did a great job explaining what the issue was. I only wish they were able to come up with a solution that wouldn't have cost us an additional couple thousand dollars. They were really great to work with and would highly recommend them for their professionalism and their knowledge. I would just make sure they do their research before starting.

**UPDATE** Matt, the owner, read my comments on yelp and immediately contacted us. He came over to our house, checked on the work himself and decided that there was a way they could do the lights without cutting into the sheetrock. He offered to have someone come do the texturizing and finishing of the ceiling out of their pocket if we decided not to have them do our lights. He gave me back the check I gave them on Friday and was extremely apologetic. He said that his star guy, Mike, had a cancellation and could work on the lights today if I wanted. I agreed to the extremely reasonable price and they were here to work on the lights by noon. Mike assessed the situation with Matt and said they should have no problem doing the lights the way we wanted. They finished in a timely manner, did exactly what we wanted, and were very professional and very kind. I would DEFINITELY recommend them as this is the best customer service experience I have had in a really long time. Matt and his team are exceptional!!

I really appreciated Chase's service - his rates were reasonable, he came by within an hour of a call, and while my issues ended up being pretty minor, one of them didn't even have to do with electricity ;), he really helped and made things so much easier for my elderly dad! Recommend!

Their Tesla charger installation was very professional. Our installation was done last year, and we have been happy customers since then (fun to have a gas station at home). There has not been a single problem since the installation last year. Also thanks to their consultant for recommending the right type and location of the panel.

I have interviewed and worked with various electricians in the past ten years in the Bay Area and Minh is a true professional who does his job with pride. He confirmed future appointments, showed up on time, knows his work, and he had the cleanest drop-cloth I've ever seen from all the various contractors I've worked with in the past. Also, his assistant was very attentive and diligent, which is a reflection of his employer. I will be contacting Minh for all future electrical work.

Roger and team are super professional and efficient.  They know the scope of work and offer expert advise.  Formosa team handled the project with such ease.  There is very little room for any question as to what and how is going to happen.  Roger kept me updated through out the planning phase to completion.

Any questions I have, Roger has answer that shows the experience he and his team have.  We installed 2 EV chargers (1 Tesla charger) with Roger and he recommends best location and why he suggested that way.  I've already recommended his team to my network.

Duke missed two confirmed appointments, the first one not even giving advanced notice. For the second, he changed the time to later cancel it. He might be good, but I didn't have the opportunity to actually see it.

I avoid hiring contractors like the plaque so giving this 5 star review says a lot about CPL.  I have an old Zinsco electric panel which needed to be upgraded in order for me to install heat pumps for the upcoming heat wave. Henry, the owner was responsive, informative and extremely price competitive.  He and his crew, including the stucco contractor (A+) were punctual, professional and fast.  

I added several items to the job up to the date of the job and he worked with me through the changes without any issues.  I have also contacted him a dozen times throughout the process and he would always promptly call me back whether it was the weekend, day or evening.  I would highly recommend Henry and his crew and consider CPL the go-to team for all my future electrical needs.

We had an issue that knocked off power from most of the outlets in our bedrooms. Called Adary Electric based on Yelp reviews. They were able to get some one come in and diagnose & fix the issue within couple of hours.

I thought it were slightly expensive (but cannot complain given the fast service :-) ).

Couldn't be happier with Veterans Lighthouse Electric LLC's service! I called to get a price on on changing an obsolete electrical panel to
a new Square D panel. They gave me a very fair price then came out at 9 o'clock the next morning and installed it. Robbie and his assistant Darrell were on time, very polite, very knowledgeable and professional. I highly recommend them!
