I have been utilizing SVH/business owner Saul for 15 or 20 years, and I can firmly say, they are great at what they primarily do, and have many other, not listed, services they can provide. For example, in addition to the regularly scheduled landscaping service (which by the way, you can set a watch to - they are extremely consistent in their regular appearance, and always do as good job), they've mended my shared fence, trimmed my trees, installed pavers, even offered to fix my roof after storm damage. In a few weeks, I am having them demolish an old hot tub and a pond (real eyesores), which they're adding pavers to afterwards. Their prices are fair, and I've been with their crew so long, I've literally watched some of them grow up. I am very happy to give them the strongest recommendation!

While the owner, Saul V replied to my on-line quote well within the 2 hour time frame, :) , he replied that they don't service my area. :( Yet, according to the Service Area Map (E of the 303, North of the I-10), I am well within the service area (Litchfield and Bethany Home Roads). :?

Had the map been accurate, it would have saved me and the company time. And, a less than desirable review would never have been posted.

Excellent company - great experience. Recently moved into a home and needed the back yard landscaped, including irrigation (front and back) installed, trees and grass sod planted and patio extension completed. Saul was very prompt in replying to our request for a bid, and in starting and completing the agreed services.

Saul and his team are very professional, attending to all the details and patiently answering our questions when we had them. I wholeheartedly recommend SVH - excellent work at a good price.

Wow! Our yard NEVER looked so good! We've lived in the Valley for nearly 20 years, have had several different landscaping company's, but these are the absolute best! And the owner, Saul, is easy to communicate with, always able to tackle the hard jobs you need done, and is an absolute perfectionist!!! All this and reasonable, too!

They have done our maintenance now for months, and they are always consistent, dependable, and EXCELLENT. And they have all the professional equipment and crew to tackle even the biggest jobs, quickly and done right the first time. I just can't say enough about how ecstatic I am about their service, and every time they come, my husband and I still rave about how great our yard looks! (And since the house was in foreclosure, you can only imagine what it used to look like!)

SVH Landscaping did a wonderful job trimming our 8 very tall palm trees, a large pine tree, removing some shrubs and cleaning up all the debris. I had contacted several local landscapers and they were by far the most prompt with returning my inquiry, they came out quickly to give us a quote and completed the whole job in less than three business days from the time I initially sent the request. The guys were on time, friendly and very hardworking. I would highly recommend them for any of your landscaping needs.

Last year I used Saul's company to clean up a palm tree and some fruit trees. I was quite impressed by their work ethic...these guys worked HARD on my project, so I thought it good to have them back again this year.

Saul came on Tuesday and gave me a quote to trim my palm and remove an old raised planter from my backyard. We scheduled for Thursday morning at 0645. Saul and his crew did not show up, nor did he call. I waited til after 0800 and still no Saul, so I called him. He had forgotten to schedule the project. This was not good, as we had scheduled things around his visit.

Although Saul offered to make things right (trim my palm for free), I thought it best to find another company to handle my projects going forward.

I called SVH Landscaping about a monthly yard service plan...Saul called me back...let me say that again , he called me back after the first call...I didn't have to call him 10 times...amazing....the work he and his crew did was superb and detailed. I am in the Aerospace industry so it takes alot to impress me. The crew did a great job and listen to my comments..neat and detailed.

I think I found my solution in SVH....looking forward to working with them on our other projects...did I mention he called me back, oh and was at the job on-time when he said he would be......don't hesitate to call these guys...I was glad we did.

I gave them 1 star because they answered the phone. Other than that I called and we set up an appointment between 5p - 6p - THEY NEVER SHOWED UP!!! What irritates me the most is not EVEN a call!!! THAT'S BUSH LEAGUE!!!!

They were coming to my home every 2 months to do landscaping on my backyard but I fell victim today to the dreaded no-show without notifying that seems to be an epidemic among Phoenix landscapers. I had been trying for 2 weeks to contact them to schedule a date with either no response or a half response like a day but then no time set up. Finally, we were able to set for today at 7am and then...no show. If they're too busy or are unable I rather a company be honest with me and tell me up front so I can start looking elsewhere as soon as possible rather than waste my time for the past 2 weeks waiting. But I waited for them because I figured they were really busy and I liked the job they did the 3 other times they came and did my yard. It's too bad they don't take that same consideration with their customers.

Very response and good work done. Contacted them via Yelp and they responded within 20 minutes. Estimate was very fair for a quick backyard cleanup of my stone yard. Job done the same morning as they were nearby. They had a team of three who did it quickly and efficiently. I'd hire them again.

This company is excellent. I just bought an old house in Sun City and the huge yard was a horrible mess. 5 overgrown fruit trees, 4 giant overgrown pineapple palms, weeds, dead cacti, and a completely broken irrigation system. This was a huge job. We got wuotes from other landscapers that were unreasonable. But Saul gave us a very fair quote. He and his expert crew showed up on schedule. Trimmed our trees, and cleaned up our yard to perfection. He repaired all of our broken irrigation and got everything working properly. We could not be happier! We will use them for all of our landscaping from now on. Fabulous job guys!

His team will complete the planned work and any additional items that I may need to be addressed. They are always professional and ensure the yard free and clear of debris. I initially called SVH to trim several plants and bushes in my pool area. Saul came out within a couple of hours, gave me a very reasonable quote, and had his guys there the same day to do the job.

Because I was so impressed with their work, I asked Saul to give me an estimate on a bigger project: a brick border in my front yard, a stepping stone walkway, and a retaining wall in my back yard. I showed him pictures that I had found on the internet showing what I wanted everything to look like. Saul's team did everything exactly they way I wanted it. Saul came over to inspect the work that his guys had done and to make sure I was satisfied.

I found Saul easy to contact although I never used the estimate request option on yelp. I just called the number listed - it's his cell so you can text it as well. Also he speaks very good English if that's a concern for you.

These guys are amazing! Came out and gave me a quote right after I called. Good price and they did the work the very next day. I'm in a rental and wasn't sure how to work the sprinkler system, they helped me and set it up. Also the front yard sprinkler was broken and they fixed it for free! I will be using them for future lawn care!

I finally found my perfect landscapers. I went through 3 before I found SVH. My tale of woe is long and it has ended with SVH. They do top quality work at reasonable rates with great energy. I love these guys. I've had them do hard scape installations, plantings, maintenance. They do it all well and well-priced. They are also the easiest people to work with. Straightforward. Efficient. They work fast. Meticulous. I mean every little detail. And they are super nice. Good energy people. Lovely to have around. Hire them! You won't regret it. On time. On quote. On quality. Could go on and on about all the ways they are great and other companies (I've tried small to the largest in the valley)are very bad.....

Well, this is first time I have been disappointed with A prospective business on Yelp. On Thursday, I found this company and was VERY excited about the reviews and success of other Yelpers. So I called Saul on Thursday and left a voice mail. I never received a call back. Surely, something had to be wrong with him as all the other reviews were raving on the fast call backs etc. so I call on Friday morning and Saul answers! So I set up an appointment for Saturday afternoon. He requests I text him my address and I do so. Well, at 6:30 Saturday night nobody called, showed up or texted. I texted Saul with no reply. So onto another landscape service I search. Sad that my experience was completely opposite to those posted within.

Saul and shared many calls/texts and he even came out promptly to quote pavers, gave me a quote and booked date for work, and he came out as promised, worked hard and long all day to get got job done at price quoted. Very courteous. Overall, concise and great work effort. Would definitely recommend Saul to anyone! Thanks again.

Needed to update review and add....very nice guys, punctual, hard working, cleaned up afterwards, kept to their quote for sidewalk pavers, even though I'm certain they ran over the time that they initially planned for the job. Definitely hire this company, you wouldn't be disappointed!

As I said in a previous review, I was so happy with their work on my watering system that I had them come back a bit later to paint a stucco wall around my house. Saul came with a collegue on time and set to work. They did a lot of extra little things as they painted the wall. For example, all the plants were covered due to freeze condition. They removed the covers and replaced them after the paint had had time to dry. My wife who is a severe critic remarked about how nice it looked. They came on time, didn't mess around, worked hard and completed the job in less than a day.

Great company. I recently purchased a used home and needed the yard cleaned up and sprinkler system checked out. They came over at the scheduled time and had the yard completed in a matter of an hour. This even included removing a dead Palm tree and checking out the sprinklers. I was so impressed with the great job along with the honest and trustworthy way they operated I signed up to have them do my weekly yard maintenance. I also had them plant Palm tree's and do some sprinkler repair. Great group of guys. If you need any landscaping work. I would not look any further then these guys.

I just moved to Phoenix a couple months ago and the previous owners of my home did not maintenance the yard in some time. I needed to get the work done quickly as I have visitors coming in for the holidays. I called Saul on a Friday evening and he was able to come out on Sunday to give me an estimate. We scheduled to have the work done the following Wednesday. They trimmed all the trees and bushes, removed all my weeds and dead plants and got the yard all cleaned up and looking good again. The guys were nice and got the job done in 1.5 hours. I'm very happy with the service and will definitely use Saul and his team again!

I bought a home that wasn't well maintained and they cleaned/trimmed everything, they also did a great job trimming large trees, removing mistletoe, repairing existing and adding new irrigation. We love these guys! First off they speak fluent english so communication is smooth! They arrive early, appropriately dressed and ready for work. These guys are flexible and make sure they trim what you want and how you want it done. I sometimes trim ahead of them so they pick up debris and haul it off! They always leave our yards looking spotless and beyond our expectations! We use them for our rental property as well as residence and really appreciate their service!

We recently bought a house and wanted to update and improve the landscaping. We called Saul to get an estimate. He returned our call promptly and set up a time to come out. The estimate for replacing existing granite, re-contouring areas, and replacing most of the existing plants was VERY reasonable. Saul was very professional and responsive to all of our requests. His crew showed up on time, was hard-working, and took pride in their work. Saul even checked the irrigation system and took care of a few issues with no problem. We are very happy with the results. Unbelievable! My 83 year old gardener retired and I thought I would never find any one else that could do as well. I was wrong, they removed oleanders, trimmed trees, cut, raked and cleaned the entire front and back yards and even took down the weeds along the fence line so the city wouldn't send me a letter. Thank you to SVH Landscaping Services and the crew that did all of the work at our home. We made an appointment with them for a quote on the work that needed to be done. They showed up on time for the consultation and gave a very competitive quote on the scope of work. When we chose for them to do the work (a 2 day project), they showed up on time both days and worked diligently until the work was completed. The clean up in our front yard looks great, as well as the sod laid in the back yard. Also, the new irrigation system in the backyard for the lawn and trees is working great. After they finished their work they cleaned up and the finished product looked great. I would highly recommend this company.

My wife and I recently bought a house and wanted to update and improve the landscaping. This included replacing the existing crushed granite, re-contouring a couple of areas, replacing most of the existing plants with new, and checking the drip irrigation system. Saul, the owner, was very professional and responsive to all of our requests. His crew did very meticulous work and seemed to take pride in doing an excellent job. They completed the project in just two days, and we could not be more satisfied with the result. The yard looks great--even better than we had hoped and for a very fair price.
