After sending out several bids for a new side yard gate, Lev from Handy Gate Man was very quick to answer. He remained responsive through the entire conversation, which was very nice. He offered the best price overall and visited our home to get a sense of where we wanted the gate, how it would be oriented, what color, etc. He spent time determining the best way to do the job. His schedule was a little busy (a good thing) but he was able to install our gate within a week or so!

Lev showed up on time and went straight to work. He was cautious in securing the fence to our cinder block wall and worked hard to cement the other part of the fence into the ground. Overall, Lev did a fantastic job- we love the new gate. Our pups can now access this new fenced area from a dog door and enjoy being outdoors while kept away from our pool. So worth the investment!

Very professional company. From first contact through installation they kept us informed. It was a couple of week wait for them to come out to give us a quote and then several more weeks for the items we ordered to be delivered and installed but they met every given deadline. The person who came out to give us a quote was knowledgeable and took accurate measurements. The installer was very professional and did a great job. One of the doors had a part that was not working right and he put in the request for service and the office immediately scheduled a time to come out and fix. The doors are beautiful and everyone has commented on what a nice addition to our home they are. These are so much better than the ones we have had installed on previous houses. You notice the quality every time you look and open the doors. I cannot recommend this company enough, these doors will last a couple of lifetimes.

This guy gave me an estimate of about $200.00 less than other vendors and I should have stayed clear. He seemed very reasonable at 1st to install a new gate in my backyard. I specified that I wanted a wood fence with a black frame. He said it would take two weeks, he took half of the cost up front for a deposit. Week three rolled around with no contact so I had to text him multiple times to get a response which was another week. Week four went by and after about 5 texts and emails I finally got a response that he would be out the very next day and needed a 10-hour window to show up whenever he got to my house. I told him that I needed more of a notice and that 10-windows were not going to work, and he didn't respond again. I was about to take him to the BBB when he finally responded and sent two guys over to install my gate. The installers were very polite and did great work but the gate is the wrong frame color and the wood looks like particle board with plastic coating. I took the gate to be done with Abraham and will complete the job I paid him to do myself. I understand these are VERY busy right now but I was also going to pay him big $$ to paint my house and install a large slab but I won't ever deal with him again.

Installed a new entry gate for my backyard.  Came out for a quick estimate right away.  Then completed the install while I was at work.  Definitely recommend.

They did a great job replacing/repairing the hinges and connecting bars on my iron gate. I found them responsive, friendly, reasonable and easy to work with. The turn-around time was excellent and I would highly recommend them for any metal installation or repair. Mark was easy to communicate with and seemed to care about the end result. 5 Stars!

This company is terrific- the iron railings and spiral staircase they built for us are built so well, the welding is so good!  Juan is easy to work with and he most definitely keeps in communication all through his projects. His work crew is made up of good guys, esp his Dad. Pricing is very very fair.

We reached out to Paul to build us a new gate and to modify an existing metal wall to our yard. He was wonderful to work with and very responsive. His completed work far exceeded my expectations. He is truly an artist who takes pride in his work.

I found the company on Yelp and called them.  They had me text pictures of my fence to them and they gave me a quote in writing.
When Alex arrived we reviewed the work to be done, discussed how it would be done and confirmed the price.
He performed the work and actually did a bit extra at no charge.  He was timely in the work and very professional.

Gates by Geoff did a great job removing my old gate and replacing it with a new one! The finished product looked better than I expected.

This rating is long overdue. My husband and I had a fantastic experience with Bob Corelli at Sunset fence. They demo'ed out the common wall 100' chain link fence, trenched, poured a concrete foundation, set rebar and added a 100' long, 6' high block wall (to perfectly match my other block wall). They also repaired deteriorating block at two separate places on my other wall (free of charge). Total job was about $3500 and after permits were in place, it took 2 days to complete.

Recently widen our RV gate and Ron followed up when he said he would and got the stucco guy to come out (even though it was a new contractor for him) when planned and he did a great job on the stucco.  The gate looks great and Ron's pricing was very fair.

Mike came by to consult with us on the courtyard gate we were thinking to have put it. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. He provided us with a reasonable quote in a timely manner. He set the right expectation. Our gate was installed as scheduled and we are very happy with the product!

We bought a pool net from them a year and a half ago after our dog slipped and fell in the pool.  It's not the easiest thing to get on and off, but it works way better than a fence for our yard layout.  And it gives me great peace of mind to know my dogs and my kids can safely play in the yard.  It's sturdy.  The guy laid on it after installation and he didn't even touch the water.  We've had to call them twice for maintenance.   Once, because some of the hooks rusted.  They came out and replaced them with no issues and no more rusting.  And just now they came back out because a critter chewed a hole in the net while we had it stored.  They repaired the hole, and it's good as new.  Would definitely recommend the net as an option for people who can't have a fenced pool, and would definitely recommend this company for their good product and customer service.

Working with Hernandez Ironworks was AMAZING! I had worried about finding a professional gate company to make custom gates to fit my vision, style, and security needs and Hernandez truly delivered. I texted their office frequently to discuss materials, colors, and sizing to make sure they offered exactly what we were looking for in our backyard. They were so helpful in finding the right solution for our gates.

We ended up getting 3 custom steel gates with them to pass our city pool inspection. They turned out beautiful and they are all amazing quality, knowing they will last forever and provide security and aesthetic appeal in our backyard. They also followed up with me a month later to grease our springs and repaint any areas that had been scuffed during our yard construction. Like most home owners I had a vison of what I wanted done at my home but did not know how or where to begin. It can be intimidating reaching out to a company you have never worked with but I decided to reach out to Gabe and am very thankful I did.

Gabe's labor cost was fair in relation to the type of work he performed. (I later learned he was well below the average cost of his competitors.) When it came time to compensate Gabe for his work I had no reservations on the price as I felt it was deserved based on the wonderful outcome.

Each time I pull in my driveway and see Gabe's work it brings a smile to my face. I have had countless compliments on my projects originality and coolness and feel that others should give Gabe an opportunity for their projects, you would be in good hands. I had struggled to find someone to replace some gates.  I had lived through a lack of return phone calls and people not showing up to provide an estimate.  I turned to Yelp and found Tim and Carol at Just Gates.  I got both an email and phone follow up within a couple of hours.  They are very busy and scheduled the estimate about a month out.  They both showed up, and were amazing people.  The gates were done earlier than promised and are exactly what I had hoped for and cheaper than what I had budgeted for.  I am so happy with the service, the product and Tim and Carol at Just Gates.
