One of our small entry gates to the backyard had come unhinged. We did a Yelp request for gate people. The request went out to several contractors with a photo of the damage.
The Handy gate man and a few others responded very quickly with estimates. The Handy gate man came in with a good bid.
We had several discussions with Lev from the Handy Gate man. We found him to be very responsive. We booked an appointment and asked that he contact us when in the area.
Lev contacted us as asked. He looked at the job and said he would be done in 10 minutes. He also leveled the gate so that it would close properly. 10 minutes later we were paying for the work. He was honest, efficient and true to his word. Highly recommend.

I had our gate replaced recently after receiving a warning letter from HOA.

I had him bookmarked on Yelp for a quite some times knowing I needed a new gate but waited until I was forced to do so.

His price is competitive. It's just Lev doing all the work. He is responsive, courteous, and prompt.

This morning, I called to ask if they serviced automated gates out in Wickenburg. For a small trip fee, Leo was willing to drive out. We made a plan for an appointment this week and things changed in just a few hours. He was accommodating to reschedule at a future date and he also gave me feedback as to what the problem might be based on the model of gate opener we have and hiw it was preforming.

Our gate became misaligned over the years. And the integral combination lock usually took about 10 attempts before it would open. Lev was able to realign the very-solid gate frame so that it would close all the way again. And he suggested a new way to lock the gate with a deadbolt and easily-replaceable lock should the new one eventually go bad due to weather exposure. He was even able to come out the next day to complete the repair. He gave me two alternatives on pricing, depending how I wanted him to do the repair which I thought was very fair. I have insufficient good ways to say thanks, except to say that if you need gate repair, be sure to call Lev. He's at (520) 276-4979. I expect you will be very pleased! Thank you, Lev!

Lev built and installed a gate for my neighbor, I went to talk to him about replacing ours. He is very knowledgeable and trustworthy. I recommend him to anyone needing a gate replacement.

I think the turnaround took 1 month. 2 Weeks for the Masonry team, and 2 weeks for the gate built, installed.
He hauled off the old awful gate and ensure to make sure we had a secure strong gate.

We are extremely happy with our gate! Our builder's grade gate rusted out and I reached out to the Handy Gate Man for a quote. His response was immediate and comparable to other places I checked with. He showed up the next day to take measurements and told us our gate would be ready in about 3 weeks. Once it was ready, he called us and installed it the next day! Everything was very no nonsense and easy! We LOVE our new gate. If I could give 6 stars I would, working with Lev to replace 2 gates at our house was wonderful. He was on time, responsive and did an excellent job. We ended needing to replace the pillars for one gate and he coordinated getting the Mason who also was on time and did a great job. After dealing with multiple contractors and suffering he was a breathe of fresh air. Highly recommend!

I merely contacted Lev for a quote and after a couple text messages he somehow got the impression that I was wanting him to do the job cheaper, which I never once asked for, and then he told me to look on yelp for someone who would do my simple job cheaper and that he was no longer interested in helping me. After sending out several bids for a new side yard gate, Lev from Handy Gate Man was very quick to answer. He remained responsive through the entire conversation, which was very nice. He offered the best price overall and visited our home to get a sense of where we wanted the gate, how it would be oriented, what color, etc. He spent time determining the best way to do the job. His schedule was a little busy (a good thing) but he was able to install our gate within a week or so!

Lev showed up on time and went straight to work. He was cautious in securing the fence to our cinder block wall and worked hard to cement the other part of the fence into the ground. Overall, Lev did a fantastic job- we love the new gate. Our pups can now access this new fenced area from a dog door and enjoy being outdoors while kept away from our pool. So worth the investment!

We'd highly recommend Lev and his company to perform any kind of fence/gate work. You'll see from the positive reviews and photos that he performs high quality work. I'm bookmarking Handy Gate Man for any future gate or fence needs. Thanks Lev!

Gate repaired and looks great. However have tried to reach him to finish the repair to the gate handle/door knob. I paid for the repairs he has done but he said he would have to order special parts. Never heard from him again.
Update: company responded to me, said the parts needed are on order still, and it sounds like they might not be able to get them. However I do want to change my rating. Because the gate looks great and I'm very happy.

This guy was terrific. He was very responsive after initially messaging through Yelp, gave us an estimate based on pictures we sent, and his prices were extremely reasonable. Much more reasonable than the other companies we had contacted. Once we agreed to have him replace our side yard gate, Lev told us when he'd be able to come, and he actually showed up on the exact date and time that he said he would (imagine that!). He got the work done in a timely and efficient manner, disposed of our old gate, and the new gate looks great. Can't recommend him strongly enough.

The metal latch broke off our gate. I could not find the right latch anywhere and I did not want to replace the decorative metal gate. I found Handy Gate Man on Yelp. After a text exchange and a photo, Lev came out for an estimate. He replaced my latch, and filled in some old rusty holes from some other bad repairs. He has all the equipment in his truck. It took him about 1/2 hour and the repair blends in perfectly with the gate. I am so pleased and the gate has never worked better. Very reasonably priced and I did not have to buy a new gate. Very easy, uncomplicated experience.

Our old wooden backyard gate was about to fall off it's hinges. Found Handy gate man on Yelp, and requested a quote through Yelp as well. Lev got back to me very quickly with a competitive initial quote, which sounded great. Of course he had to come out for an exact quote, which he did the very next morning. He was there right when he said he would be (no 'time windows'), and it took him about 5 minutes to measure and give me a revised quote with some options.
All sounded good, we scheduled about 2 weeks out. The gate was installed yesterday as scheduled and it looks/operates great. A huge step up from our old one, which they kindly dismantled and hauled away.
If you need a new gate, I would not hesitate to contact Handy gate man. Lev was extremely prompt and professional, overall a great experience! I've attached a couple of pictures as well.

Lev is awesome! He got back to me right away when I contacted him about getting a new gate for our side yard. I gave him the measurements and we scheduled the installation the next week.

He gave us a heads up on the day of installation, to let us know when-abouts he'd be arriving.

We're very happy with the quality of the gate and the fit. The gate we were replacing was so old and rickety. It dragged on the ground with a horrid sound when you opened and closed it,the locks wouldn't latch, and it loved giving people splinters. It was awful and not secure.

Lev was very professional and we're looking forward to replacing our RV gate sometime in the new year year with Lev as well.

I highly recommend Lev if you need a new gate installed.

I just had my pedestrian gate replaced by Lev, the owner of the company. All the arrangements were done by text and email, and payment was dowith the zelle app, which made it very convenient for me. I never had to be at home. $350 for a beautiful gate. It was 12 days from ordering to installation. I'm very pleased with the service I received.

Lev did two more gates for me this week (April 10 2019)- another standard pedestrian gate, plus a larger double-size gate. The work was as good as the job done last month. He was thorough in his work, timely in the installation, and easy to communicate with. I didn't need to be there for the installation and was able to pay him electronically. So easy to work with.

Amazing! Found this business on Yelp after a very quick search and skim of reviews. We had two gates with traditional latch systems and wanted to upgrade to knobs and deadbolts following a break in. Lev answered in minutes, provided quotes based solely on two pictures, arrived two days later and did exactly what we needed (for exactly the price he quoted). The prices were very reasonable and worth every penny. The guy who built our fence quoted us 50% higher. Stop looking. He's your guy.

Lev did a fantastic job! Quickly responded to the Yelp quote request with a very competitive price, then I asked him to come over to take a look at my gate because it was not a standard size. He was right on time for our appointment. Scheduled install 3 days later where he showed up 10 minutes early, (If you cant tell, being on time and customer urgency are very important to me) and went right to work.

I was surprised how much work went into it. I'm glad I didn't try doing it myself. He brought all the tools, welder, table saw and even an umbrella to protect from the sun (smart) Because my gate wasn't the standard size it had to be fabricated.

The gate looks and works great! He also took the old broken one away with him witch I really appreciated.

I am updating my review. The initial install was wonderful and I was extremely happy with the new gate. However, shortly after install, it rained and the slats seemed to be retaining water and there was some staining on the bottom of them. I reached out to find out if that was normal and if it would eventually go away or if it could be fixed. I received a quick response to the initial message but after I provided my address, for him to look up the information, I never heard back. The water stains are still on the bottom of the slats. Disappointed in the follow up.

After our non hoa neighborhood was selected for upgrades from city of Mesa - we were given written warning on our toyhauler not being behind a 6 ft rv gate. I am yelp elite and began my search immediately to find a rv gate guy. I sent my request to 4 other companies- Leo from handy gate man was the first one to respond and he literally came the next day to take a look and get measurements. That day - he said he could absolutely do it by our deadline ( feb 18th) . Today he showed up on time, did the job , the price didn't change and it looks absolutely amazing. Lev helped resolve a sagging gate - re-poured the footer for part of the block wall, rebuilt the wall and even painted it with color matched paint. The gate was rehung and it works great. We thought the lock may have been broken, and he stated that the lead time was a few months - he called me the next day to say that he had a used one from an old project and could help me out with it for a really fair price, installed. I got the lock working and didn't take him up on the offer, but I have to say that Lev is very responsive and the entire process was straightforward.

Lev was great to work with and easy to communicate with. I contacted him on a Friday evening. He came out to take measurements on Monday and installed the new gate on Tuesday.

He arrived with all the tools and materials he needed and the final product is top notch. He cut and welded the gate exactly to size and it functions perfectly.

The owner/installer LEV did an excellent job from start to finish. He called me back minutes after leaving a message and politely answered all my questions over the phone. He came to the property (no charge) to look at the two gates I needed to replace. Lev is professional, communicative, and competitively priced. I had an RV gate that had been falling out of the wall since I bought my house. I decided it was time for a repair when it finally started to really fall over after a windy monsoon night.

Lev responded right away, was able to get out to take a look within a couple days and was able to make the repairs within just a couple days of that. He communicated consistently through Yelp the whole time and didn't even need me home to complete the repair.

Like I said: pricing was great, quality was great, and I was able to pay online. I strongly recommend his repair work. I can also say his quote for a NEW gate was also very competitive, but I wasn't looking for a replacement this time around.

You can't go wrong with the Handy Gate Man.

Owner initially provided an online quote and came out to verify measurements and stated he was a month out. I advised I had to discuss with spouse and get back to him. Got back to him within a few days to week that we'd like to move forward. No response. Left several messages via Yelp message and also informed him we received HOA approval as well. Still no response. Husband called and left message and he still didn't call back. Common curtesy would be to at least return our message/call if you couldn't do the job!!!

I had Lev install a new RV Gate. From the start, he was a professional.
1. Lev got right back to me with an initial quote, and within 2 hours he had been to my house and gave me an exact quote with some options.
2.Lev sent me a picture on what part of the wall/original gate would be taken out and where the new pillar would be.
3. Lev scheduled his masonry partner (Alvaro) for 8 a.m. on Saturday, Alvaro was their promptly at 8 and was finished with the work around noon.
4. The masonry had to dry for a couple of days, Lev scheduled to come out at 9 a.m. on Tuesday was promptly their at 9 was finished with the gate install by 1:15. Which I might add is awesome looking.

Our 35 year old backyard gate was in terrible shape and was literally falling apart. We reviewed the companies listed on Yelp and selected Handy Gate Man to handle the job. The response to our initial contact was quick and we received the bid within a couple days. Once we got the HOA approvals we scheduled the work which was done on scheduled for the agreed cost. I called the Handy Gate Man yesterday to see if he could provide me with a quote to replace a double swing gate on one side of my house as it was falling apart and being held closed by a large rock. I typically like to get more than one bid, but since I hadn't heard back from the other 2 companies I called and he had a 5 star rating, I went ahead and hired him. With that being said, he showed up when he said he was going to, installed the 2 new gates and they look amazing!!

I would highly recommend him if you're looking to install new or replace old worn out gates!

What I appreciate about Lev is that he takes pride in his work and pays attention to detail. The gate looked great but months after we had our gate installed the alignment got off so it wasn't closing smoothly. Lev was kind enough to come back and fix it at no charge. Wow. One of those situations where I wish I had more work for Lev. He was in our yard for a quote just hours after we first contacted him, and two days later the job was underway. We bought a custom house on an county island that had already had an existing set of gates, but after a month of getting out of the car to open and close it behind us we realized we needed to motorize these gates.

Handy Gate Man (Lev) was super responsive, great value, showed up on time (every time btw) and within a week we had our pin pads/keypads, motor, brand new wheels and rollers, clickers, and app for our phone to work this remotely if needed.

I ended up going with a solar powered unit (30W) and we couldn't be happier.

I highly recommend this company. As someone who deals with trades all the time it seems like it's harder and harder to find ones that show up on time, and respond quickly. Lev with Handy Gate Man was great.

I ask the gate man to look at my gate and give me an estimate for replacement. Lev was thorough and came out to measure the space. He noticed that it didn't have an auto-close spring and that it had lots of water damage. He made sure it's up to code and safe with the spring. The boards will last a long time because he installed ones that won't rot with sprinklers hitting them. He came out and performed the work as specified in his quote. There were no hidden or secret charges. The work was done professionally and in a timely fashion. Great job, very professional and he listens and responds quickly. Would definitely use him again.

We had our gate repaired a couple months ago, and I am super happy with the repair and service. I apologize I don't remember the name of the technician but he was very nice and on time. The cost was extremely reasonable and it saved us from having to replace our whole gate. He replaced the metal latch, which had broke off. Now I just need to repaint the gate. I would recommend calling this company if you have any gate issues.
