Our pool company's demolition subcontractor damaged our existing side yard gate. So I had to get it replaced because one panel is literally pulling the stucco off the side wall of my house! I contacted several businesses and Sebastian (Gates The Right Way) came off as efficient, honest, and knowledgeable. He came out, did the measurements and gave us a bid. In a little over a month, we have a brand new gate installed the right way (with a new metal post in concrete footing instead of attaching it to the side wall with toggles). The gate looks great and we are already getting compliments from our neighbors.

Sebastian is fair and honest with his pricing and gates. I had received quotes from 5-6 other company's and they were either more expensive or booked 6-8 weeks out and I did not have time to wait. From the day he came to measure the wall to give me a quote to the day of install the process was seamless. He showed me examples and I really liked the gates he does as you are not able to see through the slats like other gates. He was able to get my gate done within a few weeks and installed in an hour. I highly recommend using him for any gates that you need, I had a 14ft rv gate installed with composite slats. I will use him in the future if needed, thank you again!

We needed to remove a section of our block wall and install an RV gate for a new trailer.

Not only was the price one of the most reasonable of all we received, the photos he showed of prior jobs impressed us. stainless steel bolts and powder coating the gates were suggested upgrades at a minor cost increase.

His mason (paid separately) actually set the 3 posts in concrete, where other quotes were 2 and affixed to the existing columns. This was extremely important to us, as the other companies wouldn't guarantee against sag and stated in contract sag correction would be an additional fee!

He included upgrades as standard some things other companies offered as additional cost options, or not at all. Like using 3 posts, privacy panels (not sure what he called the panels), and using 4 straps to secure the slats to instead of three.

He was able to get the work done and gate installed many weeks earlier than the other quotes too.
The 12 ft gate looks fantastic, and I know we made the right choice in selecting Gates the Right Way for our project.

Minor hiccups: powder coating delayed by one day as the coater was only doing white the scheduled day. Sebastian's quote could have been a lot more detailed, but in our case he remembered everything we talked about and it was not an issue in the end.

Over all, I highly recommend this company and would not hesitate to hire them again.

Sebastian and his team are amazing! My side gate was taken down due to some tile work and it was reinstalled completely wrong. This resulted in the door coming out of the side wall two times and both doors were out of alignment. Each repair made it so much worse. Gates The Right Way came were able to fix it perfectly! I needed a gate repaired due to anchors loosing ! They came out the same day and replaced new solid anchors fo the gate in a block wall ! It was done ok less than an hour ! And he readjusted the door to have it centered !

WOW!!!  I had a custom gate built for my new home from a different company and it has been wrong since day one, I had to constantly adjust the hinges.  Finally the weld stopping the gate from opening inward completely broke off, I wanted it fixed right so I did not call the company that built it 2 years ago.  Here is where I found Sebastian at Gates the Right Way.  He was responsive, kept in touch fast, reasonably priced (actually cheap but I don't want to tell him that :=)) and fixed the problem fast and right.   The gate has NEVER operated as well as it does now! I will never call another company for any gate needs.

Very prompt, which is impressive considering that the job was scheduled on a Sunday. Wonderfully detailed and thorough in that they completely refurbished the gate, more than replace the wooden slats. Sebastian and his partner provided new, pre-treated wood slats and stripped the metal gate. They cleaned, refurbished, repainted and re-leveled the gate. They even replaced the spring. I found this company on Yelp. I had a gate that the latch completely broke off. I requested a quote through Yelp, and as contacted back in ten minutes. I explained that my wife worked from home so it didn't need to be right away, but he said he was happy to come out if I didn't mind it being around 6:00pm. Wow, someone who knows you need something fix, and is willing to come out that late on a Saturday! He came out, and did more than I asked for the price we had agreed on. His work is great! My gate looks perfect and the latch looks like it came with the home. I 100% recommend this guy! I also like supporting a local guy who is running his own small business. I will be sharing his info with my neighborhood!
