Larry is an energetice character! Very personable, and friendly. Gates can take a loooong time to create, but who wants cookie cutter? I LOVE my gates, even if they took a few months to get.  Larry put up with my picky requests with a smile on his face and told me that he would want things perfect too. Just a very nice transaction all around. The gates are oil rubbed bronze and perfect against the backdrop of the mountain views! The fabricated wood will last for a long time, and the metal gates are strong and sturdy, and beautiful. Thanks Larry!

Called to have Dave come by and give me a quote for a door... His response, well if I come out are you gonna order a door?....

Being a past small business owner, I don't understand how these places stay in business.... Apparently they are doing very well to treat potential customers this way... Unbelievable....

Now I received a harassing phone call from Dave explaining to me how I misunderstood what he said... He also informed me that he sold a million dollars worth of doors and would never say that.... My goodness Dave, just let it go.... You would have been better off just apologizing and moving on... Selling a million dollars worth of doors, it's clear you don't need my business!!!

Made a phone call regarding a malfunctioning garage door. Service man came within 2 hours, explained the problem, the solution, and did the fix on the spot. Pricing was very reasonable and did not try to sell me more than I needed.  No issues and would recommend to all.

Great customer service, I told them what I wanted to building and they helped me with all the hardware and suggested he best way to do it.  Also gave me a first time customer discount and military discount.

Rob responded immediately and completed a job (with changes midstream) within a very short time.  The work was high quality and the cost very reasonable.  Thanks Rob!

One of my gates had swung shut and past the latch, bending the slider bar.

Jason came out to my house, fixed the gate, installed a couple of stops to prevent the gates from opening in the wrong direction as promised.

We he arrived, we noticed the wall the gate was attached to, was separating from the house, he was able to straighten out the wall and installed a bracket to the wall and the house.

Everything is working great again.

I wouldn't hesitate to use Alpha again if needed.

Well. Mind blown. We do not do much to our house but in the past the only requirement to say that a contractor was 'good', was that they were not a nightmare. Our neighbor suggested Toro Construction for a shared wall and hubby got a good impression when he got a quote.
They did a good job, finished when they said it was going to be finished, and quickly took care of a couple of items that we brought to their attention afterwards.
I was dreading this project but overall it was a great experience. I believe our neighbor was very happy too.

My only complain is that they woke me up super early for those days, lol...
If they had arrived at 11am I would work with Yelp to give them 6 stars : P

Bought our pool barrier fence 4 years ago. Magna latch broke and Leonard came within two days and installed the newest model. Magna latch is lifetime guaranteed but it was great to have good service so many years later. Pool barrier looks after their customers.

We had our pool fence installed last week and I am so happy with it! It looks very appealing and keeps our two year old safe and provides me with much needed peace of mind! Dane the owner set up my appointment and worked around my schedule, he was very flexible. He also came out and did the install to my surprise, he seemed very involved in his business from start to finish. Dane and his crew were very professional, and efficient. I would highly recommend going with Protect a Child if you're looking to invest in pool fencing. The quality of the product and service was great!

After buying several homes in the valley, and watching pools get built time after time my husband and I decided to contract the pool ourselves.

We found out why we don't build pools for a living. Problem after problem with the tradesmen, delays, budget overages, and doing things twice seem to be common procedure.

When it came down to the fence and getting to the finish line to pass final inspection, there were multiple opinions on what needed to be done and how.

Brian with Far From Average was a blessing in disguise. Brian was very knowledgeable on every code, every variation, and what actually needed to be done. Brian was a true professional. The fence came in on time and within budget. Not to mention how well Brian understood the difficulty of our pool layout and design, with a very precise and clean installation. The experience from start to finish was effortless and hassle free. The fence came out beautiful. Brian's attention to detail was impressive. Communication throughout the process was fantastic. I would highly recommend.

Mike is a true expert in his field. I've had him build me a few custom shipping and work tables. They have all turned out exactly how I wanted them/exactly what I asked for. He's accurate, quick, and easy to work with. If you need any kind of metal fab work done, Mike is your guy.

Great response and quality of work was exceptional.   Created a beautiful courtyard gate 6 ft wide x 9 ft tall.  About 3-4 weeks from quote to complete install.  Would recommend these guys for any welding need

Ralph came to my home and did the job in 90 min...the day before a rep. From jahm iron couldn't..wouldnt do it...ralph left with the cash!! Appreciate you..will use again!!

we have a house uptown Sedona and we used Steven Eagle Design to design and install a fence around our entire yard.
we had the best experience working with them. they are a great team that would go out of their way to please their clients.
very honest group and their pricing was great. I would recommend them for sure and we had such a great experience working with them. I can not say enough good things about them. we love our new fence. Michael

Ordered front security door. Was months with no contact or update. Over 3 months & I finally called to find out that the door was long done but they lost the paperwork for installation because someone quit & didn't pass the files on.
Then they installed it leaving gaping holes and crappy fitting.
Contacted installer back & sent pictures with no follow through.
Recontacted customer service and requested a better installer. So they sent someone who did NOTHING to fix it yet put it in system as resolved.
So now today they scheduled someone to come but would not even give me an installation window & said they would call when in their way. So again, my whole Saturday is wasted waiting for them, not knowing what time they're coming.
I am so infuriated. I want to bury this company.

Where to begin?  Not sure how this business continues to stay alive.
 I would like to give 5 PLUS stars to Tatum Percival and Jesus who both were able to resolve this issue that began that first of July.
I was given extremely poor, rude, unprofessional advice from all other people I spoke to among of which ... Allen that hung up on me, Jennifer that gave me the run around... you can get the part at Az. Hardware or any hardware store which in fact, the part had been discontinued ..I discovered after running to mesa and many different hardward stores.
 Tatum was the only person that went over and beyond to talk to engineering, to find the part, to set up the service call.  She did this before and after her scheduled hours at this rude store.
  People on the phone were rude,  well, we are in Gilbert and you live on the westside so it may be a while to get to you.  WRONG.  Jesus called hours before and came promptly to my house 15 minutes before his stated time.  
 Before I spoke to Tatum... I was told that if I could not find the part (right, cuz it did not exist) that I could pay upfront a service charge or find the part and they would charge $95 to install.
  I would get calls for me to return... when I called... that person is gone. what do you want?  when they initiated the call.
Michelle, Melissa.... all would argue with me... no you cannot be the first call of the day ... uh, yes I was thanks to Tatum.
Tatum and Jesus.  I wish you the best in your futures endeavors.. please know that you both are appreciated.  I am so glad this continuing problem that caused many hours of grief, time, gas, frustrating is over.  Would never ever want anyone to go through this discouraging, hateful, unrespectful company.

Juan responded to my request for an estimate immediately and worked on a Sunday to accommodate my schedule and dogs. The gates are beautiful and I would HIGHLY recommend this company!
