We contacted Glendale Welding based on prior reviews and BBB ratings.  Getting an estimate during the pandemic proved challenging, after 4 failed attempts I called Larry and he scheduled, arrived promptly, sketched the job  and walked us through the process.  Composite wood gates are a challenge because the slat product is in high demand with little surplus.  He quickly went to work, and was able to secure enough product for our project.   From quote to install less than 3 weeks. He also hauled away our old gates at no charge.  We are very pleased with the look, functionality of our new entry and RV gates.

First of all, we live in Yuma and couldn't find the door that we wanted, so we travelled to Phoenix. Steel Shield was our first stop and we didn't look any further since we had the good fortune to be shown around by David. No sales pitch, he didn't have to. His product sells itself. He even took us on a tour of the production area where they make the doors.   Yuma isn't in their service area so we knew that we would have to arrange for transportation and installation of the finished product ourselves.  Going with a different company wasn't even a consideration once we saw their doors and experienced the commitment to customer service that David and his staff expressed and demonstrated to us.  Fast forward a couple of months and we received our door and had it installed today. The door exceeds our expectations and we are beyond pleased and so happy to have done business with Steel Shield! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! If you want the best, go to Steel Shield.

I first came across SDGF on Thumbtack when I needed a new garage key pad installed. Last summer my garage opener was malfunctioning and since Frank was so helpful the first time, I called them back again for my opener repair. I had another issue just recently with my garage springs and he came to fix it the same day with the appropriate parts on hand. SDGF's customer service, punctuality and reliability is above all the rest. Highly recommend!

Fred did a good job putting up my chain-link fence. It didn't take him very long considering he had to do it all by himself. The job looks good I just feel like he should've had some help. That is why I'm giving it four stars

They are good! I needed a busted up chain link fence replaced on a home I had just bought. First win: I actually got a quote from them based on them actually looking at the property!  I think I contacted every fence company that said they service Phoenix. This is the only company that actually came to look at the property to get a good, valid quote. Once I agreed to the quote I was then told what to expect and preparation steps. The construction went much faster than I expected, and communication during the construction was handled well. Great Job!

We needed to get a fence installed since we are going to start having children around the house, we are foster parents. I probably had about four different companies come in and gave me an estimate. We decided on Pool Barriers of AZ based on the Life Saver fence. I did not want a iron rod fence, I wanted to be able to remove the fence myself if we no longer needed the fence. I was original worried how this fence was going to look? However after it was installed, it looks great! Now the only reason why they did not received a five star rating, I had to call them back to look at a cut on one of the panels, and a couple of holes on another panel. They sent someone over right away to replace the cut panel. We are very happy with the service from Pool Barriers, very happy with the product. We had the house painted and I already had to remove the fence. It was very easy to remove and re-install. We have had a very positive experience with Pool Barriers.

These guys are the best! Did a reinstall of a fence we had a previous residence and it looks perfect.

The installation was good. There was only some design iisue that was not considered during the planning. After the installation, one of the fence side is obstructing my window view. Really look awful. I texted one of the staff how to fix it but there was no response.

Mike is a true expert in his field. I've had him build me a few custom shipping and work tables. They have all turned out exactly how I wanted them/exactly what I asked for. He's accurate, quick, and easy to work with. If you need any kind of metal fab work done, Mike is your guy.

Great response and quality of work was exceptional.   Created a beautiful courtyard gate 6 ft wide x 9 ft tall.  About 3-4 weeks from quote to complete install.  Would recommend these guys for any welding need

I would have loved to do business with this company, but their First Impression was just terrible. Get it? It's their name, and it sucked. Whatever. I sent a message on Yelp to get someone out to see the project and submit a bid, but what I got in return was a long winded template response giving me a list of options instead of actually trying to set something up.  When I responded saying I didn't follow, and provided my phone number, I received another long winded template response. Hired someone who bothered to ask my address and show up, rather than hit copy and paste.

Just got a security screen door installed.  It is beautiful and Richard the installer was quick and competent.    Some aspects of the entire process were frustrating (CAD department was a little confused )  however most other parts were good. I did look at other companies but no one had the design or quality I wanted.  I am glad I chose First Impression.  Sales person David was always responsive and accommodating.

Not in a rush for replacing my RV Gate as I've been told that people are backed up.  I get that, times are a little stressful.  Waiting wasn't a big deal.

But I asked for a quote.  3 days in, still no quote.  I was told 2 days in a row I would get it that day...nothing.

I've called, texted, texted pics, followed up.

Nada.

Will not use these guys and don't suggest that anyone else does either.
