Best Locksmiths in Arizona

I had bad experience with Mercury Lock & Safe.  To begin with, the gentleman that waited on me (owner I believe) was rude.  He charged me $20 to make a key that did not work.  He then told me to call back in two or three days that he had "blanks" ordered that would work for the lock.  It has now been ten days, I have called the store three times and the story keeps changing.  I would not recommend using Mercury Lock & Safe.

Scott Stoddart really knows his stuff!  He replaced our front door hardware and it looks and works perfectly. He found the parts and was back at our home to do the replacement in less than 24 hours. Very nice man, honest and easy to work with. Highly recommend Stoddart's!

Good service, efficient!  Called them at 11 and they were able to come soon after.  CJ gave us cell number in case there were any issues after.  Also appreciate the timeliness - CJ said he'd arrive at 2 and he was here at 1:58pm.  Thank you!

This locksmith saved me!! I accidentally left my keys inside my home. I looked up the nearest locksmith & ended up getting Rafael. He was on time, professional, well equipped and got the job done. Acme is amazing!  We've been locked out of our mailbox for a week and we didn't know what to do.  I contacted Acme and spoke with Violet, who was so very friendly and helpful.  I was originally scheduled for Monday (a three day wait) but once I told Violet our dilemma- she moved us up with no extra charge!  Today, Bobby with Acme moved his schedule around to accommodate us.  Bobby fixed our mailbox lock problem with a solution that will last!  We are very happy with this company's customer service and attention to detail.  Definitely recommend them!

I had to get some keys copied for my office door and Wal-Mart couldn't copy the specific shape of key, and neither could Home Depot, so they recommended us to this place.

We walked in and I showed the guy at the front desk (I assume he is the owner) the key and said I would like 2 copies. The key says "do not duplicate" on it, and since Home Depot and Wal Mart didn't even bother to acknowledge that, I figured this guy would just ask what it was for, and once I told him an office door, all would be well.
I had my boss' company credit card with me, as some sort of proof of where I worked or whatever, and was going to show him.

Before I could even open my mouth, the man started rudely asking me things like "how do I know you're even authorized to copy this key? How do I know where you work? I don't know who you are, I don't know who your boss is."

Each time I tried to tell him where I worked and that I had the company credit card, he interrupted me and was almost grilling me. Finally I showed him the card and all of a sudden he was nice. Took the key from me and copied it. Once he came back to cash me out he was all polite and had a total change of attitude. But I was so thrown off by his interrogation I wasn't sure what to do.

I paid for the copied keys and went on my way. My coworker that was with me noticed the same attitude and we both agreed as soon as we left the store that the man was extremely rude.

I probably wouldn't find myself back there for any other reason in the future, but if I need a key copied that Home Depot or Wal Mart can't do, I'll go somewhere besides this place, even if just to avoid the rude service.

Ernie is a great guy and has been in the game for 30 years and knows his stuff. He was wonderful to talk to and work with. He helped me make a custom key work for my car that was originally intended for a miata.

I can't say enough great things about Copperstate! I've used other locksmiths in the past, but after calling these guys to re-key my house, I will never use another company. Jim, the owner, is fantastic! His level of expertise and professionalism is excellent and he and his team are a pleasure to work with. I would recommend Copperstate to anyone looking for exceptional service and extremely fair prices!

We were all set to go camping for a few day with our Travel Trailer and I went to put one more item in it and found that the dead bolt lock would not open.   We called Pro-Lock and they said to come bring it over and they would take care of it right away.   He was able to use some tools to pull the lock out and discover that 2 screws had backed out.   So there was no need for a new lock.  One hour and $28 later we were on the road.   We are happy customers due to fast service and being honest about not needing to replace the lock.
